I have been going to Nails on Neil since 2011 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They always get my nails looking fresh and beautiful. They are flexible, kind and genuinely build relationships with their customers. If you are looking for a relaxing self care experience this is definitely the place to be!

I went into nails on Neil for the first time there is a gentlemen’s name Danny taking care of me I ask for a gel manicure and he told me that I should trying the dip so I was like ok so I tried it… so all those time he was doing my nails and talking the whole times while he working on my nails.. but as time goes by he was hurting my cuticles I was like hurry please and get my nails done and he keep on talking telling me how professionals he is and he is very perfect at what he does.. finally done and I left and the next I have all I of this hangs nails and my finger was hurting so I call in the shop and ask for a manager and some guy answer told me that the manager is not in… so he ask me how can he help and I explaining it to him what has happen and I want it a refund he told me no refund n sorry and hang up on me…… wow I would never returning to the places again ………

I have been going to Nails on Neil consistently for several years. Staff is always super attentive and youre able to phone ahead for same day appointments. Walk-ins are also accepted.I have had traditional, gel, and dip manicures done as well as their pedicure services. In the rare occasion a nail breaks or chips, they have fixed me up free of charge with no issue.I always come in with a picture for inspiration and they do their best to find a matching color. Ive had a moon manicure (with a triangle shape), glitter accent nails, simple halloween spiderweb nail art, and duo chrome french tips applied before.Typically I choose the gel manicures and they are solid for 2 weeks and sometimes even last to 3 weeks. I like to keep things bright and their selection is very impressive. Overall the price is right, the staff is on point, and you will definitely be satisfied with your service.

Hein is good at what he does and he is very honest and tell u what ur nails should be and what color is good with ur nails .. I love nails on Neil !!!!

Hien is great! I had gotten a manicure at a different place that chipped/broke too quickly. They didn’t charge for removing the old one, and thank goodness they saved my hands before my boyfriend proposes!! I would definitely trust them for big events. I got a similar color as before at much better quality and slightly cheaper price here. Everyone is friendly. They offer to fix nails for free within 10 days for gel manicures. Highly recommend. I’ll be back for other special occasions.

I went in for pedicure there a gentlemen’s working on my feet first is was ok and then he start talking but as time goes on n on he keep talking nonstop and I went to the airport my nails start chipping already what a waste of my 58 dollars and by the way I want to come and relaxed and enjoy my pedicure I don’t minds the talk but talking nonstop is a No no … and I never give a bad review but this is too much for a pedicure I didn’t even want gel but he told me gel was be good because of my time and is chipping already

The place is fine for a regular pedicure or manicure but this time I went and they damaged my toe with the nail gel remover they apologized and asked them for acrylic nails and what the girl did was put a paste on me acrylic that my nails look like pink almonds for all that I had to pay 120 dollars that I threw them in the trash. I never go back

I have been coming to Nails on Neil with my bestie whenever I am in town for years. These guys pay such great attention to detail and provide the most thorough service I have ever had. They go above and beyond. Theyre pricing is super reasonable and I always feel comfortable Ill my them to make any changes I want. I had Sarah do my nails and toes most recently and she did a killer job! Definitely do not sleep on this salon!

I’ve been here twice so far, and I don’t plan on going anywhere else. I get dip powder manicures medium/long length and these nails are STRONG! They really take the time to shape and cut your nails evenly as well, which I love. This is a great place overall.

So I hate leaving bad reviews but this place deserves it. I called at 6:00pm asked them if they could get me in. The guy answered said yes. I drive 20 mins out here walk in the nail salon every seat is filled and the nail list is full. So I ask the guy can y’all get me in still l. I was told y’all can get me in. He said yes. I wait outside the shop for 40 mins never get a response so I decided to leave and I’m so upset. I feel like the guy should of just told me he couldn’t get me in tonight. Don’t go to this nail salon they are very unprofessional. I do not recommend

I tried here because I live one minute away & the staff is nice & are always able to take you for a walk in, but the past 3 times I went if you are getting gel and want a certain color, chances are they won’t have it. Went for a light green- they had no green. Went for light blue- had no light blue..Today I went and AFTER were halfway done they tell me they can’t do designs and again didn’t have the color I wanted, so I picked a random one as I had little time to decide. Definitely would choose somewhere else where they have more colors and can actually do what I wanted, but would recommend if you’re looking for a simple mani/pedi

The best nails and people in Columbus. Haven’t gone anywhere else in the 5 years I’ve been here. My gel manicure lasts twice as long as any other I’ve had in the past. Everyone takes the best care of your Natural nails ensuring their health and strength- I never have breakage and I have long pointy natural nails. Hein shapes a nail like an an angel, I’ve never had consistency in the past for my specific requests so it’s much appreciated . The color assortment is the largest I’ve seen and they have constant updates.10/10 would recommended as the only place I trust !The people are the kindest most hardworking humans who take great pride in going the extra mile. Seriously cannot recommend enough

Ive been going to this nail salon for years. The salon is very clean, bright and vibrant. Service is always quick and prompt, Ive never really had to wait. Ive had both pedicures and manicures with gel polish. Every service I have had has always been performed way above satisfaction. My nails always look perfect. The gel polish is thin (as it should be), with a clean polish line along my cuticles, and stays on without chipping or dulling until removed. With gel polish, you must find a great salon that not only applies gel polish correctly but more importantly, removes the gel polish correctly without damaging the natural nails. My nails are as in good of shape (healthy and strong) today as they were the first time I went in for a manicure. I personally have recommended this salon to several friends who have in turn recommended this salon to their friends as well which speaks volumes as to the quality of this five star salon!

Hien, Kim, and all the great nail techs at Nails on Neil have always taken great care of me, but around the holidays they go above and beyond. Hien allows a group of us girls in to basically take over the store and celebrate the holidays together! Everyone is so great there. My nails look great and the price is right!!!

Take your money elsewhere. I got my nails done on Sunday. When I left I noticed that almost every nail was crooked. I called and asked if I could come back in to get them fixed and was told to come back in on Tuesday at 10:30. I arrive at the salon and the tech refused to remove the nails and redo them. Without saying anything she got up and went to the front to give me a gift certificate after removing the color from ONE nail. I politely told her I didn’t want a certificate I just wanted them fixed because I was leaving for vacation the next day. Again, without saying anything she walks to the back and comes back with cash and just hands it to me. EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Got my eyebrows waxed here. They don’t have an eyebrow room. They sat me a chair in the middle of the room next to others getting their toes done. So there is no social distancing and it was uncomfortable to be sitting on chair and getting my eyebrows down. Also she used so much waxed that she burned my skin and it cost $15. Not worth it and won’t get my eyebrows done there. They do a good job on pedicures had it done few weeks ago but I would like to suggest getting a wax room and train your technician on how much wax to use because now my skin is scared.

They didn’t ask what shape I wanted for my dip manicure and the nail was bumpy after. We also didn’t have to wash our hands when we came in.

I am very careful during these crazy times and feel very comfortable going to Nails on Neil. Everyone wears a mask and they check your temperature when you arrive. They have plexiglass between each station and keep the business very clean. The manicure and pedicure are great and last longer than I would expect. I am very picky and feel they do a great job!!

I moved away and really miss this place! Owners are great people. Gels always stayed on for a couple weeks if not longer!

I normally get acrylic nails and pedicures, and occasionally even an eyebrow wax. Even when they are super busy, they seem to be able to fit you in the schedule.During this time of COVID, Hien has taken GREAT care in making sure hes following all necessary precautions and guidelines. Everyones temperature is checked upon arrival, and theres plexiglass dividing each station. Lastly, returning customers are treated like family and thats what makes this place extra special. :)

This has been my go-to place for years! I used to go to Penzones and theyre great, however, a bit pricey and out of the way. I also made the mistake of going to another salon on a Cinci trip and the gel peeled after a few days. My dip and gel manis here last over a month! The location is convenient to campus, downtown, Grandview, Short North and UA, with plenty of free parking. Plus I trust their safety profocols, even before the pandemic, but now more so with the plastic barriers, temp check and and hand sanitizers. Working in healthcare I cant highlight this enough. The owners, Hien and Mai, greet you by name and no matter who performs the service, youll recieve consistency and quality.
