Great people to work and always willing to go above and beyond in order to provide exceptional service.
Im in heart failure and stage 3 chronic kidney with 1 kidney. Not in good health. October 2020 I had to go out of town for surgery which required me to stay over a few days for necessary recheck before returning home. That week here in TN we were having very hot days. We left our AC units on because of the hot weather. And, only to return home with coded AC unit that had kicked off. Now, all of everything upstairs is wet and moist, and mold has started growing all over walls, floors, ceilings, and has ruined our clothes, coats, sweaters, shoes, and bed clothing, and everything up there. Farm Bureau said they dont cover condensation, or moisture. Even though I have replacement policy. And, we have been with them for many many years, and have several properties with them. Will be taking all my properties with some other company, indeed! This is an uncalled for event that WAS NOT caused by us. Very unhealthful situation!!
Beautiful people and clean!
Great customer service!
Really nice leople
I have been with this company for over 30 years. I have not had any claims, so I have had no complaints. But I received a bill over the summer while I was out of town. My mail was not forwarded by the person looking after my house. The first bill was sent on June 5. The policy was cancelled only five weeks later. No phone call. No email. I am looking for another insurer.
Always very helpful!
Zero stars an option? This company is absolutely a disgrace and infuriating to deal with. My father-in-law passed away in Tennessee and unfortunately had them for his home owners and car insurance. I notified them right away if his passing, clearly that was a mistake. They were very nice at first and we were told we had 120 days before we needed to change anything. Not at all how it worked. The following month the car insurance was CANCELLED. Then the house insurance was CANCELLED because the house was vacant (of previous homeowner being deceased).. forcing us to open a more expensive vacant home policy, which they now refuse to provide US; the child and heir of the property with a copy of the policy. (Despite have a copy of the will).Disingenuous, difficult, untrustworthy, shall I go on? And they charge annual membership fees for this service? Ha! So do yourself a favor and pick a different insurance company before your family members get left arguing with them and are left with NO Insurance when they need it.
The staff here is top notch!
I’m currently a homeowner insured by Farm Bureau.. I filed a small claim, Knoxville sent an agent to my property without notifying me.. the agent made disrespectful remarks while conversing with my wife.. this claim has been a stressful and disrespectful issue.. and still not resolved.. my advice to all Tennesseans.. Get insured with a company that will assist its customers.. As for Paul and his staff in New Tazewell, TN, Paul is one of the best and his staff extremely helpful.. they just work for a horrible insurance company.. triple triple thumbs down to Farm Bureau in Knoxville & Columbia, TN...
Great insurance company
Worst experience of my life I HOPE YOUR NOT A PERSON TRYING TO FILE A CLAIM THAT IS THE OTHER PARTY!! I got a hold of my agent finally after lots of ignored phone call. Was told I would be able to get my car fixed quick and it is exactly. Almost 18 days and Im still stuck with out my car and farm dont give any concern for me Im broke with no way to work due to them not handling anything proper! I am so upset on the lack of communication and compasion! I will be in contact with the BBB AND CURRENTLY TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THE CEO IF HE EVEN CARES!$
Worked here 40 years. Wonderful memories and bosses. Shout out to Gina Parks.Have had my insurance with them since 1978.Never had a problem with a claim. My whole family has their insurance with them.
Im giving it one star because 0 is not an option. Worst experience ever. Worst part I wasnt even to blame. It has taken over two months for my claim to be resolved, and its still ongoing. No one bothers to update you and when you call your calls and voicemails are ignored. To boot I even got debited for the rental they were supposed to pay and afterwards they refused to reimburse me until I threatened to file a formal complaint with consumers complaint.
Tennessee Farm Bureau is a great place to work. Excellent work culture and nice people. They do have flexible work schedule and work from home options. The work life balance is fantastic. In short it is an awesome company to work, with, decent pay, good benefits, nice colleagues and excellent infrastructure.
Great staff and wonderful experiences throughout the years! Great insurance and the best prices!
I was a Farm Bureau of Tennessee member starting in 1961. I am still a Farm Bureau member (58 years), as always they have handled our (my wife & I) claims in a timely & fair manner.
I have been with Farm Bureau for 25+ years. I currently have 5 vehicles (full coverage), boat, life insurance, and homeowners insurance. Rates are higher than some but I figured loyalty and service are important...until I went to inquire about adding my last child...a little history...no auto accident claims (EVER), 1 homeowners claim (roof, after hail storms in 2011), no late payments and a credit score of over 750. I was told I am a risk due to their new underwriting and that my rates were going to increase 20%.....this would make my current auto 500.00 per month and rising to 650.00 per month when I add my last child....WOW...a little shocked and not ready to shop insurance but I had to....a rival company with a cute reptile beat the current auto by 155.00 per month...needless to say I moved auto and home over and will save over 2K per year...no great explanation from FBITN...my agent was apologetic and as stunned as I was.....good luck FBITN holding onto customers..don’t be fooled by them saying “you get what you pay for”. I did, both ways and the shaft came from Farm Bureau..BEWARE.
You have my full assurance, its the best insurance come to the Farm Bureau.
Best insurance in Tennessee hands down took out a full coverage claim a day after getting it because my trucks front end got smashed by another truck driving like a moron and caught flame nothing was left aside from the body and barely that. They still paid out full blue book price with tax and extra.
Dishonest! For every reason you use insurance this is not the company to utilize. This company does know insurance or the Insurance industry. This company doesnt provide skilled advise. This company does not protect you in your time of need.
Our auto was hit by a HIT and RUN. We obtained the license # and police when to their home. This info given to Farmers When you have a Hit and Run there is NO DEDUCTABLE on repairs..First they tell me a deductable, then NO deductable then yes deductable then NO deductable I went to the body shop today to leave the car and they tell me Farmers says YES A DEDUCTABLE You can take it from there
Best job ever
Worst Auto insurance, Ive been with them for two years, I had an accident in December 2016 and wasnt my fault, I have a dashcam in my car recording everything video and sent them the video for the accident but they are not paying my loan till now, when I called the adjuster (David), he said still waiting for your bank to fax me the paperwork, I called the bank same day and they said, we faxed your insurance everything they need 10 days ago, I lost the car and still making payments on the loan twice now after the accident, please dont ever try this company for auto, I pay money to cover my rental car for one month but they called rent A car and told them 27 days only then I have to pay, my insurance should be my Attorny but I have to hire attorney to push them finish my claim and he got me the 30 days rental, will work on getting my property damage and medical expenses.Very very bad experience.ThanksYasser
Best insurance ever. Great honest people.
They treat their customers poorly.
I filed my complaint with the state, very disappointed in the way this company treats their consumers.
This is the home office of the Tennessee Farm Bureau.
