Updating my review based on recent interactions with customer service (was 2 stars, bumping to 4). I have been having issues with diminishing service over time (particularly with upload speeds) to my house. As a work-from-home individual, my connection is critical and the reason I moved to this location in Colorado Springs (to benefit from fiber service). Since my initial review and service requests, the team taken pretty swift action to resolve my concerns and also informing me that the contract for residential service isnt a service level agreement. Keep in mind this means they only guarantee you up to 1gb of download, not over and above that. I am going to leave this review at 4 stars for now while I test out these resolutions going forward. The technician helped me setup my devices. I am happy with the price and network. A lot cheaper than Xfinity and CenturyLink and less problems. No dead spots with Google mesh system I have. Fast internet. Love their customer service and no long hold times or talking to a computer.
Called to inquire about starting up a new business plan, got Jim on the phone. Im leaving this review because even though he wasnt able to service the area the man took the time to still give me a few tips and tricks as I was shopping around. StratusIQ is the best internet/TV/phone provider we have ever had. They have reasonable prices and the customer support is outstanding. Anytime we have a billing problem, they have been able to work it out. It is so nice to have a local company available for any issues that arise.

Great Customer Service for sure great company to have as your carrier
While they have a lot of positive reviews, I feel like most of the reviewers dont understand tech and leave good reviews because it was better than their last ISP.I service a client who uses Stratus, and she does not get ANYWHERE near the speeds she should be getting (about 30Mbps down average). Around 4:45PM every day, her service is so terrible we cant even remote into her machines...we can remote into peoples computers even when theyre using a friggin 4G Hotspot to give you an idea of what kind of speeds we can support...This is my experience as someone servicing a StratusIQ customer. For fiber, this has got to be a joke, right? Theyre overselling a service knowing the majority of customers wont understand speeds, or tech in general, and know people will pay for it blindly because companies like Xfinity are even worse.

Just moved to Colorado Springs and chose StratusIQ for our HSD needs. My wife and I both work from home full time, stream our television, and have several smart devices. First and foremost the speeds and reliability of our internet have been excellent. I just ran a speed test as Im typing this review, keep in mind its mid day: Im getting 473mb down and 51mb up. Secondly, the customer service has been excellent from the first time I called! I spoke wit Maya who gave me her direct line to follow up with any questions, which I did a couple of times and she was great to work with! Jon performed the install and he did a great job as well. Install was quick and clean, then he gave me a tour of the app Im using to manage the network and we were done. Were very happy with the decision and would recommend StratusIQ to anyone who asks!

Tech will be coming to the house to look into concern, and I’m confident they will find the solution. Gal I had spoken with was super present and easy to chat with. Obvious they care about each client, and go the extra mile to ensure clients are taken care of.

StratusIQ has given great customer service. The installer arrived within the right time frame and was done within time. As great as this is the technician was very respectful and had a great attitude. StratusIQ customer service has even called to check the experience. I have had no issue with my internet service, which with my last service any change in weather and we would loose internet service for around 2 weeks. A plus is the service I have now is only $20 more a month and is much better. Above and beyond so far!

Thought it was going to be one of those Mondays...Contacted the billing department because we hadnt yet received our bill and we wanted to get it paid (first of the month and all). Reached Robb and he patiently walked me through setting up our account and logging in. Thankfully he stayed on the phone with me through that process because once logged in the bill was completely miscalculated and far more than we had expected to pay.Long story short, Robb remained cool, calm, collected, patient and professional. He figured out what had gone wrong and got us back on track and never once made me feel disrespected or unappreciated as a client/customer. I just moved into a new home and there is a StratusIQ box on the side, I was so excited to see that there was Fiber available! I checked the website and I was first disappointed to see that it was 1000/100 fiber, but you can pay $14.99 to double your upload speeds to 200. True fiber internet should be 1000/1000, for download and upload. Typically, this means its not true fiber internet.However, this wasnt what deterred me from their services. What got me was their relentless phone calls every morning trying to get me to sign up for these services. Every morning, I get a phone call and an email. The phone call is word for word the same voicemail recording.I work evenings so they always call when I am asleep, I respond to the emails every day and not one reply has come through. They called on Monday, Tuesday and Today (Wednesday). I responded to each and every email, and the next day I get a new email with the same generic message.If this is any indication of the service I will receive, I dont want anything to do with it. I had to block their number and report it as spam so that I dont get calls from them anymore. I had to do the same for my email since clearly, they have no interest in having an actual conversation. There is no excuse not to response to my email inquiries when THEY are the one that sent me the email in the damn first place!I will wait for another provider to come through with Fiber, these guys operate with spam like behavior.
I was with CenturyLink for 2 years....Comcast for 4 years...and both were....disappointing, to put it mildly. If Im being honest, they sucked. network drops, speeds nowhere NEAR what was advertised, and we all know the customer service debacles that DEFINE Comcast.StratusIQ (formerly Falcon Broadband) sent a flyer to my house, offering 3 times the speed for less than half the cost, and no data caps. I took a chance and switched....its been 2 years now, and folks, THIS is what an ISP should be. It has never gone down for me, and speeds often exceed what Im promised. I just upgraded to 1G speed -- for the same price I was paying Comcast to get 250M speed.It just works. I dont have to think about it. I dont run constant speed tests anymore.They deliver what they promise...which is refreshing.
Absolutely outstanding service! We just had John and Steven out to install internet, phone, and TV. They both were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. John especially went above and beyond to run the lines into our house exactly where we wanted them and then to get everything hooked up to our receiver and surge protector inside a very cramped entertainment center. It was a complicated install with some unique challenges, and we really appreciated Johns hard work and perseverance to get it done and ensure everything was working correctly. He also has a great attitude and is very personable!As for the services themselves, we are thrilled with our vastly improved internet speed, and we love that they use TiVo as their DVR platform because of all of the excellent streaming and recording options it provides. We highly recommend this company, especially in Black Forest, where the internet speeds available (through CenturyLink, at least) were downright dismal!
A couple weeks ago Juliana stopped by and let me know that Fiber internet is available in our business park. I jumped at the opportunity, signed up, and had the business service installed. I am absolutely blown away by the level of professionalism, quality of service and outstanding value that StratusIQ brings to my business. A side note to the level of confidence I have with StratusIQ: I have two other providers, to ensure my eCommerce platform has true up-time consistently, StratusIQ is now my primary service point, and I can sleep peacefully knowing my servers are fielding orders from across the USA and not dropping a beat! StratusIQ recently buried fiber lines in rural Colorado Springs, which was initially exciting because most of the other options in the area are lower quality. Six months ago, Sebastian sent an exploratory email to the area with the goal of assessing interest levels. He was responsive and even helpful at that point, which is why I went out of my way to offer advice about reaching the rural population in the area. He appreciated the information because it helped his bottom line, but I figured it was worthwhile because spreading the word helps my neighbors. His responses to my emails were quickly returned and my questions were answered. That is no longer the case.Ive been trying for two weeks to get answers to very simple questions; the sales person, Mya, and Sebastian, the director of sales and marketing, are very slow to respond and they do not fully answer questions. When Sebastian initially explained the service agreement options, he specifically told me there would be a no-contract option. That is no longer the case as they want an 18-month agreement. In the agreement, it says the promotional price is offered for the duration of the term, but it does not mention the non-promotional price. I asked Mya to clarify and her response was contradictory: We are always on promotional pricing. At the end of your contract, contact the billing department to get on another promotional pricing agreement. Promotional pricing is not promotional if your pricing model is always the same, but why would I need to contact the billing department if that is the case? That was either an outright lie or she does not know what shes talking about. My experience so far tells me its probably a mixture of the two.The StratusIQ website does not list my address as accessible even though there is a fiber post at the end of my driveway. I understand these things take some time, but it has been months and the site still isnt showing availability at my address. This was initially a problem because Mya said service would not be possible to activate until a later date. I pressed for more information and she asked someone, who said service actually is available. Okay, great. When can it be activated? She did not have an answer, the person she asked while we were on the phone did not have an answer, and Sebastian has not responded to three of my attempts to gather this information from him even after Mya told me he was expecting to hear from me.I could go on, but its more of the same. Maybe the service is fine once you actually get it, but I dont know because I cant get basic information from anyone at StratusIQ in a timely manner. Ive made six phone calls and sent 10+ emails with the same questions each time and they mostly go unanswered. That is way too much effort. Its a shame because I went out of my way to help this company and now they cant even tell me how long it will take to start a service agreement once I place the order.Edit: In response to Sebastians response:>your experience/review is not consistent...My review is accurate regarding my experience.>You haven’t responded to any of my calls or emailsI called you several times and sent many emails. Started off with great service. No problems at first. They were cheaper than most other providers. Until today when they flat out lied and didnt own up to there mistake. Last week, while I was in the car with my mother who was calling about paying her payment a little late a man answered and told her that would be fine. We would be able to pay that on my moms next paycheck. It was a super quick phone call, not even a minute phone call. He sounded super nice and said it was no problem. We also emailed them later that day saying we had made a payment arrangement that was cleared by this man.Then today we see our cameras at home are off. So she calls to see there is an outage in the area and they said due to not receiving a payment they shut it off. My confused mother tells them we already talked to a man a few days prior and who said we could make the payment later. They asked what his name was but he never gave it to my mom. We told them it was a super short call and the man was really nice and said it was fine. My mom was dealing with a patient and had to gave them call her back. They call back about 10-15 minutes later and my mom talks to them. Its a man on the phone(the supervisor) who states he is the only male who works in the building. And my mom instantly recognizes his voice because its a super kind voice. She says so it was you I talked to. I remember your voice. He looks to see when my moms account was accessed and is shows no one accessing it last week. I was in the car with my mom when this phone call took place and I heard his voice through the car. It was him. Yet he still claims this didnt happen. If hes the only male in the office it had to have been him who talked to us... my mom has a very weird last name thats hard to pronounce and stands out AND she was calling about a late payment. How do you not remember this conversation? Im sure he was dealing with another customer and was busy and probably forgot to go back and make a note about it in the computer. But still this coward wouldnt own up to his own mistake AND charged us a reconnect fee along with half the payment getting payed. He could look and see right there that my mother has ALWAYS payed even if it was late. So that being said, were going to switch to another provider and make sure everyone we know knows StatusIQ is ran by a coward and a liar. I have NEVER written a review before but the way this man treated my mom made my blood boil. If I could give a 0 star review I would. REPLY: A great way to rectify the situation would be to ensure that your employees actually pull up the patient in the computer when theyre speaking to them. Why talk to a customer and not have their information pulled up? Makes no sense but I guess thats just me. If you had good customer service youd know that you shouldve said im sorry our mistake. I didnt see we accessed your account but I see youre a good honest customer and I will definitely do this for you. But no, my mother was basically called a liar.
I will open with saying I have not nor will I ever have this company as an internet provider.I called several companies to get quotes on providers and this is the only company who has called me everyday at 9am since trying to set up services. I made it openly clear during the initial call that I was just searching/pricing around.I finally had enough (I work nights so calling me and waking me up every morning for this upset me very much) and called them to take my phone number off of whatever list they have.Extremely unprofessional to call to “set up services” after ONE pricing quote.
Sebastian has been beyond helpful with this whole process. I would recommend these fellas to anyone I know.

I have been with Falcon Broadband for about 7 years. Their customer service and tech support has always been outstanding. Mother nature (and some human intervention - digging) have caused problems only a couple of times and Tech Support has always been there to fixed it as soon as possible, even when it has been on the weekends or after normal business hours. There is always someone on call that you can speak with directly.My original reason for switching to Falcon Broadband was because of cost. Their service costs still remain better than other service providers.Small business is very important to me and my family. Falcon Broadband is owned and managed locally. This puts money back into the pocket of our local economy instead of shipping it off to places like California or even Denver.My primary experience comes on the residential side, however, from the numerous businesses I have had interactions with, the business services are above par also.So my impression is 5-stars. Customer service, broadband up-time and speed, technical services and the fact that they are a local small business will keep me as a customer for a long time to come.
Dave and the StratusIQ team have been an outstanding help to Something New: Bridal & Formal in Colorado Springs. Ive typically hated selecting the lesser evil between the two larger telecom providers for residential and commercial needs. When we recently expanded our bridal shop, I was pleasantly surprised to learn StratusIQ has fiber internet options. They have their own infrastructure and equipment in the ground and dont have to rely on other larger companies. They also provide a more personalized touch being here in the local community. We are over 3 months into utilizing their services. We are extremely pleased with the internet speed, training materials they provided our team, equipment, and more. If you are looking to change or select telecom services, dont waste your time interviewing the large companies and reach out to StratusIQ first!
They give excellent and friendly service at a reasonable price for their internet access. Their internet service is extremely reliable and fast. Ive had their service for about 5 or 6 years now, without problems or conflicts. Their staff will handle any questions and any equipment upgrades promptly and efficiently. I think they are the best internet provider in the Colorado Springs area at the best price.
We switched to stratusiq after our previous internet provider didn’t offer fast enough speeds to meet the needs of our families internet usage. Amazing customer service!As a church, we needed to provide live streaming to our people unable to attend. We had been using Century Link for some time because it was the ONLY internet service provider that was connected to our property. The highest service speed that Century Link could give us was 12 mb down / 2 mb up. TERRIBLE!Comcast wanted over $20,000 just to run a line to our building. That was out of the question for a smaller church like ours.Stratus came along and offered us 300/100 with just small connection cost to our building! After installation, our costs are cheaper than we were paying for our BAD Century Link service. We have had to work through a few issues getting everything just right with phones (we have older phones system and 3 lines) and internet speed, but their customer services is hands down THE BEST I have dealt with. One phone call and they are on it immediately.All I can say is, if they are in your area, call them today and make the switch. Commercial or residential, you wont be disappointed

They came and swapped me out from Comcast on December 2nd. I havent had an issue since install. Download and upload speed is much faster and cheaper than Comcast.
We recently lost channels weve had access to since 2012. When we called about it, we were told that during Covid shutdowns they did an audit and found many who were receiving channels they werent paying for. First of all, our bill has increased by $50 since day 1, and now theyre telling us that to get those channels back they want an additional $15. Lost our business.
Great customer service and happy with the speed of Internet. TIVO is an adjustment if youre used to Xfinity, there are some features I feel are lacking. Overall, very satisfied.

The internet service is not reliable with this company. There are continual outages without service. It is very annoying that the internet is not available when you need it. If you work from home at all - this may not be the service for you.

We were getting terrible wifi service out in Peyton and the bills were constantly rising, so I made the switch to Falcon Broadband about a year ago. I am very happy with the lightning fast speed for my internet. My bill is always the same and they are constantly upgrading the equipment. The times Ive had a question, a real live person answers my phone call and is professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend calling Jordan at Falcon Broadband to see if they service your area.
Called at 230 about the Internet being down, fixed by a technician who came to our house by 430 on the same day. No charge given due to a simple mistake made when it was installed. They took responsibility and, the Internet works great. Ive had falcon broadband for 3 years now and have never had a problem with their sevice. Highly recommend.

Ive been a Falcon Broadband customer for the last 3 1/2 years (internet only) and never had any problems. Not a single outage in all that time, no pricing changes, no need to call customer service. It all just worked and it felt great to be free of Comcast horror and support a local business. I really hope this change to StratusIQ does not affect the service quality.

Had Falcon Broadband for 3 years before it was taken over by StratusIQ and maybe had one outage. Now I’m writing this review on LTE because this beautiful Sat afternoon I have no internet. Service goes out once a month it seems like and went out during the recent big snow storm for almost 3 days when other folks internet seemed fine. Other than changing the name from Falcon to Stratus I have no idea what else happened but it’s not reliable anymore and it doesn’t seem like they fix anything after hours so if your internet is out at night you might as well go to sleep.
We have had excellent customer service with Stratus IQ. The price is reasonable and all staff we have worked with have been pleasant and helpful.

To date, this is the best service I have received from any Internet Service Provider (ISP)! I was overpaying for internet with Comcast since I was being forced to pay for TV channels I never watched, so I decided to look into StratusIQ. I originally had Comcasts 150 Mbps package and decided to get StratusIQ 200 Mbps package which would lower my internet bill by $35/mo! Besides the cost savings, StratusIQ was extremely responsive and knowledgeable to my technical questions (I am a cyber engineer by profession) and when I decided to sign up for service they came to my home the very next day! They are a small operation so their phones are constantly busy. Your best bet is to email them and you can usually expect to get an email back the same day.
While I cannot subscribe to Falcon Broadband because they are not available in my area, I will give them five stars for their service to my mother-in-law.After several years of dealing with numerous internet and television companies, she was growing tired of the monthly runaround. Mystery charges, constant increases in service charges, and lackadaisical customer service drove her to the brink. I suggested she call Falcon Broadband. She was immediately impressed and relieved by their quality of service. While she had a few minor problems with her initial telephone service, they were always prompt and polite until the problem was resolved. Everytime she has had the need to contact customer service she is greeted by a human being who is friendly and helpful. Possibly best of all, her bill has remained consistent each month with what it was when she initially signed up.I hope they are available in my area soon as I too will dump the crooked provider I currently have and go with FB.

Waited on hold.. all the way until it said I was next.. then 10 minutes later it said there was a high volume of calls (middle of a week day) and that they would have to call me back.. would have been nice to have been told that BEFORE I waited on hold for 15 minutes... still better than Comcast though because they havent stole my money like Comcast does every other month.
I always try to use local businesses, but these guys have finally pissed me off. Wife has been complaining for months over their crappy DVRs from the 20th century. Many blackouts INCLUDING over 2hrs during the WS. Could you imagine if the Rockies were in the series? So buyer beware to get junk service and like me, good luck canceling your service as theyll tell you they have PC problems...
We are very pleased with Falcon Broadband. Best internet provider weve ever had! Internet had a few issues at the beginning, but the problem was with the router. They sent a tech quickly who fixed the problem at no charge and it has worked suburbly ever since. Cable TV is excellent as well. Customer service is very friendly.
I have had Falcon broadband for over 10 years the service is great and working from home, the stability is great. In addition, they support the local communities in sponsorships for youth leagues.
Wow Internet was down today, I called Falcon Broadband and Jordan stayed on the phone with me till I got it fixed, walked me from each line to each line only to find I had a disconnected Router . The Customer Service at Falcon Broadband is unbelievably great. I had century link and received the worst service you could possibly get, from outages to unbelievable rates . Falcon Broadband has come thru on every aspect ..but highly commend the Customer Service .
Where to begin, the service itself was decent for a while even though there was constant black outs and days where everything was just slow for no reason the speeds of their so call high speed package have been blown out of the water by every other provider Ive tested my phone with and now for 4 days running we cant even connect not through WiFi or cat5 direct we had a tech come out Sunday and while it work for about 12 hours It went right back to no service with full connections, the phone operators refuse to admit the issue was on their end until I explained that I have troubleshot everything you can do and even then he said that there must be an issue with our devices, the tech couldnt find any issue with how the house is set up, yet I sit here typing this feet away from a WiFi router that wont provide service so I have to use my LTE data. This whole experience with banning Lewis forcing falcon on people is a joke even the employees who work at the club house mock how slow their computers run. If you some how have had a good experience please explain to me how cause Im novice Ive made sure my equipment is working properly and that our router isnt malfunctioning, so Im lost either these people have been paid to write good reviews or they are fake accounts doing it.
Their minimum cost was higher then Comcasts highest tier, so I had to go with Comcast, I very much dislike Comcast, but when its 40mb per second vs 250 mb per second, that is a massive speed difference for the same cost.
Once we switched to Falcon Broadband we have had no issues great company reliable service
This internet that is forced on residents of Banning Lewis Ranch is a travesty. We are being forced to pay for unreliable internet connections that Falcon Broadband representatives are too lazy to come and fix. Instead, they opt to walk the customer through what potential changes could be made. Let me tell you, that is not my job. Their job is to provide internet service and to fix the issues residents have; they do not. They are advertising 25 mbps speeds that in actuality are 14. This contract NEEDS to be done away with so that residents can get package deals through reliable providers at a price that would be acceptable, instead of having to pay for two separate networks. One that works, and the other, from Falcon Broadband.UPDATE: They came and setup a new router for us, suggesting which was best, and while it is better than it was, there are still way too many moments of horrible connection to be satisfied. Not to mention they most likely only got on top of helping because of my earlier review, and called the person named on my account, essentially accusing me of being unhinged. Referencing the poor experiences Ive had at other locations based on the reviews I have left is unprofessional and just plain out of line.
This product is stone age. I am in a rural area where no other providers service. My only option is to go without or try a satellite internet provider. If you want slow speeds on the internet than this product is for you. If you would like to pay a monopoly an excessive amount than use this product. My monthly fee is $140 for the internet.I have used this horrible product for six years. Run, run, run away from them if you can.If anyone knows of a satisfactory internet provider for area 80132 please let me know.
I know Im probably one of the biggest pains in the ass these guys deal with when service goes wrong, so for that reason, I just wanted to say thank you. Service has been excellent ever since we upgraded to a larger data package. While Im still not convinced that the 10 MBPS connection was the entire problem (the time stamp I was given when I was told that I was using my entire data allowance indicated that the only open network activity inbound or outbound from my end was to a wikipedia page), service has lately (over the last 6 or so months) been above and beyond what could be expected of an ISP. Not only that, but even when the actual internet service was at its worst, the technicians were both courteous and kind, even when I was extremely upset. While Lucas was out here working hard to restore service to full capacity, he also took the time to answer my questions fully and thoroughly. When I was initiating the service ticket in the first place I was livid, and while one phone technician was maddeningly unhelpful, the other two were patient, and took the time to listen, instead of just hear me. So, thank you for the years of service, and I look forward to years more.

Literally just got off the phone with them. I couldnt buy their service in my area, but the customer service alone and wealth of information given demands consideration from anyone in their service area.
This company is absolutely HORRIBLE! And not worth spending a single cent of your hard earned money on! OUR INTERNET GOES DOWN AT LEAST TWICE A DAY SINCE WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS REDICULOUS!!!
I called in and spoke with a representative about signing up for their service. The rep was uninformed about what Falcon Broadband offers, put me on hold for 5 minutes, and then hung up on me. I wish I could leave this review after using their full service.
Sucks all the time Been with then ten years and it just gets worse all the time.
