I stayed in DBC rentals one bedroom for about a year. Absolutely great place to stay! The location was close to terrific trails and an easy drive to downtown Columbia. The rental payment includes all utilities which made creating a budget VERY easy. Maintenance was very quick and professional.Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to my commitment to the military reserves, but the management made the process extremely easy and were fantastic to work with.5/5! Would come back if I return to the area.

My wife and I lived at DBC Rentals for two years. The only reason we left is because we relocated out of state. The place is very nice and quiet. The staff is awesome and responsive. The maintenance issues were resolved immediately. The staff are doing a great job! Especially take care of any issues that we had!! We have recommended many friends to live here!!

My wife and I lived at Providence Court for a year. The only reason we left is because we relocated out of state. You simply cannot beat this place. The price is great, especially if you budget and like to know exactly what your expenses will be. The staff is incredible and very helpful. The few maintenance issues we had were resolved immediately. Seriously, you will not regret living here.

I lived in Providence Court for three years as a grad student at Mizzou. I lived in a one-bedroom and then a two-bedroom. It is the best apartment complex I have lived in. Shelly and Chris were also the best property managers Ive ever had. The apartments are very nice, there is great parking, theres a pool, and its in a great location for going on walks. Its also close to numerous restaurants, HyVee, and the recycling center. Cable, internet, and utilities are all included in your monthly rent which is convenient and affordable. If you are a grad student this is the perfect place to live in your time at Mizzou.

Snow plowing/removal and salting is very prompt - it usually happens within 12 hours of snowfall, even if its in the middle of the night! And its always done before the City of Columbia gets around to plowing city roads, which is very impressive.Excellent place to live! Great townhouses, plentiful parking, reasonable rent, and amazing staff! What more could you ask for?

Lived there one year ago. Management and neighbors were friendly. Maintenance came in a timely manner. Only compliant was that our dryer was not efficient.

By far the best place I have ever lived. Management has gone above and beyond for me in multiple situations and are always very personal in our interactions. The townhomes are in great shape and maintenance issues are dealt with immediately. Very pet friendly with a great backyard space. The neighborhood is very scenic and the people are friendly. I 100% recommend living here and am sad to be moving out this weekend. If I ever move back to Columbia, I will look into living at DBC Rentals again.

I am so lucky to have found Providence Court Townhomes (DBC Rentals). After living and working in Columbia for nearly two years, Ive heard horror stories about landlords and neighborhoods--you wont hear those about any of DBC Rentals properties. Providence Court Townhomes was a safe haven for me, and I was always happy that its where I chose to live. Chris and Shelley, who manage the property, are fantastic and responsive. They really want to make sure you are having the best living experience possible. Brian and Jerome, who do most of the maintenance, are prompt (same/next day) and skilled in repairing the few issues I reported. Everyone was always very understanding and skilled. If you have a furry friend, its a one-time pet deposit and no additional monthly rent (which carried over to my subletter). Its South of town, so its safe and quiet. Its within 5 minutes or so from Hy-Vee, Wal-Mart, Aldi, Kohls, MUs South Campus, etc., making it a surprisingly convenient location. Its about 8 minutes from the hospital and about 10-12 from downtown.I relocated to St. Louis for work, otherwise I would still be living at Providence Court Townhomes. Chris walked me through the subletting process, and he and Shelley have been great to the subletter. Everything is included (w/d, internet, electric, w/s/t, extended-basic cable, etc.), so its truly stress-free living. Check it out--the only thing to be disappointed about is if there are no openings.

Really great place to live!Chris and Shelle are great landlords! Best place to live for students everything is included in the rent (all Utilities and wifi). The townhomes were really great. They had a little back shared common area and my dog was able to go out to pee. The units were pet friendly and had their own washer and dryer. Plenty of parking and maintenance was always timely. The area is quiet and a good mix of undergraduate students, graduate students, families and working individuals. There is a pool if you need one. The main office collects large packages and are nice enough to bring them to you when you forget to pick them up. Good safe location in Columbia, close to Walmart, aldis and other restaurants. Lived there for four years and it was the best!

Great place to live! I have been a resident here for 1 1/2 years now and my lease is set to end mid-summer. I am SO happy I was able to find this place and even decided to re-sign after my first year (because of this, they gave me an $100 check!). I went to Mizzou as an undergrad and had my fair share with both good & bad landlords. When I decided to stay for graduate school, I wanted a quieter community that was dog-friendly.DBC rentals was that and SO much more. Anytime i have a maintenance request, they fix it in an extremely timely manner. Once, I locked myself out over a weekend, and the emergency maintenance arrived ASAP to provide me with another key.As I stated before, I needed a place that was dog friendly. I have a 2 year old Border Collie (when I moved in, she was only a pup), and they made this super easy for us. There is a one time pet fee (I didn’t have to pay it my second year), so no pet rent and several of my neighbors have dogs/cats. I don’t remember exactly, but they are super lenient on pet size which is nice for people who love big dogs.If you decide to live at Providence Hill, I would recommend the 2nd floor. I have a vaulted ceilings (makes it feel more spacious) and very rarely hear my neighbors. My downstairs neighbors have joked with me a few times that they can hear my dog playing with her toys (so I’m guessing sound travels super easy when you’re on the first floor because we are quiet). Also, the lease states that they will deduct an overall cleaning fee and carpet cleaning fee from your security deposit once you move out. So, as long as you know this and aren’t shocked, it’s no big deal. Finally, it was my first time living alone and I couldn’t be happier with this complex. It’s spacious, clean, has decent appliances, and a stacked washer/dryer (it can be small for bigger items, like a comforter, but it’s better than coin laundry or none at all).I definitely recommend DBC for anyone!!!

I cannot say enough good things about DBC. I have lived in Columbia for going on 10 years and have rented from several companies (unfortunately, I have moved around quite a bit). DBC offers not only the easiest living arrangements (all/most included)- thats a seller in and of itself- but maintenance is very timely and professional, and Shelly and Chris have treated me like an old friend since the day I met them. Each unit is thoroughly cleaned (Ive lived in a couple) before move in to the point that a clean freak like me only needs to do a quick wipe down (just to know I did it) before moving in. No joke. The business is run with sincere integrity, something that is hard to come by in real estate rental companies in college towns, and that is very important to me. They do what they say theyll do and are not interested in nickel and diming tenants to death. I dont know who owns the company, but I heard it was local. Whoever they are, they have done right to the Columbia renters market. I HIGHLY recommend DBC rentals to anyone.
