Nicholas Dowell came promptly at 12:00 pm to clean our L-shaped sofa that I received from a family member. Nicholas wasnt only professional, but was thorough and efficient in cleaning our upholstery. Our sofa now looks brand-spanking new. He was also very nice to give us inputs on how to maintain the clean state of our sofa. Super simple to book. The professional was at my home when he said he would be, was very professional and didn’t leave without me checking the cleaned area and giving the thumbs up!! Thank you to Stanley Steemer for their response based on my first review. Originally I was extremely dissatisfied with the overall job of the original tech, although he was very pleasant. Our spots remained in the carpet. Within minutes of completing a review and a text complaint, I was called by management to understand our concerns and to send out another crew first thing the next morning free of charge to correct the issues. Thank you for listening to your customers and doing your best to make it right.

My carpet don’t look that much different. The person who came was very nice and professional but I just wish he spent a longer time cleaning my carpet. He told me it was wear and tear on my carpet and It was nothing he could do about some of the darkness but he was so fast so I’m not sure if I believe this. Fantastic service, fast and did a great job. I had to reschedule my appointment due to work and they were very understand and got me another appointment the very next day.

Very unsatisfactory service. The technician first of all didn’t put the hose for the dirty water in the sewer drain they put it in my bushes. Secondly the carpets were over cleaned left hell of excess water in it after cleaning which left a musty spell after the first 8 hours had to open all the windows. Never racked the carpet to open the fibers. Ps deodorizer didn’t even help we wanted the house to smell nice for the showing. Had to buy scented plug ins cause the smell wouldn’t go away. And tech legit told my wife that they don’t prevac the carpets before steam cleaning. That we could vacuum after? Like fr?? I called for a redo which was scheduled today 9 am to 1 window. Second tech showed up and instead of redoing the order they decided to agrue with me further saying “hey what do u want me to do vacuum up carpet with no water in it?”” After I explained to him that I wasn’t satisfied with the first cleaning I wanted it redone. There isn’t a musty smell anymore! He said which I replied well ya this was done the 2d? And they didn’t wanna rebook a redo untilThe 12th 😑 it’s the 12th and the tech that showed up didn’t do any redo didn’t listen to what asked him to do which was to redo the whole order. And told me I had to repay them to redo it. Even thou there is. 10 day satisfaction guarantee... Spoke with 5 people over the phone as well as was told scheduling would call me yet . Never got a call. I work 6 days a week and took my only day off sitting at the house we put on the market to sell with these smelly carpets due to poor work. And the tech has to nerve to tellMe “ok I’m out and drives off”. After arguing with me for having to redo the poor work that was done. Ps I waited 3 hours at the house waiting for no call. From dispatch scheduler, manager or customer support never called. Will never use again 0 Stars.. asked for a refund

Cleaned tile and grout in 2baths, kitchen and tiny entry. Tiles look great. The job took 40 minutes and I was charged $260.The two guys were professional and polite.

I was unhappy with the first service because they had a trainee but because they warrant their work they came back out and did it right i asked for an Experienced person this time. Happy Customer!

Stanley Steemers is infamous for their commercial and this was the first time using their services.Could have easily booked an appointment for day of but opted for the following day. Way to expensive charge more than National Carpet cleaners. Not happy especially during the pandemic they should be offering a special. We will never use them again. We where in the military and my father is 94 years old the technician knew this plain as day that we have an old person in the house. Yet never offered discounts just took full advantage of us.

We had a fantastic experience with our local Stanley Steemer in Martinez Ca. The techs were on time, professional, and did a super thorough job of cleaning our disgusting couch. They cleared away years of dog funk and other unspeakable things that had been rained upon our extra long sectional in the past. They took the couch apart, cleaned every cushion (we have 14 total including two extra large chaise lounges on the ends), and got out stains and spots we thought were there for life. They worked quickly but did a really thorough job, answered all my questions, and were really kind to my three kids running around fascinated. We are really happy with the service, speed at getting an appointment, reminders sent by the company so I didn’t forget and my beautiful good as new couch! Five stars! Thank you!

I feel they could of put a little more effort into cleaning the heavy soil area..they left white spots on carpet..ot didnt even look like they did hall way..I wont be using there service again

They were on time and quick, but cut some corners.I mentioned that in the past they had put little lifts under my furniture and he said he could reach under my table with the cleaner. That made sense and he did a great job in the dining room.However, thet didnt raise couch onto blocks to clean underneath it and let dry. My couch in the living room only got cleaned around, and boy does it show! Just went to move it back into place, and it is filthy.So, when I moved my couch back I have a dirt mark...Also, had to mop up water that leaked from the steam cleaner and left a pool of water on the hardwood entry floor. Glad I caught it.

Carpets still had every mark and stain from before the clean.And I got Charged more than the initial quote as they deemed the room to be two separate areas, dining room and living room, when its not. Theres not even a dining table. Didnt bother wasting my time contesting it but wouldnt use this service again.

Stanley Steemer has cleaned my carpets for years and they always do a great job. They are on time and professional. Today I had to take my moms sofa cushions to their shop to be cleaned after my mom spilled coffee on her cushions. Matt was so kind to my mom and eased all her worries about leaving her cushions at the warehouse.

Nick was patient, I live in a large apartment complex and I couldn’t locate a water line. I had to run to the office and get maintenance to come show Nick the water line. He waited 10minutes for me to locate someone. I am very very happy with the way my carpet looks.

I have pets and advised the gentleman before he left that I smelled urine in one location- He just said it will go away when it dries? Well it’s dry and is no better than it was before?My issue is this, I paid extra for the so called deodorizer and I still smell pet urine?400 dollars- 3 bedrooms, steps, landing, hallway, all done within 30-40 minutes?I’ve used other carpet companies that were about $100 dollars cheaper and were in you home much longer and were able to get rid of the pet orders/ urine.The Big Name “Stanley Steamers “ isn’t that good.We live in Brentwood CA and have are carpets cleaned quarterly.I don’t normally do negative post - however 400 dollars for 35 minutes and still smell dog urine ? Again I advised the the Stanley person on the final walk through- his comment - It will go away when it dries?Your call,

I decided against hiring for a air duct cleaning almost the moment the reps arrived to inspect and issue quote!! Why you ask? Courtesy for one and professionalism for another. Parking on prospective customers driveways is pretty bold! Not only were they bold but price of job was not a very fair market value as compared to other companys with same number ofyears .

I scheduled an appointment for June 13 and my time window was between 10:00 and 1:00. Around 10:30 I get a notification that the guy is on his way and he arrived about 10 minutes later. Soo nice to have a heads up!! I go out and meet Nick who was great! It was just him so I asked how long it would take to do the house, and he said about an hour. What?! That’s amazing!! I go about my chores and when he’s done the place looks amaaazing! The 5 star rating that I am leaving is ONLY for the technician who came out to execute the carpet cleaning. He was given incorrect information by the dispatch office. he was given INCORRECT INFORMATION as to what time to arrive. I explained to him the interaction that my mother had with the very rude and inconsiderate dispatch office and he was more than apologetic for the error on their part because they gave him the wrong time to arrive, and they did not follow protocol for whom to contact. They failed to acknowledge their errors. Technicians like Elvis exemplify consideration, kindness, ACCOUNTABILITY & professionalism and over the top customer service. He did an excellent job cleaning the carpets. Elvis understands that he is an ambassador for Stanley Steamer and his brand of kindness and professionalism is something that was not taught by them. Elvis made a choice and has standards. His awareness is his SUPER POWER. I hope the dispatch office does a better job in the future executing the job theyve been given. Dispatch was unconcerned and absent minded, all they wanted was payment information. they dropped the ball, were not apologetic at all and in fact they were very snarky and rude. Stanley steamer gave me one quote over the phone. The guy who came to do the job gave me an updated quote..then called the office to have a two man team come instead of him. The two man team shows up hours later and doesnt honor the updated price given by the first guy. Meanwhile my cats have been cooped up in a small room together for hours to keep them secure and out of the way. I refused to let this bait and switch take place so stanley scheemer didnt actually do the job. A total waste of my time moving all my furniture...wasting my energy..upsetting my pets and making me deal with their hustling. Please use someone more reliable. Thanks!
