I recently have had Mr Tint, tint the windows in my Lamborghini Murcielago and my Ferrari F430. This is hands down the only place that I would trust to touch my cars. Absolute perfection on both cars. The installers are the best in the business! From start to finish everything was first class. Such a great group of people. If your getting the windows tinted in your Lambo or your Honda, this is the only place I would ever trust to do it right! Highly recommend!

Things to look for when getting your vehicle tinted: clean and professional INDOOR environment out of the wind and dust, reputable film company that has the best film for your ride that wont bubble, turn purple or fade, and a dealer that has a lifetime warranty that includes the film AND installation process (and honors it). This place has all of these things. They may not be the cheapest around, but then again you get what you pay for. Think of the saying Good, fast and cheap service. Pick any two, and you wont get the third.

I love the job these guys did on my new Nissan Armada, made Mr. Fancy Pants look very very nice, the service was excellent and straightforward. I didnt even know about window tinting and I told them I wanted it dark but legal and to do their thing and that is exactly what they did. (I had it previously done elsewhere & had Mr. Tint to correct it).Pros: Mr. Marquez (my spelling could be off) was prompt, hospitable, attentive and very knowledgeable of vehicle window tinting. Beware of their promises and warranty. If you are really serious for the Good work, see their reviews on other sites as well. They will not do anything what they promised after the payment. I had a worst experience with Mr Tint. There were some scratches on my driver side window so I went there for tinting two windows only but they intentionally started tinting the 4 windows and the rear window as well so that they can demand $400 for it. When i asked i only wanted two windows they left the residue and glue as it is on my rear window. The person lied to me when i made a payment of $150 to get my car.. that residue will go away automatically but it never went.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Reply on Owner Comments:I never instructed to tint full vehicle and you yourself made your mind. Your staff returned uncompleted vehicle saying it is completed. What a fraud you are speaking here. He said the glue will go away. Is this your kind of professionalism? You are a big fraud.You have just one form and that you fill yourself during the initial work order. Do you give any pricing estimate? No, never. I have visited your store twice but you just told me the same garbage $400 and did not try to listen what i asked.I am not going to get any service from you as i have better options and get this done in $50 instead of $250 you are demanding to just remove your unwanted work.

The quality of service was great! The Speed of service was great! and the customer service was great! Its been a while since I got a car tinted but I wanted to get my Dad Chevy Impala tinted. When I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile by Alexis W. I told her what I wanted to get done to the car. And she shared with me the options they have and was very detailed in the information she gave me. That was really important to me because I wanted to make the right decision on the type of tint I wanted. The cost was very economical. And actually for the value of tint that I was getting I thought it would cost more but the price was right within my budget and not expensive at all Needless to say as soon as I dropped off my Dad Impala within 5 minutes the guys started working on it and in less than 2 hours it was ready to go. My dad was very happy and satisfied with the tint on his car.

My family has been serviced here for all of our tint and they give great service.I initially had a few problems but the owner reached out to me to understand them and ended up fixing them. I had an issue with some debris in the front windshield, and the window behind the driver seat had peeled up at the corner less than a week in to having the tint applied.BUT the owner, Tom, really handled these problems with great professionalism and customer service. I would absolutely recommend this shop for any tinting needs.They do really great work and take care of their customers. I will continue coming here when i need any tint work done in the future.My car looks really sharp with the Tint they applied and i couldnt be more satisfied.

I had to replace the back quarter panel on my GTI after a vandalism incident. Mr Tint was quick to match the films shade from my other windows and got the job done very quickly! I am very happy with the job and will be back for future tint needs!

I had my previous car tinted and never had a problem with fading or turning purple after years. When I got a new car I felt like a vampire because I immediately missed my tint and it wasn’t even summer time haha! Had the new car tinted right after Christmas and it looks great. I had a small issue with the back windshield and when I brought it back to them they immediately took care of the problem with no issues. Customer service was excellent and my car not only looks better but I can go back to vampire status and protect my skin from the sun not to mention the benefits of heat reduction once it warms up!

These guys are awesome! They helped me solve a serious problem in which the sun was reflecting off my windows and damaging my cars parked in my driveway. The windows were magnifying the sun and I had no clue how to fix it. Mr. Tint came to my house and knew exactly what to do. They put a special tint on each window on that side of my house that prevents the sun from reflecting but is unnoticeable from either side.I also messed up a home DIY where I attempted to “frost” the inside of a shower window but Mr. Tint’s guys totally made it right.The guys were very professional and respectful. I’d not only recommend Mr. Tint but I’ll be hiring them again any time I have future needs.

I had Mr. Tint apply tint to the windows in my home and I am very pleased. They were neat and courteous and finished when promised. The tint has done as promised and reduced the sun on my furniture and hard woods as well as reducing the heat of the afternoon sun. The added bonus was the finished look it gave the exterior of my house. I would recommend this company.

Every piece of the customer service experience was excellent. Never gone to get my windows tinted and they were wonderful to work with. The lady working the front has only been there for two days, but I would have thought she had been there for years.

Waste of time....I have used them in Charleston in the past and had fantastic service. Unfortunately the Columbia location was not as smooth. I dropped my car off at 8am paid $250 dollars cash then came back at 4:30pm to pick it up and was told it would be another 2 hours... over ten hours for 4 windows and the back glass.... I am sure they do good work however I never had the opportunity to experience it. Very disappointed.They seem like nice people but I couldnt waste anymore time on this.I would recommend another group.

We had Mr. Tint install some tint for our barbershop. The staff was amazing. From the time they answered the phone to the crew that came and installed. I could not have asked for a better experience. I have used Mr.Tint for multiple services and they have done a fantastic job on all on them. I put the 3M night vision on my house for privacy, and the 3M safety film on all the first level windows and doors for break-in protection. I also used them for my Mercedes S550 after reading reviews that 3M is the highest quality automotive film. My car looked so good that I took my wifes escalade as well. I also got the clear paint protection put on both of them. Ever service was done well and the service was very friendly, would definitely recommend them.

I cant say I disliked Mr. Tint, since I never had the opportunity to use the firm.I had called and set an appointment for their representative to come to my home. I had already decided that 3M was the product I wanted and I wanted to use a local contractor. All I needed was help with which 3M product to install and get a price.They never came at the agreed upon time & date and never called to say they could not make the appointment.Their loss. I contracted with a company out of Charlotte (Ft. Mill, SC, branch). I suspect Mr. Tint, which would have had to travel a much shorter distance, could have done it for less than the $4,000 I was quoted. But price was not my major concern. Getting the work done was!

When I read these negative reviews sometimes I wonder if someone has it out for this place. I have been multiple times (multiple vehicles) and my house. Every single time they have done an outstanding job. The guys that I deal with most times (in the shop in Columbia) are the best I have ever dealt with. In fact, I just had my brand new car that was done (and redone) somewhere else in there for Mr. Tint to fix. I would rather pay out of pocket to Mr. Tint than to deal with anyone else. My experience was extremely different than what I found posted here in these reviews. Professional / Detailed / and Courteous every time I have been.

My 85 year old mother called this bunch of unprofessional imbeciles two weeks ago to honor their lifetime warranty and re-tint the front storm door to her home.The gal who apparently runs the store (Valerie?) tried to tell my mother that the warranty has changed and that its no longer lifetime but for 15 years only. My mother replied that, even so, shes still under warranty as the tint is barely 14 years old.They finally sent one of their lackeys (Chuck) over to her house. As soon as he got there he tried to tell my mother that the door was fine and didnt need re-tinting, despite the fact that the tint on the door is 14 years old and quite obviously faded. When my mother insisted that he re-tint the door, this idiot got angry, told her that the cost of the job would come out of his pocket, stormed out of the house (slamming the door in the process) and went to his truck.After several minutes, he returned and very rudely told my mother that he would re-tint the door but would only apply the new tint over the old tint. When my mother asked him if that was standard practice and if putting the new over the old would last he became belligerent and started berating her about how hes been doing this job for 15 years and knows his business. He then went on to apply the new tint over the old and left without saying anything to my mother or leaving her any kind of paperwork to document the work.First off, its a good thing I wasnt there when this happened. This group of morons is notorious around Columbia for being rude, obnoxious, and unethical. I will say this, though... if the new tint begins to peal or otherwise show signs of degradation due to the way it was applied, I will go to this store myself and dare them to give me the rash of crap that they gave an 85 year old woman.I would strongly urge anyone who needs window tinting done to steer clear of these first class A-holes. How they stay in business is beyond me.

This establishment has the most rude, unprofessional girl manning the front desk. If they value business and their reputation, they will either get her some proper training, or get rid of her altogether. I will never go there again and will advise all that I come into contact with of the same. Her attitude will cost them more than she is worth!!

I inquired and they said $400 for full sedan vehicle. I recommend Palmetto pro tint through Groupon just for $166.

I was told that I would be accommodated to get the windows tinted on a 4 door sedan car. While enroute to Mr Tint I called to confirm the availability approximately 2:15. After arriving to the shop at 2:30 I was told that the technician was leaving early and come back tomorrow.

As soon as I opened my car door I smelled a terrible odor that consumed my entire car. It smelled beyond bad body odor. The upholstery was wet and there were soap streaks and spots dripping down the sides of the door panels and across the top of the back seat. The receptionist came out and tried to clean the spots with pledge! I’d never recommend this place to anyone...

This will be a long comment...My husband purchased my dream car for our 20th wedding anniversary which was 4 almost 5 years ago. It was a 2014 Ford Mustang 5.0 and it only has approximately 15,000 miles. We discussed getting the windows tinted and he said he would only take it to “Mr Tint” cause they were the best in town.Well Monday, October 9, 2017 he took my car to Mr Tint. I was so excited about getting the windows tinted. When he got the mustang back he called me extremely disappointed and disgusted...I thought he was joking. Due to my husband being retired from paint and bodywork (he worked in that field over 20 years) he showed me where the the technician had razor cuts to the metal and there were a lot of bubbles.Since Monday my husband has been calling up to Mr Tint requesting to speak to the owner and up until now the owner has not been available neither has a call been returned. I will NEVER recommend Mr Tint to anyone and if I hear someone saying that’s where they are going I will discourage them from making that mistake! This is very unprofessional and unacceptable!My husband called to speak with the owner of MrTint due to the damages the technician made to my car. Apparently the owner doesn’t like facing customers because he stated he was coming to look at the damages on Monday, October 16th which he never showed up...NO CALL/NO SHOW( a man that doesn’t keep his word is a man that cannot be trusted)! My husband called the owner this morning on his cell phone and asked him to come to our home to see the damages, (Thursday, October 19th). Keep in mind the windows on my mustang were tinted Monday, October 9, 2017, I can say he is a true South Carolina business man cause he did take up for his technicians; even though, it wasn’t the truth and I can appreciate that. We are not trying to get something for nothing...that is not the kind of people we are, we just want the wrong made right. The value of my car has now been compromised due to ignorance or a lack of respect for someone’s property. THIS IS MY OPINION!!!
