The staff here at Operation TBI Freedom have been working with Jerome Ford and Crawford House for many years. This organization does a great job supporting our Veterans in the Colorado Springs area. Keep up the great work J. Ford and your staff.
Tough to cover veterans housing availability thru this pandemic
Really pushes you to get your stuff together!
An EXCELLENT facility that helps troubled veterans back on their feet. Ive witnessed several success stories emerge from this organization over the last 3 years!Keep up the good work!
This is a GREAT PLACE, this place helped me get back on my feet when I was in need. Mr Ford went out of his way to help me to succeed in life. All meals are provided with more than enough to fill up. This place is a Blessing
Thanks for all of the positive things that the staff has done for all of our veterans in the area. Keep up the great work and thanks for everything!
I became a resident of the Crawford House in December 2017 due to my substance abuse and homelessness. Throughout my time in the program I found myself empowered once again by what the program offered and through the leadership of Jerome Ford. Here it is December 2018 and I am still happily sober, and not only housed, but a homeowner! Jerome Ford was my mentor throughout this ENTIRE process. For anyone to say anything negative about Jerome and The Crawford House says a lot about that person and their willingness to accept a positive change in their life. I am forever grateful for the opportunities I found with The Crawford House, and the relationships with the staff there. LIFE CHANGING!
It was a very helpful resource in a time of need, they set a plan that helped me get back on my feet.
We need places that help our vets especially those suffering from PTSD and dealing with drug addiction. We know that dealing witg our vets sometimes is a struggle so we applaud the Crawford House
Its a shame that veterans are going out of their way to complain against the Crawford House, and the Program Director. I personally went through the program, and it was a blessing for me. There are rules and regulations that must be followed. And if veterans feel that they cant follow these rules to ensure the safety of the other residents, then of course, they will complain about the Crawford House. When you are homeless and need help getting back on your feet, this is a great place to start.
Thanks for offering the help you do for our Vets. We need more places like this. You saved my friend.
The Crawford House is a great resource for Veterans and I am proud to have dealings with them through my American Legion Post
This Desert Storm Vet was on his last breath when Crawford House took me and I credit them with paving a brighter future for me and my family who has now accepted me back into their lives. Thank you Crawford House.
Its very reassuring that there is a place for veterans to get help while finding somewhere to live and so many programs to help as well.
Dropped by to see if fellow Vet had made it there safely and to volunteer my cooking skills but was met with a power mad meglomaniac who was more concerned about me asking for my brothers wellness and being on the property. He was so off putting that I just turned around and left. He was a younger black man with glasses and very short hair and well spoken. He made me decide NOT to volunteer my services there even though I was a successful graduate of that excellent program! I hope the current residents can thrive and succeed under such a person. I hope Miss Vicky reads this and shows this young man how to temper his anger and rudness. Maybe he was having a bad day. Very unacceptable behavior from a PROFESSIONAL in his position. I would have gotten his name but I didnt want to be part of his world any longer than necessary!
I believe in them and the great work they do
Great organization minus Jerome, I didnt catch his last name. Very rude and comes across as a control freak. I came to drop off donations and left feeling very unappreciated. Next time I will make my directly to the Vets and skipping the rude house manager.
People who are profiting off our veterans can continue to deny there being a problem, but those who have met Jerome Ford know otherwise. It is unkind to keep blaming our vets who continually get bullied by the Crawford House program director and his ego. Complaints have been made and are well known with the case Managers at RMHS and the VA. Its time to take the truth seriously and for the V.A., RMHS, and the other services to start assisting Veterans and stop protecting Jerome from power tripping on those who swore to protect us. #metoo
I completely agree with Ryan, it is completely unacceptable to continue to blame the veteran victims who make reports and continued to be bullied by Jerome.
