We used Berger to assist us with our move out of state. From the first consultation and inventory with Kevin through delivery, the whole process went smoothly. They spent two days with us packing everything for the move and another two days loading the truck. Our packers were fantastic - they packed up our whole house efficiently. The loaders did a great job too. They were personable and hard working. Getting everything in the semi-trailer was a challenge but they did it! Thank you Berger Allied!

Berger was responsible for packing my house up. They did a wonderful job ensuring everything was packed just right. They were also super fast and professional. Rachel and Bob were awesome! This was literally all I hade to do.

The packers did an awesome job of getting all of our stuff done quickly and neatly in well under 1 day. The loaders did a great job as well of overcoming the challenge of needing to use a shuttle truck due to our long driveway. They worked quickly and had our entire house loaded in a day. I’d recommend using them for your move!

We had a very positive moving experience using Allied/Berger beginning with Kevins visit to our home for the inventory and moving quote, to the house packing by the crew led by Jurgen and Tom, to the unpacking with another good crew also led by Jurgen. They were all hard working, experienced professionals and treated our items with respect and care.Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions. Jurgen was an amazing leader and driver. He is very knowledgeable, skilled, and practical in problem-solving when dealing with bulky or otherwise challenging items. He was jovial and unflappable, and clearly enjoys his work, his colleagues and his clients, which are important strengths in working with people dealing with the stress of moving. He was very respectful to his crew and clients alike and obviously has a lot of integrity. We are grateful for all the diligent effort these folks gave to make our move a success. We would recommend these folks to family or friends, and would hire them again in the future.

Berger moving did an expert professional job of packing the first day, and loading and unloading the next day. They packed with paper and boxes and, as I unpack them, I see how securely they all have been packed. From start to finish everything went very well. I greatly appreciate their service and would recommend them without hesitation.

Very responsive services. Loaders and unloading groups were great to work with. Coordinater was also attentive to my needs to make this a smooth move.

Communication was always there. The driver Patrick was always in communication and right on time as he said. The driver Patrick I feel went above and beyond what I feel most drivers would care to do. The day of the load the team came in and was right on top of everything. Every piece of furniture was wrapped like Christmas presents in moving blankets before it exited the home. The team the unloaded didn’t unwrap any furniture until it was in the room where it belonged. Now that is extra care.

Berger was on the receiving end of my cross country military move and wow.. we’ve moved a lot and they were the best we have had! The crew was on time, professional and personable. They worked quickly and hard and reassembled our furniture with care. Great company!

From the beginning this was a great experience. This is our 7th move using a moving company. This time, there were no hidden fees, the estimate included a price for loading/shipping only and a price that included packing. The team arrived1/2 hour early and were ready to begin loading when I opened the door. There was clearly a person in charge (Ivan) who worked another 3 men. Everything was wrapped and packaged carefully and when they departed the site was clean. I received my receipt while the team was still there. I was SO pleased with my experience!My neighbors are moving in May and are using Allied and hope to have the same team.

We went with Berger Allied for our cross country move and I cannot rave enough about the wonderful experience I had with these movers. Specifically, Larry, David, Brandon, and Sweet Tea were friendly, very careful with all of our furniture, and were very quick with the whole process. We had one crew pack our belongings and a different crew move our belongings into the moving truck. The packers were just OK. They didn’t box a few items and we were told they would communicate with the movers the following day to finish packing. There was no communication between the packers and the movers resulting in us shoving our cars full of things that got left behind. The movers were great, very efficient and accommodating of the snow storm that day.

First, I want to say this was my 22nd move! I have had a wide variety of moving experiences. Berger Allied is absolutely the best! From the first phone call to arrange the estimate to the final communications regarding payment and delivery, everyone was prompt, professional and kind. From the start, Kevin Staley put us at ease. His estimate was spot on. When I went to the warehouse to get used boxes, they were all so helpful. I dont remember names but they not only gave me boxes and supplies, but also tips for packing. On packing day, I believe their names were Rachael and Larry(?) packed all our fragile items with care and efficiency. On moving day, Jimmy and his crew performed a miracle and loaded everything on the truck with not an inch to spare! Delivery went smoothly with an equally impressive crew here. Moving, by nature, is one of the most stressful events in our lives. I could tell that this move was being handled the right way from the start. Thank you!

My expectations were exceeded with Berger Allied movers. I relocated from Ohio to Florida and everything went perfectly. The movers showed up on time in Ohio and took time, care and consideration to load everything properly. They were kind and respectful. Jimmy, the driver, was awesome. He told me he was planning to deliver my stuff the following Monday, which was the first day of my delivery window. He texted me over the weekend with a follow up reminder. He called again Monday morning to confirm his ETA. The guys that helped with unloading in Florida were friendly and careful with my belongings. They put together my living room furniture, my bed (which is a pain), and the mirror on my dresser. They even carried my kayak to the kayak storage area, away from my home. I took my own inventory and confirmed every item arrived and nothing was damaged at all. After reading horror stories online (with all moving companies), I was naturally concerned. But I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Berger Allied to everyone. And they had the best price between the 3 moving companies I received quotes from.

Great move thanks to the folks at Berger. They were ready and willing to answer my questions, I had not moved with a mover before. The day of the move they came in and loaded everything and took great care. The unload the same. Great experience.

From the coordinator, packers, movers and driver, all were professional, courteous, and, great to deal with!

Following the signing of my moving contract, the coordination of this move and the customer service provided by Berger has completely fallen apart.I was provided false and incorrect information from Berger for everything from the required use of a shuttle to load my truck, to the number of movers loading my truck, to the time it would take them to load it.Add to that the poor attitude of the truck driver, the fact that an item was left behind on the front lawn (placed there by the movers), and Bergers lack of action to resolve any of it, and I am an extremely dissatisfied customer.The manager at this location has also not held up his end of the agreement in investigating my complaints in a timely manner. At this time, I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and am awaiting additional contact from Berger or the BBB regarding this move.

Had a rep come out to our apartment to help estimate the weight and how much stuff we had. He was polite, informative, and quick. He told us a great number of things about what we could expect, etc. He did such a good job that we decided to go with them for our move from Ohio to Florida.The problem was that the rep told us things that the actual providers didnt do, know about, or care about.1. Because of the small parking lot, we were told that the big truck couldnt fit. This meant they would use a shuttle. The big truck would park down the street. We also had stuff in a small storage unit. We could pay extra to have them make two stops or could just bring it to the apartment to load on the big truck. We chose the later since it would cost less. The driver left his big truck about 20 minutes away. So I had to drive the UHaul to a weight station, then to where the big truck is located, then help unload, then back to the weigh station. The driver paid the first weigh station, but I had to pay the second. This, plus the fact that the truck came back late and they charged me for an extra day of rental, plus the extra mileage and gas...not to mention the cost of hiring movers to help me load the truck from the storage unit, it ended up costing more to do this AND is was a much bigger hassle.2. They claim to have free boxes and the sales rep made a big deal about it. The main office in MN told me they only sell boxes. The local office said they would give them away, but that they didnt have any. Its not a big deal, but a great example of the misleading expectations.3) When the stuff arrived in Florida, it was just the driver and his son unloading (as opposed to hiring a couple of guys in Ohio to load). We marked each box with colored tape to indicate where the box would go. I tried to explain this to them and was cut off, told they would just figure it out. The result was things were put into the new storage unit in the wrong order and its a mess.4) A number of things were damaged in the move. The sales rep told us how they wrap furniture in plastic and have blankets, etc. A few nice pieces of furniture were scraped and scratched up as if they were given no protection. Other items were dented, missing pieces, torn open, etc. This is where it gets interesting. Theyre claims process isnt helpful. We caught quite a few items that didnt match the inventory numbers on the paperwork. When I brought this to the attention of the driver, he blew it off and said it would even out. So, if you have a filing cabinet with a sticker labeling it 255, but the paperwork says 255 is a box...which do you trust? Especially if 255 was pre-listed as having a scratch on it. So the claims team looks and says the cabinet was damaged before it was picked up. OF course, you sign off on the paperwork after not a single person explains what it is, so you dont even know that you should check the notes, labels, etc.5) Communication wasnt great. We also had them move my car. The company picking the car up was horrible at communicating, returning calls, or providing any information as to when the car would be picked up. I was told it would be in the morning and that I would get a call. When I didnt get a call by the afternoon, I called and was told traffic was bad. I didnt hear back until that evening when the driver was only a few minutes away.On the plus side of things:- the movers who loaded the truck in Ohio were fantastic: quick, polite, & hardworking- our stuff made it to Florida ahead of schedule, car on time.In response to Allieds response:- Yes, we did discuss bringing my items from storage. We made the decision we made based on what the rep told us and shared that decision with him,.- Submitting the claims is a difficult task since many item numbers dont match the items, not to mention the ability to read the drivers hand writing.- Im still waiting on the local office to tell me how to submit damages to my car in the move.I appreciate that you want to fix things moving forward, but what fixes this for us?

One week before our house closing and move they informed us they can not accommodate. I would ask my company not to work with Berger Allied

The team kept me informed before our move date be and were flexible when I had to reschedule. The crew arrived on time. They worked quickly and were very careful with our items. I would highly recommend.
