Originally had an excellent experience with the purchase of two new cars. Since then we have had to deal with the service department and the experience has gone down hill. They are rude, didnt reset the oil change indicator and left garbage in the car. Id give one star but matt and Naomi in sales were great to deal with. We also bought a used car for our son from a different sales rep and were promised new tires and a second key. We never got the second key and the new tires took two months to schedule. Communication was horrible. Not sure what happened since February but this place went from great to awful in a hurry. If the oil changes on the new cars werent free we would go somewhere else. In fact, we take the used car we bought to another place for service because Phil Long Hyundai has been pretty awful to deal with these past 5 months.

Took my car to have windows tinted. My car was there 2 days, and was left unfinished. I had to take it home as is.I was told they would have to take it somewhere else to have it finished. I need my car for work, and couldnt give it to them another day.It should have been done completely on the first day when the appointment was made. And the second day, my car was completely ignored.Ill have to make ANOTHER appointment if I want it finished.Id rather take it somewhere else...thanks.

Virginia in the service department is rude!! I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change. When I inquired about the wait time after my appointment time she told me I could go somewhere else. Absolutely unprofessional!

This place has a huge problem with communication. They are horrible at returning phone calls and meeting the given time of pick up. While waiting for hours, I hear 5 different times when a problem happened because of not communicating. 5! That is completely unacceptable.

They have had my car for almost two months for a 3-5 day repair. First it was an insurance issue. After that was fixed they stated my car has been in paint.um thats been before March 5th they have had my car there scence February 15 2021. I have called numerous times. They stated the Manager David was got to call, no luck. They then stated they had my wrong number. Um no. They have contacted me before. Still waiting for my car and a call back..Just saying.

I dropped my car off for a repair that had been scheduled for several weeks. After dropping my car off they called 15 minutes later telling me they didn’t have the part to fix it. They told me they would keep it overnight and get it fixed the next day so I called midday the second day to see how things were going and they admitted that they still didn’t have the part. They weren’t going to tell me that I could go get my car, I had been waiting all day when they could’ve called me when they knew they didn’t have the part. I will never come back here again unprofessional!

I bought my Sonata from Chapel Hills 2 years ago and have always had it serviced at Motor City, but when the latter couldnt get me in for an oil change prior to a road trip I came up north. The only good thing I can say is that it only took an hour for the oil change/tire rotation. However, they tried to up sell me on a few items as a 30k service, to include an automatic trans flush. Well when I went into my owners manual, that is not needed, except under rough conditions, in which its at 60k not 30k. But nevertheless, its a dealership, I would expect that. However, they never filled my engine coolant (I found it below L the day before my trip). So I drove all the way back for them to take care of it...but not apology. Then on my trip, my tire pressure light came on....they should all be set at 34 PSI and one dropped to 26 in the cold. Most were only at 28-29. In my experience, checking engine coolant and tire PSI after a rotation would be part of the service. Needless to say, I wont be going back to Chapel Hills any time soon.

My car is fairly new and I was having problems with my battery. I spoke with the service department and they helped me right away with my problem. I plan on returning for any situations with my car in the future.

They were really nice at first they came and picked me up at my house brought me down to the dealership I thought everything was great then when I wasnt approved of the vehicle I wanted it they said they couldnt give me a ride home and I had to take an Uber bad business considering they told me previously no matter what happened they would make sure I had a ride home not okay on a good note the Uber driver was great.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS SO HORRIBLE THAT I DECIDED TO SELL MY HYUNDAI ON THAT VERY DAY! I originally purchased my Hyundai Sonata at a Hyundai dealership in Florida. The majority of the times that I took my car in to be serviced at the dealership in Florida, it was a smooth experience. There was a shuttle available within ten minutes or if it was going to be a lengthy day, then my service advisor would ensure that there was a loaner vehicle for me. Fast forward to moving to Colorado Springs and bringing my Sonata in to the Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hills Service Center...I inquired when I scheduled my appointment about whether or not there would be a shuttle or mode of transportation to take me to work after dropping off my vehicle for service and I was told that they request a Lyft or Uber on their dime. Perfect. I arrive for my service appointment. After going over the plan for my vehicles service, a Lyft/Uber is supposedly requested. Fifteen minutes pass and nothing. I asked the woman at the service counter when the Lyft/Uber is supposed to arrive because I need to be at work in ten minutes. She checks and the request never went through, so she finally enters the request. This time, I actually receive a confirmation text that a Lyft/Uber has been requested and confirmed. Ten minutes later, the driver cancels. I informed the woman at the desk that the driver had cancelled and that I was now going to be late for work. She said that it is unlikely that any drivers will pick me up due to snow/ice on the roads. I had to call my significant other to see if he could leave work in order to come pick me up and drop me off at my office, thankfully, he could do so. I arrived at work over 30 minutes late all because Hyundai failed to ensure transportation even after they told me that I would absolutely have a ride to my office. Fast forward to picking up my vehicle, all I was given was a free oil change to compensate for being late for work, for grossly inconveniencing my significant other, and for Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hills Service Centers failure to have any alternate plan (like providing a loaner vehicle). Then, on my way home, I turned on my windshield wipers. The wiper on the passengers side was torn! It was in perfect condition when I brought my car in to be serviced. Immediately, I contacted the service department about the torn wiper. I was told that they would give me a quote for a new windshield wiper, as if I had torn it! I informed the woman that there was absolutely no way that I was paying them for the wiper. Needless to say, this same day, I decided to sell my Hyundai because I would never set foot in that service center again. Good riddance Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hill Service Center!
