We initially reached out to APCO in May of 2020 to assist us in building a deck. We officially signed our contract in July of 2020. We had several obstacles and hoops to jump through in order to get our permits. Our sales team (Mike and Austin) went above and beyond in assisting in the process and communicating next steps. We heard from Austin nearly every single week until our permit was finally approved at the end of February 2021! They were quick to get us scheduled after our long drawn out permit process (city issues, not APCO). The construction crew was friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. While we did encounter some rainy days, they were quick to get the work completed while ensuring the quality of work was top notch. We are more than satisfied with the outcome. I would be happy to work with this company on any future projects and recommend them to any family or friends!!!!

I was extremely satisfied with my APCO experience. My neighbors suggested this company to me because of their positive experiences. From the initial call with the salesperson, Jason, they were professional from the get-go. He visited my condo quickly and was able to give me a quote and show me the warrenty during that same visit. Even before meeting to get an estimate, APCO provided a package with their licensing and bonding information, their warranty information and a list of nearby referrals that we could drive by and look at their work. The sales process was not pressured and the work done was excellent. They are easy to work and communicate with and they wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work.

They were quick to respond when I had a material defect with door and fixed it perfectly!

Overall the work performed was good. The new siding looks great. The crew who installed the siding was efficient but messy and they did unnecessarily damage the plants at the front of my home. I also have a thing about work crews, I feel as if they should at least let you know when they arrive to begin work and when they have finished for the day.After my work was completed, it took several calls and some intense discussion, to correct several matters related to workmanship.I cant say that I would never use APCO again, but Im not certain theyd be my first choice either.

Steve from the service department came and replaced a lock on a 3 season room door originally installed by APCO when I had a renovation. He had the part on his truck and installed it within a few minutes. He made sure it was working well and made a few adjustments to the sliding door so it would operate smoothly. A few years ago he installed the screen door. Steve takes pride in his work and is an excellent representative of the company.

This was one of the best contracting experiences my husband and I have ever had. We had new Marvin windows installed, together with Hardy Board siding. The attention to detail, the ability to accommodate all of the nooks and crannies of a house built in 1941, the competence and experience of the installers - was just perfect. I can’t recommend this company more highly. Their work was just exceptional. Also, a lot of the success is attributable to the amount of time they invest op front - before the sale - in really listening to and reflecting on, what we said was important to us in the final result.

Had an exterior garage entrance way door replaced. Ours had rusted out at the base. The salesman was up front about the cost and the time frame to install. Final cost was the same as the estimate and installed the within the timeframe. The installer was very personable, and efficient. Cleaned the work area quite well. Would use again.

I recently contacted Apco about wanting to have my deck replaced hoping something good would have come out of it since the company is so highly rated on Google. They called to set up a time for someone to look at my deck and provide me with an estimate. They even sent me a letter confirming the appointment. No one shows up when the day and time comes, not even as much as a phone call to let me know what happened. Id give a 0 star rating if I could.

Excellent customer service! Beginning with email request for a quote all the way through completion of our composite deck. Mike, Austin, and work crew were very excellent in communicating and responding to any questions that were brought forward. A tree fell into my home during a particularly bad storm in November of 2020 - as if 2020 wasnt bad enough already!! The tree caused over $60K worth of damage and resulted in both the reconfiguration of the master bedroom and an entire new roof.The insurance company was ABYSMAL, but despite delays in payment, difficulties with meeting with appraisers and estimates that were unaligned to the tune of (literal) tens of thousands of dollars, Mike Chekoff and the ENTIRE APCO team (from the workers, to the account manager, to the project manager... ALL of the APCO team) were simply incredible!! Mike never left my side - even when he went on vacation (because this ordeal lasted for MONTHS), he was still checking in and making sure we were taken care of.Finally - FINALLY - over six months after that fateful November storm, our house was back to normal. Actually, no. Thats not right. Frankly? The house was in BETTER shape after Mike and the APCO crew did their magic.Suffice it to say, should you need ANY work done - from minute to major - APCO is your go-to. It will certainly be mine.

Call APCO after waiting weeks for Home Depot doors to schedule a time. They showed up the very next day and were exceptionally polite, professional, and honest. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience working with APCO. We essentially replaced the entire exterior of our home. There was no high pressure sales and really enjoyed working with our salesman. APCO was really good with communication. We were actually lucky enough to get our material in early and was able to get the project started nearly a month earlier than anticipated. As with any construction/renovation there was some very minor things that I wish were different. For example I do wish the crew cleaned up better at the end of each day. Our project supervisor was a pleasure to work with and seemed to go out of his way to make sure everything was done correctly and on schedule. I would certainly hire APCO again and would recommend them to anyone looking.

They were to leave the door to be replaced, it was new and had new sring hinges. told a guy following up and he said was not on his form, checked my quote returned, it was on there, to attempt to remove intact for reuse. The reason for the new door was from it to close and latch with a closer, still dont work.

The APCO team was great! We had two new exterior doors installed. The front door is beautiful and we get so many compliments! It wasn’t an easy install as we changed the original door profile but the installers were real pros. We also changed our back door from a French door to a slider. Best decision ever! Bought a door from this company back in January, it’s been 6 months and this company still has not been able to install the door. I understand a lot of things are behind, due to covid and supply chain, but my issue is how this company is handling the delay. I have to call constantly to ask for an update and the rep. Jason promises a call back that never happens. The initial buying experience was good with Vince, but once he got the sale, we were on our own and never heard from anyone at all. I was supposed to get a call back today, but once again that did not happen. My next step is the BBB.

We liked the tech that came out for the estimate and the 3 men who did the install were awesome.They replaced a couple of facia board corners that we had painted to match existing facia boards.When the gentleman came for the estimate he suggested we have replacement facia boards ready in case we needed them. I had to call them almost on a daily basis to point out shoddy workmanship. A hand circular saw was used for the entire two story home project with no radial/miter saw used. Gaps and non flush boards are a common place. I’m glad the nightmare is over!!!!! I’m still disappointed with the end result every time I look at it. Think twice!!!

UPDATE: the owner and president of APCO reached out to me within a few hours, and has assured me that he will personally address the situation with the driver. Hopefully no one else will be treated like I was.I already emailed customer service and am waiting for a response, but I just need to rant about this. My job is sort of like a nanny share in Clintonville and as I dont live in Clintonville I leave my house early to avoid traffic. I usually sit in my car about 10 minutes or so, to give my work families more time to themselves in the mornings before me and the rest of the kids arrive. Well today, Im parked on a crowded, narrow Clintonville street, and a large pickup pulling an APCO trailer pulls up and parks at a house across the street. They do some, in my opinion unnecessary repositioning that takes about 10 minutes, almost hitting my car several times in the process. At no point do they ask me to move my car, and potentially lose my spot, however when I get out of my car when its time to go to work, the driver makes several comments, like thanks for moving, great job, and I should have just hit it. I did not engage with him, but asked one of my employers to get a license plate number in case they do hit my car.

We went out of contract with a big name window company to use APCO and they did not disappoint. APCO’s invoice was nearly $10,000 cheaper for the same service. Everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and customer focused. Dave was very credible and helpful in getting our purchase set up. Dale answered all our questions timely leading up to install. Wes and Sean were professional, efficient, and clean installing our windows. Looks great! Brandy did a great dry wall job to finish our project. All four of them were awesome and deserve recognition! They communicated expectations on time upfront. Would definitely recommend.

I had new soffits and gutters installed by APCO. The soffits were done precisely and with care. I was very impressed by the team. They were friendly and enjoyed their craft (and they were sub-contractors, how great). However, the level of effort, care and execution by the team doing the gutters was pathetic (actual employees). They were not friendly, made several mistakes, and left trash all over my roof and the yard. I am not sure if I ever want to keep the gutters. When I called to complain, I expected to speak with someone that cared about APCOs reputation. Instead, it was clear to me there was a tone at the top, and this trickled downward.After shelling out almost $12k for the new soffits and gutters I received a warranty for the craftsmanship. I am not sure what use it will be as their quality of work was especially substandard.I would advise shopping around if you are thinking about using APCO.

Technician Ron worked hard in the blazing sun to repair some siding issues, install a vent, and adjust some gutters. This is the second time we have used his services and will always request him. Additionally, Jerry in service scheduling is easy to work with and well organized. APCO is a great company and they stand behind their work.

Worked through the cold and snow for my siding job. Hard working and beautiful craftsmanship! Could no be more pleased!!

The short version is this: we paid a premium price for a premium product (James Hardie siding) and received below quality work and even worse customer service.The longer version: we recently bought a house with original siding from 1928. The first thing we planned on having done was replacing the siding with Hardie siding. It was more expensive than we really wanted to pay, but we were told that its a top of the line product and it pays for itself should we choose to resell in the future. All appeared to be going well during the installation, as the workers were friendly, getting quite a bit done each day, and left no personal trash behind. Issues started to arise near the end of the project, though. The workers finished up the installation while we were away from home. When we returned, we immediately noticed larger than expected gaps in between boards, some of which were in the dead center of the front of our house. Understandably, the boards may not fit seamlessly, but these gaps were noticeable from across the street. Some of the boards jutted out from the house and werent in line with the rest of the row. There were also a lot of noticeable nail holes throughout the boards that werent covered/filled in. On top of those issues, three of our window screens had been broken during the installation. Most shocking of all, we found later, the same three windows that had broken screens had also suffered interior damage, as well, as the frames had been split at the corners on the inside. Obviously, at this point, we had concerns. To add to our distress, all tools, materials, and the dumpster had been packed up and moved out. It was quite clear that APCO thought the job was finished. When we called Dan, our point man on the sale, to talk about this, he talked us down saying that these things happen when the front of your house is torn off (fine, I can live with that) and assured us that Riley, the project manager, normally does a final walk through with the customer. Now, either this walk through was done without us and this low quality work passed the inspection or it was never going to be done at all because the idea of a final inspection was never communicated to us by anyone. We are under the firm belief that had we not called to follow up on the issues, they would have been left as is and never addressed. After making the call, it took a few days for someone to come back to the house to evaluate the damage/poor work and another week after that to come back out and fix most of the issues. The last remaining problem was our screens. We were told that they would be replaced, since the company had damaged them. Three weeks after the follow-up visit, our screens were finally delivered, not by UPS or FedEx, but by APCO themselves, and set on our front porch instead of being installed. Another call had to be made to ask if they were planning on installing the screens as well. It was clear that they would prefer us to do it ourselves, but eventually agreed that they would send people out, again, to finish the job. Hopefully, when they come back to install the screens, they can also pick up the many pieces of large debris that still remain in our yard and driveway, but we wont plan on it.We went with APCO because it was a local, family owned business since 1962. We understood that the cost of this product was more than we wanted to spend, but we figured the product would be worth it and the local company would provide us with quality work and fantastic customer service. After all, thats what sets the local companies apart, right? In the end, we felt as though our purchase wasnt valued or appreciated, there wasnt much pride taken in the job being done, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience anytime we questioned their work. We have attempted to be as fair, but as honest, as we could be in this review. We certainly dont take poor reviews lightly, but we have been extremely disappointed with the overall experience and definitely wouldnt recommend APCO for future siding projects.

APCO was efficient from the sales process all the way through the follow up. The product is rocksolid and a good value. I’ll use them again.
