***updating my review to 1 star due to the condescending response from the owner blaming me for the delay. Copart has been trying to bring in the proper documentation for two weeks, but you keep blowing them off! Please figure it out...***Quick to tow vehicle to their lot in order to charge insurance company by the day, but slow to give up car to insurance adjuster. Trying for two weeks so far to get them to give up the car. Scam?!?!

Almost an hour late, lots of excuses, would not take payment over phone, all around a joke.

The Sheriffs department recommended calling this company to have my daughters car towed after her accident. They showed up to tow her car at 9pm on a Thursday. I asked for it to be towed to my house (10 miles away) and the gentleman said it is cheaper if we tow it to the shop, so of course i agree. I called Saturday regarding the vehicle and was told they are only open Monday-Friday. When I called again I was informed the fee is $289. I asked how that is possible when I was quoted a fee of $155 for the tow. Conveniently the gentleman neglected to tell me there is a $18 a day storage fee (including the day they towed it - AT 9PM!! and the weekend when they are closed an I was unable to arrange for pick up). I am very dissatisfied with the hidden fees and will never use them again. I am also calling the Sheriffs office to recommend they be removed from their list of tow companies. I hope it was worth the money to lose customers.

Rude chick that works the desk. Lazy. Miserable. More adjectives that are obvious upon sight. Really prioritizing spreading that misery and making something like getting your car impounded even more of a hassle than it already is. Everything else is tolerable. She just ruins the place.

I have used Maynards twice in the last 2 months to tow my classic car to a local service station and back. They were on time, called to let me know when the car was in process of being picked up and when to expect it at my home and the driver was excellent. He even helped me push the car up a slope into the garage which took us about 10 minutes and a LOT of effort. Above and beyond service as far as I am concerned and the also the cheapest price I was able to get for a local tow. I will definitely use them again!

One of the worst companies I dealt with the team from the driver to the management is not nice they was not my choice the police officer ordered them to take my car after an accident and I will never deal with them again the way I see him towing my car when it was in parking and the way they treated it I m sure they cause more damage than the accident

Went to drive my car and it wouldnt start. Tansky Toyota recommended Maynards Towing. Called and was told theyd be out in an hour. It was about that or slightly less. AJ was the tow driver. He was friendly, understood my Prius, and asked me if I wanted a tow or just a jump. He had to jump start it anyway to get it on his flatbed so he said he would charge me for either the jump or for the tow, whichever I wanted. It started right up from the jump, and we let it run a bit to see if it would die. It didnt and I opted for just the jump. He had to get out of my driveway, so he said hed wait till i got it on the street, if it needed another charge or tow, he would be there. It didnt and I was able to drive it to Tansky. I highly recommend AJ and Maynards Towing.

Called when I broke down and they were there within an hour, professional and it was around $80 for a tow down the street to the mechanic.

Worst experience I have ever had with a towing company. Went to clean out sons car, after he was involved in a serious car accident, that wasnt his fault. He was unable to clean out the car himself because he was injured, so I had to clean it out. Wouldnt even let him look at the car once I was done, because they would only let one person see the car. Never ever will I allow this company to tow any of my personal vehicles, or the company vehicles I manage for a large corporation. Unfortunately it wont let me rate no stars.

Terrible, incompetent, rude customer service. I just called to speak with the owner of the company and the receptionist refused to give me any contact information to responsibly solve a problem. One of their huge tow trucks with a bed Had a rock come off the bed and shattered my windshield on 71. Dangerous and reckless! Do not use this business because they do not care about safety or accountability.

This towing service is currently towing cars in downtown Columbus that are legally parked at the direction of CPD, to disrupt legally protected free speech.

If the courtesy of their drivers are any indication of how they do business I would run away as fast as I can. I was turning onto Summit yesterday and as I turned the corner realized there was construction in my lane about a quarter mile up the road. I immediately put my turn signal on and made eye contact with a tow truck driver from this company. He was towing a vehicle and absolutely would not let me in! I kept tried yielding in front of him several times he came so close to hitting me and absolutely would not let me in! He laughed as if it were a game. Thankfully the guy behind him was kindhearted.

Guys be careful of the apartment you move in, if that apartment has given a contract to this towing company of towing cars just find somewhere else. These company will tow your car and make sure you steal your gadgets in your car and tell you they are not responsible for it. A friend told me and I have had my share of losing my tablet and a phone from my truck because they tow my truck from where I packed. Most of them working there are all criminals

Ive used them very affordable but very busy busy company but great.

Parking is usually full but they get your food ready quickly.

After an accident I was in need of a tow to bring my vehicle home. This was also on Labor Day, so many places were closed. Came to grab me and my vehicle within an hour of calling! Saved the day, thank you!

Friend of mines car wasnt hooked to frame the driver who complained about his job while hooking up car to bumper not frame dropped the car on to another at Lind automotive. They then claimed it was his fault not theirs. They have refused to give insurance info to him. He had to get attorney general involved. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE! WARNING: DO NOT USE!Maynards towed my vehicle and then backed into it!!!!! A month later, Im still trying to get an answer out of them regarding how theyre going to pay for the repairs! My body work estimate is $1,400!!! Wow. Joe wont even return my calls. I HAVE THE ACCIDENT ON VIDEO - THE REPAIR SHOPS CAMERAS WERE ROLLING.

Do not use this towing company. Completely unprofessional. And expensive. I write this review as I still wait over an hour for a tow truck to come. They quoted me at 20 minutes. And did not seem to care about the delay nor could give me a precise time as to when theyd actually be here.

Let me start by saying that this is the first time in my life that I have written a review because I got horrible customer service. I try my very best to say something positive or nothing at all. However, if I could give this company zero stars, I would. My partner was in an accident on Saturday on his way home from work- stressful enough but thats okay. Accidents happen. I have spoken to 3 different people at the tow lot. All of them were extremely rude..one of which refused to give me information because they were closing soon on Saturday and I had to wait until Monday to get any answers. Worst customer service I have ever recieved.

We find Maynards is the most reliable, and is most reasonable towing service the Columbus area has to offer. We recommend all of our clients to call them in their cars time of need!

A lady named Michael is the customer service representative in the office calling in. She is VERY rigid, rude and lacks professionalism. She gave terrible pricing for a tow quote for driving less than 2.5 miles to destination (from point A to point B). She continued to argue with me and was in no way, shape or form interested in providing service that was respectfully priced, empathetic to the needs of the customer and treated everything like whatever, you can just call back later when my boss is in, whatever! She spent all her time discussing the breakdown of company expenses instead of focusing on the immediate need of her customer! Even making bad jokes about How about for $55 bucks I will bring rundown jeep to tow you to your destination. All I was looking for was a fair price and something called HUMILITY! Oh well; I gave my money to another towing company near by who offered $50 but I gave him $60 for doing everything right with me, the customer! Mer-Noo company does not deserve a spot on Google Map! (at this time).

Best priced tow in town

A twenty minute wait after being told by my auto club it would be a couple hours. I called a shop(Bernies on Como) and they recommended Maynards. I knew what the price would be, so no surprises there. The driver.... This guy was awesome. Probably one of the rudest s.o.b.s out there to anyone except his customer and boss. He was nice to me, and not in a hurry to shove me off. He loaded my car(my 94 Buick Roadmaster LandYacht) and took it to the shop. No trouble. He even put it on the shops bill so I didnt have to pay him immediately. Just so everyone knows, It is commonplace to tip these guys. I threw him a Shell card as a thank you.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... They would not let me get stereo equipment or anything out of car. Then days later it was stolen so they say from thier not so secured lot, the large rude woman at desk was repulsive as a person. Towing and storage prices are high. They have a nice scam going on at this place, hold your car hostage and steal your stuff while waiting for insurace to decide what to do with your car. They wont let you remove items from car while on thier lot. I am sure this is not the first time they have screwed someone over, they seem to have thier bases covered so BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THIIEVES. Would give zero stars if possible

Do not use this company I called to have my car towed and the tow truck driver improperly hooked my car up and the tow hook snapped and my car rolled off the flat bed into another car and theyre saying Im at fault and refuse to give any insurance information to me and my insurance
