Great experience here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Got an oil change and my tires rotated and it took about 30 minutes total. Typically if I go to a jiffy lube or a Kwik Kar these services take over an hour. I will only be coming back to this location!!! Fair prices too!

I know there isnt a replacement for Larry at this location but Mary and her crew at Valvoline have been a great help and pleasure. The group helped me troubleshoot a used car I recently purchased for cash. I bought this car for my son to use while his daily driver was in the shop. They thoroughly checked the car over and gave me a list of things to keep an eye on, along with some interesting information on the engine that was overlooked by the original dealership. Great attention to detail and customer service.

I average around 4 oil changes a year on my work vehicle at this location, solid and friendly service every time. The other four oil changes a year (out of town) remind me of why I like this spot so much.

Oil filter: HAND TIGHT ONLY. I need the force of Superman to get your filters off when I do my own oil changes when I get the time. Not just once, not just twice, everytime. Never again coming back

My experience was a very rewarding experience. I had a State inspection done first the gentleman the did that just took care of the whole thing no questions asked. I passed with flying colors. Then I asked to get oil put into my car as I knew I was a quart low and to check the air in my tires. The crew got me right over to the other bay and got me taken care of immediately. I was very satisfied with my overall performance.

I love this auto place. Oil change there all the time and rotate my tires. They are very efficient, friendly and fast.

Friendly individuals, respectable and good social distancing protocols. You stay in your car, they will wear a mask and keep their distance. They alert you before you open your door (just in case you took it off while they were working), etc. Overall, great service and I appreciate the social distancing.

Where do I even begin with my experience here at this Valvoline, will let me first and foremost start off by saying that the new manager has really got the place clean and off to a good start. Noticed that the quality of my oil change has went up dramatically since under the new management. Highly recommended before but I even recommended more now. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for keeping your store so clean, and for keeping my service quick and up-to-date.

Had my oil changed here, went to do it myself next time, and I could barely get the filter off it was so tight. I got no idea of y’alls technique, but I’ve always heard snug and then a quarter turn is all the force you need. So now why did I need near the force of God to get the filter y’all installed off. I’m out of ideas. And I’m definitely not coming back.

*Updated review*They were unable to remove the oil filter that they over tightened at previous oil change (they did) on my car. I ended up with going to the dealership and paid $80 to removed it. Previous owner Larry had great relationship with his customers. Apparently, new management does not care much at all. I had to drop my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Moreover, all these 5 stars review earned this establishment during under the management of Mr. Larry.

This is an extremely professional and well run establishment. Its obviously staffed and managed by people who take pride in their work. Ill always come here.

Ive been coming here for a while now for all of my vehicle basic needs and inspections. Oil changes, tire rotations, annual inspections, etc. Always super friendly and are very aware of wait times and apologize if things take longer than normal. Ill keep coming here for all of my vehicles.

Mary the assistant manager, Sidney, and Anthony helped me out! I was very pleased with my oil change and the service they provided! They were quick! Mary was so polite and continued to make sure my car was in the best condition for driving! She even taught me a few things and tips about my Kia and the Kia engine! Will refer friends and I will return back as a customer!

Very nice people. Helpful. Did a good job. A little pricey, but they had a couple coupon deals that brought the cost down quite a bit.

After my oil change I went to get my car washed. While cleaning my tires I noticed that 2 of my Valve Stem Tire Caps were missing, with the third one been barely screwed down. Here goes my saving using a Groupon. I wont be back !

Larry has sold the business and unfortunately the customer service and the great employees are all gone as well. Larry earned a comfortable retirement but now I’m looking for a new service station. Confusion, disorganization and a lack of communication seem to be the norm now.If you’re a local mechanic, there is a need to fill the hole Larry left. Come open a shop in the area, offer quality honest service and the community will loyally beat a path to your door.

Well I been using this oil change place now for 2 years! Today got my oil changed today and a week later found that there is a oil leak! I took it back and the said they fix it ! We will see !

I have never in the 8 years owning the car paid that for an oil change!! Valvoline is using the customer base of Kwik Kar but without the customer service or prices.What a Rip Off!! Loath this place now!

Kwik Kar on Lake Conroe is no longer there. It is some other oil place now. Really going to miss Mr. Larry, his wife, and his team. They always treated us and our cars with respect. It was the only place I would send my wife or daughter to without worrying they were going to get taken advantage of.

Byron has been here for a years and is as great as ever. Kristi and Tyler were incredibly fast and friendly - I felt confident in coming here, because these people are professionals.

Today was our 1st time here and it was well worth the drive from the Woodlands. We pulled in and requested an inspection. They are fast and efficient. Their customer service is amazing and the owner Larry has an awesome personality and very friendly. I will gladly make the drive in the future to service our truck.

Friendly Management stands behind the work, and heads off future problems, offering dependable advice and suggestions, if appropriate. Premises are clean, and prices are reasonable, too! We take all our non-warranty work here. If they cant do it, they are frank to recommend an ethical place to do the work. I recommend this establishment to everyone!

Family owned and operated. They really care and I trust them completely! They always go above arms beyond and recommend trustworthy locations if they cant fix your issue.

I was a little leery about going here since they bought out Kwik Kar, because I liked them so much. I also thought that with it now being a national chain the prices would be higher. I couldnt have been more wrong. With Covid, you dont even have to get out of your car, and they could not have been nicer, more professional or quick. I literally was out in under 10 minutes, and they checked a bunch of other stuff while changing my oil. I will continue going to them and could not recommend them more highly.TIP: I got a great coupon through Groupon.

Now that Larry is gone, it is like any other over priced big chain.Not the worst I’ve been to, but will not be going back.

The crew that works here are trustworthy and reliable. If they are able to fix a problem they provide options with guidance and the lowest prices I have seen in years. If they feel the work should be done somewhere else they provide ideas on type of places that can do the work. I highly suggest this Kwik Kar for something simple like inspection all the way to complex problems.

This was my first time here and I was there for 2 minutes. All I was told was to pull up behind some truck nothing else. Well I get out, get my one year old out and stand and wait for further instructions but no one came up to me. However, when another woman came up they were quick to get what she needed and got her inside while I stood there with my baby in the cold!!!!! Awful customer service!!!

Its all about making you happy and customer service here! I moved in from out of state and the guys spent time with me explaining the inspection and registration process in Texas. Extremely clean and well maintained business (including restroom). It may have been a coincidence, but both times Ive visited this business I was met with a smile in the parking lot by one of the friendly employees to get started on my truck asap. Went for an oil change. My tech was great, but when he asked another employee to reset my oil change sensor, he got a very condescending response and attitude from his coworker. I guess he was too busy talking to pay attention, and i ended up leaving with my sensor not being reset. I usually have no issues with this chain but i will be going to the valvoline closest to me next time.

Love the staff. Byron especially. He was so helpful. Dont love the new feel of the place, miss old owners.

This place is and always has been a great shop. I get my regular maintenance done here and have never had an issue. I recently had a transmission issue the caught while doing a routine oil change and they sent me to A Plus Transmission close by. A Plus also provided excellent service and a great repair. It is nice to have a circle of trust where everyone wins.

Was told the wait will be 30-40 minutes, they had me sitting behind cars waiting while cars that just arrived were pulling into open bays. I ended up leaving after 40 minutes because the two cars in front of me werent moving, again while new cars were told to pull right in to the other bays that were opening up. Saw workers standing around talking on cell phones. When it was Kwik Kar I was loyal to them cause they had excellent service. I will be finding a new company for that loyalty.

This place is really top notch in customer care and customer service. If they can’t fix something, they tell me who can and once when it was raining, they even insisted on walking me to my car with umbrella escort! Love them!

Superb customer service. As soon as you pull up youre greeted immediately by a staff member. If the owner is not busy he usually greets you with a handshake. They get you in and out. Honest business!

I’ve been a KK-Mr. Larry’s customer for 6 or 7 years. Always it was like going to visit friends ~ oh yes, and get my car serviced at the same time. And then Mr. Larry retired. Well, I went there today for my car’s annual inspection. The new “system” is surely different & not in a good way. Thank goodness Mr. Byron & Mr. Patrick are still there! (And others whose faces I recognized but don’t know their names). If those 2 leave, I’ll be gone too. The new owners need to read these reviews. I’m not opposed to change, per se, but this is ridiculous.

I hadnt even gotten out of my car and the Manager greeted me at my car door. The shop is clean, so is the restroom. The owner shows great care towards the customer. 5 star service. 👍

It was great when it was Kwik Kar but now it is owned by someone else. There is a MAJOR difference. You used to come in and feel like one of the family now you feel like just a customer. Just a few of Larry‘s employees have stayed on with the new company.

#1 Place for oil changes and car service. The owner is always there to greet you with a handshake and he makes sure all his customers are taken care of. His employees are the best too and always make for a great experience. I have taken my car there for mechanic work too. They had some problems fixing it so the mechanic stayed late to make sure it was done on the day they said it would be ready, even told I told them it wasnt a problem if it took another day. This place values customer service above all and it shows in their quality of work.

Save yourself an hour or so and bring your car here. The staff are kind, attentive and most importantly, not focused on pedaling something to you that your car doesnt need. When it comes to customer care, this place does it right.
