Excellent location, friendly staff and great amenities are just the beginning! The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that things that come up are resolved quickly during the few years I have been here. For example, some of my maintenance requests have been taken care of as early as the same day! Also, when I have a question or any type of concern the leasing office has always been understanding and taken care of finding a viable solution quickly. The complementary fresh brewed Starbucks coffee is another one of my favorite things about living here. I also enjoy the various community events for residents including breakfast and happy hour events. My family regularly enjoys playing in one of the two pools during the Summers. When its cool outdoors we enjoy the picnic tables, the parks and the walking on the sidewalks, all within the community.
I lived here for a year (2020-2021). Every staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout was great. The bathroom was spacious. Everything worked properly. Maintenance was quick and thorough. I had no issues while I was living there. This was the first apartment that I lived in since I moved to NC, and only after moving out, Im realizing its really difficult to find another place that matches this one.
Bexley Village at Concord Mills is a gem of a complex. While its not the newest, it does have many of the features most Charlotte/Concord residents desire. Madison did a wonderful job during my tour. She was knowledgeable, courteous, honest, and very helpful. It was one tour out of the 15 we made that really sold us on the complex. Keep in mind that the car wash advertised is coin operated instead of free, the rest of the amenities are nice, free, and available during reasonable hours. The neighbors here are very friendly. Becca is amazing. She made the move into the unit very simple and fun. She is very friendly and will go out of her way to make you feel at home here. The staff will definitely sell you on living here and for good reason. If you come to Bexley, be sure to request a meeting with Becca or Madison.
Multiple complaints to leasing office about noisy neighbors banging around from morning until evening. No resolution to the matter. So I tap on the the ceiling with broom stick and magically the noise stops. The following day I get a call from leasing office that I’m in violation. Absolutely absurd…
Yesterday I called the emergency line for maintenance my AC wasn’t working it was super hot, when I got off it was a note on the island Joe had fixed my air & he left it on for me. Thanks so much Joe.
Absurd rent hike! At lease renewal they are increasing the monthly rent by $250+ for a two bedroom (full lease). Been here several years, always paid rent on time, never had an issue with anything. I feel like they are putting the burden of those who didnt pay rent last year on other residents, and its unfair, extremely disappointing. Been a renter for years before this place, never saw a rent hike over $100. Ive really enjoyed living here, its a nice place. But its not worth what they are now asking. And certainly not worth an absurd rent hike after such a terrible year.
I moved into Bexley Village at Concord Mills near the end of May and Im glad I did. Im center to all of my daily activities, the amenities are great, and my 1bdrm apartment is huge for the price point. I looked at about 10 different apartment complexes throughout Charlotte and Bexley Village won by a landslide.
Wonderful community to live... Great service and friendly staffs...Its a great place for peaceful living. The community staffs always welcome you with a broad smile with wonderful response. The facilities are kept clean all the times. Both the rarely crowded workout rooms are open for 24//7. Two wonderful pools to relax.Friendly decent and ethical neighbours ensures peaceful and hassle free living.Safest place to live, visiting Walmart and Concord Mills mall is as simple as minutes walking. Such close by.!! You will love living in this community!!
I have been delighted with my experience this far. The area seems very nice, local to many dining and shopping options.
This apartment is really nice, and the amenities are great. Everyone Ive interacted with here has been extremely friendly and helpful! The events that are planned during each month are also a really good way to get to know other people in the building.
Nice apartment but horrible maintenance team and a very high turn over at the leasing office. Any time i need something fixed in my apartment i have to wait a days or a week for it to be fixed and 9/10 times the issue is NEVER resolved. The bulbs in my track lights blow every month. My drain in my daughters room is constantly clogged at random. The apartments are nice, the amenities are nice also, but the maintenance here is veryyyyyy irritating to deal with.
Very frustrating experience moving out. I was charged for damage that I didn’t cause. For instance, there was a tear in the flooring UNDERNEATH the washer machine that they charged me for. Please be careful when dealing with the leasing team. I’m going through the reviews seeing a common theme..document everything and don’t take for granted they have your interests in mind.
I am here for just a couple months between selling my home & moving into new construction, but I cannot say enough about the Bexley Team. I have had prompt & friendly responses to everything Ive inquired about, & things are well maintained. I feel safe. Some of the appliances are a little outdated, & parking at my building is at a premium, but this is a small price to pay to have the convenience of a very short term lease in a nice place. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Bexley to anyone looking for a rental, short or long term.
5 star for the apartment itself and the leasing staff. However beware when you move out. They are charging us $500 for the regular wear and tear in the bathtub defining as a damage. Its soap scum and hard water spots that stays even after weekly cleaning. But they define it as a damage and claimed we didnt do regular cleaning.I will post the pictures as well so everyone can see that we are not lying.Edit after the response:This wasnt my first apartment but was the last one. We moved 8 times before this and never had to pay damage charges. All of a sudden, we dont do regular cleaning. We were just told by the management that its damage and you didnt perform regular cleaning. I have emails to show the proof.Well, Images speak better than words. Most of the people will see these attached images and can be aware of what might be coming for them. This isnt damage.
I loved living at Bexley Village! The staff was always so helpful and welcoming. The apartments are beautifully designed and conveniently located. Maintenance is speedy and friendly too. Bexley Village has been one of my favorite apartments Ive lived in, and would recommend it to anyone!
I liked my apartment and would have stayed longer if it wasn’t so noisy. The flooring really needs to be sound proofed. It’s terrible to make timely rent payments, but you can’t really enjoy peace and quiet.
Moving into Bexley Village has been one of the best decisions Ive made. The staff has been communicating effectively since the day I came in for a tour of the property. Ever since, my experience has been enjoyable thus far. Living near shopping, plenty of restaurants, etc, moving here will be a great decision for anyone!
Excellent community! Great accessibility to i85, i485 and a ton of shops around - u name it, u get it.. Leasing consultants and maintenance crew are friendly.. They deserve a 5* for their customer facing skills and helping tendency!
Apparently you must leave a 60 day notice before your lease is up if you intend to not renew it. If they cannot find a new tenant then you are responsible for two months rent. Our lease renewal was only for 90 days. It is unrealistic to expect all of your tenants to know that far in advance that they do not intend to renew their lease.
Beautiful Apartments and SPECTRUM is directly across the way at ENTRY 5, beside Bass Pro Shops for Cable and Internet!!
First I would say, try other apartments and make this one your last result. Make sure you get everything in writing also record the conversations you have with them. TRUST ME!
Poor handling of COVID response and continual shutdown of amenities with no rent adjustment, even in Phase 3. Dont spend extra here for the amenities...because you wont be able to use them! Apartments are nice. But you can find similar and pay much less because other communities dont offer the pools/fitness rooms/car wash etc. When COVID hit, Bexley sent out a rather rude e-mail stating that residents could apply for rent deferment if their income was affected, but that they should really consider how applying for such would impact other residents, insinuating that Bexley would then struggle to pay their employees and vendors (who, were hardly working during this time anyway because they closed the office and shut down amenities...) Why make someone who lost a job due to a pandemic feel guilty like that? Bexley shutdown all amenities (even the outdoor grills and the car wash thats basically just a hose!!!) for months without adjusting rent prices. When they re-opened outdoor amenities, they placed crowd restrictions on all (understandable), but kept the saltwater pool closed...with no explanation. When they finally opened up all amenities, they opened their saltwater pool, but closed the main pool for repairs for weeks. They finally opened one fitness room, but the other has been closed for at least three weeks now due to problems with the AC...shouldnt take three weeks? So its rare that we can use the fitness room due to crowd restrictions. Its frustrating to have leased here under the impression we could use everything this place has to offer. I would have much preferred to spend less and live elsewhere had I known they dont care about keeping the amenities fit for use.
I recently moved here from out of state and I love it. I choose this complex because of all the amenities and the location. The leasing staff is always friendly and made the move in process easy!
I love my apartment the grounds are kept clean every day someone changes the trash from the dogs so theres no smell if I need something done they are on it l love that we have two club houses you can walk around at night and its safe and quiet every one at the office always greets me with a smile Im happy that we found this place. And I would give this place a 10 out of 10
I moved to this location as I transitioned into the area and only planned on staying a few months but ended up loving it so I stayed. The location is amazing and the community is well kept. They just pressure washed my buildings breeze way area and did such a great job. Great place to live!!
I have put in many noise complaints and had tenants come into my apartment and listen to all the noise we have to deal with yet nothing has changed. As I type this my entire apartment is shaking from someone bass in there speaker literally my toilet water is rippling but nobody has done anything to fix this I would not recommend
Found this place while driving by the mall and we decided to quit staying in hotels for business and get a place here. We own a home and have never lived in apartment setting ever and we have to say we love it! The staff is amazing. Anytime we have a question they are ever so pleased to help us right away. If we send an email we get one back in a promptly manner. The apartment complex is definitely luxury living. The pool areas are so nice and they stay pretty quiet even with children playing. Everything is so clean here and the great plus is its smoke free!Maintenance is so quick to fix any issue and are so polite when they come into your home.Living here is awesome. It has everything you could imagine. The floor plans are nice and spacious and everything is updated and or new! This is to me the perfect place to live carefree!
Bexley Village is a Beautiful Community, conveniently situated and the staff is Incredible. I could not have ask for a better experience. The Property Manager, Jeremy, is the best! He was so helpful and really cared about my wants and needs. Coming from someone who works in customer service, I know just how hard it can be. The office staff as a whole is extremely professional, knowledgeable about the community as well as the area and truly care about their residents. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking to move to the Concord area. You will not be disappointed!
Ive been here since August 2013. My wife and I love it here. This community is always clean. Ive hardly seen stray animals roaming through the community. Its safe here. Like REALLY safe here. I love that this community is close proximity to pretty much everything you could want to be close to. Maintenance fixes your problems within 24 hours of you reporting...more like 12. The leasing consultants and other Bexley Village staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the nicest apartment complex Ive ever lived in. My son is two, so he cant go to school yet, but I hear that the nearby schools are top notch. Theres a daycare less than one minute away that is very good for little ones. If there are any issues/concerns you have, the staff takes care of them in a very timely manner. To keep it simple, this is a very great place to live.
The House was great loved everything, Only one problem many kids get in trouble for staying in the clubhouses without a adult, or someone thats older than 16. The pool table, and cues are sometimes broken, and lastly the pool is really good, the park is also a good place to hangout, and There is a lot of dog poop the owners dont clean from the floor. I recommend this place to everyone.
Went and toured this property last week and I was BLOWN away! The staff was so kind and courteous to us and took a lot of time to show us both sets of amenities on property and a beautiful 2 bedroom unit. My favorite thing about this property is that it is a tucked away paradise with so much shopping, eating, and fun located minutes away. The upgrades are awesome and I love the amount of cabinet and counter space in the kitchen and the island in EVERY unit is incredible! Im not looking to move for a few months, but I am hoping they will have something in my time frame when I am ready!
Bexley Village at Concord Mills is an amazing place to call home! The community is very trendy, welcoming and perfectly situated in a great location. We recently decided to downsize from our 5 bedroom house to the relaxed, convenient lifestyle of an apartment. We are thrilled with our decision! Every time we return to our community, we smile because we know that Bexley Village at Concord Mills is the perfect place for our family. We feel like we live at a vacation resort! Additionally, the staff and facilities management are awesome!!! This is definitely a wonderful apartment community!
Beautiful place love them
We have been staying in Bexeley Village apartments at Concord Mills for about a year now and we have decided to extend our lease for another year. The community is excellent and one of the best in the area. The staff at leasing office is super friendly and always willing to help you with a smile. They always go extra mile to organize community events. Even the maintenance staff is very professional and very prompt in responding to our issues. The community is very clean and safe for families and residents of all kinds. With all the amenities, parks, lake in the community, excellent gym and pool (2 of each ), proximity to the mall, restaurants, movie theatre and major highways and super affordable rent prices..I would strongly recommend this community to all.
BEWARE.. do not rent from this company or come to these apartment. Of course when we first came everything looked nice like they want it to.. but it just goes down hill from there. We had a 12 month lease here and we wanted to get out after 6 months. People around here blast their music until 2am, there was never any parking near our apartment after 9pm so you have to park far away. But that’s not even the worst problem. The problem is the people in the office. They are not on the same page with anything. They called us exactly 30 days before our lease was up so the minute they called us we went down to the office to sign our moving out form. We needed three signatures but we only had two people because the other was on vacation. The lady said that’s fine I’ll make a copy of this paper and just have him sign this before you guys move out. We got all the signatures needed and when we went to hand it in they said we needed to pay two more months of rent even though our move out date is a week away! We will not be living here after July but they are going to make us pay all the way up until September even though we will not have the keys and will not be living here. This place is a scam, and all they want is your money. They don’t care about you and they are not on the same page. STAY AWAY!!
Bexley is a fabulous place to live! The grounds are well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, and there are so many amenities included. Rent isnt cheap, but considering location, two pools, two recently remodeled fitness centers, a walking trail, free parking, etc. it is a great price. The one time I had an issue with a noisy neighbor the office handled it right away! Main road is crowded during sales at the mall or race weekend at the track, but it comes with the territory. Love living here and plan on staying!
The neighborhood is fine. Parking is a nightmare after 5pm. If nothing goes wrong, it will work out. If you are late by 10 minutes with your rent though, prepare to pay. This weekend, I had to deal with family in Charleston, SC and their house flooding out. I have been a resident for 3 years but because I didnt get back to turn in my check until today (10/6), they want their $100 late fee. No matter that I have never been late before. Thank you for your excellent customer service Bexley Village people. Glad to see their priorities are straight. Money first. Compassion never. I cant wait until your next lease comes to me with another mandatory 5% increase.
I opted to move out of uptown Charlotte in hopes of finding a place near a lot of shopping and much cheaper for very similar luxuries that I had while living in uptown Charlotte. Bexley Villages was a great decision for sure and Id recommend this place to anyone. Ive lived here for two weeks now and I enjoy it. The staff is professional and pretty comical. When you walk into the office you get a great vibe from them. My apartment on move-in day (very rare for me) was so move-in ready that I had NOTHING negative to write on the inspection form. Needed a few light bulbs changed today and Chris came to my apartment quickly and was great to talk to. Seriously, great property, location, grounds, staff, rates-- Id recommend everyone to live here. It is definitely worth the 22 minute drive every day to my office in uptown.
Amazing!! Could not have had a better experience. Our first initial tour was wonderful and the leasing agents were all very helpful with the move in process and answering my many questions lol. The unit was just as described and gets better every day. Glad to call this community home.
A great environment to live in and definitely luxury apartments. Highly recommend it for dog lovers and fitness enthusiasts. Both gyms are well equipped and the running trails are close by on the property. Location is perfect for those wanting to live close to downtown Charlotte but not in the city. Tons to do surrounding the property as well. The staff is extremely helpful and always putting the residents and future residents as their first priority.
Ive lived here for almost a year now and have had no real issues. Any time I need maintenance to do something, they respond within a day. The pools and grounds are very well maintained. The front office staff is also very nice. The location is close to Charlotte without the expense. Great location near a lot of great things.
Lived here for several months December, 2017 through March, 2018 after relocating from another state and waiting for the building of our home to be completed. Though reaching management by phone was often quite difficult, I was always treated with kindness and respect by everyone who worked for the company when face-to-face. The location was excellent --- near multiple grocery stores and excellent restaurants and couldnt be beat for its easy access to I-85. My gas mileage was incredible because my miles were ALL highway! If you like to shop, you can pretty much walk across the to street to Concord Mills Outlet and skip the parking lot. The apartment was exactly as advertised and certainly served its purpose. The grounds were nice and, though I didnt use many of the amenities, they were there had I chosen to do so. Also, the ability to rent two garage-sized storage rooms on location at reasonable rates made this an excellent value for my situation. Short-term, flexible leases was also another plus.
I recently visited this apartment community with a family member who was looking to relocate to the Charlotte area. All of the staff in the leasing office was very warm and inviting. I was amazed at the beautiful landscaping and the overall appearance of the community. This is in a convient location and offers so many options. My sister loved the community and will be looking to move here in the fall. Thank you Bexley Village for helping us choose this to call her future home.
So far the best part about living here is the walking trail. If you have dogs its easy to want to walk them when the complex is such a calming place to be.
We are current residents and moved in a few weeks ago. We moved from out of state and the whole process with Bexley Village was seamless. The leasing staff was always available to answer any questions or confirm everything for me. We love the apartment too! It was freshly painted and clean and we havent had any issues. The community is right by the mall and everything that it comes with - everything is within a 5 minute drive. Im so glad we picked Bexley Village as a way to be introduced to NC!
I lived here for 3 years and love it. Staff is nice and when things need fixed it is done within 2 days. They also have 2 nice gyms to choose from.
I moved in sight unseen and I was so relieved when I saw the place. I never had any problems while living there. It was very clean! Everyone at the leasing office is amazing. Valerie was a huge help the entire time we lived there. The leasing office and maintenance workers were wonderful. They always fixed everything in a very timely manner. I had to move due to the location from my job but I have not found the service offered by Bexley Village at Concord Mills anywhere else. When I moved out there were no charges for anything in the apartment. If you are thinking of moving here, I would highly recommend it.
I moved in here four years ago, and fell in love with it immediately. It truly feels like home! The apartments are large and spacious, with huge kitchens, and you can park your car close by. There are so many choices of restaurants and entertainment options close by. When I dont have plans, Ill often just go to a movie at concord mills, which literally feels like having a movie theatre in your backyard! We also have our choice of two pools, and there are several different routes you can walk or run. A lot of people here have dogs, but you never hear them. The apartments are almost soundproof, and all I ever hear is the occasional creaking floor, running bath, or laundry from someone elses apartment. I have almost never heard conversations, music, or other unwanted noise! I had super loud tenants above me once, and I didnt file a complaint, but I guess someone did because they stayed a very short time. The only complaint I have is that it seems like rent goes up a lot every year, and I dont feel like Im getting a hundred more dollars a month worth of things than I did when I moved in. I know a lot of it has to do with supply/demand, but I sort of thought that the addition of many more nice complexes to the area might drive the rent increase down. Still, that is the only thing thats negative at all. This place is home, and I would recommend it to anyone!
Jasmine Blacknall was very informative on our tour! She wasnt pushy and answered all of our questions honestly. We look forward to working with her during our leasing/application process.
This is an AMAZING community, the staff in particular do a phenomenal job at maintaining the property and ensuring the residents are pleased. I would recommend this property any day. Convenient location and great amenities.
I am very familiar with Bexley properties managed by Weinstein, and I am shopping around the Concord area. I must say I was very impressed with Bexley Village and the office staff for helping me in my search over the holiday season. Both phases are well kept, and both apartment styles were favorable in my opinion, especially the closet spaces. I am considering two different communities for a spring move, and Bexley Village will remain at the top of the list! Thank you for your time
Do NOT rent here. At move out you will get hit up for damages - my personal favorite is bathtub resurfacing using a photo that could be from any bathroom in the complex. They wait until after you move out versus doing a walk through. Dont let the pretty pictures fool you! The local staff is nice but its obvious that as a corporation they have chosen to bump revenue by hidden fees and jacking your rent up at time of renewal way over market rate.
There’s nothing “luxury” about the disgustingly dirty breezeways. I had a friend visiting me for the first time at this community a couple of weeks ago and I’ll admit that I was a bit embarrassed walking to my front door with them at how unkempt the breezeway looked. I find it interesting that potential renters aren’t put off by it, honestly. Additionally, there is a resident in my building with a dog or dogs that leaves poop bags piled up by the entrance. Point is, as wonderfully nice as the staff is (and they are very nice, both office and maintenance), and as appeasing as they try to be, the breezeways clearly aren’t being looked after properly if piles of bags with animal feces go unnoticed.Your rent will significantly climb year-after-year, as is my experience. After chatting with my neighbor, I relate the below:My neighbor has a cat that he had to pay a pretty steep non-refundable deposit that’s not applied to any damage caused, should it occur. As if owning a pet wasn’t expensive enough, this community charges just for your pet’s right to breathe. He’s also paying monthly pet rent so that people with DOGS can enjoy the amenities of the community, such as the dog wash, dog park, and, of course... using the breezeway as a pet waste reciptical.By way of endorsement, I’ll say that there are likely communities much worse than this one.
I had a great experience getting my first apartment with Bexley. Jess helped me so much with everything I needed and all the random questions I had. The whole staff made everything very inviting and easy to take care of. I highly recommend Bexley at concord mills!
Truly comfortable living. Spacious apartments & super friendly & understanding staff!
Great leasing staff! They really take time with you and show off everything great the complex has to offer! The complex itself is very clean and quiet! Great location too!
Love living here! The apartments are well kept along with the amenities. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. Jalyse is always friendly and willing to help any way she can.
For months I had been looking online at Bexlet Village. Finally when I was in town a few weeks ago, I scheduled a visit, and I was not disappointed. The smoke free grounds are meticulously kept; and the apartments are spacious and simply beautiful. Everyone has been extremely helpful, pleasant and very accommodating, always answering my emails and any questions or concerns I had. They have made this a very pleasurable experience. I anxiously look forward to moving down in the coming months and I know I will not be disappointed.
I used to absolutely love living here. I couldnt wait to get back to my apartment and feel at home. The people were nice, the dogs that live here are awesome, and I felt so cozy.My fiancé and I were evicted for something we had absolutely nothing to do with. We even had a state trooper call our apartment complex and let them know we were not at fault. Not anything to go into detail with, but we did absolutely nothing wrong. I am a woman who is honest and has integrity, so I would never leave a negative review if I was at fault or didnt feel this strongly. We were super quiet when we lived here, and we had great relationships with our neighbors! We had two noise complaints sent to our apartment when we were OUT OF THE STATE. but when we explained this, we got brushed off on the phone. Its honestly just the management. They have ZERO compassion, understanding, or care for you. They could care less what actually happened or what your situation is, as long as their $$ is collected.I fell in love with this place the second we signed the lease, but quickly fell out of love due to the poor management and lack of respect they have for their residents. The maintenance guys ROCK! I dont know how they are so nice, kudos to them for their kindness and professionalism. If you want to live somewhere pretty, with friendly neighbors, and a ton of food places to choose from, this is your spot! But if you do anything besides work all day and then go straight to sleep in your apartment, prepare for some sort of complaint or fee.I was devastated to leave this apartment complex at first because it was the first place I actually made a new home. But as I saw the lack of care from the management, I couldnt wait to leave. Just be careful with every move you make and you should be fine. Its a beautiful complex with a lot to offer. But dont expect the people who work there to give you any kindness or care about any sort of situation youre in.
I lived at bexley village for two years and had a overall decent experience! I love the location and I also own a dog so the walking trails they have are awesome to use when I would take him on walks! When living here I hardly had any maintenance issues but if I did they were always handled quickly and professionally. The workers in the office were always friendly and willing to help if they could!! I know every complex isn’t perfect but I lived in the 1200 building which is considered the older side since it was built first. I’m not sure if it’s because my building was the furthest from the leasing office but the breezeway and stair cases were always littered with trash (for example: mud, ashes, food wrappers, empty bottles, and even eaten chicken bones). Residents would leave their trash bags outside their doors for days even after contacting the leasing office about it. One time I was very disappointed because there was broken glass on my staircase that had occurred over the weekend (I called about it saturday morning). I pay monthly for my dog to be in the unit and was concerned about the safety of my dog and his paws with the glass as I take him outside and down the staircase. I contacted the leasing office and asked if they could get it cleaned up. I was very disappointed when the lady at the leasing office responded that broken glass on a stairwell wasn’t a maintenance emergency and they would come monday morning and clean it up “during their rounds”. How is broken glass not a safety issue for your residents even when you advertise as a dog friendly complex? She then told me she would contact the property manager but I guess broken glass was not a maintenance emergency “enough” for them either because the broken glass was not cleaned up until Monday afternoon. I personally had to approach a maintenance individual who was passing by in a golf cart and ask him kindly to clean it up (so did she even put in a work order when I called saturday morning?) I know all complex’s aren’t perfect like I stated before but that situation never sat right with me since glass remained all weekend on the staircase. If i’m paying 1300 a month for a single unit I should not have to clean broken glass off a stair case that wasn’t even my fault when you have people employed that are on call to take care of things like that. If you want to live here I suggest a unit on the “newer” side closer to the leasing office those are cleaner and have more parking available!
Bexley Village is an AWESOME community where you can work, live, play and enjoy life. The high spirited office staff is always there if needed for any problems that may occur onsite. The professional maintenance staff is always visible and on the move ensuring work orders, common areas and amenities are handled with great care and efficiency. Thanks Jeremy and Buddy for always having a highly motivated well trained staff on board with the CAN DO attitudes to make life at Bexley Village a nice breeze.
What an awesome experience. I haven’t lived in an apartment type environment for over 27 1/2 years until October 2016, and I am sad that I am moving. With the exception of a disrespectful neighbor above me, this is a great place to live. The staff are a bunch of beautiful people, but I love Nick more; such a respectful young man. Maintainence is always “Johnnie on the Spot.” If I have the opportunity to move back to North Carolina, this is the first place I will seek out.
Im now editing my review from one month ago from five stars to one star now that I have moved in I have found that these people are extremely difficult to work with. I hope if you move in you never have any type of problem because youre going to have to do with it until you leave the place. Lawn care workers starting work at 6 a.m. throwing wood chips on to your first floor window. This was my first month there and I went to pay my first months rent I had no idea that there was a drop box. things were not explained to me and I came in to pay and they definitely want their late fee.
I definitely recommend Bexley village as a place for anyone to live. The staff is super helpful to any needs and the environment and upkeep up the community is like no other. Definitely recommend living here to anyone looking for a nice, modern, pet friendly place to live.
This place is so draining & declining rapidly. There is no way the tenants are being properly screened because we should not have as many problems in this community as we do. Car break ins, apartment break ins (you can view all of the reports on the CPD website), & noise complaints are never resolved by the staff so police are called out often by different residents. Emergency maintenance doesn’t return calls & the one time that they actually answered my call, they said they were on the way & never showed up.It’s just not worth it.
The office and maintenance staff are all very good. The property is really well kept and I love all of the things they have for you to do. My favorite is the dog washing area!! Great place to call home.
I have recently moved in and it has been a wonderful experience. The leasing staff is very helpful and the maintenance guys are quick and efficient. I havent had any major issues but I can rest assured that if I every do, the staff at Bexley Village will help in anyway they can.
I’ve been living here for one year and it’s been a great experience!
I was here for two years and recently moved out in May to be closer to work. The amenities were nice and everyone was friendly, but the traffic around Concord Mills is a nightmare not to mention the commute to work. If you work in the area, this place isnt bad. There are definitely places closer to Charlotte that have comparable prices (Elizabeth, Plaza Mid-Wood) and those neighborhoods are much nicer!
I had a wonderful experience touring these apartments. Everything seems to be very clean and organized. The staff was wonderful. Jess was very helpful and provided us with all the answers we needed.
Bexley Village at Concord Mills has provided a first class living experience. From the moment I walked in the office to look at apartments, the staff has been wonderful to work with. The facilities are first class and the amenities second to none. Its a great place to call home and I have had nothing but good experiences since moving in. I would recommend Bexley Village at Concord Mills to anyone looking for a nice, quite place to live that provides all the perks at a great rate.
Oct 2019 - Jeremy has been in touch and was keen to help us identify an apartment. Am glad the management is eager to fix issues and get to the root of the problem. Am changing the rating to 3 not 5 because clients expect good customer experience the first time.Sept 2019 - Very rude and disinterested commumity managers. No sense of customer service at all. We went there to check on an available apartment and this attendent said not available and started to do her work without even asking if you want to consider another apartment. Please send them for some manners and customer service training.
Peaceful community. And in very convenient location. The residents can be snobbs at times. But friendly for the most part.
Great location - Right around the corner from Concord Mills Mall, Wal-Mart, Great Wolf Lodge, and more. I work uptown and there is easy access to the interstate. Big apartment, great clubhouse, kitchen, 2 generous bedrooms and friendly staff!
The breezeways in this community are really dirty and are in dire need of a power washing. Grease and dirt line the ground and stairways, ceilings are filled with dead bugs and webs, and this is before the spider season is truly underway.PS: I’ve officially logged maintenance requests about this and talked about it with the leasing office several times, nothing happens.
I enjoy everything about this complex, however I did not realize until I got a phone call that residents are not allowed to smoke on their own balconies or their lease could be terminated. This is information that is not shared before signing the lease. People who enjoy smoking on their balconies should not live here.
Just moved into the apartments recently. Beautiful area, great location, the amenities are great and the apartments are kept pristine! Would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment. The leasing office can help with any questions or concerns that you may have. My consultant (Kyle) was great! She helped me with getting everything squared away every step of the way and answered any questions that I had. All around a great place!
Friendly staff and very beautiful community!
I moved out just before Christmas time and I still had presents coming for my children in the mail. When you move your supposed to give them all keys to the apartment including to the mailbox. So, i couldn’t get my packages. Now, I kindly asked if they could ship them to my new address but they refused. I’m livid. My children didn’t get the presents they wanted because of y’all. Terrible place to live, and terrible administration. I highly suggest that you DONT move into this place. These people are unbelievable!
My Husband and I decided to downsize until we find our forever home and this was the BEST choice for us. This place has the resort style that we had in mind and the client service is impeccable....Tiffany B was with us from beginning til the end. She was patient with 2 people who know NOTHING about apartment life but she walked us right thru it and never left us wondering. We dont plan on being here too long but while we are, this is the place to be!!
DO NOT RENT HEREI was abused by my roommates and when I presented the situation to the leasing office, they told me to get a protective to be removed from the lease. I got that protective order and theyve refused to remove me. Theyre so obsessed with getting their monthly paycheck that they dont care about the actual well being of their tenants.Hands down worst experience of my entire life.Do not subject yourself to the horror that is the apartment complex. Live somewhere else.
Belxey Village is such a beautiful property. The various amenities (i.e fitness room, pool, fire pit) are just what I need to wind down on the weekdays and relax on the weekends. The office staff is always willing to help in any capacity and they are always very welcoming when you greet them no matter the time of day. The apartments are spacious and the interior amenities (i.e washer, dryer, & microwave) are amazing add ons. You definitely get what you pay for and not detail less.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Heres why:1). The property manager as well as the female that work at the front desk (excluding the young ladies at the front left and right of the office), specifically the female that has her own little office in the front are so incredibly rude and snobby and when I spoke to her, she consistently cut me off and never shut up to even listen to my issues or what was coming out of my mouth. I requested to speak to the property manager MULTIPLE times and he was either busy or on vacation. I never have once seen him in the office. the only time my boyfriend and I spoke to him was when his told my boyfriend and I that we had to leave the complex.2). I had to put in a maintenance request MULTIPLE times for simple things like light bulbs and stuck doors before they ever showed up and the leasing office continuously tries to be sneaky by sending in maintenance people bright and early in the morning to do routine maintenance checks which is only supposed to be annually. My boyfriend moved into those apartments in November and I moved in around the end of February with him and I promise you we had our annual maintenance check like 4 times since I had moved in.3). They have an online system for paying rent which was extremely convenient, until my boyfriend and i started to notice EXTRA CHARGES THAT WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF. For instance we are on the third level so yes I can imagine if we had a noise complaint or two, but the leasing office charged us for a noise complaint fee (which I have never even heard of) for $60. We never heard anything from the leasing office saying we had a noise complaint EVER nor did we receive any type of notification. Its shady, because they assume no one checks the bill when they add these little fees, but I did and almost every time I checked my bill, there was another charge we had to pay that made no sense or we had no clue about or even relation to. It makes me think how much extra money we have given them since before I noticed this.4). The apartments over all are okay. They are spacious and the pools are nice, but in the smaller pool that is connected to the second clubhouse, apparently has an employee they hired to sit and watch EVERYONE AT THE POOL. He is a new addition to the amenities I have to give another thumbs down too. I have had multiple interactions with him. my boyfriend and I are Spanish and he is African american. We were having a pool day and a friend of mine joined my boyfriend and I. Many people were there, including couples and people taking pictures and kids jumping and running and playing and he said NOTHING to anyone else, but got up and walked all the way to the corner my boyfriend and I were sitting to come complain to us about our PDA. Granted I kissed my boyfriend on the head and his lips like any couple and we were sitting with our drinks and my legs were over his and we were just conversing. He proceeded to call us disgusting and complaining that other guest were upset we were basically having sex in the pool. We just laughed and my boyfriend said please leave us alone man, we get it, youre bothered. He refused to leave us alone in our area and kept saying to take that sh*t to your apartment etc. We ignored him and minded our business. Many of our neighbors including some of the teens and children that witnessed the clown act the pool employee made of himself told us we have nothing to worry about and no one was bothered and to just not let him get to us, because i was extremely upset with his rudeness and aggressiveness and it was completely inappropriate on his part. My boyfriend and I are just utterly unhappy with the little amount of time we spent here. They cut our lease short and I could not be happier about it and please read other reviews because they speak for themselves. Please be careful applying or getting into any type of lease agreement with these apartments. A better alternative is the Bexely Square Apartments, its the same company and the same area, but better employees and management.
The property is good, conveniently located but the property management ppl are not really helpful. Better to have everything in written instead of talking to them. Customer Trust is the big issue with the new management here at Bexley village. NOT so worth it if you are looking for help from management on general issues.
Bexley Village has a great location in Concord Mills and easy application process. Staff was very helpful with me and I look forward to using both pools this summer.
Although I have had my differences with some of the staff in the past, I have grown to truly appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of a young man named Nick Weisz. He has always went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed and he always does it with a smile. I truly appreciate all of your help Nick!
Property manager will never call you back. Called about a noise compliment 17 times loud music between 12am till 5am 5 days a week gave up had to get the doctors to give me medicine to stay asleep so I dont hear it anymore. When you move in the say its a 24/7 quite aera. They have people now the lawn at 8am 3 out of 5 days of the week so if you work overnight good luck sleeping. People at the office arnt on the same page and will tell you different things and cut you off and give you attitude just for a simple question. The only reason its a 1 stat is cause the matience guy is the only good thing they have going for them. When you move out youll find random charges and all the say when you ask about them theyll just say sorry about the unfortunate event.
I really have only good things to say about the Property and my Apartment. It is upscale so they charge a bit more than I would like but its location is great and quiet.
Worst possible management team to be taking care of apartments and tenants, completely incompetent
Great move-in experience! Thanks, LaShasta and Jessica!
We stayed in Bexley Village for around 2 years and enjoyed the stay..Office and Maintainace staff is very friendly and quick in their work.. nice and clean community. Big apartments and worderful amenities.. Thank you Bexley😊
Update: They were very helpful in resolving this issue with us, and it was greatly appreciated. I suspect, or at least am hopeful, that in the future situations like ours will be handled with more compassion. We have always paid our rent on time, and this month my boyfriend put the rent in the drop box at about 5 or 6 pm on the night it was due. While this was cutting it close, it was on time. I get an email saying I have a late fee of $50. We call the office to get full understanding of why it is late. The manager we spoke to was beyond hostile. She stated that she saw him turn the check in late. No office overlooks the drop box, and there is not camera, and I doubt she know what each and every resident looks like. She was rude and demanding on the phone. We decided to pay the late fee and give them the chance to be decent, and when we paid it, we requested that they attend to all the issues around our apartment, that wed requested months prior. I sent these requests through email 3 times. The dog park has no door on it, and it hasnt for MONTHS. They stated that they didnt know it was broken because no one reported it. Im sorry, but it is not my responsibility to maintain your establishment. That is absurd. The maintenance man drives past it daily, and they definitely knew. We have debris and spider webs all over the outside of our front door. Still nothing has been done about these things. I have not received ANY response to my concerns. If you move here, expect to be held to very high standards with nothing in return.
Visited family living here and I found the property to be quiet and the residents friendly
I would have to say that today was one of the most amazing experiences I have had when it comes to customer service. I am very particular about my customer service experience and from the initial phone call I was greeted with a friendly voice. Stedman Harbison greeted me with friendly information and was very accurate. We went over all the amenities of the complex and I was very pleased with the professionalism. I am currently thinking about moving to the concord mills area and I am confident that this is the place, I want to live.
Im going on my second year as a resident here . the staff is great and i have a lot of great neighbors. i enjoy al the amenities. the staff is very helpful and the maintenance crew is always on top of everything . the staff makes sure you are always happy and they look out for your best interest. they have a great fitness center and great dog park, they even have a dog wash, and a choice of a fresh water pool or a salt water pool. I feel sometimes that i am in a resort instead of apts. Im very happy here and will continue to live here for a long time.
Our favorite place to dine n shop. Good offers n decent
Never again would i live here. The staff is awful to deal with. If you like the DMV, you will love this place.
I enjoy the location of my apartment, the staff is friendly and nice BUT I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE the parking situation. There should be a designated parking space per apartment. I work late nights and I have to park at the pool near clubhouse. That is ridiculous and unsafe. Also, its to be non-smoking apartments and the neighbor upstairs I KNOW is constantly going to the patio to smoke AND they are LOUDLY playing their surround sound music and TV. I have reported it, but it continues.
Jessica at our leasing office is amazing not only does she takes personal accountability for the problem I was having when her colleague brushed my concerns and situation aside. Thank you Jessica for taking care of the problem I had with my lease renewal!!!SignW.S
Lived here 4 yrs and love it. I feel safe and secure. Maintenance team is great.
