As a father in the midst of battling for my rights to my child I would not advise anyone to bring Greg on. He charged me for everything while he did absolutely nothing to assist me in winning my case. Ultimately he told me it was my job to build my own case, not his. All while continuing to take money out of my retainer. If you are a father going up against this bias family court system, I would not advise you to spend money with this firm. Keep searching.

When initially searching for someone to represent me in my family court case I had several consultations with other family law attorneys in the Colorado Springs area. As someone who was completely overwhelmed by the complexity of the legal process and my own unusual circumstances, I knew I needed strong and intelligent representatives so that I could give my child the best outcome possible.What stood out to me about Erica right away was her upfront demeanor and honesty about the difficulties of my case. On top of new concerns, a lot of my safety concerns were the same that I had raised during my initial divorce 11 years ago and my previous attorney brushed them off and told me that well handle that if it becomes a real problem. Erica Vasconcellos was my divorce lawyer 14 years ago after my ex-husband had an affair with his best friends wife. She didnt stand up for me in court. When I questioned what was going on, she said “Maybe you should get another lawyer”. I was in a bad place and I couldnt afford another retainer, so I was stuck. To make a long story short, My ex-husbands lawyer controlled the proceedings. I didnt even get what was fair by law. I will never forget what Erica said to me, “Youre a pretty lady, youll probably get remarried”. LOL, Like my worries would be over getting remarried. I hope she is standing up for her current clients.

Worst law office I have ever used. Required a $3000 retainer and 3 months and $1400 later, nothing had been done. They lost transcripts provided to them and continued to ask the same questions and still never produced the correct documents to be served. We cancelled the suit with him and they charged us for that too. So we were continuously charged for their incompetence. It was a total waste of $1400. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.

Law office of Greg Quimby fit my criteria due to the fact that they specialized in fathers rights. The retaining fees appeared to be about average but all based on what little I knew about the process. Costs were much greater than expected. I had exceeded my retainer fee even before mediation and court appearance. Be aware of all expense; emails to and from attorney, producing and managing paper work, phone calls, and everything in between. My personal notion towards law offices has always been skeptical and still remains so. Like anything in life there are no guarantees. As with any agency do your research diligently.-Alexander G.

When I hired Mr. Quimby my case was already in progress with all of the paperwork already complete. My retainer fee was quickly being depleted by his staff on mailing and correspondences while we waited for court dates. No actual work had been done and I was soon looking at having to add more money to my account. When I brought up my concerns Mr. Quimby withdrew from my case and then continued to charge me for the withdraw process. At this time no work was done on my case and I was left without an attorney all while paying costs associated for his decision to abandon me in the middle of my case. When I asked not to be charged for costs attributed to his decision he remarked Perhaps if you concentrated more on your kids than trying to get a $100 your life would be in better shape.I have never met such an unethical person and have never dealt with such an unprofessional business in my life.

Greg and his office staff have always been there for me in my most difficult times. Greg fought for me through all of the ups and downs of my divorce. Renee and the other ladies were always so kind and polite! They made what could have been very difficult, a much more bearable ordeal.

Cody is knowledge and did what two other attorneys couldnt do and didnt put up with any bullying by an extremely dishonest courtroom philabustering opposing counsel. I only wish I would have come here first and not last. Highly recommend this firm for your divorce needs.
