Linda is a terrific seamstress. She is willing to work with her clients to make the outfits work for them and think of creative solutions to problems. I brought a bridesmaid dress to her and a week before the wedding when I tried it on, I realized my rib cage had expanded to the point of being very uncomfortable in the dress due to being pregnant. Linda went immediately into problem solving mode and found a solution to the problem that allowed me to wear the dress comfortably. I highly recommend her services!

I brought my wedding dress to Linda very last minute (1 week before my wedding), as it needed several adjustments and changes. She squeezed me in, amidst several other upcoming weddings. She worked so hard on my dress, putting in many extra hours! She even worked on her days off to ensure she could get it done on time! I am so incredibly grateful for Linda. She does amazing work, listening carefully to her clients to make sure they are happy with the end result! I am so pleased with how my wedding dress looks after her work! Joette is hands down amazing and a true miracle worker. I have worked with her on 2 dresses - an engagement party/graduation dress and my wedding dress. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and both times gave great recommendations and found tweaks to optimize the fit that I hadnt even noticed, which were much appreciated since I know very little about alterations. She was willing to talk with me about my ideas and preferences, and work with me and my timeline to make sure everything came out perfect and on time. Cant say enough how much I appreciate the work she did on my wedding dress - I was coming in from out of state and was not available for multiple fittings, but I called ahead and once Joette accepted the job, she worked with my time and logistical constraints like a wizard! 3 weeks after seeing my dress for the first time, she delivered on a perfectly fitted and pressed dress ready for the big day. Prices extremely reasonable - originally quoted a large sum for hemming & strap length adjustment at the store where I purchased the dress, Joette did all those alterations and then some for less than a third of the price. She mended a jacket for me with a hole in the outer shell. I asked her if she could make it unnoticeable (the first place I went said they could only put a patch over the hole). I’m so glad I got a second opinion. She did a wonderful job. I can barely tell it’s been it’s been repaired!

Id like to add my voice to the chorus of cheers for Joette Design. This woman has some serious skills. I bought a pair of military surplus winter wool trousers that were too long and had a button fly which was very difficult to close. I asked her to hem the pants and replace the button fly with a zipper. She admitted that the zipper work was going to be a bit of a challenge, due to the design of the fly, but she would do her best. Her best is awfully good. To look at them, you would never guess that the trousers were not manufactured with a zipper fly. I was very impressed. In addition she is a pleasure to work with and her prices are very reasonable. Joette Design deserves my business, and yours.

Linda was so great to work with - she took me on as a client last-minute after my original tailoring place gave me my wedding dress back with incomplete/incorrect alterations, just less than 2 weeks before my wedding! I came to her practically in tears, and she quickly found the problems and assured me she could make adjustments to fix everything. Within a week she had my dress perfectly altered, steamed, and pressed, and it looked SO perfect on my wedding day. She also helped one of my bridesmaids with last-minute adjustments 2 days before the wedding! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This woman is truly talented. I was very hesitant to go here because there wasn’t as many reviews as others however, I did call her and she got me in within a very close time frame to my wedding. I just had my first appointment to alter my wedding dress. My ideas are non traditional and she was enthusiastic and explained everything she was doing and why it needed to be done. I was a little nervous because I’d never had any tailoring done but she really went above and beyond. I’m so excited to see the final product. Also the price was surprisingly low!

I am the mom of the bride whose wedding dress was mistreated by another seamstress and needed help less than two weeks from the wedding.. We needed a second opinion and Linda took us on. She was both kind and clearly talented. She had ideas to fix the dress. Joettes has had a review where she did not take on a client and the person was upset. Linda is careful to take on only what she can and typically does not take on someone last minute. This is so that she can give her attention to each client. She is honestly so amazing and was so caring to help us in our time of need. She truly saved us!!! Very talented. Very caring. If you have a wedding dress, go here. You will not regret it!!! Ive been here for 3 different bridesmaids dresses, which all needed a ton of work. She did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Her schedule is very flexible as well!

Very rude - called to inquire re: bridesmaid dress hemming and asked if I could stop in and rudely responded “no” and then went on to say she had too much work and couldn’t take on more work. Terrible customer service — acted as if the service she provided is a burden. Don’t waste your time.

Got my wedding dress altered here and she added a bustle that was so beautiful, so many people commented on how great it looked and how well the dress fit! She is so kind and careful to make everything the way that I wanted it, overall a wonderful experience!!!

Haven’t had the pleasure of working with them yet, but I would like to open a recent one star reviewer’s eyes, to the service that she has received, and potentially persuade some of my fellow younger generation folks to think about their efforts when they cast quick judgements on one of a small business’s main sources of advertisement.If you notice the operating hours, for Joette’s, it tells you that business hours are minimal and vary per day and time. These hours are times when they can work directly with customers and provide them the service of fitting their most important pieces of clothing, and instilling trust, in us, that they will be able to provide the best fit, within the timeframe we expect. This leads me to assume the other off-days and off-hours are spent working morning, noon, and sometimes overnight, to make our suits, gowns, and wedding dresses fit just the way we hoped for. This is the time they contribute to making sure we are prepared for our most-important occasions, at the time when we need to be looking our best.Why plaster their page with “Terrible customer service?” Your reasoning, (explained with a long run-on sentence, lacking any punctuation, filled with four ‘ands’) immediately contradicts your statement. You called to inquire about using their services, when she gave you an answer that you didn’t like, you were upset, and you perceived it as being “Rude.” You were blind to the fact that she did you a service by being completely honest. The fact that she knows she could not take on anymore work, leads me to believe that she is experienced, and very skilled in the service that she provides, through Joette’s. Furthering my point that you casted quick judgement, you could not even take the time to use proper English, (probably started your review submission with the words, “Hey Google!”) in a review that casts such a dark shade on this business’s reputation. Shame on google for featuring a portion of this one star review. They found the only words that closely resembled a constructed sentence, and put them at the top of the page.I have the upmost respect for the skilled and experienced owners/employees of small businesses. Their commitment to providing a quality service is easily overlooked by the customers glued to their phone, with their finger hovering over the ‘thumbs-down’ icon, expecting the world at the snap of their dainty fingers, right before their soy lattes, and immediately after they have dictated a heavily slanderous review filled with weightless reasoning. I hope that someday you will mature to appreciate the true blessing honest answers can be. After picking through the bulls***, we are given daily by the one star reviewers of this world, I can appreciate an honest straightforward answer.
