Great staff. Food is really good

Food is excellent. Good portions. Beer selection is solid. Really nice place. A couple bucks more than expected $ wise.

Price are kind of high, but food is delicious. I will definitely go back.

Staff was great for a private party we had there. They were friendly and attentive. There was a nice menu assortment for guests to choose from, and they were very flexible with requests.

Went here for lunch with my family, our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. I cant wait to go back, We ordered the pick 3 lunch special. Which includes so many choices. I opted for the half turkey avocado bit, Caesar salad and mac and cheese, my son got pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad and French onion soup.

Im sad to say that the quality of the food here has declined steadily over the years. I ordered a BBQ sandwich for dinner with Mac and Cheese to go, and upon opening it was met with a lukewarm meal, soggy bread and undercooked macaroni.Service when Ive visited the restaurant has always been commendable, but the food is never anything to write home about. Sadly, the ingredients dont taste fresh or home made any longer.

Very good place. Had the special crab cake appetizer that was fantastic. Ordered the special sea scallops with mashed and spinach which was very good. All my table mates enjoyed their food also. Will definately be back again.

$25 for a steak sandwich alone that was at least $10 overpriced for the size. Fries came with no cover and were cold.

I had lunch here. They have an excellent lunch special for $12.95. You get to choose from three categories. I started with a chop salad which was very good. Then I had a chicken pesto sandwich wit sweet roasted potatoes. I ordered a soda and the waiter gave us a carafe which made it free refills. The service was great. For dessert we split the French toast with ice cream and whip cream.

Below average. Used to come here a lot 10+ years ago. My wife got a fried chicken sandwich; waitress gave us a heads up it was dark meat, which is fine, but a 1/4 of it was inedible because it was hard as a rock. Either overcooked or reheated, couldn’t tell. Mac n cheese tasted like mac n butter more than cheese. Steak sandwich was decent, can’t complain there.Staff was very friendly.

The potato pancakes and buffalo cauliflower was OUTSTANDING. The steak sandwiches were amazing. this is an amazing place and the service is so good.

Went to jacksons for second time tonight and ate in. While the food is good and they have some different things, the bad service overshadows it. Also stout delivered to table with no head and was flat. Sorry guys, but Im betting we wont be coming back.

Still love this place. 17 draft beers to choose from. Full bar. Mackenzie cider on tap. Cozy atmosphere. Fun appetizers. The dinner special tonight was extremely tasty. It consisted of a trio of meats, a teriyaki pork chop on the bone, a skirt steak with a tomatillo like salsa and two butterflied chorizo sausages on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes.

Great and eclectic beer offerings. Food was good and a good variety of nosh, comfort and standard entrees. Reasonable.

First and last time. We came into restaurant and stood for 10 minutes before a hostess helped us. Although the hostess and others continued to walk by and say nothing. Then finally the we got her attention asked for a table of 3. She looked down and said umm 20 mins. I said ok. She looked very confused and I said we will wait. Then turned her head looked back and said 30 mins. I said fine. Gave her my name she said nothing. I said how do you let us know the table is ready. Do you text? Call? She went uhhh you just come back. We were going to wait outside . But another group of 3 came in and she tells them 20 mins, literally 2 mins after she just told us 30 mins. Then we turn our heads ready to walk outside and they are seated. By the way its first come first serve....so???? We then stood and there and just looked at her for the next 30 mins. Finally we had a table. But it was a round table that was off balance. As you put your elbow on the top or set your drink down. It was flopping around. I tried to shove some paper menus under to help it didnt. We sat for 10 mins before the server came over to get us our drinks. He apologized which was fine. We ordered 1 app which came in a decent time. We ordered 2 burgers and a steak sandwich. It took almost an hour to get the sandwiches. While there was some spill or something in the other part of the restaurant and the kid literally dragged the wet mop all the way to the other part of the restaurant. So tge dirty mop trail added to the ambience. Meanwhile every table around us who sat after us got full entree meals way before us and were finished eatting working on dessert before we even saw our meals.. No appolgy nothing. My friend ordered 1 beer the waiter forgot to get it and I had to remind him. He for got my side sauce as well. The food was ok not great. My friend said the burger tasted like nothing, steak was rubbery, and we were no even given salt or pepper. Plus when you tried to cut your food every ones drinks and food were shifting everywhere from the wobbly table.

Inattentive wait staff, horrible food (had chicken and waffles chicken was over cooked and waffles dry, order garlic bread with spin and artichoke only got the garlic bread) bar drinks were not made well

Jacksons is a place were friends and family go to meet and have magical times . Food can rival the quality of gordon ramsay himself . The bartenders also have a sixed sense and always know when Im ready for another beer its amazing . Highly recommend this fine established restaurant

First time out since pandemic began. Great reopening and dinner outside tonight! Waiter Jack was so nice and accommodating. We had a private party with 30 people. The food was good but not enough for the money they charge. The drinks were watered down. The waitress was rude and not friendly at all. They called out for last call like we were sitting at a bar! My family always enjoyed this restaurant, time to find another local place. Me and my guests were very disappointed. I was trying to give local business a boost instead I feel there was zero effort on there part. I will just drive by and tell the locals of my experience.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Great food without being pretentious. From what I can tell all the food seems to be fresh to order nothing Frozen. Wait staff is attentive and helpful. Not only is a great for dinner but a super place just for lunch. Great selection of beers at the bar.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in NY! The food is always amazing, the menu is updated often. The taplist and drink selections are always superb! The service is too notch and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting! Keep an eye for their special events they are always a good time!

Food is excellent!! I recommended the Gypsy salad with their onion chicken! Their food is literally to die for! Also don’t forget to get a glass of their amazing white sangria!

First time ordering at Jackson’s and it was delicious!! They were so polite and pleasant calling my order in. They truly couldn’t be any nicer and patient. We picked up our food and everything was perfect. Gypsy salad is fantastic!!I added steak and the steak is so tender (skirt steak) it’s my new fav now.Steak tacos fabulous, French fries are nice and crispy, the salad with the chick peas is great too. I am so happy I finally tried this place and I will definitely come here and sit in restaurant. I am so happy I have the confidence that the food is perfectly packed and done right with take out.Thanks for great customer service and finding my lost credit card outside. :)

We were there for a party of around 75-100 or so people. The food was fine, but the service was AWFUL! The waitress with the white streak in her hair actually dropped an entree and a dessert on our table and walked away. We all just looked at each other because we were shocked. Everyone else was ok, but she was NOT NICE AT ALL!!!!I asked if soda was included. She said yes and walked away without asking what I wanted. She was mad at something and took it out on us!The ice cream was so melted that it looked like soup on the brownie.Great party made by the people on attendance, diffinately NOT the venue!

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a pleasant evening and the venue was indeed one of the reasons for this fruitful meeting. The team participated in a pleasant style, the meals were extremely good and my guests were very joyful. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Every meal that I have had there is good. The menu has something for all. You can eat light or heavy. Good happy hour and lunch menu. The tap beer selection is very good. The service is good. The bar is circular and cozy. It is a bit loud. Parking is plentiful and free. It is right on middle country road.

The food was good but the scenery was a little loud. Good steakhouse place. Willing to edit the menu just they way you like it. Our server had a sense of humor which made us feel welcome

So charming. flea-street food market cool, dare I say Punk Rock. Mac and Cheese spot on and the veggie burger insane. They have a cool craft beer and alcohol selection. It’s the kind of place you drive by all of the time and have no clue how awesome it is until you go in. Love the expo kitchen too! Rocco was amazing as our bartender and the staff in general were cool. I love that Harry, the business owner is an actual chef and not just some investor. Great prices, edgy menu. You gotta’ try it.

Had my future daughter in law’s bridal shower there. We all had a wonderful time. The food was excellent. The party package had many choices to choose from. And the people who work there were so helpful and professional. I couldn’t be happier and it’s going to be our new go to restaurant.

Great variety and service. The beer list is awesome there is something for everyone. Quality food takes a little longer but it is well worth it.

Was there for a party Saturday night in the back room. There were passed appetizers for about 5 minutes before we were asked to sit so they could take our orders. The waitress said they would continue with the passed appetizers, but they never came back with anything. The sit down apps were pretty good. The salad was a little weird with chicken peas and kale maybe? It wasnt bad though. I had the fish and chips and it was very good.The reason why I gave them one star is because in the past 3 days, TEN people at the party have gotten a bad stomach bug so far, including 3 young children. Thats a third of the people there, and they werent all sitting together.Since the kids only ate chicken fingers or Mac and cheese (and the adults didnt) it doesnt seem like a specific food was to blame. Nobody was sick when we were there or had been recently sick, so I can only conclude that someone preparing or serving the food was sick or proper sanitation was not carried out.

Friendly staff who were well attentive to needs. Food was just okay at best and over priced for quality. Portions are medium to large sized.Ordered wings as an appetizer and they were really good. Not over cooked yet still crispy. Fried chicken was a little dry and was very greasy feeling and tasting.

Went there for lunch. Absolutely horrible service. Server was rude and unaccommodating. Food took a very long time to come out. Ordered a $17 salad and it was just a big bowl of mushy lettuce with very small pieces of grilled chicken ( which i could barely see or taste ). Ordered a side of coleslaw and it was the equivalent to about the size of a tablespoon worth, WHAT A JOKE!. They were out of cucumbers for the salad and garnish for a specialty drink! Hey guys, trader joes is right across the street go get a few cucumbers! Also, with the draft beer, ( which they actually have a decent selection) they do not allow taste samples, to see if you would like to try a beer that you never heard of. Any other restaurant does not hesitate to give samples, why, to get you to BUY more beer! Common business sense. Mixed beverages are small, metered, and very expensive. They do not fill up the glass that they are served in. NEEDLESS TO SAY WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! NO WONDER THE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY DURING LUNCH TIME.

The atmosphere, food and service are great here. Lisa and Alyssa 2 are awesome. The owner,/chef, cant remember his name, was so hospitable. Took time to see how guests were doing, would recommend to any friend.

Awesome fresh food and amazing service. Private party room with great pricing and excellent menu. Jacksons also features an exemplary health department reputation and always has at least two serve safe certificate holders at all times. They hold health and safety in the highest regard!

This restaurant would be your typical bbq style food. Great appetizer options and large selection of drinks! Reserve in advance especially on a weekend because they do fill up quickly and youll end up waiting if you dont have a backup restaurant.

My second visit to Jacksons in a year. Both times I had a dressed up hamburger that was pretty good. They have a diverse menu of food and a large selection of specialty beers some (or all) from local breweries. The service was attentive and the staff was pleasent. The crowd was surprisingly light for a Friday night. My wife had the fried chicken and was a little disappointed that there was no gravy.

Never had a bad meal here. Bartenders and servers always friendly. The manager conner always talks to the customers. And the owner harry always makes sure everyone is happy.

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with lots of beer choices, hearty portions of salads, pastas, sandwiches and grilled good. A terrific choice of you are with kids. Good childrens atmosphere and baby things they will way like pays, Mac and cheese and burgers.

Nice local, non-franchise restaurant. Good food, nice variety of unusual beers. Like the ambiance. For special occasions or just a casual outing, consistancy very good.

Jacksons is top notch. Went to Jacksons on Friday, 11/6 for dinner with my 2 children and my girlfriend. I got the Striped Bass special (freshly caught) which was out of this world. Absolutely exploding with flavor. Ive been to Jacksons well over a hundred times, but this meal was so extraordinary, it drove me to leave this review. Jacksons always has great appetizer specials, including the jumbo Bavarian pretzel. Their happy hour (happens twice a day, 4 to 7 and 9 to 10) is great. Brittney (bartender most nights) is a sweetheart. And their beer selection is one of the best on Long Island. Go here; you wont be let down.

The food is pretty good, service is a little less than outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, but she was running around so busy, we couldnt find her when we needed water or ketchup. We ordered the chicken wings (delicious and crispy), French onion soup (yummy), poutine (dry and not much flavor bec they dont make it w gravy), and chicken w spinach (pretty good).

Food came out raw! I definitely would have been sick if I would have ate it. Ordered a French dip sandwich and the meat was bright red not cooked. Thank god didn’t pay for it but no manager or chef came out to apologize. Also woman had attitude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. This came after I tried to order the captain crunch French toast and they didn’t have it.

My wife and I go to Jacksons for dinner about once or twice a month. Its our parents night out destination. The food is great. We love to start withe the spinach and artichoke dip on a toasted bread. From there we have many choices. The menu varies from gourmet sandwiches to three course meals.

This was my first time at Jacksons. The food was OK. If I never ate there again it would be just fine to me. I dont know why they would serve nachos with some kind of weird guacamole at the table, it seemed kinda cheap. The only reason I gave three stars instead of two is because the food was tasty. I had the pasta with lobster in cream sauce. The cream sauce was good however the chef had too many things going on in the dish. Peppers both red and green onions and peas and sausage and dont forget the lobster..... Too much. Sorry, not sorry I wont be back.

Great lunch spot (havent tried dinner). The staff makes a great relaxed atmosphere. Tap beers rock and they have some of the best wings around.

Disappointed with last visit. Consistent decrease in quality over past couple of years. Changes in menu(using lesser quality fish/meats), service and overall experience. Just recently attended a Beer/food pairing for St Patrick’s Day. Not only were there no decorations & no fun music but the wait service was awful!! No one seemed to know how the serve nor did they know anything about food/beer being served!!!! (Beer was also warm & flat). Utter fail. Won’t be back for quit awhile.

Love the food and drinks I was turned off by the manager on duty. There was a customer complaint about the waiter, who I happened to think was awesome. And the manager apologized to the customer by calling her own waiter an idiot. That was not the right way to handle it. And I felt terrible for the waiter. She needs to learn better customer service.

Buffet for a party was prearranged the day before for 1pm. They proceeded to not have food prepared at all for another 30 minutes after everyone arrived by 1.From other dining experiences here. The food is meh. Not worth the price tag for the quality in the area.

Food is great service is a little slow at times. To be honest Im normally a fast eater and when Im done I only give them about 7 minutes to come over before i go looking for them.

Service and food were phenomenal! We were a group of 21 people ranging from toddler to grandparent and received excellent service and attention.

The prime Jackson burger was great and very filling.Our other entrees were also very good.
