This company seems like it’s really good to those who actually get hired in but unfortunately until then the recruiters will promise you a job and make you jump through hoops to be hired in and then last minute change their minds.I was PROMISED a job and then turned away less than a day before orientation for an accident that they had ALREADY known about DISCUSSED, on my driving history.Despite that I tried to call the recruiter Shawn back and inquire about if I’d ever be eligible for the job in the future but once I told him my name he hung up immediately and ignored every effort I made to contact him as well as blocking me on a drivers recruitment app.WARNING!!! If you apply for this company make sure to wait til you’re inside your new truck and actually hired in before assuming you have the job!! EVEN IF THEY PROMISE THE JOB TO YOU!!

Was given misleading and false information on the hiring process. Failed to have a truck available for me to use at the Columbus terminal that I was to work out of. 14yrs of experience and they decided to not hire me instead of getting a truck to Columbus. Wasted 3 days of orientation and traveling to Columbus for it. Quality and experience of other drivers in orientation was not impressive. My first day one of the office personnel tailgated me on the street in front of the terminal to the point I had to pull over and let him go around. Watched him pull in the lot and park taking up two spots. Pretty much the attitude of most of the people working there. Total experience was poor.

Great staff and good equipment, customer base is easy to run for and typically little waits. Would recommend.

Attended orientation 10-3-18 to 10-5-18. Cathy P is the instructor, and she is very detailed in her presentations. They served lunch from a local restaurant (sorry do not know which one), and it was great. Overall it has been a good experience, and im looking forward to my employment with this company.

A place for Amateurs... No Communication... No Accountability.:. People at WestSide do not know how to do their jobs.I had to ride to Chicago to get a tractor that was suppose to be in Columbus Ohio. I arrived to pick up the tractor, and it was not ready. Although WestSide provided a Hotel, I waited 5 hours to get a ride to the Terminal. The tractor I was assigned did not have a Bunk Heater/APU, Inverter, and ELD was ripped off the dash... I reported my findings, and refused to drive the tractor. Finally, I decided to drive the tractor just to get back home.Maybe my standards are higher, but I could never expect someone to drive a tractor in 11 Degree weather with no way to keep warm, or a way to prepare meals.WestSide is Pathetic...We need a Strong Union for Drivers!!!

It Was a Great PLace to park our Trucks until the new management came and started kicking us out.

After put in an application. Just waited. Called into Columbus Westside transportation. Never get a call back. Put on hold .never get any WHERE. I think there lacking a lot here. .send emails but never talk to anyoneHmm.

Company was okay to work for, however the driver leader left a lot to not be desired. Went to call for solutions, and was told Ill call you back never recieved the call back. Was informed before working there I can make up missed days, that was a lie. I couldnt make up the missed days. Informed the recruiter, that I would have to miss days due to wife being sick.. the recruiter understood however the DL wanted to threaten my continously.The DL version of a verbal warning was her telling me that I will lose my job if I dont contact her with information. I called the night crew l, not my fault they didnt inform her of my information. I never got the whole this is your verbal warning she called me into her office, then made me wait over 30 minutes while she was off giggling, and carrying on with someone at the office. Then the person was someone I never met, he never introduced himself to me. He could have been some Joe blow off the street.They need to get their facts straight, they say start time is from 5-9 am. Yeah, that was a lie also. Most stressful time driving in my life.

Don’t do it. A lot of equipment is in terrible shape and more than a few trucks will not pass a DOT inspection. Could hear some dispatchers or “Driver Managers” as they call them, speaking horribly about drivers. Company has no problems asking people to drive illegally

This companys pay is terrible, they tell you one thing about your pay & its whole different story the equipment is not safe or maintained well at all, the support sucks & they treat the drivers like nothing dont make the mistake I did by thinking this is a good company to work for.go elsewhere!!!!

Went to orientation and company wrote me fraudulent checks. The recruiter Alexis lied to me and sent me to Columbus under false pretenses. Dont beleve what they tell you. You will be worst after working for them then when you went out there.

I wouldnt advise working for a company that goes cheap on payed holidays. U got to work 8 plus years to get them all, meaning every year u are there u earn 1 holiday pay for the whole year
