The work is fun and easy but the supervisor Jason Bregard doesn’t look out for anyone. Constantly trying to take your job for any little thing. You could be on a 15 min break trying to get back into the computer and the break ends up being 17 min, he’s already like why are you taking so long, doesn’t even bother to ask if you need help. Jason ruined the job for me.
I worked there for one year and absolutely loved the staff and leadership. I understand in any job you will have your ups and downs and defiantly this place had them, but, all in all it was a great place to work. I hired in during the pandemic so working from home was a must. PC connection Issues would arise and if the staff was unable to help they would instruct me to call a knowledgeable Tech Dept. Because they are an outsource company their policies and processes are strict but if you follow the guidelines the job becomes fairly easy. Good place to work and start a family.
Wonderful & Professional work with fun training and awesome benefits along with 401 K plan too - Best job ever!
Terrible place and terrible people all around. I would HIGHLY avoid working here. There are much better companies out there that treat their employees with respect.
Every place you will ever work will not please everyone. Be an adult, go to work, work hard, dont sweat the small stuff. You make it whats it is. You are in charge of your own destiny. So far they are true to their word. Until further notice I give a 5/5 stars. Even if it doesnt work out, it is not my goal to bash my employer. If you can be positive and not drama then First Source would be a great place for you to work. I absolutely enjoy working there.
Ive been here for 4 months and honestly it is the best job I have had. Trainers and supervisor are very understanding
ABSOLUTELY THE SINGLE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR IN MY 17 YEARS OF WORK HISTORY. THESE PEOPLE REFUSE TO OFFER TECH SUPPORT WHEN IN DIRE NEED FOR THOSE WHO WORK AT HOME DUE TO COVID-19. WHEN I SAY NOTHING, I MEAN NOTHING! ISABELLA NORWOOD AND HER MANAGEMENT TEAM FAILED ME TIME AND TIME AGAIN. I QUIT! YOUR COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED! WHAT IS BETTER IS I HAVE PROOF OF IT ALL IN OUR WORK CHAT AND SAVED EVERYTHING. GET READY FOR DEALING WITH CDLE.
I would strongly advise against taking a work-from-home, or any position from this company. The managerial maturity level is that of a highschooler. Never download anything they send because the IT department will attempt to hack your email, phone, whatever. They gaslight honest workers because the have access to certain databases depending on what contract you have. The team chats are toxic, they talk terribly about clients which is sickening. This company has attempted to hack my email and gaslights me daily. A very sick environment. Id advised strongly against this employer!
Don’t tip delivery drivers in a snow storm, don’t deserve anyone’s business
GREAT PLACE TO WORK. THIS IS A 2ND CHANCE COMPANY THAT ENSURES THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE HEARD. ALWAYS ROOM INDIVIDUAL GROWTH AND ADVANCEMENT. STEADY EMPLOYMENT NEVER JOB SCARED.
The worst company I have ever worked for. They hired about a 40 person training class and then started firing people 1 by 1. A week later there was about 10 people. Today 0.
Dont leave a job with job security for this place, not a long term position. High turnover since they hire almost anyone on the spot and theyll fire you just as fast. They decide during training if they want to keep you or not. Short training periods where they expect little to no errors right off the bat. Staff is nice but doesnt make up for poor company policies and culture.
All the bad reviews had me scared; Ive trained here for 3 weeks. I love the staff, pay is decent, pleasant environment. However, I struggled with learning. Ive always done great at whatever I do.... except this😔
They are not the best place to work for, the training is lack
Do not work for this company! For starters the upper management does not know how to properly conduct business. They are unprofessional and extremely rude. I know of at least 3 instances in which supervisors were involved romantically with regular agents, which is fine until something goes wrong and then they use the relationship and supervisor position as ammunition to terminate employees. The company as a whole has a high turnover rate and they wonder, why? Well maybe, it’s the extremely poor treatment and lack of empathy towards loyal employees. Either way this is not a fair establishment to work for. They definitely need to fix some internal issues before their turnover improves.
Went there for a job interview for LAN Administrator, but FirstSource would hire me, because I was over qualified for the job. Yet, I could preform the job without a problem. FirstSource only wanted to pay 50,000 or 55,000 per year. I was willing to accept the job knowing I was being under paid as an LAN Administrator. Yet, If I was seeking to be hired as a customer service rep to work on the phone, for 8 hours or more. Hey I would be welcome with open arms into that position of employment.
Great opportunities and works with employees.
A lousy place to work. One good thing, big comfy chairs in the break room.
Big nope. Jennifer Sevigny is head of HR and acts like a teenager. Do yourself a favor and just don’t.
An ok place to work. Wasnt for me, the training got cut a week short because the company wanted to impress the client even though a lot of people including myself werent ready for the floor just yet. After putting us on the floor they spread some people out so far that they couldnt get help if they needed it because they were mixed in with seasoned workers. In the beginning the company did things like little cookouts and ice creams when you are first hired but then it stops. Sometimes it seemed like they liked giving points. I received a point for my OB doctors appointment. They did offer you a chance to makeup points but being pregnant and always being on time and at work but getting a point for a monthly checkup that I couldnt schedule right away that would take a while to clear off wasnt for me.
I love the people! Thanks for all the hard work.
Worst place you could ever decide to work. Do yourself a favor that I promise you your future self will appreciate later and dont ever get Kaiser Permanente Healthcare and dont ever work for First Source in Colorado Springs, trust me. They lie about EVERYTHING under the sun. The people are also some of the worst human beings you could ever possibly imagine in their management, human resources department and training management especially. 0/10 All the positive reviews are fake trust me.
Inept Human Resources Dept., low-IQ trainers, a culture of harassment by supervisors. Do NOT apply here. If you are a vendor/partner of FirstSource Solutions, Inc. cancel your contract and choose another Business Process Management firm for your outsourcing needs.
A toxic environment. The Human Resources department must adhere to a better business model. Clients such as Kaiser Permanente should be ashamed to outsource to a BPM as awful as this one. This place is only good if one needs a job asap with minimal experience. A quick paycheck but lackluster management.
Great support hr and supervisors. I love to work here.
They are providing a quality service and are currently expanding congratulations
I have been an Employee here for about almost 5 months now. Some people may read reviews to determine if they plan on looking in to work there. So I want to give an accurate review for those considering applying. Everyones personality and skill sets are different. Which is why some people like working here and others do not. If you are energetic, kind, friendly and compassionate and your joy is to help other people and deliver the best customer service ever and do not mind sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day, then maybe you may find that you may like it here. If you are more of the kind of person who likes to move around and like to do different things and enjoy social media and texting, then maybe you might find issue with a job here. It all boils down to your skill sets and personality. One of the great things about Firstsource is that H.R. has a great team that seeks to help you if you have any questions or concern. Supervisors on the floor are great as well. There are rules and expectation to adhere by. If you come in, do your job, follow the rules and expectation and be professional then things arent so bad. But if you break rules and expectations and then complain about the unfairness of corrective actions, doesnt work that way. Overall Firstsource is. Great way to work. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because since Everyones personality is different there may be employees that make you feel like they dont like you and for some that could be a little bothersome. But if you are looking for work then give Firstsource a try.
This place is a JOKE! The UHC Data Entry Project? They say: youll get to make up your own schedule (anywhere from 6am to 8am) there will be overtime the project might last longer than we think NONE OF THIS IS TRUE! There have been at least THREE different groups that have gone through this. The project starts and then ends unexpectedly a few weeks later, for my group it was 5 weeks. When they told us the project was ending, they made it look like it was our fault and we already knew this was going to happen. Dont get your hopes up. Its a nice project, but it wont last, pretty soon youll be on the phones, and another group will be brought in for the same fate at the UHC Data Entry Hell Project. After being transferred to a different project (Kaiser Permanente on the phones),.0 I have never been made permanent, nobody that started with me has. No benefits and same crappy pay. Trainers on the KP project (which are also the trainers on other projects) are all HORRIBLE, especially the trainer thats been there the longest. The managers on KP are all HORRIBLE, they dont care, they are irritable. they are rude, they are unprofessional all around. To top it off, it turns out that even if you do promote, many times you will not get a raise or be made permanent, you just get a small bonus (not sure how that works), so still no benefits. Dont waste your time here if you need a job that offers healthcare and incentives.
I love my job, and the awesome people I work with!
Its a very clean quiet and professional location.
Went here for an interview. Very nice building.
I used to work for the company many years ago,and had the same experience after working there 5 years my mother in law had terminal cancer, had to take emergency vacation and when I came back after 10 days, got fired for a pretend reason.....The person above leaving comments was right, since company was outsourced to India in 2009,it is the worst place to work in Colorado! Do not even apply there!
Great company to work for lots of support.
People seem to like working there.
This company is terrible to its employees, do not work here. If you have an emergency/go to the hospital/ get sick/ have to take a day to take care of your child since your babysitter quit, they dont care. I have seen really great workers come and instantly get fired for life issues. They dont care about how your life is and only care for you taking up a seat in their building and working under ridiculous conditions. They also give misinformed information and then use that against you as a reason to fire you. Its a terrible place for anyone and to be honest I was hoping for a different kind of call center. Not one that treats its employees like robots in a factory ready to be dismantled and shipped away just because of life. This review is from the point of view of both an ex-employee and someone working outside of the company....
Good company and supportive towards employee
