We needed one of our QSC subs repaired before our upcoming event, we dropped it off and within a little over a week got a response that it was ready to be picked up. Super professional employees, easy to work with, they where also all very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend for any future audio repairs. Thank you!
Very knowledgeable about our professional gear. Not only were they able to fix our issue but was able to teach as well. Quick service. Friendly staff
Fixed my amp in less time than quoted with the exact price they quoted. Great and friendly staff. Definitely going back if I need another repair.
Hi priced...evasive on answers about parts and repair...I dont trust them.
These guys are my go to for instrument repair.
Absolutely the best place to take your amp to be repaired or modified. Their prices are good and they wont do work that isnt needed just to make a buck. They are the best in town!
Always professional, always fair. These cats know their stuff...!
Great little shop to fix amps.
Abell Audio Inc repaired a couple of amps for me recently and they did a fantastic job. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. The warranty on the amps had expired, so I was expecting a higher bill, but they let me know that there was extended warranty coverage on the amps due to a known issue from the manufacturer. The repairs did take a little while, which they let me know ahead of time. An estimated 3-4 weeks turned into about 2 weeks, so they were still repaired sooner than expected.Theyre an excellent business with friendly staff and Ill definitely return here for any future repairs.
Dan Abell the owner/manager of this facility is one great guy. He is my angel. He brought back to life my Pioneer SA-9800 amp. He is straight and honest with what he is doing. Price is just fair. Can’t complain of the driving 5.5 hrs one way.
So glad to have found Dan and his shop.Needed help with a 40+ year old synth that was in rough shape and he fixed it up without batting an eyelid. Also kept in touch at every step of the process to let me know what was going on. First rate service, highly recommended!
The best of people!
Great people! Really customer oriented. My go to place for all my stereo repairs.
Great place, team & location. On time repairs! I have had several pieces of gear repaired @ this gem. PS Always ck out the used gear/left behinds before leaving - U never know what u might find there!
I dropped off a vintage MAESTRO octave box to be evaluated and was told it was a 33 dollar charge to open it up and they wouldnt touch it without contacting me first. I gladly paid and was told I would receive a call before being operated on so i could still send it back to the person I had just bought it from online. Instead of doing so they spent 1 hours worth of labor and parts into it fixing it which came to a total of 105 dollars. Now I am forced to pay to receive my pedal back nonreturnable, or pay the additional hours cost (so 210) to put the original parts back in and still run the chance of not being able to send it back. so in conclusion my vintage 500 dollar pedal now has 105 in repairs on it, has no chance of being returned and the pedal doesnt even work that great to begin with so now I am just out 605 on a pedal ill probably never even use.
Solid service at a reasonable price.
Had many things serviced there over the years. They ALWAYS do a great job and are honest with your repair costs. As a local musician I highly recommend them for the repair job.
These guys have been around for many moons. They know what theyre doing, and set a very fair price.
The best place in Columbus for tube amp maintenance and repair. Highly recommended by my musician friends and they were right. The hours on Google are wrong. As of today, it says they are open 24 hours a day. That would be impressive, but its not true. Go to their website for the real hours of operation.
As advertised. Fixed my audio equipment, and have had no problems since.
They know what they are doing and if you need something done fast they can do it. There is a fee for jumping the line to be next on the bench, but its reasonable. They stand behind their work and have gotten me out of a jam more than once. Will be back.
Great group of guys. Very knowledgeable. Building is a bit hard to find due to location being in the back of a building
I use Abell Audio for all my electronic repair needs I appreciate their attention to detail and fair pricing. Ive never been disappointed with their work. Thanks to the staff at Abell Audio

Great repair center! Quick turn around, reasonable prices.
Every time I have something repaired they always tell me what they are doing and do an excellent job in doing.
Had a new backlight installed on my Yamaha SY99. Costly but done right. Worth it to me as Ill never sell it. Expert work...very satisfied!
Not impressed. I brought a late 80s Korg in to be evaluated for repair. They took over 2 weeks to look at it, charged me $135.00 and then informed me that it needed a new motherboard, which is no longer available - no other information, and they claimed that it was unrepairable.I opened it up once I got it home, and the spot that needed a repair was obvious. Im not an electronics wiz, but Im not impressed since the part that needed repairing was obvious once I opened the keyboard up - and was able to be fixed with one trip to micro center, a dental pick and 409 /contact cleaner and q-tips in about 20 minutes. A small fix to get the keyboard working again. I wouldnt trust their evaluation or abilities with repair after seeing their version of total loss could be fixed with 409 or contact cleaner.Ive since had it looked at by Out of Band Development in Johnstown Ohio just to make sure that everything was ok, and apparently the electronic chips, capacitors and connectors on the board are easy to find online, and simple to repair. They repaired my stuck keys and cleaned up the rest of the keyboard just in case.I would avoid if at all possible.
These guys get it right and get it done quick!
