My experience with All Star Automotive was amazing. When my car broke down they got me in immediately and called me with the diagnosis within two hours. They needed multiple parts for my car they had to order, and had it good as new the next day. They called me frequently to give me updates and helped me understand the issues as best they could. They were professional, timely and very nice. I will definitely be using their service again.

These guys are absolutely incredible… super communicative, very timely, priced well and always willing to walk you through exactly what needs to be done and why. I have put thousands of miles on an engine repair they performed last spring and never had any issues. 10/10 would recommend—they put in the work when I was in a tough place between work and school and they got me back on the road in no time!

After calling a few places, none of them showing any consideration for our situation, we called All Star Automotive to see if they could help us. They offered to squeeze us in because they understood the stress we were experiencing being far from home. Their compassion and diligence is a clear value they hold. They double checked everything and asked us to update them when we reached our final location. It was so reassuring to have friendly and reliable people offering to help in a tough situation. All-Star is amazing and truly a league above the rest, having kind, courteous and professional staff. The entire staff are service oriented and care about their customers. They provide honest service at a fair price. Iwas 4 hours from home and in Colunbia, waiting at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center while our doberman was undergoing major surgery. My mother had passed two days earlier, so I was already under a lot of stress. I went to my vehicle to rest, only to discover that it would not start. I was referred to All-Star by a repair shop in another town. The text updates kept me apprised of my vehicles repair status. The entire staff made a very difficult situation easier and my vehicle was repaired quickly, completely and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend All-Star for any and all vehicle services!

I had an amazing experience with All star!! I took my car there to get an oil change and to fix a broken side mirror. They were upfront about all services + costs and worked with me to find the best option possible. Plus, the staff members are all so kind and helpful. I took my car here because of all the great reviews I read. I noted that a few people made comments about the price being slightly above what other places were around town. I would have to disagree with this.I will give their customer service team props for being welcoming and nice, however, I did have to contact them in the afternoon after I dropped my car off around 10:30am without hearing anything from them. They told me the rough estimate quote to fix my L front brake caliper and hose and I was pretty shocked because I had just had the R side done for $270 so I was prepared for the price to be similar (even allowing for slight variations due to market changes and vendors used etc.) I did call my old auto body shop that I had used prior to moving to Columbia after getting the rough estimate, and they told me I was being heavily overcharged. Gave me what the costs of those items typically run and told me the top price I could expect ($400). The lady I spoke with told me she would get me an exact price in the morning from the technician. When she called me back in the morning, she told me it would be $599 to fix. DOUBLE what I paid for the exact same thing on the other side. After hearing this and contacting my prior shop, I declined their services and picked up my car. I got a recommendation from someone in town and the new shop quoted me $300 for the same thing. Oh and they told me upfront they charge a diagnostic fee to figure out what is wrong (which I already pretty well knew) for $65. I cant fault them for that because they were honest about that, but it did suck that I had to pay $65 for nothing on top of having to take my car elsewhere to avoid being price gouged.My advice for anyone considering taking their car to All-Star Automotive would be to find a different place in town because you will likely pay half of what they will charge here. I dont write reviews often, but if my review helps one other person avoid wasting their time with this shop, then I have done my due diligence.

All-Star automotive has great customer service!!! I went there in 2019 because I had some car problems. I had to drop my car off but I was able to get transported back to my apartment using their transporting services. Even after they fixed my car, representatives would reach out to me via text to check on my car. At the time I thought to myself that it was very kind of them to continue reaching out to see my cars progress, months later. It made me feel like they really cared. But today, I just got off the phone with a gentleman who helped me be able to register my car. I was calling to see if All Star did emissions test but he informed me that that is required in Boone County. He really went out of his way to help me be able to register my vehicle even after he wasn’t able to service me. That gesture let me know that they are genuine and value custom service. I definitely recommend All Star automobile!!!

I dropped my car off early Thursday morning with brake light/electrical issues. By that afternoon it was done. So I asked them if they could look at my inspection papers cause I needed a tie rod replacement on the passenger front. They didn’t tell me I had to make a separate appointment they looked at it seen the problem and fixed it. The mechanics are awesome and Tammy you’re the jewel of the office!!! I hope nothing else goes wrong with my car but if it does I will definitely take her back here!!! Thank all of you for excellent service!!!!

I have had bad luck with car places and they were so beyond kind to me, they explained everything that they needed to do and what they thought I should get done, but they didnt push any services on me. My car needed something they werent capable of doing and they recommended 3 places that could instead of just telling me they couldnt help. They made an awful situation a lot better and less stressful! I will definitely be taking my car only to them from now on.

Always fast and probably the best communication experience Ive had with mechanics. Their inspection reports are unmatched, but they do always seem to come in at the top of the price range estimates. However, they have been negotiable when asked directly.

Good honest mechanics are difficult to find these days. Especially, for ladies.Our 2014 Kia was recalled. The car was having some of the symptoms mentioned in the recall letter.We took it to the dealership and when they were finished inspecting the car and identifying and correcting one problem, they had us expecting to replace or rebuild our engine which was part of the recall.Total cost 12,000 and some change.All Star came highly recommended by a friend.We brought our car in expecting an expensive repair. However, it turns out that the last place we got our oil changed put the wrong size filter on the car causing the oil light to come on.The shop changed the oil replaced the filter with the correct size filter and did the maintenance work that was due.This corrected the problem for the car but the service didnt end there. Randy is having us bring the car back in a few weeks to make sure there are no other issuesTotal cost was less than 1/10 of what the dealership estimated.All Star has earned a customer for life. We will be bringing our cars here from now on!!Thanks so much for your help!!!

I just moved to town and chose this place because it was a couple blocks from my house and I could walk to and from if needed. Everyone was so friendly and kind upon arriving and mentioned that they had a shuttle service I could use if needed, I came from a small town so I didn’t know this was a thing! The prices were affordable, the staff was amazing, and my car is running great!

The folks here were so polite, prompt, & helpful. We arrived in town from CO & the cars undercarriage needed a small repair. There crew fixed it within minutes at no charge. Good deeds like this do not go unnoticed. Support local business like this one. THANK YOU again!

Took our Chevy Malibu in a for a brake job - about a year ago rear single axle- over $800. competitive? I hate to think. I cant imagine that is a good value. Everyone is very nice and the work got done.

I really like the staff in the office. I honestly thought Id found my go-to mechanic. But theyre a little bit pricey for oil changes compared to other shops, and I was kind of broke when it came time for another oil change, so I took it to a different shop to get it done. Only they werent able to get the oil filter cap off without breaking it because it had been overtightened. The drain pan was overtightened, too. The new shop refused to change the oil and told me to take it back to the place whod done the last one. More than one mechanic at more than one shop said the same thing. When I spoke to All-Star about this, they said the other mechanic just wasnt as skilled as them. When I mentioned more than one mechanic said the same thing, they said it was probably because my car was cheaply made. When I asked them to take care of it they said sure, IF I brought it in and overpaid them for another oil change. Its easy to see how I could get into a never-ending cycle with this, so I declined. It was probably just caused by someone inexperienced using an air impact when it wasnt needed, but I do feel they should have made it right.

Used this place many years ago. Wasnt pleased with work on my 1991 Firebird. Smoked a lot after service (not before). Was told it was my car, not them, similar to other review. Got call this am from new owner/ manager (Devon?). To paraphrase, they take great pride in their service now.I see the Owner posted a reply below after he called me and I spoke with him. Uneasy about this. Glad they have new people and proud owner.

Ive taken my car here the last two years, and they always do great work. They send you a full email report on what theyve looked at and always check over your entire car each time you bring it in at no extra cost, even for routine maintenance. Always call before a repair or maintenance is done with transparent cost. Very happy with their services!

All-Star Automotive is AMAZING! Everyone there is incredibly kind and ready to help. They are fair and honest when working on your vehicle and I know they are as efficient as possible! I have gone to them for 2 large repairs now and they have done an exceptional job! They do a thorough check of your entire car as well which gives you an idea of anything else that could need some work in the future! They kindly call to inform you of the status of your car and wont do any work without consent to make sure you are always informed. Let me tell yall, I havent found a car place that is this kind! My boss had her car at the shop. They seemed friendly and very helpful.

Took our Jeep in to get an alignment done on it. We picked it up and i could hear major rattling going on in the front. Upon inspection they did not tighten the clamps down after aligning it. Took it back and they made sure they tightened it. We got it back there were MAJOR groove marks in the track bar and shortly after we had to replace again the tie rods and track back because of their mistake.

I would have to give All-Star 5 out of 5 stars for customer service. Great communication throughout the repair process. I would highly recommend.

Great service, danger to public health. I was very satisfied with the repairs done to my vehicle and my interactions with the staff, up until I came to pick up my car and there were employees and customers in the small front office not wearing masks, and an employee with no mask on drove my car out of the garage. COVID-19 is not a joke and I do not recommend this business until they are willing to follow Columbia City Guidelines and wear masks while inside other peoples cars.

My wife started coming to All-Star because they were the only ones in town who were able to work on her older BMW, but we always make sure to come back when there are issues because its the only place in town where she feels like she isnt being patronized or condescended. Ryan has always been helpful! Though reviews have said they are pushy, our experience has been much less so here than anywhere else. We have nothing but great things to say about the team.

Unwilling and uncooperative in every way. Potential thieves.Recently had my Camaro towed there for a diagnostic as it wasnt starting right after it died on the highway. Heard great things about them, figured it was a safe bet. I let them know up front that I didnt have ANY interest in putting money in to it, as I figured the engine was dead. Initial diagnostic went well enough, telling me I needed a new crankshaft position sensor. I showed concern during the phone call that there may be a bigger issue like the head gasket as it had overheated; Ryan assured me his tech was an expert and I shouldnt worry, so I authorized the repairs.After receiving no contact about how the repairs went, I gave Ryan a call back; he then informed me that the new crank sensor now started the engine, but after it warmed up it was spewing coolant out of the block, confirming a blown head gasket, which I had been assured wasnt the issue. If I had known the head gasket was blown, THEN I wouldnt have authorized the pointless repairs. As I figured it was the head gasket myself, it seems their tech isnt as skilled as they think.After they had basically demanded I pay them for the pointless repairs, I reminded them I had it towed there BECAUSE I didnt have money for repairing it. Continuing to REFUSE to negotiate with the charges, I planned on selling the car. Almost immediately I received a great offer for the Camaro, enough to cover the cost of their required charges. I told them I would need the keys back to sell it that evening and they completely refused to give them to me despite the car is junk. Accusing me that I might use the keys to get the car towed out of their parking lot, legitimate insanity.Refusing to buy the car without getting the keys first, my only buyer backed out. As I had to buy a new car and hadnt even paid my rent, I ASSURED them I couldnt pay their bill now, they still refused to negotiate the charges. Even refusing to let me get my personals out of the car or return my mailbox key off the ring, which is illegal.After receiving certified mail from them, which threatened me that theyd contact their attorney if I didnt pay by a certain date, I gave them a call once more, basically pleading at this point, Ryan told me hed get in touch with his boss and call me back; of course he never did so. I fully believe they intentionally declined all of my negotiations in order to screw me over. I couldve paid them with the sellers money, but they clearly dont care bout the money. They have zero respect or care for their customers.

The female receptionist are very mean, impolite and not professional. She asked me whether I CAN SPEAK ENGLISH? Im a master student in Mizzou, not a illiteracy.They can not find the real problem for my car. It was a very terrible experience.

All of the staff here are really great people. My check engine light came on so I brought my car in to have it looked at. My car has had several issues in the past and I knew that her time was slowly coming to an end so I was expecting bad news. Instead of trying to convince me to spend thousands of dollars on trying to fix my car, Brent was very honest with me and told me that his opinion is to get a new vehicle. It is very rare in this day and age to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers needs. I will be returning and using their services for any issues I have with the next car I will be purchasing.

This place was OUTSTANDING!! I dont know much about cars, but I went in and explained what was happening and within less than 24 hrs they told me what was wrong with it, what they reccomended to fix it (necessary and not), they worked with me and my situation and for that I am beyond grateful. Most definitely would reccomend to anyone.

Recently purchased a new (to me) vehicle and was looking for a shop close to work that I could depend on, from simple oil changes and tune-ups to more complicated fixes. Have taken my car in several times the past few months and each time I have been very pleased! I love that All-Star has small shop hospitality and customer service with the convenience and efficiency of a larger shop. Ive had to leave my vehicle overnight twice and each time the shop has lent me a loaner vehicle free of charge to get home and back. Theyve always been very upfront about how much everything will cost and provided detailed diagnostics. Give them a try!

I cannot rave about All-Stars enough!! I drive a 20+ year old car and a ton of repair shops in CoMo have tried to rip me off due to that when I take it for my yearly inspection - trying to charge me double or triple, unnecessary repairs, etc.A few fellow moms at VU recommended All-Star and every single one mentioned how honest and nice they are. And they werent wrong!!I called yesterday to make an appointment for my yearly inspection and they got me right in for today. I dropped it off and they called me 2 hours later to let me know my inspection was complete and all I needed was a 3rd brake light. Honestly I was in shock and pretty overjoyed!Im getting a new car in the next few months and it will be going to All-Stars anytime I need it worked on!!

Im in the same boat as many of All Stars other customers: Im the parent of a kid attending Mizzou. My daughter called me with a failing battery, her dashboard lit up like it was Christmas time, and her car barely able to move. Im a pretty capable mechanic but that doesnt do any good when shes over 100 miles away. I had her contact AAA and have the car towed to All Star. They had it diagnosed quickly and contacted me the same day with an estimate of repairs to get the car back on the road, as well as some other suggested maintenance items. I gave them the go ahead on the repairs and they had them done within a day. The final costs were competively priced and I never felt like they were doing unnecessary work. They also did a great job communicating and coordinating the process- talking to me on the financials and calling my daughter directly to arrange for the courtesy shuttle. My daughter said everyone was courteous and she was treated with respect. I will definitely be using this shop again. Thank you Tammie and Ryan!

Im a little disappointed with All-Star. I had them look over my car (a Hyundai Accent) before going on a road trip. I told them that my car was experiencing a rough idle. After inspecting my car, All-Star said that they couldnt find anything wrong. Four days later, I was on my road trip and the Check Engine light came on. It turned out that two of my ignition coils were malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. That was the sort of thing I was trying to avoid by going to All-Star before my trip. I should mention, however, that All-Star has done good work in the past.

Based on the good reviews, I decided to try this place out.Im very happy I did!The last shop I went to always wanted to talk to my husband. :(As a woman and a mechanical engineer, I know a few things about cars.All Stars staff was very prompt and professional.I was impressed by the Auto Vitals link that allowed me to immediately see what had been checked, and what might need attention.And they found a problem that the other shop mis-diagnosed and saved me a lot of money!The owner even followed-up with me after the service to make sure I was completely satisfied. Wow! Im impressed.

The crew at All Star is exceptional. From check in to pick up everyone is on the ball and nose to the grind stone. Nothing happens unless OKed from the patron and the quality of workmanship is equal to the cost. Guarantee is a bonus and they have followed through just as happily with fixing a bad part as to doing the original work. They are almost apologetic for a part being bad and concerned about the extra time spent by us on them.

A few times things were done sloppy. Turn signals didn’t work after getting headlights replaced, immediately returned and they fixed. Didn’t realize the same went for brake lights. A month later I got pulled over and almost ticketed for no brake lights because also didn’t reattach brake lights. During a subsequent visit for an oil change, engine air filter and cabin air filters needed replaced at the quoted price of ~$130. I opted to purchase the filters and replace them myself (at $12 per filter). When getting my car back and popping my hood, I notice the plastic housing that should be attached to the engine air filter was not attached at all. They had left two clips and a bolt off when I said I didn’t want the filter replaced. The housing could be picked up and removed from my engine area with nothing needed to unbolt or detach.Due to all of these sloppy issues over multiple appointments/years, as well as high quoted costs, I will not be using All-Star again.Oh, and don’t expect the “$25 off any preventative maintenance” coupon in the Add Sheet to apply to oil changes (silly of me to think that “any preventative maintenance” would apply to such preventative maintenance as an oil change).

I usually hate going to car shops because I feel that they always try to over sell. This was not the case at All-Star Automotive. I came in for an oil change and had other concerns about my car. After inspecting my car, I was given a thorough diagnosis. I loved the fact that they did not try to make me purchase services that I did NOT need. Not only that, but I was able to go into the shop and take a look under my car to actually SEE the problems the technician diagnosed. They even scaled each problem by stating what I should get fixed immediately (for my safety) and what could wait for later. I was very impressed with the service. My car now runs like new. I HIGHLY recommend this store. It is conveniently located, have a professional/knowledgeable/friendly staff, quick service, shuttle provided, they are very attentive and cater to each customer’s needs. They also have coupons which is always a plus for a college student like me.

Ive had multiple vehicles worked on here. They are transparent, quick and courteous. Most recently they did a pre-purchase inspection on a new vehicle I was looking to buy. They were able to squeeze us in without an appointment and the thorough report gave me the confidence to move forward with the purchase. I will definitely go back!

We had a great first experience with All-Star Automotive. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, including the owner, Devin, who is right up front and working with customers all day. We brought my husbands car in for routine maintenance, but it turns out that his car was in need of some extra TLC coming up soon, as its 12 years old and has 120k miles on it. There was zero pressure for us to do anything other than what we came in for, which is so hard to find with most mechanics! I also really liked that they emailed us a detailed report about the inspection they did, before they even called me to discuss what they found. Well be coming back for our all of our car needs!

As a woman, Ive had a lot of negative experiences with a lot of automotive garages in Columbia and out laying areas. Mostly dishonesty and incorrectly fixing the vehicle-having to go back, and rude treatment. After seeing the hundreds of good reviews on Google, and giving All Star a try, theyve completely lived up to everything I would hope for in an automotive shop!I had my GMC Jimmy oxygen sensors replaced, fuel pump replaced, distributor cap, wires and plugs replaced, and stuff.Initially calling them on the phone, they took the time to listen to my problems and concerns, and fully explained their thoughts on the matter and how they could help me to put my mind at ease. They were prompt with the amount of time they had my vehicle. The office and waiting area was clean, nice and comfortable. The folks working in the office were very professional, kind, empathetic to my situation, and very informative of everything going on. They have a texting procedure that sends you texts keeping you informed of whats going on with your vehicle, and they give you a full diagnostic print out of the mechanical status of everything with your vehicle. The work performed was correct and successful. They contacted me a few days after the service was preformed just to check on the vehicle and make sure I was satisfied. They left me feeling very well cared for and taken care of!Im so happy with them that Im taking my Silverado to them as soon as I can to have the breaks looked at.Hey I highly recommend these guys and am so grateful that I finally found a HONEST, Professional, nice, treat-you-with-respect auto shop! I recently brought in my vehicle after my rear, driver-side break rotor overheated. I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided by All-Star Automotive. The techs were incredibly thorough with their investigation, looking at calipers, comparing break-pad sizes, and even calling the Mazda shop to ask about recall information. They wrote up some replacement orders for me, but also cautioned me against spending more money than I needed to in order to resolve the problem. I chose a less expensive solution, and I havent had the issue since. Great work; I would come back without hesitation.

Really great service and very friendly and informative staff ! Ive never been given so much information about my car, and was not pressured to spend money on anything I didnt feel I needed or was ready to purchase. They were great about helping me figure out what was the most important thing for me to get fixed, as I am a graduate student and have a small stipend that is only dispensed once a month. The prices were very fair, especially considering the time and care given to my vehicle. Would definitely reccomend !

Had Brett give me an estimate repair for a 2004 Cadillac Deville. A new radiator and serpentine belt repair. Brett gave me an estimate of $999.00 for radiator and $162.00 for serpentine belt repair. I also had a coupon that says they will negotiate the repair price or donate to the Food Bank. Highway robbery!!!! Brett said they would honor coupon for 10% part price after he gave me that ridiculous estimate!!! Never have I been so disgusted in a business here in Columbia!!!

I trust these people. Never have thought they took advantage of me. They do push some of their preventative services like oil and fuel system treatments, but I appreciate that. They use proven products that are not snake oil....

My car broke down so I had to call AAA, and they recommended All-Star Auto over anything else since AAA members are prioritized here. They were busy Monday but still found time to look at my car and got it fixed before noon on Tuesday. And it wasn’t an easy repair. Very friendly staff as well! I can tell they sincerely want to please their customers to the best of their abilities! Highly recommend

My husband and I just moved to Columbia at the beginning of the year and this was the first auto-shop we looked at, and boy are we glad! The service is quick and friendly and they treat us with respect. When I recently had my tires rotated and my oil changed they mentioned that they did a basic look-over for any other warning signs and noticed my break fluids were low; I didnt feel like they were pushing me to have them fix it though and it was just a friendly concern for the safety of me and my car, which is a nice change from other shops Ive been to. Also, whenever theyve finished a job on our cars, my husband has received an email from them with details (and photos!) about exactly what they worked on, looked at, and any other potential concerns they found while working.I cant stress enough how happy we are with their services and we will definitely be coming back next time!

I had to drop off my vehicle for service on a working day. They provided me prompt service with a courtesy ride to and fro to work despite being a very busy day for them.The service was excellent, they called me for permission to change the filter they found needing change.I have used them for many years and feel that they provide honest and very good service. Those two locations were inconsistent with there finding and the price was way out there. After speaking with the staff at All Star I began to feel comfortable they had to keep my vehicle over night so they put me in a loaner. Customer service representative awesome I will only take my car to All Star for being so kind.

Amazing kindness shown to our son that truck stopped running. Made sure he got to work and re checked the truck to make sure it continue to run properly.2/17/21 We needed to get a car safety inspected before the DMV closed. You can go other places but, when the chips are down, you will find yourself coming back to All-Star for affordable, courteous, prompt and professional service. I can only afford to drive older, high mileage vehicles and commute 80 miles per day, so you know I must have reliable maintenance and service. That is what All-Star delivers.

I had the top end of my F150 rebuilt here. Normally this is something that would have issues later down the road. I drove and maintained my truck for a couple years without issue. That, to me, is a testament to good work. When I finally sold the truck the engine was still rock solid. I do think they cost a little more than the average shop but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. I would recommend them any time.

Despite all the good reviews, this shop charges double some other auto shops. It could be argued for quality work, but they also dont allow carry in parts. Ive had several instances of work done here and the outcome is it is sufficient if you dont mind paying an extra double what it could cost.

I came into town for my daughter’s modeling shoot. I MIGHT have been putting on lipstick and hit a curb.🙄🤗. I popped two tires. I called AAA, they towed my car to All Star Automotive. Of course I had difficult tires to match, and it was 3:30, but the guys at All Star Automotive found tires to fit, got my car ready and I was able to go back home that night. Did I mention ONE GUY STAYED LATE TO MAKE SURE MY CAR GOT DONE?!?! I will be forever grateful and impressed with All Star Automotive. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. Seriously. Give them a call or stop in. They rock!!!

100% going here for everything from now on. Brent was super helpful and everyone else was incredibly friendly. They replaced both front wheel barings, fuel injector, and flushed the brake lines and engine for under 2k. All in the same day!! I will definitely go back next time my car needs something done

Ive been in a few times now, and theyve always treated me with respect and honesty. They were really good about working with me when my car was having some mystery problems; they kept looking for the root cause of the trouble, and didnt mess around with things that didnt actually need fixed. I trust everyone in this shop, theyve always kept me in the loop and Ive never felt like they were trying to pull one over on me.

My husband and I have been using All-Star for several years and have been pleased with the level of competence, courtesy and professionalism weve received. But a recent experience really sealed the deal for our family. My mother had an accident while she was visiting us, and we suggested she take her truck to All-Star for repairs before she went home. All-Star had two technicians run blind tests on her truck to diagnose what was wrong. They explained to her in great detail -- but not in a condescending way -- what was wrong and quoted her $4K to replace various parts. When the parts arrived, they determined that some of the parts on my moms truck were actually salvageable, so they got her permission and fixed those. Her total bill was about $1K -- a significant decrease from what she was quoted. A less-scrupulous garage could have just fixed the parts and still charged her the original sum. Thank you, All-Star.

I’ve been using this business for years. There’s not a more honest mechanic shop in town. They are always transparent on what is being fixed. I even get pictures sent to my phone during their work to show me what needs done, and what is being done. Can’t say enough good things.

The shop provided me with a shuttle service to take me to my office and pick me up from there. I believe the main purpose of such wonderful service service is to respect customers time and I truly appreciate it; however, there was an incidence during my visit that totally defied such valuable purpose. In what follows I would like to comment few points that make me feel uneasy about my visit. :1) This visit was only for oil change as OI requested. When the car was examined it another problem was brought to my attention as the leakage of exhaust. It is surprising to me that this serious problem was not part of Requires attention in the report I got from the shop after my visit just less than two weeks before this one. I am confused that the problem went unnoticed in the last visit or I caused it just within the two weeks! In addition, when I asked on the price to fix the issue, the price for parts ($55) was quoted to me not the total including the labor, which turns out to be worth $60. I expect the total price to be communicated with me to make an informed decision especially considering the fact that just less than two weeks prior to this visit I had spent over $300 for brakes problem.2) The other issue that I found really irritating was the fact that the shop technician loosened the battery connection without informing me for which the anti-theft alarm on the radio/CD player went off. I noticed this after I left the shop and for this problem I had to travel back and forth to the shop two times until they fixed it. This was a huge waste of my time., which is actually more precious than my money.With these being mentioned, I hope I get a better service courteous to my time and trust next time I visit the shop.

Been going here for years. They always give me honest feedback on my car. They let me know what issues my car has and explain them to me in an understandable, non-condescending manner. They never pressure me to commit to additional services if I choose not to. I can schedule appointments and drop my car off and they take me to and from where I need to be without issue.

I live out of state and was purchasing a high performance vehicle from a private seller in Columbia, MO. I worked with All-Star Automotive to have them perform a pre purchase inspection prior to me travelling out to Columbia, MO to finalize the purchase with the seller. What followed suit, was a professional and pleasant experience. I had the seller drop off the vehicle at All-Star Automotive and they sent me a link with a ton of detailed images along with a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection which made me much more comfortable in buying a vehicle from out of state, sight unseen. Writing this review a few months after this service was performed and Im happy to report that I have had no issues with the vehicle whatsoever.

Took car in for oil change, got complimentary inspection. Inspection uncovered leaking driveshaft and the All-star team took the time to call my dealer and see if I was under warranty. Didnt push hard for me to get unnecessary fuel induction services or transmission flsuhes like youll get at some other shops. Shuttle service is convenient.

Very professional and stand on there work. Warrantees are great and they even provide transportation. Friendly employees and guaranteed to find your automobiles malfunction. Even though they’re more expensive than the dealership. That’s because their warrantees are better. They stand behind their work.

My Daughter attends college in Columbia. Ryan has a fantastic attitude. All Star will be my go to when she is in need of repair. Thank You!

Consider asking around town about pricing. I have had previous work done here and was satisfied however for my most recent breakdown, after having a 90$ consultation, I was quoted at 1900$ for a job. I ended up having the work done down the street for less than 1000$. Very friendly staff, but customer service isnt worth double the cost.

Our car broke down while we were coming in from out of town, and they fixed our vehicle in more than a timely manner, very great customer service and kept us updated on everything going on! Even fixed up parts when they couldnt order another till the next day!
