College Liftoff is an amazing and important investment in your childs future. Our daughter is an excellent student with a good idea of her major. Nonetheless we are currently working with CL to help her understand all her options in majors, minors and schools. Once we find the right set of schools we look forward to their guidance in the application, selection and scholarship areas. While academics and fit is our main priority we anticipate some real savings on tuition as well. The founder Aaron Greene is extremely knowledgeable and insightful as are his counselors. College Liftoff indeed spearheaded our son in the right direction. During our free of charge consultation our son was leaning on the side of not wanting to assist college. If anyone is wondering…there is great value in this service! College LiftOff (CL) helped us in a number of ways. Sibling are sometimes polar opposites, like my two boys. CL assisted in narrowing down each of their likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses and applied those results academically to possible college major and minor areas of study. They guided and researched with us the possible colleges/universities that fit their interests and different personalities. CL joined us on local campus tours, invited us to occupational/educational company tours specific to my sons majors. CL offered help through their writing lab and aided in the FASFA, financial aid, scholarships and awards process. The service they provided didn’t end once my two children graduated high school. My UC freshman emailed CL for some advice regarding college life and classes. Our CL advisor was more than happy to talk to him and helped answer some questions. Through the connects made via CL, at one of the educational site tours, my UC 1st year has obtained a full time, paid internship. This all speaks to how CL helped my sons, but they also took on some of the stress and worry I felt as a parent trying to understand the college process which has changed so much since I was in school.
