Tinted my 2015 Malibu in 45min & came out PERFECT! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Called, got in the same day, in and out within 2 hours. Great work.

Called to get 1 Window tinted at 4:41pm and they refused saying they close at 5pm even tho Google has customers in route until 6pm. They refuse to acknowledge this and confirm they would update Google times so others wouldn’t waste there afternoon coming here

Went here once for my truck windows. decent price and quick service. lots of sketchy dudes walking around...and occasional smell of weed. went there 4 times to get my wifes car done, couldnt get in. Today, I was told to show up at 8:30 and waited for over 45 minutes with no help. I wont waste my time here again.

Return visitor, old customer from out of town. Wanted to try new management as though it was an improvement. Found the same old deadheads who were always about a hustle. One man started the tint, and another carelessly finished it. Corner of front tint was cut off shorter than the other. It looked like a seesaw. Capitol Tint inspected before I left, yet no one caught the silly error. I came right back to ask for a fix, but they dumped me into well work you in status. The mistake became more trouble when the boss would not agree to a practical time for me, other than their own convenience. (I was instructed to check back tomorrow. I was forced to drive to Charlotte and back down (180 miles total) for a resolution. No refunds, no discount. Ten gallons of gas, times $2.00 per gallon added up to $20 more dollars wasted on their bad service.

I took my expedition and my husbands focus there to be tinted because I had drive by an advertised special. I waited almost 7 hours for my truck to be done Only to have to come back today for them to fix my rear window that they messed up. I waited almost 2 hours only to find out they broke my rear defroster connector on the window. I told them I wasnt leaving till it was fixed. They tried to fix it with purple glue 2nd graders use at school. then told me they wouldnt fix it because I was fussing at them well yes i took my truck there in one condition i would expect to get it back the same way. So after I told them I wasnt leaving they decided to super glue it back on my windshield. When I had called a glass company they told me it would cost another $55 to get the connector replaced. DO NOTgo there if you want good quality work. I guess the saying really is true you get what you pay for cheap work cheap price extremely unprofessional and very rude

Took my dodge charger to get tinted.Worst mistake I ever did .Sloppy job poor customers service. Worst tint shop in Columbia.

They need a negative 10 stars! Do NOT use this place under any circumstance! I took my brand new vehicle here last week, they have “fixed” my tint, so to speak, three times and it is still awful! Bubbles, tint cut too short, streaking, adhesive left on my back window from where they took tint that they messed up off and replaced it, excessive adhesive on my left back window and now my defroster on my back window is not working! The first time they claimed to replace my tint I showed them the same problems in the tint as the first time and told them they did not replace my tint just tried to fix it and he says oh I’ll do it again! They don’t care what they do to and how they leave your vehicle! The owner is never there and his “fill in” man as he said he was is no help either! I wanted a refund which of course they said they don’t give, but if it’s an issue that they created your refund should be given! I told him I wanted the tint removed, but at this point I’m gonna count my losses and pay to have the tint removed and replaced at a facility that doesn’t have a representation such as this one! I regret not reading reviews and BBB complaints before using them! I will post pictures tomorrow!

I made an appointment and took off work to get my car windows tinted. I get there About 315. The guy was like can u come back tomorrow. They guys have to much work today. Really??? Very unprofessional. If course Im going elsewhere.

I was originally warned about coming to this place, but I gave them a chance an Im glad I did. I have no complaints. The tint looks great on my car...no peeling or anything so Im happy. Thanks Capitol Window Tinting!!

You get what you pay for (bubbles everywhere). Just pay a few extra dollars to get I done right somewhere else.

So I just called these people... and wanted to know how much it would cost to have my windows retinted since the job they did the first time has faded already ... buddy told me if I have my warranty it’ll be free if not $150 ... my thing is and I said to him well a warranty wasn’t offered to me when I got them done ... he didn’t care so I guess they won’t care that I’ll take my money elsewhere either ...

Great tint service with quality work. The work could be neater, cleaner, and better. They left a bunch of sand and dirt inside my truck, along with the water marks from the steam to melt the old tint off.

Awful !! I had two cars done and in less then a week after, the tint had to be redone. One was redone and still not right!! Still peeling. What I will say is one guy is always nice and willing to make it better. But the other guy seems to have a bad attitude All the time.

I was recommended by a friend to come here to get my windows tinted. The first time the tint started to bubble and peel in three days. I took it back and they did it over. In two weeks the same thing happen. The owner was nonchalant about it, like it was not unusual to see someone come back a second or third time. Each time I took it back, there was at less four other people there for problems with their tint after 2 or 3 days. I had them to remove it so I can take it to another place. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE TO GET YOUR WINDOWS TINTED!!

I was told to get my front two windows tinted would take no more than 20 min. I was told my wait would be less than one hour. I arrived at 10:42. My truck was taken in the bay 8:05, it is now 1:03 and they are just checking my windows for bubbles. THEY LIE ABOUT TIME FRAME!!!!!

I had to have it redone. There were bubbles and the service was bad. My car got scratched and no one cared or offered to fix it. It smelled like weed and service was poor

I took my car to get tint done by the time I got home it had bubbled up. I took it back that Tuesday they fixed it. By the time I got down the street it had bubbled up again. I took it back they fixed it. This time when I got down the street all the tint came off. I’ll go some place else to get it fixed.

Do not let these people near your vehicle. They have no interest in doing quality work. I had my windows done the day after Thanksgiving 2018, the next day I noticed the defects in the tint job. I went in on Monday morning and they said come back on Saturday. I went back to let them fix the issues, and ended up with almost as bad of a tint job the second time. I went back the following Wednesday, and they said bring it in on Saturday(12/8/18). I got there this morning, and they tried to blame me for the defects in the tint job. I stated that they need to fix it or I will have to get my attorney involved, and they simply said fine, call your lawyer. Ive done that, and my bank is disputing the charge on my credit card, they have pictures and the receipt, and so does my attorney. All they had to do was install the tint correctly the first time, now theyre risking their business over a botched $180 tint job.

Absolutely WORSE DECISION I EVER MADE!!!! I chose this place to tint the windows on my then brand new Nissan. I got 5% tint which started fading to the point where it looks like i never got tint at all. I took it back to them and they said “ you have your receipt?” I’m like no i don’t because i didn’t think it would fade. I decided to leave it alone because i didn’t feel like dealing with the situation or them anymore. Save yourself the trouble and pick a tint business that is more professional!

Good job so far but they stole my iPhone charger that I left inside. I’m 100% sure because I remember seeing it before hand and after driving off I needed it and it was gone. What else could I have done? They would’ve denied it.

Please do not go to this place. piss poor performance. The tint last about a year on my vehicle. My back window looks absolutely horrible. Bubbles everywhere. My driver side window has small little bubbles in it. I took my vehicle back to this place to see if they would replace the tint. The guys there told me I was out of luck, and they couldnt do anything for me, I even had the receipt with warranty in hand. They told me they will discount 40$ but they still have to charge me 80$ to remove the tint and 140$ to re-tint. Please do not waist your money! If I could I will give them a negative 5 stars!

Took my car there 3 times. Eventually gave up. Poor quality products and workmanship. They do honor their warranty. But then they say the bubbles will go away, they wont.

If I could give them 0 stars I would!! Never go here!! The tiny didnt Las 2months, they burned my car and didnt even clean the glue off before tinting!! Terrible business!!

I wish I could give this place negative stars.I brought my new car to them because they had done a great job on my old car. I paid for them to put the tint on my windows & after I waited 4 days for their solution to dry, I rolled down my windows & the tint started peeling. I took my car back to get fixed & they told me it would take 3 hours & I needed to make an appt. Being military & a student meant I didnt have time to leave my car there for 3 hours so when I finally had a chance to take it in to get fixed, I left my car there for 3 hours, just to have them put the wrong tint on my car. I didnt realize this until a day or two later, so I had to go back up there to get them to fix this problem. when I went back, they only fixed 2 Windows after saying they would fix all of them. so I waited again while they only fixed 2 more windows. by this time they are upset with me for expecting them to actually do their job right & they are talking bad about me in their little garage where I could still see them. so, they apparently didnt know their tint percentages, because they were telling me that a certain percentage was what I asked for when it wasnt even close. I told them they still had the back window wrong & they told me that one was never changed because it wasnt a problem. instead of wasting any more of my time, I decided that was it. even though I let them keep the money I paid, Im still having problems with my tint starting to peel once again. I will say the people who did my new car are not the same ones who did my old car. these people are incompetent & shouldnt even be in business. quality is clearly optional at this place. dont waste your money or time going here.

I give them no stars. This was the worst experience ever. The waiting room had no air conditioning, we were waiting an eternity for my car to be done then come to find out they were just standing around goofing off. Then they cut out around the light in the rear windshield which looks totally retarded and no other car I have seen has this done. The rear windows have a gap from the window edge to the tint and then to top it all off they refused to correct it. Shady service and rude.

These are the ABSOLUTE WORST people to ever deal with. My tint job was prepaid and when I decided I did not want them to tint my windows, they refused to give the money back even though they had not tinted the windows yet. So I was forced to get the windows tinted in order not to lose out on the money. After I let them tint my windows they cut my rear defrost lines and tried to say he did not do that. And also there are bubbles and the tint on the back window is pealing off. These people are crooks and liars. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE OR TO THEIR LUGOFF STORE (WINDOW TINT & ACCESSORIES).

I didnt see these bad reviews till it was too late. We had already dropped our car off;) Honestly, these guy were the cheapest in Columbia at $90 for legal tint, lifetime warranty. Everyone else wanted $140-$250!!! Ours after a week looks just as good as any other job Ive ever had done. Theres a sign out front now that says under new management....that might be the reason for the better service. Good luck guys but Im happy for now.

DON’T GO!I took my BRAND NEW car to them twice and they damaged my car!First of all, they left my car dirty and the windows smeared with whatever the products they use. So, I had to ask for them to clean up their mess. After waiting the required number of days, I put my windows down but they wouldnt go back up! I brought it back and they were nonchalant. I had to travel to this place each time. When I noticed they tore my back seat, I immediately called the owner. I have called the owner repeatedly to rectify this and he won’t return any calls. When I ask his employees for a good time to reach him, they don’t seem to know…ever.

DOESNT DESERVE 1 STAR!!!Absolute horrible window tinting! PLEASE do not waste your money going to this place. Brought in my brand new car and left with shoe prints and trash in my leather seats along with an open razor blade that I almost sat on. My windows look like a 2 year old put the tint on. Was told to come back on Saturday by the owners son but of course he wasnt there when I came. Took the guys in the shop area over 25 minutes to acknowledge me standing there. Walked the guy to my car to show him all the bubbles and he just kept telling me that the owner wasnt there before walking away. My husband and I just ripped all the tint off and will be going to Palmetto Tint on Two Notch.

Took my focus st to them to have it tinted.The driver side window started to peel, so I took it back to get it fixed. Then it’s started to peel again but worse this time.When I took it back they told me they only do warranty work Monday-Wednesday. Now I have to ride around with a messed up window till I have time to get it fixed on one of those days. I would not recommend this business to anyone!

If I could rate this less than one star I would. I definitely regret not reading these reviews before going but if you have the fortune of coming across this prior to giving this shop a chance, DONT DO IT. I took my car to get tint that Friday morning, by the following Tuesday I had bubbles and the tint was peeling. Not to mention I found the razor that was used to perform the job in my driver seat a few days before this. I called and was advised I could bring my car in on Mon-Wed which are considered repair days,But the guy I talked to didn’t seem too interested in any of my concerns. I decided to chalk up my loss and go elsewhere to have new tint put on. The new tint shop told me this was a horrible tint job and I was the fourth car that day that came for new tint because this shop did a horrible job. When the tint was removed it literally peeled right off. A kid could’ve ripped it off, hence why it was peeling and bubbling in the first place. Save yourself some money, aggravation, time and a headache and avoid them altogether.

Paid 150 dollars to tint my car. Waited 4 hours and there wasnt but me and another customer. To make matters worse the tint has faded and is clear. Before the tint went ghost there was alot of air bubbles. Took my car back to get it fixed with my receipt and they wouldnt fix it. Hasnt even been a year and my car looks stock. DONT GO THERE!

Drove by and wasnt busy so I stopped in and talked to the new management about tint. They performed the work for $135 and said that not to roll the windows down for 4 days. After about 2 days I noticed bubbles and there cuts sucked. I went back and showed the new management and he said come back in 7 days that bubbles and cuts are normal and the would expand the tint, pretty much told me not to worry. I waited 6 days before putting the top down and rolling the windows down and the tint literally fell off! By far the worst job I have ever seen! I brought it over to 48 hour tinting Mr tint guy and they were shocked! I had paid for 5% but the other tint place told me it wasnt 5% it was 20%. Big difference! I have a warranty on the tint and I decided not to go back. Oh in 6 days the tint turned purple also! They left my car a mess, and broke the A/C vent somehow.. DO NOT GO HERE! It might be cheap up front but you will pay double in a week having it done somewhere else. Blows my mind how they rip people off and get away with it! I SAY AGIAN DO NOT GO HERE! I have started a complaint process with the business Bureau and have spoke with legal on fort jackson to have this place blacklisted. I hate the feeling of being ripped off and I dont think people should live there lives that way! This company has started a war!

Terrible. The cheap tint will fade to almost clear within a year, they will leave your car dirty and smelling like sour mop water. Bubbles and fingers will be left from not shrinking the rear windshield properly.

Damage my NEW vehicle......Had to jump thru loops to get it fix (3 weeks) and then they act as if I was bothering them. I live at least 35 miles away and had to go to Decker at least 5 times and they trust to have an attitude. Back window tint had to be replace twice. The side window have bubbles. Horrible experience with this business. Businesses and people do not make mistakes but it is how you handle and correct the mistakes. CUSTOMER SERVICE is number 1. You want find it at Capitol Window.

Terrible. Do not go here. Ive taken my car back three different times to get the tint fixed after they initially messed it up the first time I took my car there and they still have not fixed it. They made me wait 7 hours to get the tint done the first time. And today they said they were open only Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Well what do you do the other days of the week?! Get your moneys worth and go somewhere professional that has a lifetime warranty for your tint. This place is not worth it.

The quality of the tint used is horrible, even after the tint dries for about a month you will have hard water spots under your film and it will look like your window is spotted especially at night when light hits the window tint. They refused to refund so do yourself a favor and spend an extra $10 and go somewhere else

WORSE tint i have ever had done!!! Bubbles everywhere and cut alllllllll wrong!! I have a brand new car with 11 miles on it...i took it to them and they trashed the inside and did not clean the inside where they did my tint!! I went back to complain and ask them to take it off and give me my money back and they said NO refunds!!!! Very rude and made the excuse we are human we make mistakes!!!! After i spent 5 hours waiting to get my tint done i am affraid to get it done again by them and they charged me $140!!!!!!!

Cheap for a reason. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Going to sue for damaging my vehicle, and for the money it cost for me to take it somewhere else to have them remove the crappy tint, and replace with quality product. After it drys (40 days) your left with small water spots under your tint film and it looks awful.

There crooks and should be locked up for scamming people with this cheap ebay tint. Go to mr tint and pay a little more for quality work.
