We have used ASC several times over many years and they are always professional, responsive, reasonably priced and most important--trustworthy. We had an appointment scheduled several days out and when the situation changed they did too, coming out the same day to help us out. Their service tech was helpful, explaining how things worked and why our refrigerator was acting like its brain was scrambled. Thank you for another great service!
While the initial receptionist seemed uncordial (Was I interrupting him from something more important?), the serviceman and the service was unsurpassed! Second time to use this company. Great earned reputation for quality and price.
Weve had Appliance Service Company out to fix our oven and ice maker in March and May 2021. For both jobs, Dan and his team have been responsive, professional and reliable. They have stayed true to their estimates and worked with the manufacturer when a warranty applied. I would highly recommend them.
After repeated issues with my fairly new dryer, I called Appliance Service Co and they were able to offer a new solution. Steve was polite, responsive, and was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Dan, the service tech, found a possible solution the previous LG tech could not, and Dan was thorough in his explanation and answered my all of my questions. I would recommend this business.

I try to leave only positive reviews as I personally know the impact of negative reviews; however working with this company and Whirlpool was really frustrating! Neither company provided ANY customer service. I came home to a gas leak from my stove 1/21/20. I was told because this was a safety issue, the stove would be repaired at cost to Whirlpool and they scheduled the repair with Appliance Service Company. The soonest they could come out was 1/27/20. I was told by Whirlpool that Appliance Service Company would call me 1/24-1/25 with a two hour time window. I never got called, so I called Appliance Service Company the morning of 1/27/20 asking if and when they would be coming by. Was told that they never call customers before hand or give time windows to customers and I should expect someone between the hours of 12-6pm and maybe they will call me when they are on their way. Got a call around 2:00pm saying I was the next stop and repair man would be there within half hour. The repair man showed up at 3:30 pm. He confirmed what we already knew...there was a gas leak from the rear burners, and left an estimate for $500 to have my stove fixed. He also told us that It would likely be okay to turn on gas to cook in short bursts, but dont leave it on too long. I am not a stove repair person, but I am smart enough to know you dont cook with an open flame around a gas leak...Called Appliance Service Company asking why my stove wasnt fixed, and just an estimate was given. They told me Whirlpool never sent over the orders to fix the stove...fair enough. Got the situation cleared up with Whirlpool and was told the orders would be re-sent to Appliance Service Company to fix the stove. I called and left a message with a reference number confirming this for Appliance Service Company and asking them to order the parts as soon as possible. Didnt hear from Appliance Service Company for 2 days. On 1/29/20 Appliance Service Company called and said they got the dispatch from Whirlpool and would order the parts and call me when they were in. They refused to let me set up a service appointment ahead of time--Im a physician and I was hoping to plan ahead to block my patient schedule. They called back later that afternoon saying no place had the part and they had to order it from the factory and itd be about a week before they got it. 2/4/20 I call Appliance Service Co asking for an update as they had not given me one...Estimated SHIP date for the part was 2/19/20...and then we have to inventory it and put you on the schedule, so youre probably looking at another 3-4 weeks before we can get to you. I called Whirlpool letting them know this was completely unacceptable and they set me up with a different repair company. Turns out Appliance Service Company and the new repair company disagreed with what needed to be replaced and fixed. New repair company had the part ordered, delivered, and inventoried in less than 1 week. I now have a working, and safe stove several weeks prior to Appliance Service Company...and who knows if the stove would have even worked or been safe to use with the parts they wanted to order. These guys are not great at communication, customer service, timeliness, and knowledge. They do not advocate for their customers and I would not recommend them.
These guys were amazing. They came out twice, once to evaluate what was wrong and once to repair as they had to order the part. Long story short, my pump went out after only owning my dishwasher for all of 9 months. I had the same repair guy come out both times and he was friendly and professional.He also educated me on the machine. I also asked him about the term water hammer and he filled me in on what it was and let me know that plumbers specialize in a situation like that.Both times the repairman came I got a courtesy call they were on their way, both times they were punctual and on time. I will use these guys in the future.
We cannot say enough about Dan and Steves professionalism and genuine concern regarding issues we had with our brand new double oven. We have had a run of bad luck you might say with contractors and repairman during our kitchen remodel and it was refreshing to have true professionals take the time to walk us through our situation and provide a thorough analysis of what we were up against. The man who answers the phone and schedules appointments is completely rude and unprofessional. I was not happy with the service the last time I dealt with them about my oven but I thought I would give them a second chance with my dryer. He has made me miss work to wait around for them for unacceptable reasons on 3 different occasions! IF they seem cheaper than others- don’t be fooled. The time you lose with work because of unorganized, inefficient, imbeciles who lack ANY customer service is not worth it.

I have used Appliance Service Company in the past, when my refrigerator had a warranty issue, so they were the first any only company that I called when my dishwasher died. The team at Appliance Service is extremely professional and knowledgeable from scheduling thru actual service. They take the time to ask the right questions to be sure I was taken care of. You will know the window of time when to expect them, they communicate with a phone call when the technician is on his way, and then the service is professional in every way. I appreciated the informative guidance I received to fix my problem. I needed a replacement part and I am good to go! Thanks guys!

Response to the owner.... customer service is defiantly not your strong point as seen from other responses. You stated that you were there for 90 minutes however it was more like thirty minutes and when you got shocked you were pretty much done with the job and it was just at the insistences of my wife that you did anything else. So the 90 minutes more than likely included 60 minutes of travel time. I would also like to point out that yes there was corrosion on the inlet hose however it was only on the side of the machine and not on the outlet side from the house. So if it was the house causing this don’t you think it would be on both sides of the hose and not just the washing machine side? Also I have other appliance hook up to the same water and why do I not have problems with them? We did just as you asked and paid for an electrician to come and investigate the problem and he found nothing wrong so like you I should bill you for the electrician that found nothing wrong with the electrical that you said was bad. and yes you have provided service for my appliances over the years and I have been pretty much satisfied with your service however, I have had a washer in that exact spot for 13 years and have never had that problem with that particular machine not one blown hose. I have this machine 4 months and have three blown hoses that are corroded on the washing machine side. Like you stated to my wife it was above you and you had never seen it before but you blame my house for the cause and cost me money to have an electrician come out to tell me basically what you found there is nothing wrong with the electrical. So if you are me what would you think? I usually dont get too worked up over these little things however when you threaten a customer that is unprofessional and others should know how you operate. And yes the other guy spent less time then you and that is sad that Whirlpool only uses both of you for their service calls because I see them losing a lot of loyal customers if this is how you diagnose problems. And by the way the machine is still apart as you left it on the first call.
Dan, from Appliance Service Company, fixed the light on our ice dispenser back in January. He did a great job, finding the problem very quickly, and even included our 3 year old in the fixing process! It made our little guy’s day to help…he was so excited to tell his siblings and daddy all about it. Dan was so patient with our son and did a wonderful job fixing our light. We would recommend Appliance Service Company and we will be calling them in the future for any needed repairs. Thank you Dan!
Was referred to City Appliance by a client because I was having an issue with my dishwasher that is only 5 years old. When I called they were very professional and more than helpful. Before he set an appointment to have someone come out he had me move the water inlet and it fixed the problem at no cost. I would recommend them to everyone... fair and honest!!! Great experience!!!
My dryer was broken, it took a while to troubleshoot and find out exactly what part I needed. I called and asked what time they closed. The gentleman on the phone said theyd just closed. I quickly explained my dilemma and that I was about 15 minutes away. He very graciously agreed to wait for me to get there, sold me the part for the price he’d quoted and I was able to get my dryer working again that evening instead of being without it all weekend. That kind of customer service is what will keep me coming back as a repeat customer.

The service contract they offer for used appliances is a good value for us and has paid for itself most years. When weve had a need for appliance repair, they have sent over a good technician in a reasonable timeframe. We have been very pleased with their service overall, and would recommend them.

They couldn’t even put a belt on a 4yr old GE washer...the kept trying the same thing over and over. I pulled it up on you tube (which was a 2min video) showing how the belt had to be fed in the o-ring but by then he was so frustrated he refused to take time to even look at it. It didn’t cost me anything but TIME!

On top of having a young family, my husband and I work full time. He is in the Army and I am a school teacher. We were assigned to use this company based on our Lowes warranty for our dryer. On a Thursday we were given a 5 hour timeline. (1-5pm) I cannot get home until 3:30 and the Lowes representative made a note of that in the technician notes. They called me at 1:00 that day and naturally I could not check my phone until school was let out. Needless to say they had moved on and were absolutely unable to accommodate the situation. After I had already moved my personal appointments to get the dryer fixed, I was a bit frustrated, but still tried to work with them. We rescheduled for Monday, and the owner assured me that it would be a later afternoon appointment. On Monday, I rushed home, and to assure them I was home and ready I called them. Ironically, my son started crying and I went to tend him at the moment they called, and after I was able to change his diaper I called this service company back. (Literally 5 minutes after they had initially called) And they stated that they could not come. AGAIN!! Ive done all I could...I even cancelled my own appointments to get this taken care of. I was speaking with the owner and he said I understand, but I cannot keep my guys waiting. With all do respect, its not as if I kept them waiting even 10 minutes, and he acted as if he was doing me some extraordinary favor by making a late appointment. Furthermore, what happened to customer service??? My husband and I work very hard and these people are getting paid! Its not like theyre doing us this huge favor...Im sorry I cant be home all day...we have jobs too. Bottom line, even after explaining to the OWNER that I was simply changing my sons diaper, and PLEADING that they come see us after the 5 minute interlude, he refused. This is simply unacceptable and represents extremely poor customer service. I highly dissuade anyone from using this company.

This company was recommended by Whirlpool for a dishwasher repair. A tech went out and I was given an estimate to replace both the control panel and heating element. When I questioned the guy in the office about the chances of both parts going bad at the same time, he was rude to me, talking very condescendingly. I asked to talk to the tech that went out and was told that he was not available. I asked for a quote for just the element replacement and it was obvious he did not want to give it to me. The whole conversation was very upsetting. Disgusted, I hung up and hired another company to diagnose the issue and it turned out that only the element needed to be replaced - at a fraction of the cost. Wound not recommend using this company!

Had app scheduled through Lowes. They said this company was rated on par w/ others from the area. Accepted app, but when the receptionist called to confirm he was rude and unreasonable. He actually hung up on me at one point then called me back to read his scathing version of our calls back to me. He did let me know, however, that he had spent much time learning to handle a-holes like me on the phone. Needless to say, the app was cancelled. Im surely not the first to have been given the pleasure of talking w/ this individual. I have to wonder how the company owner might feel about losing a customer, and how many other opportunities for work have been missed?

My refrigerator broke, cooling system was completely out so I called warranty. They came in and open bottom of my freezer door and took the shelfs out. Later I found out that they broke the railing and covered up their negligence.Find out what the problem was, scheduled another appointment with me came and fixed it. 2 days later my freezer was full of Ice, they came in and told me that sir is coming in and that rails are broken, and that Lowes soled me broken refrigerator on the very first day.Confusing right?The parts and labor be out of my pocked expense because I dont have the Warranty on that. I started to make sense of this, because if this would be broken from the day one of purchase I would have this issue right away and not 4 years later. I called them and asked them to help me understand that, and he denied that this would be a their negligence during the freezer door and shelfs removal and that I have to pay the repair.So, I have to pay for repair that they broke!!!Dont trust them, and dont let this Company touch your appliances.

This company took care of me!My new Whirlpool dishwasher would not properly drain. ASC is a Whirlpool factory authorized repair provider.ASC brain-stormed and diagnosed the problem free of charge over the phone without a service call. The household plumbing under the sink was the problem. Beyond their scope, they told me what to do and I did it. Everything now works great and the dishwasher properly drains; there no longer is a problem.The ASC tecnicians never cared about money, they were dedicated to a customer who was excited about receiving a new dishwasher that seemingly was not working properly. I am grateful to ASC for their professional demeanor and willingness to help me; it worked.This company is professional, competent and I feel comfortable with them. I will hire them without hesitation anytime. An excellent Colorado Springs company!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.......got in a argument with the technician, who happens to be the owner over warranty issue and being charged for the diagnoses of the machine. We had a washer flood our house and called Maytag/Whirlpool to have a technician to come out and figure out why. Appliance Services was called to come to our house. The technician came out and got shocked from my washer but said nothing was wrong with the washer. He tested the water in my kitchen and thought there was electricity in my water. He suggested that we call an electrician or an electrical engineer to come out and check out my house for electricity in my water. We called Berwick Electric to come and make sure our house was grounded and that we had no electricity in our water. Berwick said my house was grounded, neutral in the panel and all water lines were grounded properly. The house was up to code and found no electrical charge in water with washing machine disconnected. When Berwick tested the appliance he found 60vdc from the washing machine, frame to the water inlet with hoses disconnected. Plastic hose housing has male connection ends which become energized with DC voltage after plugging washing machine into 120 volt ac. Washing machine was the cause internally BAD and leaking voltage from internal transformer to frame and plastic housing. That cost us a total of $127.50. We called Maytag/Whirlpool again and they said they would send another appliance guy out. They sent another guy out from a different appliance repair shop. They told me it must be the water. We called Maytag/Whirlpool again. They said they would send someone out to check out the machine. Needless to say it was Appliance Service. When I called to confirm the appointment, I was asked a couple of questions. They told me that they probably wouldnt find anything wrong and it was a waste of time to even come out however he would talk to the technician about it. About 15 minutes later, received a phone call from the technician, the owner, and he threatened me that he was going to charge me for the call because nothing was wrong with my machine. If you ever buy a Maytag or a Whirlpool be aware that there are only two technicians in Colorado Springs that are certified repairers and one of them happens to be appliance service that will take care of you. I would not recommend this company to repair a flashlight much less a large appliance cause you will get that it is in your house and not the appliance at fault. So all together I am out the electrician fee plus 800 for the junky washing machine that is my houses fault so I will make a planter out of it and not recommend Appliance service to anyone and show them my 4 month old washer while Im using my 13 year old washer that has never failed me in the house that is causing all the problem. I will never buy Whirlpool or Maytag again.
