He is not just a Bail Bondsman he has heart and he care alot about the person hes helping out. He extended my bonds just before I got sentenced and I even told him I thought I was going to prison for 4 yrs and he still did it. This is the REAL Mike Mueller and those of you who know me will see that the old review was bogus. Ive known Dave for years and have only had a great relationship with him. Please beware of bad reviews that might be fake!! Dont hesitate to use his services if you need them. He has helped many of our friends in a fast and professional manner.

Wanted too much money in comparison to other places

I asked him a question and as soon as it was answered he hung up on me. Not a nice person to say the least.

I have used Dave Wood several times over the last 20 years got my self a free times and many more with friends and family. He was always prompt, polite, and professional. He wasted no time posting the bonds and as long as you don’t waste his all will go well. I have recommended many times over and will continue to.

My experience is very similar to Try again s. I spoke to him the night before. Super nice, helpful, very kind. He doesnt work nights and told me hed help me and call him in the am. I called at 730a, still very kind. He had one other job, then hed help us. I called at 1130a he then says he doesnt think Ill need him because my loved one was most likely getting out on a PR bond. I didnt understand what that meant so i called the jail. Theres no way of knowing. I called him back and still wanted to bond my guy out because theres no assurance hell get that.He was pushed off and told me since i called the jail myself i can handle it myself and hung up on me. I called back he declined my call and i left a voice mail. I tried again an hour later. He never returned my call. I rearranged my work schedule to be free to meet him. I live an hour away from the jail. My guy DID NOT get a PR bond and I struggled to find another bail bondsman because of the distance. I wasted over 12hrs expecting his help just to be done dirty by a professionalI found another one and he IS AMAZING. (Paynes Bail Bonds and Recovery) Shawn Payne was helpful and GENUINELY kind. I hope to never need him again, but if we do, Im calling him first!

Dave is a good person. These negative reviews are either people who couldnt have it their way or false reporters. Dave was straight forward & easy to talk to. when I first started looking for a Bondsman, I didnt have a cosigner and was yet to have the cash. Many other BB were rude, didnt call back or unwilling to wait til we had all that we needed. When we did have cash we had just a little over half and he was willing to take the rest in payments. I recommend Dave Woods for your Bondsman needs as he is professional, competent and down to earth. 5 stars!

Works with you like youre a human being seems like hes the one man show so you dont have to deal with all these other people when you were getting somebody out you deal directly with him and you work upon his schedule and hes willing to work with you !! The other reviews do not reflect my experience with Dave Wood. He has been a family friend for over 10 years. He is a wonderful bondsman. When my husband was wrongfully accused of a crime, I immediately got a hold of Dave. He was right there & bonded my husband out right away. He worked with us in a professional & caring manner & was congratulated us when my husband was acquitted. These other 2 reviewers dont seem to understand that a bondsman isnt there to hold their hand. And in bail bonds, the customer isnt always right. Its the criminal justice system, not retail. Like everyone else, they have the right to refuse service to anyone. A bondsman needs to ensure his client isnt going to jump bail. And yes, co-signers & collateral are often required, so make sure theyre good. I have recommended Dave Wood to anyone in need of bonding.

Save yourself the aggravation & trouble! This man is impossible! He was super nice at first, then later, to my dissapointment, hed end up playing games & literally LYING! I was told hed bond my family member out of Teller county, so after gathering up all the necessary requirements, he then changed his mind at the last minute!! Said he was, closed for the weekend anyway, but when calling his office Saturday, the nice lady that answered informed me they would be open until about midnight, & would open again the next morning! TOTALLY unprofessional & a seriously RUDE move! Call anyone else but this person. (If you want a RELIABLE, FRIENDLY, & solid bondsmen, call PAYNE*, they ended up being the only company that would bond out of Teller county! WAY better service, professional & friendly too!)

I have known Dave for many years and have used his services a multiple number of times. He has always made himself available to me and my family and friends whether weekends or evenings and even just to ask a question or get advice. Hes a great person to know in this hard to navigate system.

David and his wife were very helpful to me. They explained the process to me and answered all of my questions. My phone calls were answered promptly. I hope that I never need this type of service again, however, if I do, I would use these folks again. Thanks.Here is an update: The individual that I bonded out was not adhering to the terms of his bail. I am confused by the negative reviews. Mr. Wood was the most accommodating professionals! He was prompt, driving a distance from his home on a weekend to do this bond. His conditions are fair and reasonable. I would do business with him again if it became necessary.

Mr. Dave Wood was my first bondsman when I moved to Colorado Springs. It has been 10 years and I needed him for a friend to be bonded and he still remembered me and helped my friend, I will refer him to anyone and will always recomend you try him first. He was prompt, polite, friendly, funny and tough he will not have problem in finding you.

First off he promised to do a bond then flaked...without any notification. 2nd, he called other bondsman to trash talk the defendant...hes rude and should not be in the industry. Absolutely disgusting person ! Contacted him to pay off a bond for my husband who missed court and he responded withhe can rot in hell for all I care and id much rather see him in prison . He is the most racist down right disrespectful person I have ever came across in my life. I feel sorry for anybody who has to deal with him or even comes in contact with him I will be contacting the department of insurance and those over licensing bail bondsman in Colorado.

I too tried to do business with Dave Woods this morning. I have NEVER EVER had to bail out anyone on my own before. I called him & was asking a question on what I need to do & he was one of the most rudest people I have ever me. He had the audacity to hang up on me. Guess he didnt need my business either.
