This company put a new alternator in my 2006 Saturn and only took about 3 days. For $500, I felt they were fair and congenial. Only thing, pretty hard to find.

I came in to get my water pump replaced. They fixed it, however, an hour after I got home & tried to go work, my check engine light came on & my car started making an awful noise. They now claim its a bad O2 sensor which i know isnt true. Someone messed up my engine & now they wont fix it. So now I have to take it to Chevy to get a $150 diagnosis to figure out what happened.

We are new to Colorado and when my car overheated I had it towed to Dave’s automotive it got there a half hour before they closed I was not expecting to hear from them but he called me a little after closing and told me what happened he went out of his way trying to find the part and then fixed it within 24hours I’m very grateful for everything he did!! I came to shop needing to fix the spark plug hole that was cross threaded on my 2015 Chevy Camaro SS. Dave took care of it. He had to move the header to access it and tap it. I had a p1071 code pop up the next day. I talked to Dave and he had me come in and they found out an o2 sensor and adapter were burnt probably cause the header shifted it out of place. They took care of it and tied them away from the headers, cleared the codes. My cars running how it should be now with no codes and no problems. Definitely a good mechanic shop wholl take care of your car like its their own

Great work, Honest shop! Ive gone to Daves a few times expecting the normal huge outrageous bills and a list of things that just have to be done like you get from a dealer. Every time, theyve found a lower priced option for repairs and parts when they could have easily taken me for a ride. Theyre great, and I wont go anywhere else!

This place has excellent customer service they go above and beyond what I would have ever expected for an automotive shop. I am from Michigan, my car broke down on the side of the road I had zero dollars a and was waiting for a money transfer. Dave covered the tow to his place until I got my money, his wife drove my family and pets around to find a hotel. She refused any gas money, my fuel pump had gone out the part arriver and Dave immediately pulled my van in the shop and started working, even though he was already working on another vehicle! Definitely the best service I have ever had thanks again Dave and family you are all awesome!!!

Ive had so many bad experiences with various mechanics in town that have tried to rip me off because they assume I know nothing about my car, but Dave has always been extremely transparent. He does good, quick work, and for as long as Im living in Colorado Springs, I wont go to another mechanic.

Amazing shop. We broke down on the way across country. Dave got us in on zero notice to look at my steering. We were fixed up at more than reasonable rates, in less than 2 hours and everybody was nice, helpful and friendly while doing it. Cant recommend this shop enough.

On a trip from Michigan, my car broke down in Colorado Springs. Daves saw my car in an incredibly timely fashion, and repaired it as soon as they could knowing I was not from around there. Dave showed me with a printed diagram exactly what he worked on. Got me back on the road quickly and for a very reasonable cost. So I had an issue with my breaks. And I took it to a shop that I will not name cause he was over charging me for something that was not the problem. So drove back home and googled another mechanic and found Daves Automotive. Took it to his shop and he put it up on the lift.. and he showed me the problem it was my brake line that was leaking he had my breaks line fix n 45 min. And he gave me a great price for it.. and also I went yesterday to get my back tire bearings fix and he also had me on the road with on an hour. Im m glad I found Daves Automotive cause he is my go to mechanic from now on.. I recommend this shop to everyone I know and everyone else. Thanks Dave for your honesty and good pricing..

Had a misfire come up on a company truck late in the day, called them and they got it scheduled for first thing in the morning. Turns out a coil had become unplugged. They fixed it and spent thirty minutes testing and driving it around free of charge. I cant thank them enough.
