These folks are all about efficiency. They will get your clothes pinned up exactly where you want, with help from your direction, and send you on your way. When you pick back up after the allotted time for alteration, they will be just as they were pinned. Yes, if you concealed carry, they are happy to tailor your garments around you holster/gun setup, and have no qualms with you wearing both while he is pinning the clothes.

OVERVIEW: UNNECCESSARY STRESS, UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT WORTH ITIm maid of honor for my best friends wedding and took my dress here for the alterations. Things seemed okay at first - the dress got pinned for the alterations, I got my ticket, and they said it would be done in a week. Fast-forward to my picking it up; I give my ticket to a lady at the front, she looks around and cant find my dress. Then she gives the ticket to another lady and she looks around for a minute or two and she also cant find it. I didnt understand at first, but the second woman signaled me to go find my dress in the back. I dont think I can adequately describe the anxiety I was experiencing - THEY COULDNT FIND MY DRESS - EVEN I COULDNT FIND MY DRESS! So after about 15 minutes of searching, I found my dress with no assistance from the employees, after going through countless dresses. No apologies or even recognition that was unprofessional, they just said, thatll be $90. I asked, did you do all of the alterations? I needed a few so I just want to check. They said, we always do all of the work. (while Im thinking, really? Because I just had to do your work finding my dress). Now, I understand that I know what my dress looks like more than they would, however, I do think that there should have been a better organizational system in place or that someone should have assisted or tried looking for more than 5 minutes, or hey, even acknowledge that I should probably not have had to deal with the stress of thinking my dress was lost.Fast forward again, I try my dress on and one of the straps is so short, I cant even move my arm. I was going to take it back there, but the thought of going through the stress of potentially thinking my dress was lost again was not worth it. So, I asked my coworker if she could just let the strap out a bit since I THOUGHT the strap wouldve been just tucked away for instances such as this... WRONG. My coworker said that the seamstress sewed the straps together and then cut the excess so when my coworker went to sew it back together, she was barely able to give me 1/5 extra length. Thankfully, that was enough.At this point, Im just happy to have found my dress. I think its safe to say that I will not be a returning customer.(pictures dont do the uncomfort justice)

They were the only alterations that tackled the job and did a good job

Theyre really the best super-affordable alterations shop in Columbia. But dont expect your alterations to be pressed at the end.

The alterations were good, but a lil pricy.

I took three pairs of pants to be hemmed at a total cost of $30. After paying and receiving the pants back it was obvious that they had been altered at all.

I have a nothing but good things to say about Jackies! I havent had no complaints about any of the work she has done for me. If you want it done right the 1st time stop settling for the rest and get tailored by the best!!!

Darn good place

Very decent and nice staff. They were considerate enough to wait for us after 6 p.m. (when we called). Also took special care to get the alteration done right there, when we requested that we have travelled a long distance for them 🙌🙏💞👍

I was looking for somewhere in Columbia to alter two pairs of work pants and a blazer. I was a little nervous because they are expensive clothes but Jackie’s did an amazing job! They took up the jacket sleeves and rearranged buttons so it looks very natural. Everything came out beautifully at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place!

Ive been bringing my clothes to Jackies Tailoring and Alterations for five years now. The service is excellent and remarkably fast. I dont trust anyone else with my clothes; from suit jackets to tailored shirts, this is the place to go.

Service is usually good but on one Saturday morning I arrived at 9:00 am when they are to open. Waited outside with 5 other customers. I left at 9:30. You cant run a business like that!

Well NEVER be going back! I just picked up a bridesmaid dress that I didnt get to try on before I left because I was told they didnt have rooms. I paid 55 dollars for a dress that Im going to need to get fixed or trip on all night lol no. When I took it there was no pinning just drew on my dress with chalk and I even said will this be short enough. The man give me a nasty yes and sent me on my way. NEVER again and dont waste your money. I will also be calling for a refund

Ill revisit this review in a few days once I see the quality of their work first hand. I needed some tassles sewn onto a shirt and its not a complex job, so hopefully it will be well done and not expensive. But service was very friendly when I was there and store was clean
