They arent wearing masks and I feel for those who have an have a high risk of catching anything that stay clear of this place until they check themselves for the better of our community. We dont need more people to get sick from Covid-19 cause someone doesnt want to comply with the city mandate.

What a place!! Finally found my go to barber shop in Elite. Beth is my go to and hits the nail on the head every single time. Would recommend them to friends, family, strangers..ANYONE! Every barber there is so friendly and has their clients walking out looking like their best selves. Definitely don’t be deterred by a wait, it is worth it!!

Love this place, love the crew. Get a real haircut for a great price. Understand that they stay busy so if u walk in 30 minutes before closing that you probably wont get a haircut. Also they dont buy into the COVID propaganda.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for a full year now and they never seem to dissapoint. At first the idea of walk in only was a little frightening but you soon realize all of them know how to cut hair very well. Not only that but you can’t beat the price. I went in yesterday and overall it was a good haircut but one side was a little messed up, I don’t blame them though because there was a line of over 12 people due to Covid-19 and they just opened.

Its been a struggle to find a good place for my 2 boys. Elite hit it out of the park, they ask to go back all the time. Never hurts they also do a great job on my beard.

Great place with old school barbers. No appointments needed, walk ins is how they roll. If you have never had a straight razor shave, you should come here and give it a try. Im not one to pamper myself, but this straight razor shave experience is pretty close to pampering and its a great shave!

There is a mask ordinance for a reason. I went to the shop today 8/13/2020. There were three barbers and two customers. One customer has his mask around his neck and that was the only mask in the place.

I havent been to a barber since 2004. I started cutting my own hair during that deployment since I had only one style: #1 on the clipper and a razor on the neck. Pretty easy. I was recently involved in a car crash and broke wrist and hand bones. I decided to try Elite on a whim since it was on my way home and close to where I needed to be to do a few things.This is a classy place. Very professional, friendly and courteous staff. Did a nice job at a great price. Kudos! Granted, I have a pretty easy cut but they did it better than I could have hands down. Highly recommended.

The first time coming here, I was given a nice haircut by one of the guys in there. Good price, sides of my hair were nicely faded and the top was cleaned up very well.The second time however, my barber was one of the ladies. She did not seem very focused on cutting my hair as she was talking to who I would assume is one of the regulars. The cut only took about 15 minutes, and it’s been the fastest I’ve ever been in a hair place.She also made a terrible mistake in a design I wanted in my side, a simple straight line. The line seemed to go 45 degrees higher than I wanted, which many people told me it looked like a scar.About three weeks after the cut, my top is messy and my sides were obviously not worked on enough, since my hairs seem to pop out recently.Overall, I’d avoid this specific barber I had, but I’m going to be taking my business elsewhere in Columbia where I believe there’s better places to go to get a haircut.

Staff not waring masks as required under section 1.09 of order 2020-06c of Boone County enforce at the time shall require employees to wear a mask. Requested they wear a mask and in response said busy man. As a state licensed profession this is not professional or showing concern for the community.

The best mens haircut in Columbia by far.If you got your haircut at this place without looking at the price youd think it was a 40 dollar haircut. Always really friendly and professional. Got my hair cut here for weddings, business trips, and my own engagement photos. Ask for Andrew.

Ben Dixon is the best! His work is quality, and its a shame I had to move to Texas for a job and medical school. I kept pictures of his work to show to Houston barbers. I have gone through many barbers these past couple of years and I think I found the right spot. I dont remember his name (the one in the first chair) sorry! Cut my hair. I asked for a simple mid bald fade with the line shaved in and my barber nailed it. Yes, its a very popular cut for most barbers, but the ones I have gone to in the past screwed it up. Their staff is friendly, the cut was cheap ($17 I believe), and you get that barber shop experience when you walk in and as you walk out of the shop. And its near Mad Cow (Best burgers in COMO)!

Today a very strange and dangerous incident took place with me. I usually ask for the barber to use a trimmer but this time he was going to use the razor. The razor was placed in a solution (supposedly a disinfectant). I politely asked if he can replace it with a new one. He refused and used a trimmer instead. It is a major health risk to use a razor on more than one client. These disinfectants are meant for bacteria mainly and not viruses! I urge this business to review the policy regarding protection against blood pathogen exposure. You should also be aware of this issue and raise a concern next time you are in a barber shop.

I showed up an hour before closing and was told they were “done for the day”. This was my second time coming here after a previously mediocre experience. Don’t say you’re open until noon if you’re going to turn people away an hour before you’re closed. Never going back.
