DO NOT RENT FROM ALURI - This company takes complete advantage of its student tenants. The property was in horrendous conditions upon our move-in and the landlord failed to take proper action to repair the unit during our lease. Maintenance done to the properties is putting lipstick on a pig also known as never solving the actual problem. The management looks to squeeze every penny out of their properties without investing a single dollar back into them. Our unit constantly smelled like mold, had burn marks all over the walls and carpets and we were forced to pay increased utility bills because of the out-dated appliances and the sealing around the doors and windows let humidity in nearly every room. This company knows its one of the few renters for off-campus houses in Columbia and uses their monopolistic tactic to force students to pay ridiculous rent prices for far below fair conditions.

I’d have to agree with the majority here on if a 0 was possible they would deserve it. There are always constant issues with the apartments and there is no sense of urgency getting anything fixed. Not only that they are understaffed in running this rental business and it is pathetic we have to pay rent for this kind of treatment. Currently we have an electrical issue within the house that cut off our power, and still 24 hours later no one is here to fix it. Terrible.... save your money and rent someplace decent.

Apartment needed painting and serious cleaning before move in. Had problems with roaches several times throughout the lease. Left the apartment much cleaner than move in condition and the owner did not give back full security deposit. Very disappointed overall and would not recommend.

Our daughter is living in one of their houses. Do NOT recommend. They don’t attend to problems — the windows have been broken or boarded up for more than a month since she moved in. The “security” system is a joke — there is supposed to be one for the doors but it hasn’t worked since they moved in. They still don’t know the code. The only thing the landlord seems to care about is how many cars are parked outside. I am so mad about this landlords inability to provide what they advertise. They take advantage of parents and students because there is not much to rent.

Full of roaches,IrresponsibleDeducted about 120 dollars from my deposit money when I moved without telling me why. Tried to contact, didn’t reply.
