Overall, it was an okay experience. I brought in my computer because the display wasn’t working. They nicely explained what was going on, etc. They determined they would need to send it off and they would have it back in 5-7 business days. Fine, whatever. What is NOT OKAY is the price they were going to charge for it. $672.75! On top of that they said they would recommend backing up my computer. This would cost $200 for the back up, then another $100 to restore the backup after they got the computer back. That totaled up to being $972.75! You can buy a new one for only a little more. Because of this, I said forget it and just asked to have my desktop files out on a flash drive. Here’s the next problem: it cost me $100/ hour for them to put the files on the drive and I had to bring my own flash drive. That costs way too much and shouldn’t take that much time. Heck, I can borrow a portal display and put my own files on a flash drive and get my stuff done for free! They also need to work on getting back to customers quicker.
The built in camera on my macbook went out. Gravity worked with Apple to get this fixed extremely fast! Super happy with their service.
Gravity provided a great service to me when I needed my phone fixed. The service got done way sooner than I expected and it was an easy process. I will definitely use them again for my other phone needs.
I’ve used Gravity twice recently - once to service my MacBook Pro laptop and once to come to my home to help with some printer issues. Both times everyone was fast, efficient, and extremely professional. I will definitely use them again!
Very good quality service, locally given, at a fair price.
Tried getting my iPhone 11 pro screen replaced. They stripped out my bottom pentalobe screw after they had my phone for 10 minutes and tried to place the blame elsewhere. Said they wouldnt be able to fix my phone but would have to send it in to apple to see if it can be replaced.
I am so thankful for the work that Jonathan Sessions and Gravity did creating a fully online workspace for my team at COMO Magazine and Columbia Marketing Group. My team of 14 have been able to seamlessly communicate and access all company files from the safety and comfort of their homes. Due to Jonathan and his team for not only helping us convert to Google for Business but also in setting up my new office network, we were able to make the call to work remotely very early on and enact it in the same moment. He also installed my new security cameras and taught me how to access them from my phone anytime. If he needs to train us to avoid user error, he does. If he needs to jump in and help, he is on it immediately. Truly...if its tech related, hes my guy.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! We were told that it would be done by 5pm, unless there were other issues, but they would call if that was the case. We said ok, and told them we were from over an hour away and would wait for it. He said that we would be getting communication on its process throughout the day. We got: two: one that said that it was received and the second that they were working on it. We called 2 hours later and they said it was still being worked on. Then we called again at 4pm and they didnt answer, then called again at 4:30, then again at 5 and still no answer. We drove back to store (it is now 5:30) and the man inside just looked at us without coming to the door, eventually he came and said they were closed (according to website they closed at 6pm). We told him that we never got our computer back and we waited all day for it. He said that even if it was done he couldnt check us out, but we had already paid the $150 for them to work on it so dont understand that comment. We told them that we werent from town and then he finally went to look at it and came back 5 minutes later to say that it was still being worked on and he was sorry. This is not good service! COMMUNICATE with your customers! Now we have to make the drive back and forth again, after spending the entire day in Columbia waiting today. Take the time to drive to KC to an actual APPLE STORE, which we have done in the past with good results, but the wait time was a few days longer. Next time we will definitely wait!
Great help. Willing to let me come in early for my appointment since I was running early.
Excellent service.I was sent emails letting me why my laptop was not working and what their recommendations were.Repair cost was very reasonable.I have not had any issues with my Mac.I will definitely use Gravity again!Saved me a trip to St Louis!
Helping me keep my 2011 MBPro alive, thanks.
I absolutely regret choosing Gravity to repair my Mac.1) The customer is always right -- whatever the opposite of that is, I suspect that is their motto. It was an uphill battle with them the entire time. Dont believe me? Look at all the other reviews here.2) The charge book rates for work like an automotive shop, so if something takes 3 seconds to fix, they will bill you an ENTIRE HOUR ($100) -- EVEN IF you are already paying them labor to fix another issue on the same machine.3) I paid them ~$900 to replace my logic board. I asked them to also replace the fan given the noise. I had to ask FOUR times. They simply ignored me the first three times. The first time was when I brought the machine in, I even had a paper TAPED TO THE MACHINE saying I need a new fan. Then three more times I asked in the online ticket software. They finally agreed, said the price for the fan is $30 (fine) but it will be $100 in labor -- even though the case was already open and its literally just THREE SCREWS.4) I asked another Authorized Apple Retailer for a second opinion on Gravitys billing: This is nonsense. The fan has to come out to replace the logic board, why on earth would we charge extra labour to replace it, that’s nuts. You’d have the cost of the part (if you agree to it) extra, that’s it. Even if the fan wasn’t noticed until after the board was fitted it’s only 3 screws to remove it again.5) They replaced the fan, but didnt use any of the remaining hour to clean the fan ducts or related so now my Mac f****ing WHISTLES at 2300 RPM (which isnt even max). Like they didnt even test the fan at high RPM or they didnt care it sounds bad. Like it plays an actual music note the whistle is that clear.6) I was clearly unsatisfied and they did not escalate the issue within management or try to resolve it -- instead they removed my access to the ticket and ghosted me. Wow.NOTE: It really pains me to do this. With COVID-19 hurting the economy, this is a time when we should be supporting local businesses. But Gravity really crossed a line and deserves to get called out on it. I would not be surprised if they are closed by 2021.
Customer Service Extraordinaire! The team at Gravity has the best, world class customer service! They listen (even though they have heard it a thousand times before), they fix the device (sometimes literally in minutes!) and they look out for the customer who depends upon the Apple product. Honest, professional, love what they do (it shows!). They make it look all so easy. Truly masters of this technological art and service.
Gravity replaced my MacBook screen and returned in to me in a matter of days. This service is unmatched; everywhere else said it would be multiple weeks! Extremely impressed with the quality and speed of work! Gave nice updates every time something happened (when price estimate was completed, when parts were ordered, etc.) which really eased my anxiety with being laptop-less. Could not recommend them more!
What a great business! Very professional, they take a personal interest in fixing your issue and in a timely manner and they personally email you back to make sure you were satisfied with their work...what more can you ask for? It is the only place I would go for Apple repairs, questions or service. Thanks you!!!
My mistake for not reading the reviews before. I got referred by Apple Support for a straight forward battery replacement on an old Macbook pro. Price quoted by Apple Support $129.When I show up Muang explains to me that he cannot tell me the replacement cost for the work up front at all. They need to do a $75 diagnostics to come up with the estimate. If I dont accept their estimate I need to pay the diagnostics fee. I know exactly what I want done and all they need to do is look up the cost for a routine piece of work to confirm Apples information.I would highly recommend you look for a different service provider, even if it means driving to KC or STL to an Apple Store. You are doing business on your own risk here.
This place is super duper helpful with Mac computers. They provided excellent customer service. What made them standout out though, was that they updated you about the progress. The communication channels were seamless and very straightforward. I think they did a really really good job in trying to salvage my laptop. They dumbed it down for me so I could understand what they did, which is obviously helpful to college kids who spilled nail polish remover on their laptops (NOT me).
Can you even imagine a service center calling you back because they saw your number on caller id, and they couldnt get to the phone in time?? Thats how my experience began; then when I answered their call back to me, I asked if I could get a new battery for my iPhone - they explained how it was first come, first serve, and the store was opening in ten minutes. The process of battery replacement was simple. I left my phone with them, and within hours they called me when it was ready and my phone was like new. Excellent customer service, and excellent parts & service.
The staff was very friendly, and the turnaround time was just one day. They take the time to talk with you to find out exactly what the issue is and how best they can help. They also give immediate feedback by text on the progress of the repair, which I appreciated.Everything on my machine works great now. I found the price for the hard drive replacement to be reasonable, especially since I was thinking I was going to have to replace my laptop. I definitely recommend Gravity.
Took in my iPhone 6 after lots of battery issues. The Gravity Team replaced my battery, and my phone is working great. They were efficient, and the fix was inexpensive. The email notifications were also helpful for keeping tabs on my ticket with Gravity as well as planning when to pick-up/drop-off my phone. Very pleased. Highly recommend!
I went to Gravity yesterday because my phone screen was not responding to touch. The customer service guy was very nice and was dealing with a lot of customers at once. He said they had to take my phone to the back to determine whether it was a problem with the screen or if it was more than that. When they brought my phone back out, he said they determined that it was an internal problem and that they would have to ship my phone to Apple and it would take 5-7 days. Today I went to a different Apple certified store, which gravity states they are, and they ran a diagnostic test and determined that it was just the screen and it was fixed in an hour.
I was hesitant to take our Mac to a non Apple store but I can say I don’t know if I’ll ever return to an Apple store for repair after coming here. Gravity employees diagnosed the problem quickly and gave us a quote with many options. They completed the work quickly and with exceptional quality and customer service. Overall, highly recommend. I hope we don’t have to go back anytime soon but if we do, I’m sure it’ll be another great experience.
This is one of the only Apple authorized repair centers near me and this is my second time going. The first time I went after 2 years with my mac book pro, I began having battery issues. I found out that there was a recall on my screen as well so I decided to get that taken care of at the same time. Because it was more than one repair, my computer had to mailed the Apple. When I first gave Gravity my computer, I had a removable decal on my computer that was very important to me. They never told me I neded to take it off or I wouldnt get it back. When my computer was repaired, my computer was fixed, but my decal was nowhere to be found. I called back to the store and they told me THEY dont try to remove anything that looks like a sticker that can stick, but as I mentioned before, they never told me that if I didnt remove it before repair it would be disposed. I wouldve taken it off myself. Fast forward to several months later: I accidentally spilled orange juice on my computer. I went back to Gravity thinking they could repair it and they could hold on to my computer until I got paid. But no. They didnt even want to touch it, let along look at it with out a non refundable fee of about $200-300. It wasnt even a guarantee that my computer would be fixed.I walked out the store while orange juice was eating away at my computer and it couldve easily had work begun on it since the spill had just happened. Because I didnt gave they funds at that exact moment, I couldnt leave my computer to be fixed so I just left the store.
Thanks so much for the terrific service and customer service I received a couple of weeks ago. The wait time was none, all of your staff that we came in contact were very friendly and provided great customer service. I really liked the fact that I was kept updated on the progress.... Would highly recommend you all to anyone that needed help. Location was great (easy to find). Even though I live in JC, it was very handy. Keep up the good work!!
Super great crew! Fixed my phone in an hour and were very nice to work with. Will for sure be taking my electronics back to them!
Amazing from beginning to end. All the techs and customer service representatives kept me informed along the way with text messages and emails about the service. The surprise was the follow up even after the service, that was much appreciated. They were very reasonable for pricing and also gave me timely estimates for upgrades. I will definitely take my Mac there anytime I need anything computer related.
I have taken two mac book pros to Gravity, for major work in the last three months. Work was professional well done and prompt. People were helpful and cordial. Email progress reports on repairs were helpful. I shall return should the need arise. Thanks Gravity.
I dropped my MacBook Pro off to have some diagnostic work done that came back normal, and was informed early in the morning via email, if I would still like to have the part replaced, they would be happy to do so and get the parts shipped overnight.I declined and said I would be by to pick my laptop up, replying at 7AM.When I stopped by at 11AM, I had to wait for 45 min to pick up my laptop as there were other customers in line and my computer was still opened up. It was frustrating, but I got through it.When I brought my computer home and booted it up, it was still in some sort of maintenance mode and got stuck there.I called back asking if this was normal and the person on the phone replied, “It is when we don’t have notice that you’re going to pick up your laptop.”To which I replied that I had given 4 hours notice, which doesn’t seem like short notice to me.Rather than apologize they simply said that they did see that record and to hold on as they could get the tech to answer my issue. After a short hold, they told me how to resolve my issue.Make the trip to KC or STL to an official store, they have the bandwidth to handle multiple customers at once and they have amazing customer service.I want to support local business as much as the next person, however, I won’t be back.
Getting my macbook fixed at Gravity was a super pain-free experience. I explained the issue when I dropped it off, communicated a few times via email/text, and picked it up a while later when it was finished. They were able to fix my keyboard under Apples keyboard repair policy, so it was completely free!
Great service and fast turn around time.
Employees were super friendly and they offered the best price for fixing an old iPad. Had it back within a week.
They will try to rip you off! Definitely not recommend it!I have dropped off my MacBook Pro 01/21, for my stuck enter key, a single key. They said they need to run diagnosis first, which would take 5-7 days. But as you could see from other reviews, they made promise they could not realize. When I finally got update from them, the replacement fee was super high and unfair (It was more than 600 dollars, replacing the whole topcase with keyboard for single key). So I decided not to repair it there. Then they told me I had to pay for 75 dollars diagnostic fee, for a single key!I have argued with them that I was not told about that much of charge. They replied with that I must have been misheard and showed me the intake form I have signed. I did sign on an iPad, but they did not walk me through the information on it, so I assumed they only needed my signature. And they DID NOT provide me with a copy of it right after and DID NOT disclose it in my online account, which seems very dishonest to me now. I only received my copy today when I asked for it.I am done arguing with them and paid for it. But if anyone still wants to go there, make sure you double check everything they say, review everything they ask you to sign and ask a copy of everything you sign.
Im very happy with their work. And I was very happy with how fast they made my repair. I would happily recommend their services!
Amazing service. I am a college student from out of state, and they were friendlier than my usual Apple Service Provider. I would go back without hesitation! The cable connecting my hard drive to my computer went out and was on recall if you had any problems. They fixed it in less than 20 minutes and I was back doing my homework! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Waste of time. What’s the point of being a repair facility if you’re going to ship devices off to apple? I could have done that from my house and not driven way out of my way. Apple, and Gravity, implied the service would be done in-house at the time of my appointment. Hearing the techs talk smart in the back room about Apple being the only entity that can repair same day doesn’t make me want to come back either. You’re a repair facility, not a UPS Store. If you can’t fix apple devices in house you have no business model. I won’t be back. The guy in front of me couldn’t be helped either. Seeing this business not help two clients in a row makes me wonder how long they will be in business.
We live in Kirksville, MO. We dropped the phone off at Gravity, they helped us take care of the necessary steps to get the phone turned off and ready for repair. They walked us through every step of the process before the phone went to Apple. The cost was estimated and pretty well met the estimate on the final bill.Great people to work with. Great to have a place to depend on for help when needed.Thank You Gravity! :)
They definitely could have communicated a bit more clearly, but overall they did what they said they would do. They are competent to handle the work. Customer service could use a little help though.
Quick, great service, friendly people. Will definitely come back and recommend.I was having trouble with my MacBook Pro. They quickly diagnosed the problem, overnight shipped parts from Apple, and fixed the issue very quickly. I can use my computer again and Im a happy customer.
Showed up to my appointment to get a battery replacement and was told that they couldn’t do anything for me. I was informed that there was a 400 person waiting list due to a shortage of batteries. It’s fine to have a waiting list and to have to reschedule appointments, but it’s not fine to inform a client after they show up to an appointment that was booked last week. If you know that you have a 400 battery waiting list, pick up the phone and make a call to let your customer know.Gravity, get your stuff together and don’t waste your customers’ time please.
I cant say enough good about this place!!!! Jordan worked on my ipad and was able to get it up and running. As I watched other customers come and leave you could tell that they were all very satisfied. If you have an Apple Product I HIGHLY recommend them.
Awesome customer service! They were able to identify my issue immediately and got my computer running again! So grateful for their kind service!
Do your research before bringing your items here... my MacBook is eligible for a free diagnostic and keyboard cleaning/repair. When I arrived, the person who helped me was confused, and unsure how to intake my computer. I was then told it would be $50 dollars for the diagnostic (and not the keyboard cleaning?). I re-iterated that my laptop was eligible for the Keyboard Service Program, and was then told that the Apple website misleads customers, and then customers get mad at the Gravity store. I made the appointment through the keyboard service program on the Apple website, which states that this service should be free, so I was surprised at the fee. I later called Apple to clarify this issue, and they could not get ahold of the store. However, I confirmed with Apple that both the diagnostic and the cleaning should be free.
Super fast service. Great communication through the process and followed up after.
They couldn’t fix my phone so they gave me a new phone and I love my new phone it works great. If I have any more trouble with any of my apple devices I will take it to this place. This was that best phone/devices repair place I ever been to!
I took my sons iPhone 7 in to be fixed due to it dropping phone calls. The AT&T store told us it could only be replaced and not repaired, which was going to cost a minimum of $150. Fortunately, I took the phone to Gravity. Kyle Huebotter looked at it, assessed it, knew exactly what the issue was, and sent it to Apple to get replaced....FOR FREE! I highly recommend Gravity to anyone having issues with their Apple products. Nice work, Kyle and Gravity!
My iPhone 6s needed a battery replacement that was covered under Apple, so it was super nice to have a place in town to handle it rather than driving to an Apple store in St. Louis and KC. They did encounter a problem with the screen not working right after the replacement (they said it happens, rarely, but it does happen). They gave me a loaner phone to use overnight while we waited on a brand new replacement phone to be sent to their shop. Less than 24 hours later I was back in business. I would definitely use them again to avoid the 2-hour drive if I need service on any of my Apple products.
So convenient to have an authorized Apple service provider in Columbia! They fixed my iPhone software/firmware while I waited. The best news was that they could have supplied a loaner phone under my warranty if I had needed it, with my own number and all, so I would not have to be phone-less for a few days like I would if I had needed to send it in to Apple. Highly recommended!!
Gravity put a new battery in my I-phone. They have continued to follow up with me to see if everything is going ok and if I needed anything. I really appreciate their great customer service!!! A class act!!
If you need to send your phone into Apple, let them do it for you. It is well worth it. If you have battery questions, they know their stuff.
This IS NOT an actual Apple Store.. I was set up a time through Apple to arrive at this place at 11am for a battery replacement that I was told would take 30 min/ 1 hour at the most. After driving 2 hours I was told my phone would not be ready until 5pm..... Obviously NO COMMUNICATION between apple an this establishment.
Gravity did great work repairing my MacBook after it suffered some water damage. My incident happen to fall around a holiday, but they still achieved a great turnaround time. Gravity is not a Chamber of Secrets. It is a place of great honesty and trustworthiness.
They was very nice and they fixed my phone as quickly as possible then text and called when it was ready also did a 2 week follow up with me will definitely go back to them any more issues would definitely recommend gravity in Columbia Missouri for your phone issues 👍👍👍👍👍🤗
Great customer service.
For me, this shop is so horrible. My Mac book pro was broken, because I put some nail polish remover inside, and I took my computer to fix. In this shop, they said I have to pay 100 dollar to clean all the liquid inside. And then they can help me check the problems and help me fix my computer. After taking my computer, I found that I can’t open my computer anymore, that doesn’t happen before. And I ask them, then even can’t answer me why I can’t open my computer. And they said, after the checking, my computer only have the problem of screen. Today I just bring back to my own country, they help me fix the computer, and the problems they said are totally different. This shop just cheat me, and they don’t have the ability to fix the computer. Not only this, but also they don’t reset all the stuffs after move. It is so terrible. If give me one more chance, I won’t go to this store again. And for other foreigners, they may use the same way to cheat you! Last time I spend 100 dollars, they helped nothing, and didn’t put my battery back. Why I put this comments, because I don’t want other people have such terrible experience again.
Called to ask about an update on an iPhone battery replacement that I made in January. As soon as someone picked up I asked about possible length of time for a new battery and the operator just responded “waiting” no other words were spoken to me and he hung up. Extremely rude customer service. I understand there’s a long waiting list for a new battery but there’s no need to convey their frustration onto me. Based on the mere attitude of this 10 second phone call I would rather drive to St. Louis and have this dealt with there than deal with that rude employee.
Great company and fantastic customer service! I had cracked my phone screen/banged up the frame pretty severely and the guys at gravity got me in and out fast and had a brand new iPhone 6 shipped to me within 2 business days! Cant say enough good things about this company, keep up the good work.
I went in to get my iPad unlocked and the staff were very helpful. I went over my lunch hour and experienced nearly no wait time to be helped by a staff member. They explained pricing up front & how long it would take and delivered exactly as expected. Highly recommend!
This senior citizen is most grateful and pleased with the calm, helpful and excellent service I received at Gravity. My texting problems were solved. I also received help in resetting the phone. Couldnt have done it without Bobby walking me through it all.
I had excellent service from the folks at Gravity. They repaired my Macbook Pro laptop quickly and sent frequent email updates. 2 thumbs up for Gravity!
The best! My phone wasnt working and I had a flight to catch at 3am the next morning so I was worried about traveling without it! Bobby had it fixed and ready to go in 30 minutes. Very pleased with the service and highly recommend!
The Gravity team did an excellent job in fixing my iPhone problem. They were courteous, professional, and quick to accomplish the task. Thank you!
Outstanding service! I had a display replaced on my Mac Book Pro. The work was completed in 2 days and the computer looked brand new when it was returned. Forget driving 2 hours to an Apple store!
After I contacted Gravity, a friend said she had an iMac repaired there and was very satisfied.I was also very satisfied with the speed (less than an hour ) of installation of the new battery in my iPhone. Will definitely recommend them; very efficient .Jacquie Huhman
I had no idea what the problem was with my Macbook Pro. I have to have my computer for work so when my hard drive failed, I was devastated. I walked into Gravity at 2:00 pm on a Thursday and explained my dilemma. They ran a quick diagnostics test, explained what the issue likely was and said they would get back to me but that it could take 24-36 hours. In less than 2 hours I had my computer back and functioning with no memory loss at all. I highly recommend Gravity for your Mac needs in Columbia, as they exceeded my expectations in a time of urgent need! In addition, the guys who were working were very friendly and understanding.
Good place for Apple products repair though it is on the expensive side compared to what it cost to get the part and what is charged for labor. Still recommend as they are the only apple place for 120 miles.
Wish I could give a ZERO rating. So unprofessional and unhelpful. Their online appointments are only for diagnostics and then they want to charge you an extra $50 to do a simple same day repair on a phone battery that you already made an appointment to have changed. They blame communication with Apple and take no responsibility for making an appointment they cannot keep and see nothing wrong with charging extra to “expedite” a repair that you already have an appoint to repair. They refused to allow me to make an appointment for a time in the future for when the repair could actually be made and instead only said I could drop it off and put it in the queue with other products waiting to be repaired. Absolutely horrible customer service!!!! Completely unsympathetic that as an out of town visitor I am a fish out of water without my phone for communications and maps and unable to just leave it with them for several days. They try to force you into paying the expedited service fee out of desperation. Store manager was rude and condescending!
Very helpful. Checked my computer- I needed a new battery so they ordered it. Installed quickly with no further problems. I would recommend them for Apple computer repair
Extremely knowledgeable about apple products. I had my iMac fixed here. Very helpful. Only downside is a little slow on the turnaround time. However, I rather have to wait a little longer for a good result.
Super fast and friendly. They keep you updated on your repairs. As the only Apple certified replace place in town, super glad they are efficient and on top of it.
I brought my iphone6 into Gravity not knowing what was wrong with it, other than it seemingly turned off randomly and had not turned on for a couple days. I brought my phone into the shop and it was diagnosed with a failed battery within 15 minutes. Within 2 hours after turning it in, Gravity had my battery replaced and I had a working phone back in my possession! I could not be more thrilled. I did not price check other services out there, so I cannot contest I paid a fair price, but the time and convenience I saved was worth it! I had used Gravity for service on my MacBook in the past and had a great experience working with the staff; they were always knowledgeable and patient!
Gravity was very professional and did a great job of updating and managing our Wifi network. Highly recommend
My laptop was repaired quickly and professionally, and all possible costs were laid out when I dropped it off. They also kept me informed as to where they were in the repair process.
Helped replace a iPhone within the Apple manufacturers warranty -- fast, polite, great communications. Highly recommend!
Great service! They are professional and also very good at keeping you updated every step of the way.
Overall my experience was negative value. Very disappointing. I took my MacBook Air because there was a problem with the keyboard. It took them a week to do the diagnose (at an apple store takes minutes), I was charged 50$ for it and the solution was that they should send it to apple to get it fixed and that would take another week. Even though I did signed the form when I left the computer I was surprise by the charge of $50 as it was not explained to me by the employee. I tried contacting them directly and they did not seem to care.
Work completed on time without any issues. 100% recommended!
Great service, very pleasant helpers. Great help and understanding for older clients. Thank you
Absolutely fantastic service. My iPhones backlight went out and they sent it to Apple and had it back to me within 4 days. Although I still had a unknown problem with my phone preventing me from getting service, and Sprint was doing nothing to help me, Gravity ended up sending my phone back in and replacing it entirely within 2 days. You will receive constant updates through email or text so you are always aware of the status of your device. If you are an iPhone owner and a Sprint customer, DO NOT take it to Sprint, take it here instead.
Needed a battery for my iPhone.. These guys stayed after close on the phone with Apple just to make sure I had my phone that day.. They kept me posted on what was going on.. They even checked up on me 2 weeks later.. I would highly recommend them..
Incredibly friendly staff that is more than willing to resolve any outstanding technology issues.
Great experience! They answered all of my questions and were very quick with getting me my computer back.
Excellent service! I thought Id be without my MacBook Pro for at least a week. Gravity ordered the part needed with overnight delivery and I had the computer back in two days! They will get my business if the need arises.
Very quick service and good customer service! They would send email/text updates when any progress/changes were made, and were also very helpful over the phone. My MacBook was under warranty so I didnt have to pay anything to fix my malfunctioning trackpad. Theyre the only certified Apple retailer in central Missouri, but definitely recommend!
This store people really have fantastic services! It is top shelf! They really care for customers! Thanks a lot!
I was impressed with how quickly the technician started working on my iPad and how fast it was fixed. The staff even followed-up weeks after to make sure all was well.
My wifes iPhone went completely dead and she has to use it extensively in her business. We went to ATT thinking they might be able to help, but on three visits, they basically blew us off. On the fourth visit, the tech immediately referred us to Gravity, saying it was an authorized Apple repair shop.We walked into Gravity well after 11:00 am and a pleasant woman asked to come back after 1:00 pm to pick up the phone. Wow, I was impressed. I thought we would have to leave it there several days. When we went back a little after 1:00, we picked up her phone and it worked perfectly. Two weeks later, it is still perfect. Cost? $50.Last Saturday, my grandson was at our place and he was bummed that his phone had stopped working. He can usually fix electronic instruments, but not his phone. I said check and see if Gravity is open on Saturday. He did, and we went directly there. The Gravity tech plugged it into a high amp charger and triggered the phone on while we were standing at the counter. He handed the phone back to my grandson and I asked, how much? His response: Im happy to fix it for you, theres no charge. Wow, again.Im very much impressed with Gravity. They are an authorized Apple repair entity and I very highly recommend the shop to anyone having issues with Apple products.
Great customer service, but I was charged $40 for changing a setting I could have done myself had I known about it. I was told they would unplug my broken trackpad, when in actuality they just temporarily disabled it. Not sure if Ill return. :/
Folks @Gravity get a 5**+ rating. Besides fixing the problem with my Mac that was hacked into they took the time with a novice computer guy and didnt make him feel dumb.Recommend for your I -phone as well.
The help at Gravity was wonderful, especially for someone like me who is not very computer literate. The staff took their time to explain what the system difficulties were, kept me informed on the progress of the fix, and went out of their way to answer questions related to the newly installed operating system.
Very professional. They were not able to help me with what I needed but the person I spoke with took the time to help me find where I needed to go for my needs. Will definitely recommend to people.
So great to have local support and help for my mac! My computer was fixed the same day I called for help! Thank you Jonathan and Gravity!
I’ll start with the positives because I’m an optimist. The location was conveniently located downtown so there are places to shop/eat while waiting. The employees were very friendly. The negative was the TIME it took to replace a battery. I had an appt for 1:20 and they told me to come back for pick-up at 3:00. I thought that sounded reasonable. However, when I returned, they told me they were working on it and to come back at 4. Uh, my family and I were traveling through Columbia and were ready to get back on the road. (Maybe this is where some of my frustration comes from?) So... I came back at 4. I also noticed that others who were there after me had come and gone.. I’m not sure if they had an appt but I asked one person and she did not. So is making an appt necessary? I finally left at 4:20. So that’s 3 hours to replace a battery. I’m no Apple Genius but it felt excessive and no apologies were offered for my wait. Won’t be back.
Fast, Friendly and very professional service with detail. I will definitely return if ever needed.
I had a very good experience with Gravity. Employees were friendly, clear, and prompt. Glad to have an Apple authorized service provider in mid-Missouri.
Great for iPhone battery replacement, easy to schedule drop-offs/pick-ups the same day
Friendly, honest, and they helped fix my macbook air. Very appreciative.
Fantastic service and FOLLOW UP! I sincerely recommend!
October 2020 addendum: That MacBook died of old age, bought a replacement. SAME STORY, SECOND VERSE: Gravity did a wonderful job of data migration, answering questions, total customer service from every employee by phone, online, in person. Caring and competent service. 10/30/2020, MSARetired, rural, and a tech dinosaur, I was in deep when my older MacBook Pro slowed to a crawl. It was a personal gift to me that Gravity had opened just a few months before that. :) They exceeded every expectation, diagnosing, replacing the hard drive, amazing customer service and progress reports, patience with my dumb questions, assistance with the software/password issues that follow a new hard drive. Gravity is amazing, professional, competent, just what Columbia was waiting for!
These folks fixed my phone without having to sell the farm. Thanks guys .
Nice people, excellent professional service. Very pleased with the repairs done on my Macbook Pro.
