I want to give a review that’s a little bit more fair. Yes they are more expensive than other places but they’re one of the few places that never turned you away. I got stuck with my Canadian currency and none of the banks, not even my own would exchange it back to American dollars for me. This place did it, no they wouldn’t take the coins and yes, they were more expensive. But if they hadn’t helped us we would be stuck with thousands of Canadian dollars. So in a bind I take my losses and count my blessings. And currently we’re about to go on another trip to Turkey and I’ve had to have all my friends exchange money for me at Wells Fargo. And they only let people do $1000 each per month. It’s very inconvenient even though it’s cheaper. So I would say if you’re in a bind and you want this type of service this place is just fine. Everyone in the world is greedy, everyone in the world is out to make a buck. But at least these people are nice to you and respectful.

I went into this location to exchange $75 british pounds and $55 euro. After explaining the $7.99 fee it cost to use their services, he told me that i could get $126 dollars back. I should have recieved $153, according to todays ecchange rates. Instead i would have had to pay him $30 to take my euros and pounds. Scam for sure. Dont go here!!!

I am unsure we give them 1 star because there is no way to give less, or if its because we can get foreign currency here and thats what they claim they can get you. They said something over the phone (Brian, apparently) as far as fees charged to exchange your money, and when we finally get there they charge you an extra 15% in hidden fees. The person behind the counters response: oh, Brian didnt tell you? That sucks!Customer service on its prime.

Service was fine but exchange rate was The lowest I saw on my entire trip to Iceland, Including at the airports. I did far better when I just used my credit card and accepted their rate of exchange.

Not good! Located in downtown Colorado Springs in the US Bank on the corner, horrible parking, SLOW service, and they make up their own exchange rate, not the legitimate rate! I got about $116 US LESS back than I was supposed to get! I wish I would have read the other reviews before using this place! First, the young man who was working was SO SLOW! He just typed slow, moved slow, and counted the money soooo slow, like he was just learning to count! He was a young, nice man, maybe in his 20s, but he was SO SLOW. A person in his 20s who works for a money exchange should be no stranger to counting money! I waited 15 - 20 min while he helped the customer before me who had a simple transaction, and I was watching him with that customer, and he was just soooo slow. I was there on my HOUR lunch break, and it took me 25 min in there (waiting behind just ONE other customer) just for me to simply exchange $1,280 New Zealand dollars to US dollars. That brings me to my second complaint! I only received back $813 US dollars from the $1280 New Zealand dollars I turned in! The legitimate rate for that day was supposed to be $1 NZ dollar = $0.73 US. I got ripped off...instead this place bought my NZ dollars for 1.57339 US dollar. ***The exchange rate is determined at THEIR SOLE DISCRETION!*** Be warned! Third complaint is about their HORRIBLE location downtown inside the US Bank, no parking, paid to park on my lunch hour (partly my fault), and the slowest service ever! Maybe it was just my sales guy who was slow (didnt catch his name), but his sales consultant ID was 9208. Do NOT go in there if you are in a hurry because that guy, and the parking issue, will ruin that for you!

We recently sent our daughter to Argentina to study abroad. I didnt want her to show up without any cash so took out $300. They exchanged money at 14.7 AP to the USD when the going rate was closer to 17 AP to the USD and then charged a $10 service fee on top of it! A complete rip off. Youre much better off just using an ATM at your destination which still charges a fee but gives you the current exch rate. Never again!!

I wouldnt bother going anywhere near this place, they buy your money off you and NOT at the exchange rate $50 should be €61 but they buy at face value (which is illegal) and then take a commission so you walk out with $40.. Thats a $21 rip off... Would never use them again... Disgusting how they can blatantly Rob you!!!!
