The keswick was the worst decisionI could have made for my family. We needed a place to stay while looking a home to buy. The goal was to stay a the Keswick for 1 year. I barely made it 8 months. I had a termite infestation, worm infestation, upon entry rotten wood, mold. Please see all pictures attached.
I have been in the Keswick Apartments for the past two years. I have always had a optimistic perspective on everywhere I have ever lived. Even when things happen I never changed my attitude until this past weekend. The following are things that have happened in the past year:1. Super Bowl Sunday; a guy comes into my apartment drunk and I have to physically remove him along with his dogs.2. The parking lot has kept getting smaller and at night you dont have many options to park. If you park in non designated areas then you will be towed immediately.3. I realized after a year and a half the air filter hasnt been changed.4. Strangers attempted to break into cars.5. Homeless people attempt to break in cars on a separate occasion. The following is a layout of what occurred the fourth of July weekend and along with this week:Saturday I receive a sticker on one of my vehicles. I called the apartments and leave a voicemail to discuss it on the next business day.Sunday I realize my other vehicle has the sticker as well. I still think i can discuss it with the office on the next business day.Sunday night i am in military uniform leaving to go to work and realize my Jeep is getting towed. I get the office manager which lives in the apartment and the tow driver leaves with my Jeep. Amber the manager states that she will get the driver to return the vehicle the following day and I will not be charged.Monday that isnt the case I have to wait until Tuesday to get the situation resolved.Tuesday I go to the DMV and get the situation resolved which was they were taking forever with my car tag due to me having Alabama insurance. I only had knowledge of what was happening on Wednesday the 30 of June. There was nothing telling me to let the apartment office know of this. I actually talked to them on Friday and they didnt mention it was a problem. 300 dollars later I get my vehicle.I see Stacy on Tuesday as well. She states that the office staff didnt have any knowledge of my vehicle being towed. She tells me that it shouldnt have been towed and she understands why I am angry. Later that day I was told that the office staff is the one that approved the tow. Stacy tells me that I will not be reimbursed the money because they just dont do that.Wednesday Intermark calls and discusses the situation with me. They are the corporate office of the Keswick. They tell me that the Tow Truck Driver isnt suppose to be placing stickers on the cars. This is suppose to be done by the Office Staff. I actually asked the tow truck driver for a job. I walk my dog every night and I can put stickers on cars. He told me that other residence are the ones who told on me after they got caught. Yes this is the environment. Finally i would not recommend this apartment complex. They make decisions and blame the tow company for it. They dont accept responsibility for these actions which isnt a place to live. You shouldnt have to worry about the apartment staff trying to screw you over when you are paying these prices. I hope this review helps you make your decision. If someone has made more than 20 reviews then I dont trust them. Companies hire reviewers to build up the profile. I am not stating this is the case on some of these but that is your call.Corporate called me today (Regional Manager). I was told that that should have never happened. They said that the whole premise of the rules they have in place is to be able to go through the office. She is going to reimburse me the money.. She said that it will never happen again in the future. I hope this is the case for the people who are living in the apartments. If anyones vehicle gets marked by anyone that isnt the office staff call the corporate office. The office staff is the only one permitted to put a sticker on the vehicles from now on. This is per Regional Management. If this happens to anyone call Intermark. They will take care of it. I am going straight to them for any complaints from now on. Well until i move out.
I move to the The Keswick on May 22nd, I a very pleased in how beautiful the property and most of all I am very pleased and satisficed on how beautiful my apartment home. Thanks Keswick for allowing me to be a part of your family.
Fabulous apartment and outstanding staff!!
Honestly would not recommend to anyone. For the quality of apartment, amenities, and office staff, not worth the amount I was charged monthly at all. You’ll pay about $50 a month alone for water and sewage and way too much for rent. If you request any maintenance to be done it will likely take 2 or 3 visits before it is completed somewhat correctly. My dishwasher still leaked every time I did dishes. High crime rate as well in this area. Could not leave complex one morning because an entire police team was doing a drug bust in apartments behind me and blocking the driving route out. I noticed police circling the complex regularly after the bust occurred and received warnings of multiple car break-ins. Forgot to mention the weed, the tenants below me smoked weed at least 2-3 times a day and my apartment always smelt like it. If you like reefer, this is the place for you!
The officer was absolutely the best. Give me a tour and explain me everything about the application, fees and my responsibilities there. The apartment that she show me was clean, perfect design and I just love the place.
Beautiful and clean
This is THE best place to live in the Northeast. Its conveniently located to everything- interstate without the noise, fine dining across the street-and more importantly-doesnt feel like an apartment. My apartment is laid out more like a home-with closet space to die for. Its quiet. Grounds are well manicured. Swimming pool is sparkling and always has friendly faces. And the staff and service are second to none. THE BEST APARTMENTS IVE EVER LIVED IN
Very spacious and pretty
Having lived here since July 2015, I can recommend The Keswick with outmost confidence. I also happen to work from home. This property is worth considering, it has many advantages you wont easily find elsewhere. Located just off of I-20, and very close to I-77. Very clean and quiet property, wonderful and considerate neighbors. Jeff and David are doing a great job maintaining and keeping the place clean and neat. Leslie(awesome manager) and her office staff are happy to assist, weve put in several minor work orders over the past 10 months. Not only the work needed was addressed right away, but you also get email updates upon completion. Townhouse setting with attached garage, very unique and architectural pleasing property. Close to shops and restaurants(1-3 miles), even a Cigar Lounge with a wine bar across the property!Jan 2019 updateWe recently purchased a house and moved out recently. Great overall experience, Miss Kay has been the office manager for a while now and everything runs great. No issues whatsoever with the move-out, we will definitely miss the many amenities The Keswick offered.
Rude staff.
I just left this apartment a month ago. It was a terrible experience. I had an ant manifestation that was completely out of control. The apartment had mold problems. I had to send request about this too many times. I had other experiences, but I wont get into them. Dont think you cannot find a better place, because you can. Im so glad to be away from this place. Choose wisely
The only good thing about this place is the leasing agent Chris and the maintenance guy Matt. I moved here June 2017 and everything was GREAT at first. I had the Brookshire style apartment and loved the location I was in even though the parking in my building sucked. I would have still been there if my light bill hadnt sky rocket by almost $300. I went from having my light bill $80 to suddenly $300 plus every month, mind you I ran my electricity the same. Not to mention the numerous work orders I put in for pest control to come out to constantly spray my apartment for bugs, mold and a host of other things. Ultimately I had to move to another state due to my job, if youre thinking about trying to break your lease DONT. Its not like I was just trying to leave for no reason, it was for a legitimate reason which I had the paper work to prove why I needed to break my lease. Do you think they care? Of course not ! They try to make you pay up to 4 months of rent (basically until someone else leases the apartment). Never received anything in the mail or as much as a phone call about the total amount I owed them, then BOOM a hit on my credit report. This place is a waste of time. And lets not talk about the property manager (I forgot her name but she drives the Mercedes). She has her head so far up her behind that she feels everyone is beneath her. Shes friendly as long as youre not trying to break your lease and leave the complex. The apartments are beautiful, but be very cautious when renting here as they try to trap you in your lease.
Staffs are ok but the property manager does not care about tenants. Ill be out when my lease Is done for sure if I decide to keep staying here until then.
Nice clean apts
Just renewed my lease with The Keswiick. The Staff have always truly made me feel welcome to be apart of the community. I will recommend anyone. They take care of there residents and the maintenance staff has always been on time with the work orders and courteous.
Great location, friendly staff.
Warning... tread lightly before signing a lease with this apartment complex. I lived here for a year, in a tiny 1 bedroom apt, alone. They get you with the no deposit, then slam you with fraudulent charges when your lease ends. I keep my surroundings meticulously clean, any problems I had, I made sure maintenance was aware. This apt complex, had the audacity to charge me for repairs needed to the bathtub and countertops in the kitchen. How in the hell do you damage a bathtub and countertops, which were both in mediocre condition, when I moved in. The kitchen was so small, there was barely any room on the countertops and the paint, which they used in the tub, was peeling when I moved in. The manager, Ms. K, was highly deceitful for placing these fake charges on me and even worse, I didn’t receive any notification, until I got a call from the collection agency. I suggest you to look at other apartments, before even stepping foot in the Keswick, because there are better quality apartments, in the area, where you will get your monies worth. After the deceitful practices of this complex, I discourage a dog from living here.
DO NOT RENT HERE.Please be careful when making a decision to live here. These apartments have MOLD in them and the district manager will NOT provide tenants with an environmental report. These apartments need upgrading immediately.
I love this apartment. Great location.
This is a awesome place to stay. The staff will do everything to take care of you.
The staff his awsome (Leslie) is the most down to earth & fun loving manager Ive ever met. Maintenance gets handled in a timely fashion. Nice, quiet well kept environment to live in. Great location near everything. Shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants, cigar shops. I20 & I77 is literally less than 3-5mins away. Tell Leslie you read my post..(lol) Be blessed....
The Manager was very informative and the apartments are Beautiful!
I wish they had a car care center and a better dog park. I couldnt find an outgoing mail slot at the mailboxes!
Nice clean up place
Excellent management and apartments
Fumes from neighboring apartment remodeling made me sick and kept me up all night. Maintenance did little to nothing and management could care less.
They run this place like a storefront church....
It is quiet.
Management staff doesnt care about its tenants. Just wants to sending threatening emails. Lack of follow up and communication. Apartments need to updated.
NICE CRIBS
Beautiful apartments, great landscaping, very clean.
