My ac quit working just as summer started, such a stressfully thing.. went here because of the good reviews and so glad I did... Paul was super nice and honest about what I needed done, not adding up a huge list for his own profit.. had it done by end of following day and my ac is super cold.. and my wallet isnt bone dry. Go here and dont get screwed by the other guys! Trust me.. everyone was very friendly and service was great and job done quick and right.

Paul is a very effective and honest mechanic. I took a car I recently bought in for an alignment, it was over and done pretty quick and he let me know my upper control arm bushings were on their way out and to keep an eye on them. Never tried to upsell me into anything, only gave me a price quote when I asked, and gave me good price estimates on other services I asked him about without trying to upsell me into anything more than Id asked for and kept things brief. Great shop, definitely going back, definitely recommending to anyone who needs mechanic work. If you hold any value in going to mechanics that dont over complicate things to make a buck, this is the place for you.

I walk in as a young female, trusting them to not scam me into spending money and of-course the first thing I’m told is I have to get all 4 tires at once because I have a 4 wheel drive then a week after getting the tires one blows out and my new shop explains to me it’s a manufacture problem and I absolutely do not have to buy all 4 tires at once. Have some respect for your customers, I’m a struggling single mom. Y’all disgust me.

This was my first experience at Pauls Automotive and it was a great one. It’s easy to find a good mechanic, but hard to find one that is good and honest. I work 1.5 miles from Paul’s and didn’t know they were even there, they are truly a hidden gem. I would recommend Paul’s to anyone looking for a mechanic. Between two cars, Paul saved me over $2,500. I was so impressed with everyone there and the service I bought 6 car care books for Christmas presents. My car care book paid for itself on the first visit.

Pauls is without a doubt the best repair shop I have gone to. Above anything he and his employees are very honest, which is hard to find when dealing with a mechanic. Every time I walk into their shop they make me feel like family! They truly provide quality care to your vehicle, communicate with customers frequently, and go above and beyond in order to ensure that you have excellent service. When we first needed a mechanic service for our vehicles, we were not sure where to go. We had seen Pauls but did not know anything about them. Well, take a chance. Great experience working with Pauls shop. It felt more like I was dealing with family than a mechanic trying to sell me something or overcharge for labor and parts. Paul and his crew explained everything to me that I didnt understand and I felt very comfortable working with them and Im very satisfied with the work I got done on my car. I just moved into the area and was looking for a mechanic to service my 1993 Buick that I have owned and cared for since it was new. It is not as easy for me to do the work on the car as I always have and was looking for someone to treat it the way that I have. I found that Paul’s was not only close to my home but it is also a clean and organized shop with knowledgeable and honest mechanics. I had an oil change and an inspection of my 2011 Chevrolet SUV and they did a great job. They did not come out and tell me that you need to have this done or any problems. I appreciate Paul and his group.

Took in my 06 honda civic for some extensive repairs. Paul and his staff were very informative about what I needed. The day I was due to pick up the car, Paul noticed a puddle under car the morning he came into work. He didnt release the car to me until he made sure he corrected the problem. Needless to say I was beyond impressed with his attention to detail. Definitely a new and satisfied customer.

Took my car here and everyone was friendly and all problems were fixed in a timely fashion and at reasonable prices. Had I not gone here I may have gotten killed because of the problems I had that I was told not to worry about at a shop on 24/27 in Midland NC.Control arm and lower ball joint,sway bar,breaks,rotors and front end alignment.Plus they went above and beyond and checked all my fluids and air pressure in all tires.Definitely would recommend this shop and I will also be a forever customer here

Great little shop!We just moved here and discovered this small but well equipped shop. Reminds me of car shops in the 50s (except with computers) when they took time to get to know the customer. Had my 2006 Honda Element in for AC servicing, done in less than 45 minutes including leak testing.

These people are excellent mechanics, as well as honest people. You just dont find that any more. I brought my Toyota Sienna in due to getting poor fuel mileage, Paul quickly diagnosed the problem as the timing belt off a tooth and replaced the old tensioner at a fraction of what the dealer has charged.Hard to find, but well worth finding. I drove from Salisbury because of how highly recommended Paul and Bob were, and I am very happy I did.

I took my car here for the timing belt replacement. Paul and his wife were sooooo nice. Paul was extremely honest about what my car needed and I felt very comfortable (as a female not knowing anything about cars) bringing my car here. I researched the price for the timing belt online and he was definitely the cheapest, including labor. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I have been just about everywhere for oil changes, inspections and general auto repair but I have found my forever mechanic. Probably wont ever go anywhere else. The staff is great, Paul is very knowledgeable and they get you in and out quick with no run around or extra charges.

Paul and his staff are super friendly and professional. I went there about 6 months ago from a google search and didnt know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I plan on going to Pauls for all my automotive needs in the future.

I got my car towed there this past Thursday while I was in town on a business trip when it suddenly started to “run hot” ..Paul called me back to tell me that he ran a diagnostic on my car and that all he gathered was the the radiator top was cracked. He said he purchased a new one and replaced it..... and that my car was fine. I traveled back home (3 1/2 hours away). And my car ran hot AGAIN as soon as I pulled into my drive way.... so not only do I feel like I just waisted $120.00.... the replaced cap was “used” and not even “new looking” at all.... and he also attempted to charge me $152.00 prior to my arrival.. which would’ve been additional for him putting “antifreeze/coolant” into my vehicle..... but check this, I filled that up before I had my car towed to Paul’s automotive shop. And prior to him telling me that price he told me their were “no leaks”... so I gathered that being a lie that it was filled!!!..Because I obviously knew that I had already filled it.... once I mentioned that he instantly started to studder and state that he’ll just charge me half of the antifreeze input price... wow.. then I got there and told the young man I wasn’t paying that because it’s false. He instantly took it off for me, with no issue at all..... thankfully.... this just wasn’t the type of experience I expected to have, the previous reviews were SO GREAT, which made me feel safe towing it there.. not such a pleasant experience for me at all.... sorry I wouldn’t recommend the service.... :(

My truck was giving me all kinds of problems. They fixed the starting problem and the lights and the door handle. They can do it all. They were so helpful and kind. and they did a great job without charging me an arm and a leg. I will recommend them to all my friends.

There service is ok at best. Everytime Ive been here Ive had to wait and was always early. I was 4 minutes late for a oil change and was denied service. I took it as a honor because i was overpaying anyways to have ok service. And they spam you every month with promotional text. You shouldnt have to get you car fixed every month but if you go here you might really have to so save all those texts they send you lol. Place is a joke and if its your first time, you better come a hour early to figure out the parking.

The staff did wonderful, as always, even though they were short handed & having problems from overflow from the previous week. Pauls is the only staff I trust to work on my vehicle!

Paul fixed my wife’s AC and multiple issues on my Truck! I trust his diagnostics and recommendations. I will definitely use him again if I have a need.

My air conditioner in my truck was not working. I took it to Pauls for repair. I was told two stems were leaking and the orvisis stem was put in backwards. They made the repairs and said it was blowing cold air but I needed a new compressor. I drove 5miles and it stopped working. I called them and was told I had to buy a new compressor and install for over 500 dollars. I called a parts place a compressor was only 206. I took my truck to another location to get a 2nd opinion. I was then told my compressor was fine. That my orvisis tube was put in backwards and I had a leak in my a.c. hose. These guys are crooks

They should have checked the spark plugs and check compression before changing wires...more diagnosis would have saved me 450

About a year ago they replaced my distributor and i feel i was overcharged, paid for quality part but got a really cheap one. when i picked it up and drove it it was screwed up, had to leave it another day for them to fix right. Cheap distributor just failed and left me stranded in the middle of the night, 125 for tow truck. Bought a good distributor for half what they charged me and new timing light and did it myself. Not that difficult, dont know why that had so many problems, also when i thought they got it right it wasnt because they had timed it wrong. If you want it done right and save 400 dollars then do it yourself. Dont take it here.
