Chad carries on a good conversation, but more importantly cuts hair like a pro. He is a master at his craft. I have a double-crown (pretty rare) that is difficult to cut. In the past my haircuts from other barbers look good leaving the barber shop, but then does not grow in well. Chads cuts allow my double-crown to grow in without much struggle or awkwardness. Chad understands and also listens to a clients needs. Id give him a 6-stars, but the scale only went to 5 stars.

Great cuts and friendly barbers. Pricey but you know youre going to walk out pretty happy and the barbers are good about remembering you and the style you like. Good atmosphere to boot.

I recently relocated to Columbus and needed to find a new barber to cut my hair and beard. After some research I decided on Moses Barber & Groom and selected Chad as my barber. I arrived at my appointment on-time and was welcomed by the staff and, Chad was ready to seat me immediately. The shop is very clean, nice, and the staff is very professional. I am very pleased with my haircut and the beard trim I received and will be going back in three weeks for another trim.

I felt compelled to share my experience here because of the job they do. For the longest time I was in a perpetual cycle of “grow my hair out for 8 months then clip it myself,” because every time I sent to great clips or Supercuts I hated what the end result was so I figured “why throw away $20 for something I won’t like when I can do it myself for free and still hate it.” Last fall I decided to break this cycle; we moved to the area and I decided to give Moses a chance. Could not have been a better decision on my part. I’ve now seen Chad here twice, and each time he has attentively listed as I (very, very poorly) tried to explain what I wanted each cut to look like, and he took that word vomit and gave me exactly what I was looking for. He’s a good, friendly dude who also happens to be excellent at his job and I couldn’t be happier to have ended up in his schedule by chance for that first cut. The rest of the staff are all super friendly, and the vibes at the shop are excellent. 10/10 recommend hitting this place up if you are looking for a fresh cut.

I can’t say enough about this place - you get so much more than an awesome haircut - you get an experience - even in the middle of a pandemic, which says a lot. Dave’s as good as it gets, but honestly, I looked around while my hair was getting cut and you can’t go wrong. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try - you’ll look and feel so much better.

I always go back to Moses and drive by other closer shops because they just have that it factor. They are cool without trying, but not pretentious like some places Ive been. This was my first time at the location in German Village and it was, as always with Moses/Holy Moses amazing. The time and energy they spend on every detail is easily seen and felt with every cut. I had an amazing first experience here. They close at 7 PM but one barber in particular said they would be happy to take care of me right at 7 and Im extremely thankful for that. He took great time and care into helping get the cut that was best for me and it was fun talking to someone so passionate as a barber. Its more on the expensive side but its absolutely worth it.

Ive gotten cuts here twice now and they are certainly providing 5* service. With everything going on right now (COVID-19) they took extra care/precaution which made having someone touching your head much less intimidating - they limited patrons inside the shop, everyone wearing masks (including customers) and hand soap/sanitizer being available. I have received a top-notch cut with each of my visits and will be back.

It may be slightly more expensive than other barbershops, but it is worth every penny. The attention to detail and their services are excellent. I will definitely be going here for my hair cuts indefinitely.

Brian went above and beyond. First, he told me to bring in all of my dirty laundry. Strange I know, but if you know Brian, he doesn’t let his “job” get in the way of being a good host. As I sat down in what can only be described as a “barbers chair,” he proceeded to put my laundry in a washing machine located in the back alley way. While it was not hooked up, there WAS a team of laundry elves inside, that cleaned and dried my unmentionables better than I ever have.... but I digress.Brian cut my hair, shaped my beard, shaved my throat, and hugged me goodbye. It was perfect and I am happy. The end.

An extension of Holy Moses on 5th, Moses Barber on S. High is a slightly smaller, but no less quality experience. Easy access from the Scioto trail or coming straight along High on the bus means easy access, and their prices hit the sweet spot of a quality cut and barber experience. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online or over the phone.

Big fan! I have been going to Holy Moses since it opened but last week switched it up to Moses Barber & Groom. They guys are great as you would expect and the conversation is almost as good as the service. The feel of the shop is welcoming but with a bit of an industrial vibe and the big open window in the front of the shop allows you to feel the vibe of the location. Super convenient too as I just hopped on the CBUS from work and walked the last block to the shop.
