This is by far the worst waste pick up company I have ever experienced! They’ve missed pickup too many times to count. And every time they miss, it’s your responsibility to contact them to report it right a way. Or they won’t pick it up. It’s hard to believe that their management doesn’t really care. Because if they did I’m sure they wouldn’t be so unreliable. So frustrated with this company. Time to try to find another company.👎
I have been calling twice a day since Monday regarding a missed pick up... I have never in my life had so many rude people speak to me. I was told Monday my trash would be picked up and was told everyday this week the same and its not getting done!! Paying for something and not getting what you paid for is theft... Going to sign a complaint with the BBB...
Have been trying to reach this company for over a week just to SET UP SERVICE!!! it is almost impossible to get anything but a busy signal from the only number they make available. I got through once, sat on hold for almost 20 minutes and got disconnected. Got through only one other time and left a message that still has not been returned. There is no other contact info available anywhere I can find for this company. I do not know what Lexington county expects people to do when they force us to use a single company that has no competition and thus no reason to even provide the service they are in business for, much less provide competitive rates or decent customer service. I feel like I would do better to give a kid with a truck $20/month to take my trash to the landfill than use this horrible excuse of a business.
Why is it so difficult for this company to come and get the trash the day they are required to? Instead it seems to be an EVERY OTHER week pickup. If Im paying you for a service then do your job and provide it.
By far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. It took 2 months to get trash cans delivered to our house. Then I was being charged prior to the trash cans even being delivered. Asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor and have never had one call me back. After paying for 3 months of service, a month and a half in to the 3 months I am getting past due notices. If there is another option definitely go for that instead of this company.

Over the past 2 years the level of quality/professional service has eroded to the point that I am now willing to simply haul all of my garbage and yard waste into town to dump. I have to call monthly to let them know my garbage isnt being picked up and sometimes I have to call twice. Im sick of dealing with this company.
Worst company to work with I pay for services that include yard waste pickup and they have not picked up now for two weeks I keep emailing and calling and keep getting the same thing “ we are behind in our pickup” they lie to you saying they will be there on a certain day and guess what they never show. I’m through with paying them and their service. I’ll take care of my own trash now and take it to the landfill. The hell with this company!
This company is absolutely terrible. They will not contact you back, no Matter if by phone or email. They can’t even manage to process a payment in which they have cc info on file. The communication is the worst I’ve ever experienced in any industry.

Until the last few mo our Wed service was on time. Now I never know WHEN any of our wkly services will b picked up. Email address given is invalid. Left message & no return call. # stays busy. Total frustration! But if I’m late making pmt I get charged $5 fee!!
The worse! Ive lived in this neighborhood for 3 months and cant seem to get trash cans from this company. Theyre the only company that serves my neighborhood. Each month, someone tells me that Ill get my trash cans delivered...havent received one yet!
Awful customer service. Dont respond to emails, dont respond to phone calls. Havent picked up the yard trash in over 2 weeks for my entire neighborhood..... Everyone is complaining. They evidently dont care. At this point I feel like they owe me a refund because Im having to haul the trash to the dump myself when I have already paid them to do it...
Waste Industries is quite possibly the WORST company on the planet. They have not once shown up to collect garbage, provide all the wrong account information, they have not answer a single phone call or email I have sent. DO NOT do business with them.
Don’t waste your time or money on this company!!!! They suck! Lexington county needs to find a better contract with a better business!! No trash pick up. Have to call them to get your trash picked up. They only tell you one thing and don’t do it.

With the reviews I have similar complaints. We are paying for a service not be rendered efficiently. Therefore we should have a say on who we contracted to provide service. I believe a petition should be started for the retraction of their contract and demand better services from another company and demand a restructuring of management from the top down!
After we moved to Gilbert, Waste Industries never came to pick up our trash on the day they were suppose to. I had to call them the next day and sometimes they would pick it up the next day and sometimes I had to call over and over. After awhile they stoped returning my calls and I was forced to cancel the service. Well they sure picked up their cans on time after I canceled like they actually wanted me to do that. All of my neighbors had the same experience.

Debris from yard clearing has been on the side of my road for almost 1 month!Numerous calls and online messages. They promise to pick up and nothing happens. Even received a callback but AGAIN no one shows up at my house. Are you serious? Losers. I never even once had to call Advanced Disposal - I miss you.
They are a sorry company. Nobody will ever answer the phone and half the time our trash has not been picked up. Dont waste your time with this horrible company they should be out of bussiness.
Have had issues with them the entire time since my neighborhood was switched from Waste Management. Terrible at communication. Not consistent with when they actually pick up trash. They send a bill every 3 months. I forgot one quarter. Just took the trash can and cancelled the service with no reminder about the balance. When I called to get it turned back on, the CSR had a terrible attitude. I asked her why if I have paperless billing would they not send me an email reminder and she said one was mailed out. Couldn’t tell me when. They’re awful. Would not recommend this service to anyone.
Terrible customer service & communication! They cancel services w/no notice during COVID, charge a fee to reinstate services & don’t return cans for 3wks!!! It’s a shame they are contracted by Lex county! A little competition would force better service!!!
May be the worst private company Ive ever done business with. Moved to Gilbert and signed up for their weekly service. In one month of service, my can was only picked up once. It was simply left at the curb full of trash each week, even after calling and inquiring about the issue. We finally decided to cancel the service, and the only compensation offered was a $5 credit for three missed weeks of service. The time and fuel spent taking my garbage to the county landfill for those three weeks was worth much more than $5. We were warned by others that it was not worthwhile to give them a shot and we tried anyway. Their reputation truly preceded them. Management should be ashamed of themselves. I will make every effort to spread the word about my experience,.
Terrible service. High priced and they don’t come half of the time. Phone is constantly busy or no one answers. Lexington needs to find a new contractor.
They missed yard waste pickup for a couple weeks and after several calls about them missing the entire street they send a truck at 6:00 at night to pick up and the driver says he has no room on his truck and leaves. Horrible customer service and absolutely no care about taking care of the paying customer. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!
We received no notification of transfer of service from Advanced Disposal to Waste Industries. We received no billing statements. The only reason we found out this change occurred was because we needed to report a broken garbage can. It was at this time that we were informed our account was on hold for lack of payment.Further digging, we found out that Waste Industries had the wrong mailing address on file. An address which we never used for any kind of garbage service. Waste Industries made no other apparent attempt to get in touch with us.We didnt think anything of the lack of bills as we had set up automatic payments with our previous service provider. Garbage was still being picked up giving us no other indication that anything was wrong. If this hadnt have been caught when it had, we would have been completely flummoxed when service was eventually halted.While Waste Industries is not entirely at fault for this (thanks Advanced Disposal), it is still reprehensible they made no attempt to reach out to us about this blunder.
I ordered our new service two weeks ago tomorrow. We were told that we would have our new cans with in a week, as of today, we still do not have trash cans to put our trash in. I have been on hold for almost 20 minutes and they are having trouble getting into their system to help me at all. There needs to be a better system in place. They said they cannot assist me and will have to call me back. Not a good start....

I dont do bad reviews on service providers but these guys do not care of customers, its been few times where i have to bring the garbage myself to the public dumps, and they do not have the decency to answer calls, they should not be allowed to do business in Lexington County
Hoping to upgrade this rating in time. But they went up $7 per month and the service is the same so far at best. My trash can lid can loose and they took the top and left me with just the can with no top. It filled up with rain and I had to call in to get a new one ordered. While on hold the first operator hung up so I had to call back. 2nd lady was super nice and helpful tho. Lets hope they are worth the price increase and a better rating moving fwd
Charge extra money for no service provided? No thanks. Been over a month and our bins (especially recycling) are still full. Youll empty the cans when you realize im not paying you for barbaric services. Tried to call company many times to discuss, couldnt get through. Id rather pay my neighbors $10 on top of the $55.95 just to ride to the dump down the street and to make a point that youre not the only fish in this pond. Id rather have back the company they bought out...at least they somewhat did their jobs.Update: after numerous attempts to contact you guys, you sent my bill to collections. Finally reached someone via chat window who asked for my number and said they would review the bill and call me back asap. Told them to come and get the bins. Still no call. Just walked outside and personally witnessed the truck skip my house. Driver stared me down as he went by. I have full bins, and you still expect me to pay?! Ha! Certainly not after this! Ive talked to many others who are being treated the same way. Youre fired, and if you proceed to charge me..Ill see you in court...and trust me, Im not going alone. Ive already given you guys all of the contact information you need. Were done, here.Further update: I found the email that was sent from the chat advisor. The company has now changed my account balance to $0.00 and will come pick up their bins. Thank you for that much, at least.
Trying to get service. Ive called for over a week and got no answer, so last week I signed up on line for confirmation #529813. Still no trash cans and no call back!!!!!! Could someone please call me back or deliver cans!
I called with some questions because I suspected the information I got from Advanced Disposal (before the switch) was wrong. Sure enough, Ad Disposal gave me the wrong info. Waste Industries answered the call quickly, there was no wait time, and customer service was satisfactory. Trash pick up wise, we’ve never had any issues. They always pick up, unlike Ad Disposal.
Honestly, I feel a little reluctant about writing this review. For one, I rarely write reviews. And secondly, Waste Industries has already exhausted enough of my time and this review of them will exhaust more of my time. I think the only other company I spent this much of “my” time trying to get “their” mistake resolved was AT&T U-verse. However, I realize how useful reviews are to the consumer. Consumers who work all day to come home to trash wasted in their drive-way.....then realize that they can’t even get in their trash filled driveway because the trash bin that was originally placed on the side....is now laying flat.....horizontally across their driveway. Consumers who work hard to pay for services that are not rendered when promised.....especially after it has been discovered that it was actually an oversight of the company. This is the 3rd time they missed a trash pick-up by the way......I’m just now complaining about it. Consumers who don’t appreciate waiting on hold for 23 minutes just to speak to a representative ...then spend the next 3-4 days following up after still not receiving service that were promised by the company. A company is only as good as their word. If the company fails to keep their word, it’s only fair that you as a consumer search elsewhere for a company who will make good on their word.....always. After all, it is the consumers who keep these companies in business and their employees paid. It’s frustrating, time consuming, and useless for the consumer to chase down a company over a promise “they” made but didn’t keep. However, the company does live up to their name, Waste Industries. They waste trash all over the place and they’re equally trained at wasting your time. I’m here to avoid consumers from allowing this company to also waste your hard earned money. If I could rate a negative star I would. Was with Andvanced Disposal which were absolutely amazing. Bought out by these guys no warning until I payed my bill and advanced disposal sent my check back. Then recieved a letter stating I havent payed a bill and will be sent to collections without any notification. Immediately called waste industries were they sent a letter and with new account number and everything which wasnt the case. Payed him over the phone received the new routing number and had it taken care off. When I finally got my bill payed with that account number. Now just recieved the collections stating I havent payed them and I have never missed a payment on anything in my entire life. About to go to the site cancel services and go with Tylers sanitation which I would recommend. This place will be reported by the better business bureau. Do not work with this place horrible customer service and nothing gets resolved.

Yard trash is still sitting out. This is not the first time I have had to call them about it. Supposed to be picked up on Tuesday. A neighbor said his yardtrash has been picked up on a Friday.I was told by a rep that they were the lowest bidder and won the contract.IT SHOWS ON A WEEKLY BASIS!Got an e-mail from Google about my review. Called them onWed. 7/24/19 and and told them AGAIN the yard trash was still not picked up. She asked me IF MY CONTAINER WAS MARKED. Told her it was the only can out front. She said she would put in a work order.Thursday morning, still out there. Also had to tell her that I WAS NOTSUPPOSED TO CALL THEM. They are really DENSE.
Wasnt informed that my trash service would be switching companies. I only found out when I received a past due notice from a company that I had no correspondence with. When I paid the past due notice it apparently didnt indicate my desire for continued trash service. I came home to discover that my bins had been taken because Waste Industries owns the bins. Now I need to pay for the quarter of trash service and a restart fee for collection. I would like to take my business elsewhere but they are the only trash service for my area. A trash company for trash service.

I have had service for less than 8 months and on three different occassions they have failed to provide pick up service. Its them almost impossible to get a customer service representative on the line to assist with contacting dispatch for pickup.
Absolutely horrible company to be forced to do business with. Took my cans twice now, first time was their fault for not transferring my name to the new account. This time was their fault also for not giving me a bill period before just taking them. Cant stand these trash cans
I just so happen to be looking out of the window from my office and watched one of their workers throw back something from the truck and smashed to pieces all over my yard and rode in front of my house. No one came to pick it up and no one apologize for that. If I left something all over the road for them to pick up they would not do it. Why do the same to me?
This new company picking up my trash is a joke. Trash bill went up and they are not picking up on the scheduled days they set. Wish Advanced Disposal was still my provider.
They are intentionally not sending out the bill so we have to pay late fees. I want to pay by using doxo but it does not show the amount that needs to be payed.
