I bring my mom here to drop her car off for service. The staff is friendly. They are always fair and honest about what needs to be done. And they do the work in a timely manner. A hidden gem in Colonial Heights that I recommend every chance I get.

From all reviews i used to go here over 20 years ago. Wayne owned it back then. I will be stopping by there today to have them check my vehicle because I need a second opinion. I was recently at Carlton’s for an oil change, tires rotation and air filter change.I have been going to Carlton’s for a few years for inspections. I was not aware that Carlton’s was a full service garage until I was speaking with someone who was having work done on their car and they began telling me what they were having done to their vehicle at Carlton’s; and I have been taking my SUV back since.All the staff are very polite and helpful. I’ve always felt comfortable whenever I have been there. The even offered me a bottle of water while waiting for my SUV. I waited while they have performed the services on my Equinox and was surprised that I wasn’t there long.Carlton’s has definitely earned my business as they are honest, accommodating and do not try to sell you a service or something you do not need. 😀

Took my 96 Honda Accord in for my AC not cooling, an alignment and a State inspection. A good friend recommended Carltons. This is the first time Ive dealt with them and I was pleasantly surprised that I was treated as if Id been coming to them for years! They ACTUALLY listened to what I told them ( I have a background in gas and diesel mechanics). I even found my comments typed out on the work order. They performed the work exactly as they said they would and did not charge me an arm and a leg for it. Yes, they were reasonable and relatively fast for an AC repair. I will definitely be using Carltons again.

I have been a loyal customer of Carltons for several years now. They have always been nothing but reasonable and honest. I trust my car with them and I trust what they tell me. As a woman, it can be hard to find a shop that respects me as a customer. I am happy to recommend Carltons to any of my friends.

Cant guarantee work. Makes you schedule inspections because too busy doing mechanical work. Which is illegal. One Bay is to due inspections only. Does work that does not resolve mechanical issue.

The couple who own this place are so nice and will work with you and you can absolutely trust them... which is hard to find nowadays with mechanics... sad to say! But true. They are honest and will get the work done RIGHT!

Talk about an honest bunch. These guys knew that we were from out of town and could have taken us to the cleaners, instead they charged us less than half of what the local Nissan dealer quoted us. I wish they were in our area. I would be the loudest mouthpiece for them.

I can only give them one star they did a tune-up on my truck not only did they put the wrong spark plugs on my truck they put cheap ones in my truck found out what they had done till my truck was miss firing really bad took it to another shop they told me I needed new spark plugs in my truck and that the ones in my truck are the wrong spark plugs I had told them I just had them done now having to pay to have them redone which really sucks
