My wife and I have used several limo companies in the past throughout the years so I can say without a doubt American was the best experience we have had. They always send a text confirmation with the drivers number. They have beautiful new cars. They are prompt, respectful on the phone and have the lowest prices compared to others in the area including uber. This will be the only car service we will use from now on. Keep up the great work guys.

When the women dispatch answer she does not send cabs to anyone who is not Hispanic. I called for a cab she told me they had nothing available I had my Hispanic friend call back from the sane address and they sent the taxi. The male dispatch is always respectful and professional he sends the cab right away.

Had confirmation and everything. No show! They sent information for driver and telephone number. Had to drive ourselves to the airport. Lost complete confidence in this company. This is one of those businesses that you dont get a second chance to make a first impression.

Made a reservation to take my family and I to JFK airport. It was an early morning pick up, the driver showed up 5 minutes early, helped me with out with loading my luggage and was friendly, professional and pleasant to ride with. The car was very nice as well. This will definitely be my go to company. Keep up the great work!

I had the most wonderful experience using American Taxi. I had a last minute change in my plans and needed to have. Guaranteed pick up time. Not only was the driver early he was cheerful. I got to the rr station and after unloading my luggage there was a cancellation announcement. The driver happily reloaded the car and got me to a station that had trains operating. He even waited while I confirm departure time. Well done American Taxi!

I had absolutely terrible service from American Taxi and would not recommend them. I used their services to schedule a taxi ride for a very early flight which required a ride around 4AM. I received a call in the middle of the night at 2AM from a blocked number which I did not pick up, as I was asleep, cancelling my ride. This is ridiculous. The entire point of a taxi service is a scheduled reliable ride. American Taxi was neither. Please do not use them.

The good reviews are fake.Asked me to repeat addresses about 12 times until I finally hung up. Dont seem to speak English, seems like dispatcher is working from another country.

I placed a call to make a reservation a car pick us up from JFK to go to west Hampton. The dispatcher was a very friendly lady, she gave me a few options on a vehicle I would like to take as they have several options. The price was less than a few other places I called and the customer service here was definitely much better. The price came out to be less than Uber and the car was a newer model Mercedes. I will definitely be using your service again.

Only in business since 2015, you would never know that they are a relatively new company. I was in New York and needed to get a ride, someone suggested I use this company and I am glad I did. Such great service and reliability. The person that was driving said it was a newer company in New York. I asked him if that was true because they were so good. Professional and right on time, actually even a few minutes early than expected. Good thing I was ready! They even helped with my luggage and opened the door for me. Such gentlemen which you never find with a Taxi service. Great conversation along the way too. The car was spotless too which was also a pleasure to ride in. Will always call them when I am in town and will recommend them first before other services such as Uber. By the way, prices were good too!

I was visiting family on Long Island and we had planned to go into Manhattan for the day. The driver was a few minutes early. The SUV they sent us looked like it had just came off the showroom floor and the driver knew his way around very well from what I could tell. He also gave us some great advice on things to do on the island. I thought the price was going to be through the roof because of the new car but it was surprisingly fair. Will use again.

Grossly incompetent. And I work for a government run facility. Believe me, I know gross incompetence.I called to schedule a 6:15am pickup the night before. At 6:15 the next morning i am standing in the cold wondering where my ride is. Upon calling the company, i was informed that the driver was not answering his phone and they did not know if he was on the way.How do you not know where your own employees are? And if your driver is not responding/available, you CONTACT THE CUSTOMER AND TELL THEM, so they can arrange alternate transportation! I didnt provide them with a phone number so they could post it on the wall as a decoration!I had scheduled 45 minutes for what was at most a 15 minute drive. And yet they still failed to have someone show up in time. Apparently they didnt have any others drivers available.Thr dispatcher was very polite and apologetic. But politeness and apologies do not compensate for incompetence. Having missed my train, i had to drive into JFK and am now out over $150 for parking fees.Next time Im just going to use Uber. Complete strangers can not be worse than this professional taxi company.

I made a reservation for New Years Day for a 5AM pickup. Where all other car service and limo companies were surging their rates because it was New Years Eve, i had to get to JFK. American Taxi made sure a driver contacting me the day before to assure me of my confirmation and gave me a great price.

Talked one minute with the dispatcher, the ride came in 3 minutes and I met my Valentine sooner than I expected. Great service!
