I love that its a family business and I also love that he uses a truck with a cool crane to haul the branches away. So much quieter than the chippers most companies use. And you can tell that he loves trees. He will do what it takes to save your tree even if it means less money for him. Hes not going to chop it down just to make a buck.

We have used Asher Tree Service for several years to trim and shape our weeping beech tree and our hackberry. They always arrive when they say they will. The final bill is always as quoted. Tim Ascher to the rescue! We had to remove a very large (over 40 ft?) spruce at our home in Upper Arlington. Tim came quickly for a quote, was reasonably priced and was able to get the job done in my (quick) time-frame. His team was extremely professional, kind and made a very difficult job seem easy and safe. Thank you so much! I can’t recommend this company enough!

We contacted Ascher Tree Services for help assessing the trees on our property. The proprietor, Tim Ascher, walked our property with us and provided valuable insight about our trees and patiently answered our questions. Mr. Ascher is a certified arborist and was able to go into great detail about the strengths and weaknesses of all of our trees. Most of the trees were fine, but one silver maple close to the house was a candidate for removal. Mr. Ascher indicated that we did not need to take it out now or anytime soon, but that it would likely cause us problems sometime in the future due to the proximity to the house. He also explained that it would be easier to deal with sooner rather than waiting until it did become a problem. We made the decision to have it removed and set up a date. On the day it was to be removed, Mr. Ascher phoned ahead so we would know he was on his way. Upon arrival he got straight to work and in what seemed like no time the tree was down and the branches and trunk removed from our yard. He was extremely conscientious about navigating our house, patio furniture, and nearby neighbors. I can’t say enough about the level of service you will get with Ascher Tree Services. If you want someone that can provide insight, advice, and tree service, this is your company.I have arranged to have the trees in our yard trimmed later this year and will update this review at that point.

Ascher Tree Service does a wonderful, timely and top notch job in caring for your trees at an excellent value. They have cut two very large trees down for us and have helped us with maintaining the trees we were able to keep. Tim is trustworthy and really easy to work with. Ascher Tree Services estimate was far below the other 2 estimates we received. They came when scheduled. The job was done in three stages. Our requests were fulfilled. The areas were left clean when they finished. The manager, Tim, was very easy to work with. Tim had extensive knowledge in the health of trees which guided us to do what was best for our lawn in the future. We definitely will call Ascher Tree Service for any future tree needs. We have already recommended them to our neighbors.

I was in the process of cutting down a tree near a busy street and was a little weary as I am not a professional and was afraid the tree may fall into the street, potentially hurting someone. My friend recommended I give Tim a call to get some experienced assistance. I gave Tim a call and he happened to be in the area on a job. He told me he would be happy to help and that he would be at my house in an hour.Not only was it short notice, but he was at my house within the hour, as promised. He quickly assessed the area and informed me of other trees that were dead or dying. Within 15 minutes the smaller dying/dead trees in the way of the large tree were ‘dropped’. While dropping these smaller trees, he also gave some guidance for how to safely assess the area (and tree itself), as well as how to drop trees in the future (so that they land where you want them to land) should we ever want to do this ourselves. The problem tree for which I called Tim was down 15 minutes later and dropped exactly where he said it would (along with a tutorial around the physics of what he was doing while he made his face and other cuts).The cost for Tim’s services were well worth it. Not only was he professional and efficient (he can climb a tree like a squirrel), it made my wife happy as it kept me and passerby’s out of harm’s way. Thanks Tim!

Ascher Tree Service more than lived up to my expectations! I had seen the great reviews through both Google and Angies List, and gave them a try. Tim Ascher, himself, showed up to give me a quote and discuss the health and well being of the trees on my property. As a new home owner I was hesitant to make the necessary decisions of what trees should stay and which should go. Although Tim is very clearly passionate about trees, he had no qualms about the realities of taking down trouble trees. Within minutes of an accepted quote, Tim had scaled my walnut tree and had already started to remove the offending branches and limbs from power lines and the neighbors gutters. Ascher Tree Services efficient, affordable and most importantly conservation mindedness was refreshing and impressive! I will definitely be using Ascher Tree Services in the future for suggestions on how best to move forward with the arbor needs of my back yard. ***Strongly recommend!!

I recently purchased a house that had a few too many trees in the yard. I knew that I had to remove some trees and get some limbs trimmed from off of the house, but I wasnt sure where to start. I contacted Tim Ascher. He came over to my house and discussed my options. He took the time to educate me about the different types of trees in my yard. He was certainly knowledgeable and helpful.We decided to remove two trees from my front yard and trim some limbs out of another two trees. Tim arrived promptly on the day he agreed to do the work. I was amazed at how quickly he removed the two trees, yet he took care to minimize the damage to my lawn. Then, he climbed up into the other trees and did some much need pruning, while making sure the falling limbs didnt damage my gutters or power lines.I still have a few trees that need attention, and I plan on using Ascher Tree Services again.

I am very pleased with Ascher Tree Services. Tim Ascher called me back the day I first contacted him, and agreed to meet me at my house the next day to walk through my proposed tree projects. He was right on time the next morning and dealt with me honestly and practically. I learned more about the trees in my yard than I had in the 10 years prior.
