After completing diagnostics on my vehicle which I brought in due to brake light failure, I was informed of the type of work that would be required including any possibilities once process begin. Armed with that information, I decided the expense was not warranted for my older car. Honest and indepth information allowed me to come to a sound conclusion. I must mention the professional and pleasant environment of the staff and premises.

Cannot say enough **good things** about this place! 🤩 Courtesy shuttle is so convenient if you need to get to home or work while waiting on your car to be serviced. Excellent communication. Prompt service, I called ahead and they were able to take a look at my car as soon as I arrived. Extremely friendly and professional. They clearly explained and SHOWED me what is going wrong and how they plan to fix it. My car now rides smoother and safer. Thank you for all your help!

This place is a joke.When I first brought my 2008 Ford F -150 in to be looked at they said it was a star customer with no issues. 4 months later I was still going back and forth with this shop over engine and electrical issues they failed to identify after charging me $144 for a diagnostic.They were consistently late on their repairs and blamed it on their vendors. On the 4th/5th time I got a text apologizing for missing their deadline I asked to speak to a manager and they said he was busy and would call me back --- never heard from him...Its strange a group of people calling themselves professional mechanics have so much trouble repairing the most common vehicle in North Carolina.If you only need a simple repair like new brakes or an oil change they should be able to handle it, but theyll charge you double $$.For anything else Id look elsewhere.

Christian Brothers is really awesome. It’s a little more expensive than some other car places, but in this case you get what you pay for, as their customer service and work is 100x better than any other automotive shop. I really appreciate how they take the time to explain everything to you in great detail, and they are really sensitive to the frustration and emotions that come up when you have car problems. They are kind and encouraging and very communicative, and do fast work. I know it can be frustrating for some people, but I love the fact that they are closed on the weekends. It shows that the company values their employees and their families, and I think it probably makes them even more productive and quick during the week, as I have always received very fast service at CB.

Dropped my truck off on 7/1, running rough. Later same day got a call is tomorrow ok? Sure I say. Next day, our technician was injured and had to go to the er. Can you wait til Tuesday? Well cant drive it broke. I called Wednesday morning and they still havent really started on it. Later I get a text message and a call same time to tell me what it is and price. What I wanted to say was put it back together and Ill pick it up. They way overcharged for their services. $600 to change spark plugs in a f-150. Do not go there!!! Im embarrassed to tell people I paid that. Christian is just a name not a practice at that shop.

I told them that I had had a cam advance sensor problem that several mechanics over several years had not been able to fix and to just get my truck to where they could inspect it. They called and said that for ~$500, they could fix it. I got it back and the check engine light came on the next morning before I could drive it enough to reset the error code on the computer and get it inspected. I took it back, and after several days, with no contact from them, I called. They said that they couldnt fix it. They failed it for inspection, changed the date of the repair work so that it would be after the first failed inspection, then failed the inspection again, so that I could get a waiver from DMV. DMV only requires that $200 worth of work be done to get the waiver, so I wasted $300 and a week on their word that they could fix it.

Rarely have I dealt with a company whose employees go so far out of their way to treat customers with genuine respect and kindness. Furthermore, their work is marked by integrity and quality. I started with CB years ago when a friend recommended them, and when we moved across town we transferred to this branch of the franchise, which has demonstrated the same outstanding standards.Recently, this branch made an error in communicating about my car. When they discovered the mistake, they immediately apologized, then took the initiative to provide some extra, preventative maintenance on my car just to demonstrate their earnestness and positive intentions. Miscommunications will occur no matter the business, but it is extremely rare and refreshing to find a business that works this hard to maintain good faith with its customers! I am so grateful to have a trustworthy mechanic that is both skillful and honest!

All I can say is WOW! We were passing through the Concord area from Raleigh heading to South Carolina and had an emergency. They were very friendly, honest, and quickly repaired our car and got us underway for a very reasonable price. This was our first time ever using a Christian Brothers but not the last. I will be looking for one near our home to do future repairs.

So I called a day ahead and got an appointment set up for 7:30 I got here right at 7:10 thought well I’m early might as well let them know that I was here. I walked through the door and was took care of right away. Very friendly service and professional. I have been to multiple mechanic shops and they see a girl walking in oh let’s get over on her. Not this place! I have never been here and I will most definitely be back.

While the technicians were cordial, I found that I was severely overcharged for services rendered. Hours before going to work, my service engine light came on and my car began to have issues accelerating. The 305 service engine code indicated a cylinder misfire. After unsuccessfully reaching out to dealership, I contacted Christian Brothers and was told my car could be evaluated/serviced immediately. Technician advised me to have a full tune up (i.e. replace coils, spark plugs & head gasket) at a cost of $1342. Subsequent to work completion (days later), I went to Dodge & was able to speak with someone at dealership regarding the 305 service engine code. Dodge rep. informed me that a) coils didnt need to be replaced for that code; b) the dealership charge for spark plugs & head gasket replacement would have been just over $400; and, c) if coils were to have been replaced, it would have only been around an additional $200 to the $400!! Lesson learned: get a 2nd opinion & Christian Brothers extremely inflates service costs! #RipOff

RUDE, LIARS, AND ALL AROUND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Avoid this place like the plague!! In addition to taking 3 times as long as the work should have, they destroyed my drivers side door panel and refused to pay for the damage they caused. When I tried to speak with Dave, a manager, he was extremely rude and even hung up on me when I called to discuss it. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!! Definitely not worth the aggravation!!!UPDATE: I was contacted by Bryan after I left my review, who agreed to talk about my complaint and try to find a solution. In the end, I did accept a settlement. While I do appreciate the compensation, I still feel that the way certain customers are treated and the office is run is less than professional and there is definitely room for improvement. And the fact that they were okay with the way I was treated until I left a negative review makes me question their motives in reaching out to me.

Amazing service ! I went up to the shop just for a light bulb replacement and I received service from Lamont and Dave . They both we very honest and respectful. I was offered a snack whole I waited and before I knew it I was getting back up to go outside to check out my vehicle and Dave stared “alright Jamal... you’re all good to go ..” I was very shocked ... good fast and trusted service thanks guys so much .! I took my car to Christian Brothers today because it didn’t start a few days ago. I suspected I needed a new battery. The car also needed a tire balance and then finally it needed an inspection. These wonderful people brought me home while my car was being worked on, and kept me up to date on what was happening. They didn’t try and sell me a new tire or a new battery, they checked everything out then recommended I have a tire balancing and rotation. When my car was done, they came, picked me up, then took me back to my car. I’m so pleased with my experience at Christian Brothers.

Im a long time customer and I have to say that I wont be going back again after my last visit. I interacted with four employees and none of them were wearing masks nor making any effort to employ social distancing when interacting with customers. I did not see a single employee wearing a mask.Even if you dont care that its currently required by order that businesses make sure their employees are protected and are protecting others through the use of masks...Even if you dont believe they work...Even if you feel that no one has the right to force someone else to wear a mask...To choose, as a business, to not respect your customers enough to make the effort to at least appear that you care about their welfare (or the current legal requirement) for those who are taking COVID and masks seriously is unacceptable, and is not a place that I will recommend to friends and family in the future any more than I would eat at a restaurant where the cooks dont wash their hands after using the bathroom.Its a shame that such an otherwise wonderful place would be this callous in their approach to health and appearances.

First it is important to know that I normally work on my own car and that I am an automotive engineer.You should avoid this place!My first experience with them was when I came to there shop to have my cars suspension examined for a clunk noise. They inspected the suspension and noticed that one of the struts had a small leek. They recommended all 4 struts be replaced due to age 200K+ miles which is fair. The shop quoted me 3k to do the job, 2k for parts and 1k for the labor. 4 brand new OEM struts from Toyota only cost $1k which I know is not what they were going to use, also $1k for a 4hr job is unacceptable. I replaced them myself with quality aftermarket struts for $300.My second experience was with an inspection. The location failed the vehicle for a very tiny pin hole leek in the cv axle boot (wheel end). I can understand the shop failing me so that they dont get sued. But the issue is that its not right to report the failure to the state before informing the customer as I was going out of state the flowing day for a few months and now am unable to get an inspection examination because it was already reported as failed. Time for the quote to fix the car. $400+, $200 for the axle, and $200 for the labor. A quality aftermarket part is $60-100 depending on source. The labor is ok for this one.So dont go to this place for anything they will milk you for money and remember its pretty obvious to the people I know a thing or two about cars, imagine if you are a women who does not know anything about cars.

I loved everything about my recent auto repair experience at Christian Brothers!! The staff are very courteous, able to give a complete diagnostic of repairs needed and did not force me into having repairs done that can wait a bit. They treated me with great honor and respect while discussing repair options. The work took an hour of which i comfortably waited in their waiting area. The work itself is supreme! They repaired exactly what they said they would. I will be going back next month to winterize my automobile as well as for future work. Took my BMW into this shop orginally for no start issue, they couldnt fix that issue not the reason for this review though. I went on to have them replace my air compressor, which total up being 3-4 days my car was in this shop. As soon as I got home since my husband drove the car from the shop. I notice my Idrive was working, I immediately contact them to ask what could be wrong with my idrive, Dave told me it was more than likely due to some of the codes I was having that I need to take to the BMW dealship. I have NEVER had an issue with my idrive prior to taking it to this shop, so I took it back and asked them to retrace their steps to see if it was possible for them to have left something a loose which I now believe that they didnt do. They called back and said it was nothing they had done, I take it to another shop to find out they had left a fuse out, not blown but completely gone, vanished, disappeared., which logically mean that if it was due to fault of my own the Idrive would have never worked because there wasnt a fuse there..duhhhhh. Dave would not take responsiblity for hes workers screw up and argued they didnt do anything wrong andddd had the audacity to tell me hes worker said it didnt work when it came in which means I am a liar. I spent neart $1300 at this shop would common sense be to not pay $5 more dollars to have a fuse put in if I had had an issue prior to bringing my car there. I dont and would never recommend this shop to anyone. Dont be fooled by the name people, there is NOTHING Christian about this place!! Worst experience ever!!

BE AWARE! Took them over SIX hours to change my back breaks and to get an oil change that I had an appointment for! NEVER have I EVER even herd of something like this. They didnt even give me a discount. Paid over $300 for the slowest service Ive ever seen / recieved anywhere. (Also I was the only customer in the building.) Not to include that on the visit prior to this they were trying to tell me that I also needed rotors. The name and atmosphere of this establishment is completely ironic to the business they run. I could feel them genuinely listening to me and caring about my vehicle. They were ready and willing to accommodate my needs to get back to work if I needed to as well as pick me up after my service was complete. I dont even know where to start. I took my car to the dealership for 80,000 maintenance & was quoted $2,200 for a water pump replacement. I told them I would have to wait. I went straight to Christian Brothers (CB) Concord-Coddle Creek & Jerry told me a little about their services. They would gladly do a courtesy inspection of my entire car and let me know what they found. The new water pump was less than $500. They also found my filters were all dirty (remind you - I had just taken it to the dealership for maintenance the day before - I would have thought this would have been part of that). CB also found my tires needed realignment - dealership never mentioned it - also my brakes should be replace - dealership said they were fine. I travel A LOT and I have to depend on my car to be in the best shape. CB took care of EVERYTHING for $800 less than what I was quoted for JUST THE WATER PUMP. I was so impressed with the details of CB. To top it off - they washed my car inside and out and that wasnt even part of it. AMAZING GROUP OF GUYS. Health - Jerry - and Alex could not have been any more professional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group. BTW - I informed the dealership of what I found out & they said it was a computer error. Hummm - & my price on the water pump should have been $800 (thats WAY different than $2,200 and still almost twice as much as CB quoted). WOW - Cant thank CB enough.

Seeing is believing and I came in for a simple oil change and they took a full exam of my car with pictures and all and then emailed them to me. I went up expecting to spend money to diagnose a tick in my vehicle. They were unable to diagnose without getting into my valves but they went ahead and did a full inspection of my vehicle and made several recommendations based off off their findings. They sent me an email with their full findings including pictures of everything, even the colors of my fluids! I am not fully trusting of mechanics but I would trust them to do any work on my vehicle. I asked several questions about services they offer and found that they use very quality products and they have a warranty that runs 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever benefits you best. So if in 2 years you havent ran 24,000 miles, the warranty is still in effect until 24,000 miles. If you ran more than 24,000 miles in less than 2 years, your warranty is still in effect until 2 years are up. I love this place! I will be a customer for life!

The report detail after the car inspection was great. Everything was explained and rated based on importance. Everyone was nice, and the bottle of water in my car at pick up was a surprise. So many other shops have employees with attitudes and try to push unnecessary repairs on you. It was nice to deal with people that really wanted to help and that listen. The waiting room is large, clean and very comfortable, and they offer complimentary WiFi. The whole experience was relaxing vs. stressful. I was sent an estimate for a repair and I approved it. The next day, I was sent another estimate for a $6000 repair saying that we needed a new motor. So either my original problem was misdiagnosed by the technicians or they created more motor damage when fixing the first repair. We were told that we had to perform the $6000 repair because our car wasnt drivable.
