I called many vets in the area to bring my pets, and they were impressive from the beginning! Amazing customer service. Very friendly, patient, empathetic, and didnt rush me off the phone. I didnt spend a lot of time waiting, and the techs and vet were all SO amazing with my neurotic cat, and Handled him with such care. The vet also spent a lot of time with me, and was very thorough. Ive been in the vet setting closely my whole life, and this clinic was IMPRESSIVE! Also, you can check out in the room, which I thought was amazingly efficient, and also less stressful for me, and my cat, since we just popped right out the exit to the cars. They have my business for sure!!
My 15 year old cat was well taken care of. It was just a routine yearly exam but her first time at Northside. Thanks Northside!
My 9 year old pit had a stroke on Friday. I thought she would get better but Saturday I knew it was the end. Everyone I called wanted 200 dollars or more to put her to sleep rather than caring that my loving sweet baby girl was in excruciating pain, all they cared about was money. We are moving and I didn’t have much money. My friend told me about Northside Animal Hospital so I called them. They were so Kind and Loving! They only charged me 57 dollars to put my baby to sleep. I took her home to give her a nice little memorial. I’m so thankful for Northside employees. They cared more about my baby suffering. Then they cared about money.
All of the doctors here are terrific. They always get you in if you need help. Very attentive to details of your animal’s well being and comfort. Dr. Stacia and Dr. Waterman are the best!
We took our 10 month old kitten here because he was having alot of problems with his ears because our regular vet couldnt get him in for a few days. After being highly recommended we decided to try Dr. Stacia. After we were put in a room the Vet Technician came into the room, she then took Q-Tips and was digging into our Cats ears hard enough to were she was bending the Q-Tip. After that she left and came back saying Dr. Stacia wanted to do a smear to look at under the microscope. This time I flat our refused to let them do this again to our Kitten. She then had another lady come in with her to hold our cat as she once again dug into our cats ear to get a sample with. After all of this with them doing everything Dr. Stacia came in explained what was wrong. She herself was really sweet, but after the idea they let the Technicians do everything when you pay for the Doctor to do it and they do not know what they are doing. Also they have no compassion for the animal. Our kitten was so frightened he sit there and was shivering then when they got done, he pushed his little body between my husband and the wall afraid of what they were going to do to him. I would NOT RECOMMEND these people after what they done to my kitten. As for Dr. Stacia, she was really sweet, we liked her but when you pay for the Dr. that is who should do everything and ease the pets fears not let the technicians do everything. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER use them again. I will wait on my Vet Dr. Miller in Americus Ga whom our Kitten loves and sure doesnt shiver and stays so scared to do what he did.
I couldn’t have imagined a better experience than the one I had with the staff at Northside Animal Hospital. I was really embarrassed about the condition of our puppy. Timber was kind and professional while explaining what would need to happen to help Ty in the best way. The whole staff was kind and patient. Ty is on his way to a healthier lifestyle thanks to them!
I was able to drop my pet off in the morning and have his annual checkup done as well a grooming. He was definitely taken care of and was in good spirits.
I have a Maltese who is 11 yrs.old and she has collasping trachea and Dr Stacia is her vet. I use all natural products as much as possible and she gets no vaccines except the rabies, and only because it is required. Other than that she is Titered Tested. Also she IS NOT feed any kibble. No chemicals for flea and ticks. All natural. Dr Stacia is really good with her. Would recommend her.
We had issues with our yorkie having one of the puppy stuck and they took us with no appointment. They where able to conduct a C cession for the dog and get the puppy out with no issues. Thank you for your help and taking us last minute.
Was not happy after finally getting a call back from a very sarcastic Dr.Stacia. Was informed she did not have a crystal ball to know why my dog was having seizures. And to why the tick meds prescribed werent working which was my whole reason for trying to contact her anyway. And when I started questioning her on what and how she was treating my dog I was cut off Everytime I spoke and told what exactly he needed next to try and how much to give him. But was told it was how meds worked you try till you get it. And it went way south from there. With her basically even knowing my dogs condition and me asking questions I was told that she would get my dogs files together and that she felt that she was not the vet for me. Leaving me with my dog having to find a new vet and no help from her at all. Sorry she couldnt answer my questions but my animals are my family and she can learn to understand concerns that she may take as everyday no worries. Well now I have had to watch my dog go through 7 violent and painful seizures today and its left him so sore and out of it. Simple questions that could have been answered that still havent. And wont cause none of my animals will return to be seen by her. Currently with an appointment first thing in the AM. Thanks to the staff they have been wonderful and very professional each visit.
Thier the best vet, they realy care about my fur babies
I am updating my previous review and want to thank Dr. Clardy for calling me on his day off to give me the results of my cats bloodwork. I was very frustrated having an ailing cat and not being able to get information that would alleviate my anxiety. This clinic does need to work on getting information out in a more timely manner though. Phone line holds can be pretty long as well. I would recommend all of the vets because I find that they do care about their patients and their expertise is above average.
Thank you for seeing my Husky Sam without an appointment. I looked everywhere all day to have him seen and no one would help when he was very sick. Unfortunately it would be the last time I got to see my best friend alive. The staff was more than nice. Also you making a clay impression of his paw print means the world to me.A.J. Ramos
I get so tickled that my dog gets a positive review as a good patient every time he goes to see the doctor. I wish he was a good patient for me at home. He will not take pills for me; he will not allow us to treat his boo-boos. But apparently he loves the ladies at Northside Animal Hospital and we are very grateful!#OtisSaysHey
This was my first visit to NAH and I couldn’t be more pleased. Making the appointment was easy. When we arrived, the staff was prompt and professional. My fur baby really seems to like them despite the nail trim and holes in his hide from bloodwork. Pets are quite discerning and I think that it is a good sign that he approves. I am confident that my senior feline is receiving excellent care.
We brought our dogs here to have shots and see why one of our dogs is having seizures he was tested and given an antibiotic to treat some tick disease that was supposedly causing seizures yet he continues to have them. Now they want to see him and put him on seizure meds at another cost when this should have been done in the first place. We could have tested causes while he was no longer having seizures. We will not be continuing with their services!!
This was my first experience with NorthsideThey were informative, professional and took good care of my fur baby. It was a struggle getting him in the place but once inside he was well taken care of.
I called in on a Thursday for an appointment and the lady stated they had an opening on Saturday at 9AM and 10Am and to call at 8 in the morning Saturday. I called at 8 and no one answered, as a matter of fact I called 8 times and when someone did answer and I inquired about the appointment times, they told me they were taken Friday. This was a major inconvenience for a for an attempt to be a first time customer and I will never use their services..
Needed a new Vet when we moved and was very pleased after our first visit. The Vets are knowledgeable and take the time to ensure you understand and are comfortable with treatment. They are reasonably priced and I even purchase our dog food there. They have a process for outdoor service due to Covid which is efficient. The staff will always do their best to work me in when I have an emergency.
After my dog was attacked I loaded her up and rushed her to vet. They took amazing care of her and the staff was amazing with me. CoVid doesn’t allow us to go into the office but they came out and called regularly with updates. They are her normal vet office and office for all my pups. They are always amazing and prices are decent for my pup sizes.
I love Dr.Claridy. He is one of the best vets in town. I will only take my animals to Northside. They are amazing
I honestly feel like they just want to get money from me. I brought my baby in for something stuck in his paw. When the doctor called me she told me about allergies and getting allergy meds. I said wait what was stuck in his paw? that’s what I brought him for. The doctor said oh I’m sorry I didn’t even see that. Also I brought my dog to get groomed and was not pleased all his hair was shaved off and some parts they shaved him to short he was pink in some areas. As far as getting in for a appointment that is great but it’s just the treatment need to be worked on more. Listen to what the customer is saying about their dog and treat that, instead of something else.
They have always been great. Kind, caring and compassionate. Dr. Waterman is a blessing.
Very friendly and professional staff. They are good with my dogs.
Hi the whole staff is wonderful thank you all for doing and caring for pets like you all do thank you thank you
Staff was super friendly and sweet with our dog. Excited to have found this office
I called on a semi-emergent basis without an appointment. My dog was seen immediately and we were back home in less than hour. I am so impressed with the level of professionalism and thoroughness of Dr Stacia. Thank you and to your entire team.
The young lady who fetched our pooch in and out (Covid 19 has customers waiting only in cars) was very nice and professional. They seemed understaffed on this afternoon, so she was assisting MANY customers. The vet Dr. Waterman called me from inside...she was also gregarious and upbeat. It was pretty much an annual physical for Balto, so he was getting the works...he had no complaints about the service. ;~)
I have been to a couple of vets and by far Northside is the best. They care about your pets and the Vets discuss your pets health. I highly recommend and thank them for loving my kids as much as I do.
Friendly and helpful staff and competent technicians and professional vets.
We have been taking our dogs here for two years and the service is from bad to worse. They don’t have enough staff and you are obligated to wait outside for an hour or more. If they don’t have enough staff why they book that amount ofPets? Also we boarded our boxers and one of them came back with diarrhea for a couple of day. The vet said it was stress, so what kind of attention they have to the pets while boarding. I boarded her later in another place and they were totally happy. Looking right now for a different vet service 😡
Northside Animal Hospital has always been a place where my babies get the absolute best care. Nothing has changed during Covid. Procedures change but the levelOf care and professionalism has always been the same.
First time visit. Even though it’s curbside, they were very professional, and the Vet was awesome and informative. And they complimented my dog multiple times. Will be going furever!
Positive. Everything was handled professionally. Great care.
Greatest vet ever.
Got same day appointment for my hurting baby. They are fast and in depth, and I like that! Thank you, Northside!!!
Had a fantastic experience. Out of town and my dog was vomiting for 12 hours. When I called and asked if they had any openings (had already been told no at 3 other clinics) the woman asked what was going on and then was able to fit him in the schedule. They were very nice and Dr Stacia was very professional and kind. Would absolutely come here again if needed.
As always, everyone there was friendly & helpful.
I trust Northside Animal Hospital with my sons pet dog, Bailey. The staff are always kind, gentle, patient, and very professional. The vets never rush you, and make time for all of your questions.
Both my dog and my cat are seen by Northside since we’ve moved to Georgia. Even with the current COVID situation, we were able to get quick appointments and my cats spay done in a reasonable amount of time. They are easy to get in contact with, and very friendly. Would recommend!
Never had a bad experience here. The staff is always cheerful & helpful!
Get a written quote from them before they do anything. They will perform services that they did not get authorization for and charge you. Twice in one week. Both times it doubled my bill. 89 to 189. 172 to 381. Buyer beware
Dr. Clardy saved my diabetic cats life!!!I can’t thank him enough. He is always friendly and takes his time to talk about the best treatment for my baby.My cat was diagnosed with diabetes almost 4 years ago by another vet, but just got sicker and sicker. I can’t believe the difference in my baby after Dr. Clardy treated him.The whole staff at Northside Animal Hospital is awesome as well!
I took my 14 year old labrador in because he was not walking. I was devastated. I thought we were going to have to say goodbye. Dr. Waterman fully explained his diagnosis and treatment options. She calmed me down and gave me hope. We followed her medication guidance and my boy has made a fabulous recovery! Im not sure if any other vet would have given my boy another chance at life! She has given us the amazing gift of more time with our sweet boy! Everyone at Northside is caring. The office manager is amazing. This little cat named Dewey came in and insisted on being petted while I was crying. He helped to calm me down. I recommend this vet and clinic to everyone!
We have been clients of Northside Animal Hospital since December 1992. We began with this practice when it was owned and operated by Dr. Hank Hall, who is a superb and caring vet. We never saw or had any confidence in any other vet except Dr. Hall prior to Dr. Clardy joining the care team and becoming our primary veterinarian. When my first schnauzer, precious Hunter, became seriously ill at the age of 11 and had to have emergency surgery to remove what proved to be a 1.4 tumor from his chest/abdominal area, Dr. Clardy transported Hunter, with his IV, in his own vehicle to the emergency vet hospital to be monitored throughout the night. We met Dr. Clardy the next morning, which was a Saturday, at the emergency clinic. Dr. Clardy spoke with the emergency room staff to get an update and then placed Hunter back in his own vehicle. He took Hunter back to Northside in order to monitor him for the day. After the clinic closed, he transported Hunter back to the emergency hospital to be monitored until Monday morning.Even though we lost Hunter after about three months, Dr. Clardy went above and beyond to ensure Hunter received the best care and chance at survival. This type of care means so much to a family who really loves and cares for a fur baby.Unfortunately, throughout the last twenty-eight years we have lost 9 fur babies, but Dr. Clardy has been right there with us sharing the care and the grief with our family as he is truly one of our family. The only issue I have found with Northside is the fact that a few of the front desk staff do not always follow-up and ensure the veterinarians receive messages in order to return calls. Please do not get me wrong as there are several great staff members, Erin and Madison just to name two, who always follow through. Dr. Clardy always returns calls promptly when he receives the messages.D. Clardy is always open to any comments or suggestions whether it is a complaint or praise to ensure families and fur babies receive the health care and support needed. If you take your fur babies to this clinic, I would suggest seeing Dr. Clardy and Dr. Rohl.Thank you,Lisa M. Whitley
Before Xmas, I took my chocolate lab, 5yrs old and very gentle, for a bath & shots ..... left her at Northside Vet for 2 hrs. She was injury on her front leg and required surgery of internal stitches. I asked the 2 techs to please watch her closely. They think she was injured on a kennel ... unknown what happened. Still dealing with recovery 3 weeks later. I am very disappointed & unhappy with them.
This is a great place with amazing doctors and staff!! They have saved my neighbors dog! Shed eaten muscle relaxers and went into a comma and was in critical condition. Shes now running around like nothing ever happened. Nubbys still a hyper lil nut and shes a true blessing 💕 not possible without Northside Animal Hospital
I have taken my animals here for years, either for routine vaccinations or for illnesses. I love certain vets there, and they have always treated my furkids as their own. However, I do not like that they are taken into the back room, away from view, to do weights and shots. My cat was allergic to certain medications, and it was in his file, but when he was taken to the back he was given these meds without my consent. My other cat had had a respiratory infection, but also had cancer in his ears with painful tumors. I cleaned his ears once a week, very carefully, due to the pain it caused him. I held off that one week so he wouldnt become more stressed while he was sick. The techs held him down to clean his ears while he was in the back, and had the nerve to bring the q-tips to me and make a snotty comment about his grooming care. One vet, who is no longer there, misread my diabetic cats file about how many units of insulin he was to be given a day when I boarded him for 3 days. I sternly clarified the correct dosage, and had a bad feeling about leaving him. When I went to pick him up I was made to wait in the waiting area for almost 2 hrs with no explanation. It turned out that when they went to get him he was limp and unresponsive, which happens when they are either given too much insulin, or their dosages are given too close together. This last time I was there I boarded my dogs for the first time. Even though they have a fenced in area, dogs are made to stay on the vet provided leash to be taken out. I left specific feeding instructions, and requested that they stay in the same run. They were not only extremely stressed when I went to pick them up, but my 10yr old lost 5 lbs, and my 2yr old caught kennel cough. Considering I have boarded them at a different facility since that time, and their demeanor and health was the complete opposite, I will not be boarding my animals here again.
I will not go to another vet. This is my Vet and Dr Clarady is the best
Personable. Always remember me and my pup!
Took my baby for her yearly checkup and she got hurt in their care. Cause I was not able to go in with her. Then had to pay for the medication. If my baby is in their care I believe its their responsibility to make sure the baby is taken care of and not hurt. I shouldnt have had to pay for that medication.
This place has seriously gone downhill since Dr. Hall retired. My family has been using this vet our whole lives. Unfortunately, the last time I brought my dogs in for annual check up, my 9 year old lab became very lethargic for 2 whole days afterward. It also irritated me that they did not update their weight in their paperwork either. The staff was never friendly and did not make me feel comfortable. You lost a life long client.
I have been taking my pets to Northside for 20+ years. It will remain my pets primary care.
If I could leave this place no stars I would! I took my five year old chihuahua there and they told me that he tested positive for heart worms so we did a three month treatment and was NEVER told that I had to keep my dog totally still especially considering he was a very small dog. He then had some complications and we had to take him to the emergency vet and we were told that he had a dead worm lodged in his organs and was experiencing complications because of it and would not make it much longer. While at the Emergency vet they were very shocked and appalled that our vet never told us that he had to be kept still. He died a couple of months later due to this. DO NOT take your animals here if there is something seriously wrong with them!!!
I have been using this vet for 20 years. Hank Hall was amazing and would make time for any emergency. Sadly, he retired and so did the caring quality of the personnel. My 11 year old dog was having difficulty breathing and I was given an appt for 3 days from now. When asked what I should do for her, as she is struggling, I was told to call around and find another vet. They make no exceptions.I will never return to this “clinic”!One star is one too many.
Love Northside, its the first and only vet my Cadence has going too. The staff here is great. My baby gets excited as soon as he realize the building. He cant wait to get out the vehicle. He loves going here also.
This is such a wonderful veterinary clinic. My dogs have each had emergencies and they got me into a room right away both times. Exceptional and prompt care, great prices, and compassionate staff.
I brought my dog in yesterday for vaccinations and to get her flea and tick treatment. After we get to the room they come in and take my dog to weigh her and check her temp and also draw blood for her heart worm testing. They bring her in with a MUZZLE on. I asked them if she tried to bite or growl at them and they said no but they could tell Bella was feeling uneasy and didn’t want to risk it. Well they come back in to give her heart worm injections and immunizations and I guess they thought my dog was going to bite, so I held her head while they gave her injections. Not a big deal but I’m frustrated at this point and time. As we are leaving, they have a clinic cat that likes to roam in the office. I have told them numerous times my animal doesn’t like cats. Well the cat is running up and down the hall right in front of my dog and nothing is done about it. Even as I am checking out I’m having to watch this cat run up and down the hall right in front of my animal while nothing is done and a lady sits in the office right by the exit laughing about it. I will NOT be returning to Northside. Since Dr. Hall has left this place has turned into a nightmare.
My experience here was very pleasant! Both my pet and i were nervous but the women who helped did a very good job. My baby had ear mites and was very skittish (tried to run out of the hands of both the assistants while getting weighed and the vet while getting examined) but they all kept cool and collected and did great at attempting to sooth her as well. She healed up pretty quickly and is no longer in discomfort.
A few months ago I had my birds wings clipped here, they botched it horribly. Do not go here for birds unless the bird doctor is here.
I have a one year old retriever, and I had just visited this place today. First of all, I know my dog has anxiety, we have been introducing him to new dogs ever since he was a pup. However, he does get anxious easily. He would not go in to the hospital; we asked for help to get him inside. The lady came outside and DRAGGED him inside by his collar. We had a harness put on him and his leash was on his harness and all. We have an electric fence for him to run around and play so he had a electric collar around his neck which only beeps when he gets too close. This lady (will not mention her name) dragged him inside, and I have NEVER heard him screech this way in my life. This was pure animal abuse, screaming and dragging him to the no good place. When we got in, he was so scared and literally trembling. The doctors barely examined him (they didn’t even listen to his heart; being a physician myself, I know how to examine and she didn’t even listen to his heart, nor check his ears, height, weight, nothing. The staff (except that lady) were friendly but it did seem like they were trying to get this over with and just go back inside, they didn’t even ask if we had questions at the end)I am definitely looking to switch hospitals and I HIGHLY recommend you to NOT go here. They also charge very much even for a simple checkup. This was my experience.
Poor service. This place has lost my business. Took my dog to Affordable Vet Services. Couldnt find an annual teeth cleaning and shots appointment that they made me wait an additional Month to get.Once we arrived at 0730, I was told that there is nothing in the system that an appointment exist and couldntfind my dogs name and had been going there for at least 5 years. They was sure sending those appt cards in the mail showing they were overdue though..backwards business...oh well. Another place will get my $600 for my pets yearly shots, groom, dip, and teeth cleaning. Affordable Veterinary Services...Hello
I love this vet service. the vets are informed and kind and patient and the techs are out of this world good! the front staff is kind and fun and very eager to help make your stay the best it can be. I am so happy I started taking my 13 year old yorkie here. They are honest with you, even when you may not want to hear what they say and, to me, that speaks volumes.
Best service Ive received since leaving North Carolina. Management is great. Employees have great attitudes. It gets crowded, so plan for a 20 minute wait if the parking lot is full.
I took my pug ladybug to northside the staff was amazing they made us feel like family, Dr Rachael waterman was by far the best vet Ive ever met she was so kind and understanding and talked with me about my babys treatment, she went above and beyond to take care of my pug girl, Thank you so much for everything, yall please take your fur babies here they really care about, your pets you want regret it I promise..
Switched from walk in to appointments which is great for my schedule. Staff at the front is friendly most of the time. Dr. Stacia and Dr. Singleterry are nothing amazing. Ive had two other docs (one male and one female) who were also very nice but I cant remember their names :) office gives a military discount which is also very nice. Place is kept clean and doesnt smell bad which is an accomplishment at a vet clinic.
They take really good care of my babies. I love the fact that they do walk ins at convenient times. They are nice and respectful. And their prices arent bad. I been bringing my dogs here every since I got stationed at Ft. Benning. My dogs are never scared when I take them they are always happy.
Despite all the warnings from previous reviews, I brought my dog here... now I sort of regret it. I DID NOT see the vet before they took away my pup. They gave my pup the “necessary vaccinations” without consulting me or informing me that today my pup will get this this and this. When the vet returned with the tech and my pup, there were not a lot of words exchanged. Just a simple “vaccines were given to him” and I was handed the bill for the vaccines... The most recent visit, they took my pup to the back and apparently gave him the vaccines he was due for. Dr Beloszie and Stacia did vaccines and examinations in front of me. It makes me very uncomfortable that they would vaccinate my dog before telling me what he was due for.. That’s right, I sat there, gave my dog to the vet tech, and when my dog comes back to me after 5 minutes with the Dr., I’m informed that he has received all his vaccination. Needless to say, I was pretty unhappy with the last visit. Don’t go if what they did to me makes you feel uncomfortable as well.
I love Northside Animal Hospital. I have taken many cats in over the years, and Ive never had a problem with any of the vets. It is obvious each these doctors have a real heart for animals. It is surprising to me to read reviews that say it is all about the money, because Dr Hall is the vanguard in animal rescue,. There is no money in animal rescue. Dr. Hall works long hours because he cares about his patients. He isnt being compensated for all those hours. Like any business, there are staff to be paid, as well as overhead and supply bills. I have complete confidence in every one of the vets there. God bless them.
I have been using Northside for my Rottweilers since 2010.The doctors are all caring, intelligent and easy to talk to. I had to put down my 9 year old Rottweiler after he was diagnosed with cancer in his spine and liver. They stayed with my husband and I after hours so we could say goodbye to Rocky and be with him while they put him to sleep. They sent us a sweet card for our loss. They helped us get him cremated. I cannot say enough good things for them helping us through such a horrible experience. They are very reasonably priced. They are always SUPER BUSY, but to me they are worth it.
I have taken many pets over many years to Northside Animal Hospital and have always been confident they were given great care by professionals who truly cared. When my older male dachshund was very sick I was allowed in the back to visit him after surgery. There were so many animals in the back and all seemed calm and content - in cages and out.
Dr. Hall and his office manager have been amazing to us! About a month and a half ago I had foot surgery. When I got home, I discovered that my sweet 10 year old lab-mix, Reagan, had been bitten by a venomous snake and his face was swelling. I was scared to death. I live 30 minutes away from Columbus, in Hamilton. I knew that Northside closed around 6:00. It was 5:50 pm, I picked up the phone and I called Northside and I spoke to the hospital manager. The hospital manager told us that they would hold the hospital open for us and we rushed sweet Reagan into town. The staff picked him up out of the car for me and immediately started IV medications. He had to stay overnight, but after a vial of anti-venom he was looking as good as new. It is my firm belief that Dr. Hall and his staff saved my sweet boy that night. Dr. Hall called me every few hours with updates. I will be forever grateful for the kind, caring, and compassionate service that we received. It was a scary night, but we slept well knowing that he was in the best hands possible. Dr. Hall saved Reagans life!
Great doctors but the staff is kinda rude. Took my baby here to be neutered and paid 375 dollars, they charge you a hospitalization fee even if you come and get your baby the same day. When picking my baby up the Vet himself advised that the price for the procedure was way too much and this clinic tends to overcharge. I then talked to a few of my friends and associates with Pets and they advised they only paid 150-200 for the procedure and they only pay a hospitalization charge only if the baby has to stay overnight. I will not be taking my baby back here.
There are not enough words to express the gratitude I have for this special place, and all the wonderful staff members. A special thank you goes out to Dr Harris and Dr Hall for taking such great care of my cat Jazz and other kitties in the family, they truly do care and go above and beyond their call of duty giving the best care possible. Many thanks again and God Bless all of you!!Laurie.
Weve gone there twice, four years apart. We had a great experience the first time, and the same four years later. The staff are friendly and the doctor is very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend you visit this vet.
The first time that I came to Northside Animal Hospital it was very packed in the parking lot and, to be honest, I was thinking the worst as far as a long wait. Upon entering we were promptly greeted and checked in. They treated my pup so well. We were in a exam room within minutes, he had immunizations, an exam, tests, and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes I believe. The vet was wonderful with him as was all of the staff. The prices were good imo as well. I have lived in numerous states and always felt taken advantage of in the past but not today. Thank you for the wonderful service today. We will be returning in the future.
I love this place! They take excellent care of my animals. They even call to check on them. Im so appreciative for all they do!
I have been taking my dogs to Northside Animal Hospital since the 90s and I have always known that they were going to receive the best of care both as a patient and when boarding. Dr. Hank Hall and his staff are the BEST!! Over the years, Hank and I have become the best of friends and today as in the past, I would not trust my pets with any other Vet. Hank goes above and beyond what you would expect in caring for your pets. I can not thank his staff and him for the outstanding service my dogs have received over the years, he currently provides services for our three dogs. It means a lot when you can count your service providers as one of your BEST friends. Thanks Hank for all you and your staff do.
Dr Hank Hall has been our Veterinarian for over 11 years. We have NEVER had a Vet as kind and committed as he and his staff are! We have boarded our pets there as well and the care they receive is fantastic! I have never had a pet whine or refuse to get out of the car on Vet days and I think it is because our pets have a very comfortable feel for Hank and staff. I do not think anyone will be unsatisfied in trying this Vet in Columbus, Georgia.
These animal lovers took in a stray found by someone on the road. They took care of her without guarantee of being paid for the services provided to her. “Hope” was abused, starved and alone. A kind woman rescued her and tried several veterinary facilities that denied treatment. Northside stepped up for her. This is the kind of compassionate doctors I want to treat my furry family members. Thank you Northside.
We used to go to Riverside, but we werent completely satisfied, it felt like they just wanted our money and that they didnt really care much for the well being of my dog there so we decided to switch to Northside because of their great reviews and we loved it! I thought we would have to wait because it is a walk in clinic but we were in and out in under 30 minutes, and that was with me asking a ton of questions, all of which they were more than happy to answer. I was very pleased with how friendly everyone there was... Also I couldnt believe the county permit for my dog was only $5 here, my last vet charged $14! Northside was great, I recommend it!
I would consider Northside Animal Hospital to be the best place you can take your pet for a number of reasons. One reason is the staff is friendly and considerate each and every time I go there. Another reason is I have always been able to talk to one of the vets and get results. I am able to get everything I need for my dog. I get food, shampoo, insulin, and other meds right there. It is quick to drop by to get these. Lastly, I always receive reminders in the mail for when tests or shots need to be done.
I have 2 issues with this vets office. First, even though I have requested numerous times to be contacted when my pets are due treatment, this office has never done so. The only way I have been able to stay current on treatment for my pets is by receiving post card notifications from the vet I had for years in Griffin, GA.The second problem I encountered at Northside is their unwillingness to approve online pet med orders. When I asked why, one of the vets told me that he would not allow another company to take money out of his pocket. I was instructed to present the order total from the online company so that Northside Animal Hospital could match their price. I went in with the invoice; but the vet would not honor that price after all. Buying the Frontline from Northside would have cost me $50 more than the online company. When I asked that the vet allow me to order the medication online, I was told that the online company could not guarantee the authenticity of the product. Yet the online pharmacy acquires the exact same product as the one offered at Northside for a much higher price. The real reason this vet will not agree to the online product is money, just as the vet told me. It has absolutely nothing to do with product quality. The people at this facility are friendly; they just dont follow through on health care notifications and dont allow online purchasing of medications. I have transferred my pets to another local vet.
Great service the best I have had so far, and the vet takes his time with you and makes sure that you know all your options. He was great with my dog and seemed to genuinely care. Great great place if you are in need of any pet care this should be your first stop.
They don’t take reservations for boarding which is by far the dumbest thing I’ve heard. How are you supposed to plan a trip without knowing exactly where your dogs are going? When I called 2+ weeks out, I was reassured that they NEVER filled up because “they have so much space.” The woman on the phone reassured me that even though it was a holiday weekend I shouldn’t worry, they only filled up once, years ago, over 4th of July. So, against my better judgment I trusted they’d have room. Called again a couple hours before the dogs were getting dropped off and was again reassured they’d have room, only to have them turn us away when we showed up.I’m never trying to board my dogs here again unless they start taking reservations.
I first visited Northside about 3 years ago when I was referred there by another vets office. My dog had cancer and required a surgery to remove some tumors. Dr. Hall and Dr. Clardy were amazing. The cost of the surgery was only a fraction of what a clinic in Auburn was going to charge, and the compassion felt was so appreciated at such a hard time. Because of the quality of care we received, and the genuine feeling of knowing that this office truly cared about your dog, we now bring all of our four legged babies here. The doctors and staff are wonderful!
I have always had a great experience at Northside Animal Hospital. The staff is always friendly and the doctors are great. No wait time. I like that I can walk in without an appt on Saturday and not have to wait at all. In and out. The prices are great too. I would recommend anyone to take their fur baby to Northside Animal Hospital.
Fantastic vet. Friendly workers who always great my dog by name. Been using this vet for 4+ years. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing ! Treated my 5mth German Rottweiler like a King!!! Definitely will be turning. The entire staff was amazing and so loving!
Had an emergency (my baby was hit by a car) and our regular vet was not in the office. Dr Hall took excellent care of my baby and helped us every step of the way. He got me an envelope together of everything he had done while my pup was under his care to take to her regular vet when he was back in the office. Great staff! I cant thank Dr Hall and his staff enough for putting my mind at ease during a very scary time!!
Always helpful!
Dr. Clardy was wonderful, we had an appt at 8 and were in a room by 8:05. We have a big German Shepherd who WILL NOT let anyone clip his nails, came in expecting to have him sedated for them to get it done, and they were able to do it without sedation. Very knowledgeable about medications and different options for his skin condition and very clear about pricing and expectations. Very personable and relaxed even though I know he must’ve had a million things going on at once! Definitely recommend.
