Earlier this year my Tech, Mitch, installed a humidifier on my system. He was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about the system and it’s operation. Mitch did the install quickly and was even able to give me a discount (shhh!). Secondly, today (8/25/2021) Mitch came to check out my wet utility room. Again very friendly. He diagnosed the problem quickly (clogged a/c drain), he provided the options and made a reasonable recommendation. He outlined the process, the cost and even the amount of cleanup necessary. The repair was quick, the price for repair+service charge stung but less so than the cost of a new hot water heater, which I thought could have been the problem. All-in-all I am extremely pleased with Brown’s and especially Mitch! I will ask for him specifically for any future needs. To Brown’s management: Please recognize Mitch’s professionalism, knowledge and courteous manner for both of these instances (initial install and months later a/c repair). Cristian and Josh installed a ductless AC system in our master bedroom and did a fantastic job. There was very small clearance between the wall and the edge of the chimney, but they managed to install the system exactly where we wanted in and explained everything in great detail. The system works great and we can finally sleep on even the hottest days.

Just moved into our Woodmoor home and there was a Brown’s Heating sticker on the furnace. We had several quotes at our rental property, all were way higher than Brown’s. We had them install AC at both houses, absolutely exceptional. My first call to them, Lisa answered, super friendly, professional, and so organized. Ed came out to give an estimate, and another great interaction. He was very knowledgeable and gave options while explaining what and why in my language. Kyle and Justin showed up on time, clean, professional, very polite and respectful. Totally acknowledged and engaged with all my questions and had all the right questions for me to understand what I wanted. The install was a bit of an issue, our house is like that. Kyle and Justin’s work ethic was unmatched, they didn’t even break for lunch, they were here for almost 11 hours (we fed them, they didn’t ask, and were extremely appreciative). Phil the owner came out to help with a few issues, this guy knows his stuff, and super cool. I loved the way he treated his employees. Kyle and Justin communicated with us the entire time, I feel like an HVAC expert now! Can’t boast enough about how amazing Brown’s Heating and Cooling is. Mike Highland did a great job with annual maintenance for our heating and air conditioning systems. He also demonstrated his expertise tracking down an undetected leak of the refrigerant in the AC system which would soon render the system useless. Mike found the hidden leak, fixed it, and returned our system to working order very quickly. We appreciate his professionalism!

Browns installed our new AC unit 5 years ago and it’s run perfectly until last week. We had a minor issue and when Browns wasn’t immediately available on a Sunday, we made the mistake of calling another vendor who did not meet our expectations. They didn’t even open up our unit to take readings before misdiagnosing the problem.When we called Browns the next day to fix things, every person we spoke to from the start was helpful and showed that they cared about our issue. They were able to put us on their standby list and got a tech out to our rural area the very next business day. Mike arrived on schedule and was friendly, polite and professional. Im writing this on my granddaughters acct. However, this review is from Sandy and Jack Morgan who had Browns Heating and Cooling visit us this afternoon. Technician, Mike H. came today to trouble shoot a very irritating AC noise. 2 other HVAC Companies could offer no assistance at all and basically dismissed the complaint out of hand ! Mike listened to our concern and in the end was able to stop the noise and evaluate further for inadequate air exchange flow, with a follow up pending. We will NOT use any other company from here on out, except Browns Heating and Cooling, from now on !!

I don’t normally leave reviews but from the top man Ed to the installers Josh and Kyle top notch! I got multiple bids. Ed was quick to get back with me other people drug their feet many people canceled estimates in the end it was a clear choice and I’m very happy I made it.

We had been told by another HVAC company that our furnace was emitting CO2 gas along with other defective parts that needed replacing. We requested that Brown Heating & Cooling come out and check out our furnace since we didn’t feel that the furnace was in need of any repairs. The technician, Mike, kept us informed of his arrival, evaluated the furnace and found no evidence of any issues or problems with our furnace. I called Browns to look at our heating and cooling systems after weeks of system issues where all parts of the house werent reaching ideal temperatures. We had recently had both the furnace and AC units replaced by another company. The recommended upgrade didnt fix the problem. Within minutes of Mitch K. arriving at our house, he quickly identified poor fan settings, filter box issues, incorrect humidistat installation, and valve issues. After an hour of work, our system was pumping cold air! Mitch took the time to explain each step of his process and recommend options. After working with four other HVAC companies in the Springs, Browns is a league above the others!

We were having issues with our HVAC system and had another company come out late last week. We were still having issues so we called Browns Heating and Cooling. Mitch, the technician that came to our place of business was great. He asked a few questions, went up to the attic where our furnace is located and after a few minutes he diagnosed the problem. He was thorough, straight forward and after he was finished explaining our options, we understood what was needed and authorized the repairs. He did not try to sell us on more expensive repairs although he made it clear that we should consider replacing the furnace. His repairs will buy us a little time and we will be able to make a more educated decision as to the best course of action going forward. We feel we were treated honestly and we look forward to doing more business with Browns Heating and Cooling in the future.

Routine yearly maintenance on my gas Furnance. Good job.Then I asked if he could replace my carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. From the moment I called, Brown’s has been amazing. Both Jill and April were knowledgeable and understanding. My air conditioner wasn’t working properly on 95 degree days. The office let me know it may be next day before they could make it. They were able to get me in the same day I called. Mitch k. showed up on time and explained everything as he went. Mitch K came to our house today to install a new thermostat. Mitch arrived at the house on time. I very much appreciated that he worn a cover over his mouth and nose the entire time. He informed me about the cost upfront and was efficient in installing my new thermostat.
