What a great company! From scheduling the estimate with Kelly, to meeting the estimator, to having a full team pull up in my driveway with the biggest wood chipper I have ever seen— the entire experience was flawless.I hired them to trim 3 very large trees in my yard to allow for clearance on our roof and some power lines crossing the property. It would have been a few weekends of hard work and a wood chipper rental for my husband and I. It was less than an hour of work for the BTC team. They were super fast, very careful and did not even leave a bit of sawdust behind.

After losing a large lead off our tree in a storm I reached out to a few different tree care companies to decide what to do. Basic Tree Care got back to me with a quote quickly (within a couple days if I remember correctly) that gave me a few different options. When I called the office for clarification the woman I spoke to was very helpful, calling the arborist who gave me the quote for more information, and then getting back to me within the hour. Their online portal was easy to use and the quote was adjusted swiftly after I asked them to leave debris removal to us to cut costs. (Though, with the amount the cut off the tree the price quoted to remove the debris was extremely reasonable!) We had them thin out the tree to even out the weight, help prevent more storm damage, and give a clean cut to the broken area so it could heal better. The job was done in under 3 weeks from my initial call, and Im impressed with how much they did for the cost! The character of the tree is preserved while keeping it healthier for years to come. Everyone I talked to was awesome, and I am really happy with my choice to go with this company. Highly recommend them for your tree care needs!

Horrible ! The lady that answers the phone has no problem solving skills, I asked for my trees to be cut back away from the road they quoted me I accepted the job, they came to my house cut what I could have cut myself and left within 15 mins (I have it on camera). I called about it the lady said she would call the guys who cut it and she called back with 500 excuses and no solution. I am in construction I work as a project manager for a very well known construction company and have dealt with plenty of companies and they are very careless company, this could have been an opportunity to get a lot of other jobs but they wouldn’t even consider coming back to look at it so this company is a waste of time and money. The lady also said “i should be good” and that trucks “should” be able to drive on the road and not hit the trees? Like really!? You know that how ? Because your not even willing to come look at it? They need to be able to leave a job knowing it’s done right with no problems and if there is a problem they should want to solve it instead of saying oh well.

Amazing service, and the work that was done was outstanding. I got estimates from different companies, and they did more work for half the cost. If you need service in central Ohio check them out. The staff is wonderful to work with!

Perfect service! The team arrived before 8am to remove a large tree in my front yard. They were very quiet until after 8am, and my neighbors appreciated that! Basic Tree proceeded to remove the tree, grind the stump, and clean the yard very quickly and efficiently. Work was completed by 9:30am. I talked with them one week in October of 2015, and the following week they safely fell over 80 trees, many dying ash trees. Some over 50 tall. They did this all in one day! They fell every tree within inches of where they planned, and minimized the damage to the rest of the trees on my 7 acres. I still dont know how they are so precise. They chipped up identified trees and placed the mulch pile exactly where I requested. Im set for mulch in 2016. They are a quality crew and I plan to use them in the future when I need their skills on my property again. Why risk damage to your property or injurty to yourself with the danger of deteriorating ash trees. I like handling the smaller safe jobs. For the bigger jobs, Ill be calling the professionals at Basic Tree Care.

What an amazing team. We had our job quoted by multiple companies and although Basic wasnt the cheapest option they were competitive and the only company to clearly define exactly what we would be getting for service. They were quick to respond and schedule. It was a massive project of 18 trees (9 - 100 White Pines, 8 - 50 - Blue Spruce and 1 - 60 Norway Spruce)The team arrived on site at 8am and never stopped working until the job was over around 4pm. Each 100 tree fell precisely where they aimed minimizing damage around the yard. They left the job completely cleaned which involved hand raking a half an acre of pine needles.I would instantly call them again for any further tree needs and recommend them to all who will listen. Did a great job with the work once they were able to fit me in the schedule. Was out of town while the work was completed, but they called and left a voicemail when they were done. They invoiced by email and allowed me to pay several days later once I was able to inspect their work. I wasnt a huge fan of the $400 minimum charge, but since the insurance company was paying it wasnt an issue for me.I would recommend them to a friend or neighbor any time.Thanks!

I hired them to have a 60 foot oak tree removed from my backyard. It was only 10 feet from my house and in my small, fenced in backyard. I was very concerned about this being done without any damage. Not only did they expertly remove the tree and grind the stump with no damage to ANYTHING, but their final price was HALF as much as the next cheapest estimate. And they did it on dates and times convenient to me. Honestly could not have asked for anything more. Wonderful work.

In my opinion, this company is deserving of the very best rating. Arriving at the scheduled time, working professionally and efficiently as a team (during a pretty good rain) stand out as the strongest reasons.Also, this company provided the best and free estimate for the job. They did not have a long waiting timeto get this job done, and are very aware of how well your property will handle their equipment and debris.My yard has a natural drain off slope and the access area was initially too wet for heavy eqipment. Basic tree kept in touch, checked it out twice, I think, and worked it in just before another rain just as they were finishing clean up. Clean up was excellent !! Fence replaced, everything raked up and hauled away as promised. Was able to have the area mowed the next day with no problem whatsoever. Hats off to Basic Tree Care and thank you.

They did an excellent job taking down a very large decaying silver maple that towered precariously over our house. They took the tree down limb by limb without any problems and cleaned everything up very nicely. I had sent an email requesting an estimate on a Sunday night and they came out the next morning to leave the estimate. Quick response(I had an estimate within a day of calling), well priced(its not cheaper to wait for a service to comb the neighborhood, their prices were accurate and relative to the work), remained in constant contact with me during bad weather (a few weeks of snow), and then did everything I expected when they came. I wasnt able to be there but my wife was and she raved about the job they did, and felt totally comfortable with them on the property. I have had other tree services in the past and they dont always clean up or walk you through what they plan to do, so it was nice they took the time to do it. I would highly recommend them.

Basic Tree removed a tree which hung over both my house and my neighbors house. Thesxe people were excellent in how they minimized the time they needed to be on my roof and did their best to minimize damage to the yard from falling limbs. Brandon and crew did an excellent job removing some pretty substantial Ash limbs over the power line and back yard. They communicate well, They explain up front all charges, they removed the waste and were very easy to do business with. We had them back to do our Stump removal in our Front mulch bed and the service was excellent.Because of the two jobs they have done, we have them coming out to remove the over grown Maple limb in the neighbors yard ( with permission ) to remove it off our house and their house.IF you want excellent service, call Basic Tree Care. Basic Tree care took out 2 silver maples that were growing too close to the power lines to our house. They arranged with AEP to drop the lines and to put them up when they were done, and worked around my husbands schedule and my work-from-home schedule. They did a great job removing the trees and chopping up the stumps. I would call them again in a minute.
