DO NOT RENT A CAR HEREI normally go to Ontario Avis. I had to get my car serviced and this location was close to my job so I can pick it up on my lunch break. We reserved a car a week in advance when we get there the lady had us sign a form for a car inspection that we did not look at we declined and she said we can just take pictures. I told her We will not sign the papers until we inspect the car that’s a legal document. She also mentioned a $250 fee for bringing it bad dirty. Which i have never heard of but was not a big deal because we always take care of our rentals. She never gave us the key and the door was locks So we go to look at the car outside of the car to find the BUMPER SCRATCHED, passenger SIDE WAS SCRAPPED ON BOTH DOORS a dent also a lot of DEAD BUGS IN THE FRONT OF CAR. So we let the lady know she goes okay just take pictures. We go to put our things inside and noticed the whole car and trunk smelled like WEED ! Then we noticed liquid on the side of drink holder, DASHBOARD WAS NOT CLEANED, All the seats stained GUM ON CARPET AND LIKE SOMEONE TRIED PULLING THE FLOORING UP, Last but not least THE VISOR MIRROR WAS COMPLETELY MISSING. We called the lady who rented us the car Paula. She lets us know that we can get it washed and give us $25 for the wash but yet said it’s $250 if we bring it back dirty. Which we was given the car dirty. I let her know that is there job to make sure the rentals are ready to rent. She then says we can go see about a trade in at the Ontario location or wait until Friday to get another on from their location. She said that I’m more then welcome to just call the 800 number and see what they can do. This was the worse customer service and experience I ever had with renting. Please do better because this is not okay.

After renting a car for a weekend and giving me a car that smelled terrible inside with a dirty interior, than upon returning told me I have to go vacuum the car my self or get a 400 cleaning charge. Terrible customer service and customer appreciation. My better judgment says they do not properly clean nor sanitize the vehicles upon arrival. Especially during a pandemic.

Michael Jacobs sold me our car. He was patient with me even though I was not so patient with him. I got a fantastic car at a great price, as advertised though I had to bargain hard for it. Professional, calm, worked hard for us. Thank you Team Avis!!!

Avis needs to update their website, telling beloved customers that they are not allowing rentals. We made a reservation and traveled 40 miles to pick up the rental, and we get to Avis and all of a sudden they are not renting out their trucks. Update your website

Never got the vehichle

Sorry but this place needs to get some help asap.....from getting some new hired help to training their employees sufficient enough to operate the facility professionally and train them to maintain the property. They have trucks all over the place....they are short handed and takes a very long time to get some assistance.

We have been renting vehicles from this Avis for over five years. Its Great! Friendly professional staff. And the owner is the best in the business

They lie :D they lie so much. Random check in change by an hour, they said the car didnt have enough gas in spite of it being full and not taking any more, its absurd. Be aware youre gonna have to pull off and fill up at the Arco across the street. And keep your receipt.

SlimeBall people work here. NEVER AGAIN. Sold a messed up car and lying trying to get me to take their loan provider. STAY AWAY

Mark at the Avis rental in Redlands,CA is AWESOME!!, now if you want a different car every week go during the week, NOT on a weekend, but other than that, he and his staff (I only went on the weekend, Sunday to be exact) are top notch and will take care of you!!

Paula is such a great rep for the company. I have rented from her many times over the years and she ia very professional, nice and knowledgeable when it comes to rental car process! I would definitely recommend this location if yourre looking to rent a car!

Vehicles not well maintained. Make sure Id you do rent from here, check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving for safety and proper documentation.

I called for a quote and the lady Paula was so rude she automatically told me theres no cars and hung up on me I was still talking and she hung up on me and I called back and as I was talking she hung up on me again, so I decided to call again and as soon as she heard my voice she said bye And hung up by far this is the worst customer service ever I always go to you guys but now Im very dissatisfied . she was so rude and she didnt even let me ask questions .and I called back and come to find out shes the manager never again will I do business with that company again she should not be manager if she has a bad attitude and is so rude. There is a reason why nobody rents from this guys. They try to over charge you and hope to get away with it. Counter Lady was missing when I got there this morning. I started looking for somebody and I was yealling for help. Eventually she showed up and seemingly upset told me that she was in the restroom. I said, ok. She then went on to explain to me that she has to use a restroom all the while being super rude. I wasnt responding and I just wanted to return the vehicle and go on to my own business. She tells me that Im alset, but I asked for a receipt. She got more upset, and after checking the car for a third time she agreed to give me a receipt. When I got the receipt I saw an extra $39.75 charge on it, my rental was only $52.99. I rented it for one day. She said that it was for 1 hour late fee, I was only 30 min late. I told her that it is not right. Then she went on how I am responsible to read the contract to know what I am getting myself into before signing it. I rent cars all the time, but from more reputable companies. I never had to deal with something like this. I called Avis Customer Service and after them explaining to me that I was in wrong they were willing to make one time curtesy to refund me that $39.75. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BRANCH. STAY AWAY.

Customer service is always prompt and courteous. (with the exception of the prior rental I had) we rented the car for a week but needed it for a month due to my wifes mother passing. There was a heavy set caucasian gentleman with a beard that hassled my wife with the turn in. Shed just lost her mother 3 weeks prior. When my wife went to turn in the vehicle, he acted like a complete ASS. He told her that he could not split the payment between cards without prior authorization. I drive a semi truck and was on my way in to pick her up. He also told her that they had to charge her for another day being that it was about 90 minutes late. So there she was waiting on me and, she suggested that she take the car to an atm or bank to get the cash. This individual stated smugly and honestly if I were there, somebody would have taken an ass whipping. He stated that hed have to charge her for using the car. She stated to him that shes already paid for another day and that if we did not have to be upstate that evening she would have kept it for the time he charged her ever so unfairly for. But hey, that was then and this is now. I was met by a younger asian and a latino lady that were awesome, extremely helpful and gave me an overall welcome feeling. I did not see the heavy set bearded dude (and honestly was kind of looking around to speak with him). Sorry, Im getting side tracked. The bottom line is: The later two individuals have met both my wife and I with courtesy and professionalism. I hope to rent from them again. I usually use Enterprise and rent cars about 90 days of the calendar year but came back due to the younger man and young lady that KNOW Excellent customer service. I look forward to future rentals from this property.4 stars, the reason its not 5 is that this property has a heavy set caucasion gentleman that is not customer friendly.
