They are not a pediatric dentistry but I came in there with my daughter who needed immediate help. Instead of turning me away they took a quick look at her teeth and realized she did need an antibiotic for an infection that was causing swelling in her mouth and her cheek. The took my daughters health into consideration over their guidelines and that means so much to me. People putting other humans first is super important to me. They were super amazing and took care of my daughter who was also traumatized from her prior dentist. Ive never been more happy with the service she was given and the time and care they provided. Shelby was absolutely amazing and even gave me her personal cell just incase something went wrong with my daughters medication! I highly recommend going here for any of your emergency dental needs!

Dr. Shelby is absolutely fantastic! She saw me almost immediately after I had called in and she stayed super late with me to fix my tooth. I had additional concerns with pain super late at night after the office was close and she still went out of her way to call me and help me resolve the situation. Dr. Shelby and the entire staff are wonderful!

Best office Ive ever been to. Every single person I came in contact with was very kind. I made a last minute appointment on a Saturday night & they got me taken care of quickly without sacrificing care & compassion. I will 100% be returning. My extraction ended up being a lot more rough than we had initially expected but they made sure I had all the info & prescriptions I need to get through the healing process. I never felt judged for the rough state of my teeth & was given constant reassurance through the whole process which was very helpful in dealing with my severe dental anxiety.

I havent been to the dentist in like 15 years. I am very terrified of them. This was an emergency situation on a Saturday morning. A quarter of my tooth was missing and I was experiencing the worse pain Ive ever felt in my life! I showed up and met the doctor immediately. I explained to them that I was very nervous and uncomfortable. They totally understood and did everything they could to keep my at ease. There was at one point I was so nervous I was dripping sweat and throwing up in their room. They closed the door gave me privacy, put a wet cold paper towel on my head and turned the fan on. When I started feeling better they sat next to me and talked to me like a friend would have. The doctor renumb me and went to work. One of the ladies even held my hand the whole time he was pulling my tooth. For what a nightmare that was for me it was the best experience I could have asked for. We were so pleased we even brought them banana bread and pizza the next day! We will definitely be back next time I need to go.Thank you guys so much!!!!

GREAT PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH ANXIETY!Ive been scared of the dentist for years. The only time previous to this visit, I made it through the consult and then panicked and never came back. The dentist I went to prior made me feel uncomfortable and judged because of the status of my teeth.This visit was much different. I called in on a Thursday afternoon l, I had been in probably the worst pain in my life for the past week. I asked them if they were able to work with people with dental anxiety and fear and the receptionist reassured me. I was in for my appointment the next morning.The first assistant did my x-rays and kept talking to me all the way through it, and trying to make me feel as comfortable as possible.Dr. Dryer came in and did my final assessment after the days and explained to me the infection that was causing the pain, and informed me that I needed 3 teeth pulled, one being a wisdom tooth that had broke off, and two bone grafts.During the procedure he had to numb me up quiet a bit (my body hates numbing meds I guess) but he insured the entire time I was feeling ok. The whole thing went by quick and easy, the entire staff was so nice and seemed very sincere to my needs.I left my follow up with Dr. Dryer today after a great conversation and a solid high five. I really cant thank him and the staff enough for being so kind and helping me ease my fears. 5/5 would definitely recommend

Doctor Shelby is super sweet and does amazing work. Highly recommend this dental care place over anywhere else

Called as soon as they opened this morning and was told Id have an appointment for either 11:15 or 12:15, first choose 11:15, but called back 5 minutes later to change it to 12:15. Arrived & called informing I was here and was told they would be told of my arrival. 20 minutes went by and I called again and was told to come in immediately, as if they forgot about me. Then when I get into the office, I was informed there is no appointment available for me. So now 12:45 and was told its going to be atleast another 30 to and hour before Im since because there are 3 people in front of me.

I had excruciating pain in my gums do to my wisdom teeth and I had called two places to get an appointment but all they could offer me was one two weeks later, but emergency dental was able to get me in right away the same day and was able to get me in less than a hour later after I contacted them. They are very welcoming, warming an very professional 10/10 recommend them to anyone that has anyone that needs emergency removal or treatment on their teeth.

I am terrified of dentists and waited until I couldn’t handle the pain anymore. I found this place and they got me right in. When I got there the front lady was very helpful and gave me great information about my insurance policy. The dental assistant Tera became my instant best friend! She made me feel comfortable and encouraged my decision to come and to stay! Dr. Boyd was unbelievably nice and reassuring. I had seen another dentist who made me feel bad for having a cavity. Dr. Boyd and Tera had my back the whole time making sure I knew not to beat myself up for having a cavity. Dr. Boyd gave me invaluable information regarding my dental plan and even referred me to a specialist. I would absolutely follow these people to any practice they went to. Finding good people is hard these days and I feel very blessed that I stumbled into Emergency Dental.

We are here on vacation and of course your teeth don’t have the same schedule you do. After 72 hours of pain I was blessed to find this emergency dental office. The staff was amazing as was the dentist. They made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. I spent years finding a dentist I could trust and like at home so having to hope for the best today had me quite nervous.I had to have a tooth pulled and they did a awesome painless job. If I ever have to see a dentist while on vacation here again this is where I will go. Highly recommend them. It’s hard to find a good dentist and to feel comfortable in their chair. Thankfully I found one today and I couldn’t be happier. Now we can return to our vacation having fun.Thank you all for a reasonably priced, painless experience today.

Like most, im terrified of dentists and have been for years. As a whole, I treat it as a ill go when its an emergency situation. This place really changed my views however.First off, I came in midday on the weekend in severe pain. I was barely able to think straight and feared the worst. The 2 nurses worked well to limit my pain level as they looked at my teeth. The whole time, we were joking, singing to the music, and doing everything they could to ease my nerves. And I truly appreciate that.The doctor comes in, and it just gets even better. Hes got the best bedside manner of any doctor Ive ever met. We start chatting like old friends as he walks me through what needs to be done.An emergency root canal. As if the concept, on its own, isnt terrifying, I also have had bad experiences with dentists because of allergies to certain medications. So every part of doctors from start to end is usually bad. He takes his time to numb me properly, then injects me with more numbing agents. I cant even feel a thing when he finally starts going.Every step of the way, hes checking my pain levels via hand signals. Everytime the pain gets back he dials it back a little, and numbs me up again as needed. I have NEVER met such an attentive dentist who actually cared about my comfort. Sure, there was still a little pain, but almost none compared to what their could have been. Now and again he stops and while prepping something, we chat more and more. Usually I keep my personal life quiet, but I felt safe to open up while here.This place is safe to members of the LGBT and poly community, a rare find. Every member of the staff was amazing and efficient. Yes, it took way longer than expected, but given the level of patience and care it was well worth it. Not just the best dentist I ever met but potentially the best time Ive ever had at a doctors.

Nikita, Vera and Will were awesome. Great bedside manner. For those complaining about cost, this is an EMERGENCY dental office. I found the prices to be quite reasonable with insurance. If you’re mad about spending exorbitant amounts on dental care, I suggest you aggressively lobby your elected representatives to include dental care under medical insurance. 10/10 would recommend.

SO disappointed. My daughter has an infected root canal. Needs urgent dental care and local dentists are two days out. After doing an internet search I found and read Emergency Dental of Colorados web page, claiming 24-7 availability. I called to schedule an appointment for her early Tuesday morning and was told they are CLOSED until Thursday, despite what they advertise on their web site. A two-day wait is not emergency care. Very disappointing.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this office. I was driving back to Salt Lake City from Dallas (which is a 2 day trek, 10 hours driving each day) and developed the worst toothache of my life along the way. Absolutely unrelenting and blinding pain that was only assuaged by sipping cold water every 20-60 seconds. Because of that I hadnt been able to sleep literally at all, and all of the dentist in the area were either closed or booked for the holidays. Luckily I came across this office that was able to get me in first thing the following morning. The staff was very caring, from the office admin, to the dental assistant, to the amazing dentist. When completing the x-rays and initial exam they took care to let me sip my water and worked quickly to keep me out of as much pain as possible. Dr. Boyd explained what was going on and gave me my options. We talked through the pros and cons of each to help me make the best decision. We landed on tooth extraction. I am a pretty tough guy, but Im not gonna lie, I was a little scared of this procedure. When I tell you it was painless, it was completely painless. Dr. Boyd was incredibly gentle and reassuring the whole way through. What a relief it was to be rid of that pain! I have never left a review before. I was overwhelmingly pleased by my experience so I felt the need to do so. Up from Texas for a vacation and had a bad bad tooth issue. The dental team was super kind and got me taken care of quick. I was ably to enjoy the rest of my vacation. I highly recommend.

I’m from out of state and a crown popped off after only having it for two years ! I called on a Saturday and they got me in immediately. Every staff member I came into contact with was very pleasant. I get very anxious at dentists, but Tara ( I believe ) made me feel so much better with the whole thing. I was only barely sensitive one time because of how gentle she was. I didn’t even need or want the numbing! She fit the crown correctly, and made sure I had no pressure spots from my bite on the crown. I Would recommend, this is the kind of service I would expect from my dentist I would see regularly back home!

I went there this morning with a last second appointment after other places turned me down because of my money situation, with an infected tooth I needed removed, everybody was extremely professional and nice, they did very good work I honestly dont think a dentist office could get any better, I was very comfortable with everyone and Dr. Boyd and Tera did a great job and the lady up front was very friendly as well Im just bad with names but I highly recommend this place if you need work done

Found because an emergency, stayed for the wonderful people! Dr. Boyd and all of his assistants are rockstars. I first came about 2 years ago for bad jaw pain, and once they invited me to make an appointment for routine dental care, Ive gone back to them as my regular dentist ever since. They are all very caring and genuinely compassionate people, and the least greedy practice youll ever find.

These guys are awesome! Had major tooth pain in my wisdom teeth. Called them this morning at around 9:00 and teeth were extracted by 1:30. They were very communicative and addressed all concerns I had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Boyd, Nakita, and Tera have just given me the most stress free and relaxing dental visit of my life. They were kind, caring, and understanding and were not judgemental at all about my rather poor dental hygiene. They discussed all of my options, and were very gentle during the root canal. They got me in within 1 hour of my initial call, and I highly recommend seeing them for any dental concerns you may be experiencing.

I had to go in and get an extraction I was helped by Nakeeta DeDe and Dr.huettner they were very nice and professional they all introduced themselves to me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible as they were prying that tooth out I havent been to a dentist in almost 15 years but Id definitely come back to get the rest of my teeth fixed

I went here with a problem in my permanent retainer. My orthodontist was closed, and the wire from the retainer was extremely sharp. When I called to tell them what had happened they scheduled an appointment for me immediately. They were able to get me in and out in just an hour. While they couldn’t replace my retainer, they shaved it down so it would not be painful for me. The staff was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend.

So glad I chose to go here. I needed some work in a hurry and I really don’t like going to the dentist. Starting with reception all aspects were explained to me. They coordinated quickly with our dental insurance. When I was escorted back Tera was so friendly and understanding. She even held my hand to give me much needed comfort. Dr Boyd is so friendly and he definitely helped me through something I don’t care to do. I’ve been back to get my teeth cleaned and scheduled out some work I need done. So glad I went and even glad I went back!

I had a dental emergency to where I was in need of a root canal. It was Thanksgiving weekend and all the emergency dental offices were closed for the holiday weekend except for Emergency Dental of Colorado I called at 8:00 am (before they opened) and they literally fit me in the same day at 9:00 am and relieved me of my pain! They were all friendly and professional! They explained everything thoroughly. I had to go home and take steroids and amoxicillin for a week because I was infected then come back and finish the root canal. Each time I was worked on it was gentle and thorough. I didnt feel a thing! I was comfortable from beginning to end! I only wish these guys were within my insurance network because if they were, they would be my permanent dentists! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a dentist whether its an emergency or not. These guys will have your back if you are ever in need of dental work! I live near the Widefield area and these guys are located near Woodmen! Totally worth the drive!

I can’t wait to come back for my veneers;)I just came back for my permanent placement of veneers, I am so satisfied with this dentist- but not only him the whole team is awesome, personable and friendly. I came to Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs with a few crowns that had become infected. I didn’t want to go to my previous dentist as he caused some of the problems I was having. I decided to give Emergency dental a try and I am so glad I did! I first met Nakeeta at the front desk and she was so calm and helpful and very understanding of my pain and stress. Once I was checked in I met Tera who was so sweet and calm and did everything in her power to help me. Dr. Boyd relieved my pain first and then we got down to treatment. I, like many others, are afraid of the dentist, but I was able to completely relax and trust Dr. Boyd and Tera with my care. They are a great team and are very calm which helped me to stay calm and relaxed. I will continue to be seen by Dr. Boyd as my regular dentist, not just for emergencies. I initially went to a nearby competing emergency dental business, but got turned away by them (they said I needed to call and make an appointment, which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of being an EMERGENCY dental business). Thankfully, I found Emergency Dental. They got me in immediately...no waiting, no appointments. And my experience was made even better by the fact that everyone there was so friendly and welcoming (the other emergency dental business had made me feel like an inconvenience for even walking in). I love this dentist office! Last year, one of my fillings came out when I was on my way home from running errands. I panicked because it happened on a Sunday afternoon when nothing was open. The pain kept getting worse so I had my hubby do a Google search and Emergency Dental popped up. He was able make a same day appointment for me and they got me in right away. I had such a good experience and loved the staff so much that I became a regular patient of theirs. Nakeeta, Tera and Dr. Boyd are so friendly and personable. Going in for regular visits is like getting to have coffee with friends. I enjoy our conversations, whether before or after the procedure, and they always help me feel comfortable when Im sitting in the chair. Not many people like to go to the dentist, but I enjoy going because of the amazing staff:)

My mom was here 2 times this past month for a broken tooth. Isaac made her a temporary crown and then placed the permanent one. He did an amazing job and my mom was very pleased. He was professional, very kind and made her feel at ease through the whole process.

They helped me so much. I wasnt able to get to my dentist till after the weekend and i wasnt able to wait that long. I am very thankful that they were able to help me and take away the pain i was in. AMAZING experience. Dr Boyd is absolutely amazing. His assistant was extremely friendly, professional, and caring. The Doctor came in and joked around and had a real conversation with me for over an hour! Made sure I was aware of what we could do, and did not push expensive choices! He is the best!Please go here if you want to have no more pain and a caring team!Prices were very comparable to Emergency Dental USA. However just to be seen over there is 150-220! Here it is 75 AND they do a full exam! Very worth it and I am extremely happy. My extraction took 4 minutes and I am already feeling great.

I’ve never experienced a dental emergency before so it was a little scary not knowing what would happen being in a new environment. When I got there I was treated with care by the receptionist and I was quickly taken back to see what was going on. Forgive me for forgetting names, but I met two awesome women who truly care about their patients and have a passion for what they do. I could see it. They cared about me as an individual and took the time to get to know me. Dr. Boyd was also amazing. He keeps it real and really helped me out during a scary and painful situation. It’s difficult to find genuine care these days, but at this dental office they care so much more about you than a dollar. Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs mission is clear to me and I’ll forever be grateful for them.

Needed root canal on Xmas eve day!!! Follow up with 3 more visits. Made sure infection and tooth was ready for root canal kip procedure. In addition staff order medications with my pharmacy. Honestly doesn’t get better than this with an emergency! High recommend.

Dr Boyd and his staff (Tera) are so amazing. I had to go in for an emergency root canal 🦷 on a Saturday and they made me feel so much better and comfortable right away. I could t complete it that day and came back without the worries I usually have about dentists. My husband is also very weary and anxious to go to the dentist, and just from the little bit of time with them, he decided to switch to them as well. We both had our cleanings done and feel great. Not only did they do my emergency, but became our full time dentists. It couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone that works there make you feel so welcome and treat you right. Don’t even try somewhere else, this is the place to go. Makes me excited for my next visit, and I never would have said that in my life. Keep up the amazing work, and I’m going to continue to recommend you to everyone!!

This place took all day and I still was not seen. The chairs were filthy and I wouldnt refer it as a place of proper emergency care. I wont be bringing my daughter here.

Awesome and friendly staff. I was in a lot of pain for a while and they were so great in finding the source quickly and resolving it. I am pain free right now and eating regular food on the same day - after a looooong time of avoiding the problem and trying to work around it. Dr. Boyd has done a few procedures on my teeth in the past at a different location and hes always really gentle and takes care to do a great job. They pay close attention to their work and I had a great experience!

Dr. Boyd was very professional and seems to really take pride in his work. The procedure was very smooth and easy throughout! Would highly recommend him in the future and will for sure be giving him a follow up for future dental needs! Also, very quick at seeing me and fixing the problem! It’s been a few days and I’m almost completely healed up from a couple wisdom extractions. All in all, great office and an excellent Dr.

My visit was wonderfully positive. I had an extremely painful dental situation and they were able to get me a prompt, same day appointment. The facility is clean, staff is conscious of COVID-19 prevention protocols, and everyone is friendly. This office is our of my insurance network, but even so, pricing is very fair.If the staff read these reviews, I just want to say, this was the hands-down best dental experience of my life. Dr. Boyd, thank you so much for your clearly genuine kindness and caring. Your expertise in your field is fantastic and I appreciate the high level of care I received. Tera, you were wonderful to chat with, thanks for letting me talk your ear off and being gentle with the x-rays. NaKeeta, thank you for being reassuring and so welcoming when I came in. I was amazed at the gentle, high quality dental work done. I hate going to the dentist more than anything! I developed a situation that made it mandatory to see a dentist. I had a horrible tooth ache on the weekend. Dr Boyd and his right hand man were incredible. This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had.I am 66 years old and have visited dentists all over the U.S. Each visit made me hate going to the dentist more. That is until now. I highly recommend Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs. They are so kind, professional and knowledgeable. These two guys are the dynamic duo of dentistry. I am so thankful I found them.

Everyone here did an amazing job taking care of my husband who was in severe pain! We drove in from Kansas because every dentist was either closed for the Holidays or booked out for months. We were able to get an appointment right away and they took care of the issue in one appointment. Nurses and Doctor put us at ease, highly recommend!!

I found this office through Google & the reviews convinced me to give this place a try. Let me say, this team is amazing! They are so sweet and helpful from your check-in to check-out. NaKeeta was helpful in figuring out my payment plans, Tera comforted me through my entire visit, and Dr. Boyd took the time to explain each procedure and what options would work best for me in my treatment plan. Im old and scared of dentists, BUT I had to go, because the pain was so bad. nobody will believe this, but I have to let people with toothpain know how great it was to have been at Emergency Dental of Colorado I will never be afraid again, they were all so helpful and nice, that even I made them laugh once in a while, will never be afraid going to this Dentistry again

I had a terrible experience with this practice. This office is not actually an in network provider for United Concordia aka Tricare. They will tell you that they take your insurance when in reality they are not contracted and will charge you whatever the insurance doesnt pay which will be 100s to 1,000s of dollars. Then the billing department will be incredibly rude and defensive when you contact them. I spoke to Shelby, it was an awful experience not even an apology for misinformation presented to me. I gave one star because Dr. Boyde and his assistant are very kind and do great work, its just not worth the price tag and headache.

I came in with a tooth infection and they took care of me right away. They have great service and the staff is very friendly and makes me feel comfortable when I’m having my tooth looked at

I had root canal done on New Years day. Dr. Boyd and his staff were excellent. Im thankful they were open on a holiday. I am no longer in pain. Thank you!

A truly professional and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Boyd is very skilled, patient, and takes time to explain everything. His technician is also wonderful, and receptionist very helpful. I was so grateful to be seen so quickly on an emergency basis, even on a Saturday. I am so very thankful to everyone there for being so kind and hard-working.

They were very good. Everyone was very friendly, and helped explained everything so I could understand. They worked with me and my budget and told me what was necessary at the time instead of trying to make the most money out of me. Would definitely come back.

I came in with no appointment or insurance on a Sunday. They were very nice and made sure to help me regardless of what it took. By far the best dental experiences Ive had have been at this place. Each time Ive been in theyve been sure to make sure Im comfortable and that I understand everything thats going on. My tooth extractions were quick and painless, as well. Everybody here is so nice, caring and knowledgeable. Im really glad that I found this place!

Wonderful experience here. I came in with a broken tooth after not being to a dentist in 10 years and they made me totally relaxed and I felt right at home. I love that we had friendly conversations that showed they really cared as well as they knew what they were doing. Very professional, very comforting, and overall just very pleasant people.

My experience has been positive ...This IS an emergency clinic and prices will be higher than at your dentist and they might or might not take your insurance. However ... when you are in pain on a weekend or holiday or your regular dentist cant see you they are a God send! I found the entire practice staff very friendly and professional. The dentist is calm, gentle and very nice and took a lot of time discussing options and diagnosis. I had a filling replaced and was grateful not to have to wait a minute longer with my pain. The office wasnt super busy on a Sunday morning.

Dr. Boyd, Tera, and the rest of the staff are wonderful! They take time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. My daughter had to have an emergency root canal, and they were able to do it immediately after the diagnosis. She was so relaxed talking to Tera before the procedure. Before Dr Boyd began the procedure, he explained thoroughly what he would be doing and answered so many questions. It seemed strange that a 17 year old needed a root canal and I was skeptical of doing it on the spot. After discussing it, my anxieties went away and the procedure was seamless. They worked with my insurance, and the whole experience was easy and professional.I highly recommend Dr Boyd and his staff! I would give more stars if I could!

This Dental office is the nicest & most caring I have ever been to. I have extremely bad anxiety & I didn’t one bit with them. The staff is so sweet & the dentist is very soft spoken and caring. I came in today to get a tooth removed. It was a very good experience! Everyone was polite, friendly, professional and each person did their jobs very well. My team today was Dr. Boyd, Tera, and Makeeta. They did great and this is a wonderful place to get your dentistry done at. The one down side was a somewhat long wait but everything else was excellent.
