Sylvan Learning Center has been more than wonderful for our two girls. We are seeing vast improvement with reading and math as well as boosting their confidence. Both girls love attending Sylvan, they say the sessions help them to learn better and be better. The instructors break down the information and process so they are able to grasp and understand the material. The staff is knowledgeable, dedicated and kind. The manager, Cindy is wonderful and easy to deal with, very professional. All COVID safety protocols are in place and appreciate that the staff use clear face shields so the children are able to see the whole face. We will continue to use Sylvan for reinforcement once our girls have met their goals. I would recommend Sylvan to anyone because we have had a positive experience and continue to see academic growth in our girls.

Jazarie was skeptical initially but began calling me soon after I left work to make certain I was on the way so she wouldnt be late to Sylvan. She loves attending each session and learning how to better approach her troubled areas. She has more confidence and a bigger smile. Thank you Sylvan team.

Cindy the director is personally invested in making sure each child receives the tutoring they need to succeed. She cares that the children learn whats needed to get them to the grade level they need to be on. The instructors are patient, engaged and they take time to make sure the child understands before they move to something else.

My son is 8 and is attending Sylvan for the first time. He loves it! He chooses to go twice a week for an hour each time. The staff is excellent and he loves meeting new kids there. The teachers are helping my son freshen up in math and literacy skills this year. I highly recommend Sylvan!

My family are happy and satisfied with Sylvan Learning Center. As a parent, I felt like my son was not getting the support he needed from his school. After meeting with a Sylvan representative and discussing results from the assessment, they created a cost effective plan that would best fit my sons needs. My son has been with Sylvan for the past two years. As a parent, I was elated to see my son excel academically as result of the Sylvan learning center program, but I was extremely happy that Sylvan has changed his outlook on learning and school. The staff at the Irmo Sylvan center is great to work with, they really care about the children. From the first phone call they explain the process of testing and tutoring that they will provide for your child. This is my second experience at Sylvan and they are still a great program. I would recommend this center to anyone that has a child struggling with school.

Friendly and knowledgable staff. We are still new to the center, but it appears the environment is working great for my 7yo daughter. Her reading is getting better after each visit. I will add more once I have some concrete evidence of success. But so far so good.

Sylvan Learning Center has offered an amazing learning experience for my rising first grader. The instructors develop a personal curriculum to meet each childs needs. The reading program has increased my childs confidence as well as his eagerness to learn. He is very excited about entering the first grade this year!
