Was there to make a payment. Had 3 workers there 2 where helping customers they other seem to be involved with one of the other workers helping one of the customers. Wasnt acknowledged for awhile probably about 10 to 15 min or so . When one of the workers helping a customer called the other worker helping a different customer over and ask for help with question. Then when finished ask me what I needed . Said to make a payment he directed me to a kiosk to make it . I had never done this before. Thought they could have asked me sooner what I was there for. But patience is a virtue these days .

Extremely unhelpful and rude staff. Overpriced services that increase with each pay period because what are you going to do about it? Switch to a different provider? Oh wait, there are no competing internet companies in the area.Also, have fun only getting 10% of your promised speeds. And your provided equipment THAT YOU PAY FOR is cheap, refurbished, shoddy junk.

Staff was friendly. But I was canceling my TV service because of pricing and the St Louis Blues are out of the playoffs. I know pay full price for my internet, but will be canceling that soon too. When talking to the helpful staff, he advised to bring in equipment in order to cancel. Spectrum obviously do not car about customer retention or they would of given the staff more ability to negotiate pricing. Soon I will find a more cost efficient internet, I hear T-MOBILE is offering a home hotspot!

I had an appointment this past Friday, I show up, sign in, and theyre ignoring the names on the list apparently. After Ive waited for about 20 minutes and theyve called and helped three other people, they proceed to clear the names of the list. Mind you Im at the top of the list because I had an appointment, and I watch as she clears my name but my name was never called. At that point I was forced to speak up because they clearly didnt have policy that they wanted to follow at the time. The only reason I give two stars is because she was kind after I spoke up, but the fact that it was necessary for me to speak up for things to be done orderly is ridiculous.

UPDATE REVIEW: changing from 1 to 4 stars. The connection is great now, but it did take close to 6 months to resolve our connectivity issues.Charter sent outWe have had nothing but problems with intermittent internet for the last year. Multiple service calls and the internet works fine for a day then back to in and out internet. We spent hundreds on a high quality router and it wasn’t the issue. We have been customers with charter for a decade and already dropped cable, we are going to be dropping landline service and internet and find an alternative.

The staff was as friendly as you would expect for being understaffed. The signage in the store for socal distancing was helpful although it was unnecessary because they only let 2 customers in at a time. Everyone else had to wait outside in the sun and heat. Also dont waste your time booking an appointment it wont get you seen faster. The staff here told me it doesnt matter when I informed them I had an appointment. They did get me my new equipment and that was my only reason to be there in the first place.

Great!!! If you want to save your dollars, definitely ditch the big ones. I will save almost a thousand a year by switching. Had three phones with Verizon and only an 8 gig plan with a 20% discount from work. 3 new phones, by the gig plan, and I am saving over 60 dollars a month. Cant beat that!!

Incredibly poor service. Between 4 phone calls where I got a different story from each person and Timmy at this office (who had his own set of totally different rules, and no manager there) couldnt even get a new account established with an in-person visit Also they just totally lied and said a manager would call me. No phone call from anyone. Just horrible. Definitely looking at other providers.

Been experiencing duplicate billing issues and misapplied payments since selecting to move (via Spectrum app) in May 2019!As of August, the issue is still not resolved and Spectrum continues to disconnect our service in error, then charge a reconnect fee to correct their error!!Whats worse is there are no other wifi options in my area! It is VERY clear, those able to make decisions and issue credits DO NOT CARE!!My deepest sympathies for everyone with Spectrum as their only option

They need a store closer to the other end of hwy 255, like Columbia, IL. You have one in Alton & Collinsville. Your companys are still giving out the Belleville Illinois address and I drove all the way up there and spent an hour-and-a-half looking for the building and there is not a building with that address number on it very annoyed not very professional!

This is the worst experience I have ever had from a customer service stand point. I have three business accounts with these people and a personal resident that I will be taking from this company because of their inexperienced staff. I have been working on making simple changes on my account since we moved our office location and this has been a nightmare. I have never been on hold this much in my life. All they do is open tickets and never call back. This has been going on for almost three months. I am normally a fairly patient person, but they have waisted every ounce of my patience.

Had to replace my internet modem which is rented from Spectrum. First, I called customer service to report that their modem quit working and reordered it. I was told that the new modem would arrive in up to three days. At the end of the three days still no modem. My second call was irritating to say the least. BY THE WAY I am a college student and I attended classes online. I was informed that the modem was going to arrive in 7 to 10 days unless I wanted to go to a local center. I was so irritated with the company that I actually said well at least the people in the local center are nicer. Oh Boy Was I Wrong. I arrived at the center and made sure they actually had modems on site...they did... So I brought in the broken modem to be replaced and the girl at the counter was beyond rude and seemed like she just didnt want to do her job. After major arguments such as i have too many modems in my house... wrong... Attitude needs to be adjusted.

This place has terrible customer service I was told by an employee there that I was being defiant when I was asked the same question twice with such an nasty attitude still did not come out my character and still being told I was defiant! My vocabulary is up to speed and then to be waved off and told just let accounting deal with that.. excuse me but your not the one waiting on me so move on I will never return to this store believe that! It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star!!

Very slow environment, took over an hour to get equipment dropped off. Had two people working the registers and one of the customers at the register had been there even before I showed up. Once we were taken care of we got our stuff settled in less than a minute.Management should learn to prioritze customers with smaller less complicated problems first. Instead they take things one at a time, furthering the frustration of all other customers.

They should dedicate one agent to sales only. Only two people working and I had to wait 30 minutes on two customers trying to order something. Returning my equipment took 2 minutes. The place is a pretty good size space and they only have 3 benches. How about some chairs so I dont have to sit by somebody taking up over half the bench?

I wish I could give it zero stars. No showed on day they were supposed to install. After calling they decided to mail it. Said they would send email with tracking info. Nope! I called two days later and after refusing to email the info I was told I had to write it down because...well, they were not sending an email. Finally get the package with no installation packet or modem. Had to drive to local charter store to pick up modem from a very rude sales associate. Got home and could not get anything to work. Called and they sent a technician to the house. After about 20 minutes said it was not serviceable and left. I took everything back to the store and they asked where the router was! I never recieved one!!! Good luck to anyone going with this company.

14 people waiting in line when I arrived to return a cable box to save the $7 a month rental fee. Still waiting after 15 minutes with 10 still ahead of me. Five service calls in the past year to try to correct an on-going tiling problem that started happening again on all cable boxes in the house. Poor customer service in the store, ineffective technical service calls to my home, excessive charges for monthly service. Is there any wonder why people are dropping cable in growing numbers? Ridiculous...

Absolutely worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with! Three years after closing my account, they sent my (paid off) account to collection agency. I havent heard anything from them since I returned modem and paid off three years ago. Keep your receipts!!! I am going to have to pay them off a SECOND time because I didnt save receipts... Absolutely ridiculous. And the worst part, I am paying for a modem that wasnt needed (it was a line issue) and their technician took my non-charter modem. Will gladly pay competition more just so I never have to deal with them again.

Not very busy when I went. Customer service was kind of cold. Went to check on mobile phone service, compared bill with Verizon. Then I was asked if I was rich, because I was paying so much to Verizon. The tone of the question felt like I was being judged and was rude in my opinion. REALLY!? I recently embarked on an incredible purchasing experience. My name is Eric Buehler and I have been in the sales and customer service business for over 15 years. I co-run a welding manufacturing facility. I was in sales for 8 years and a recruiter for the Marine Corps for 3. I am a Toastmaster in public speaking. With all that being said, I have never met a more fascinating and professional individual as I did last week when switching my mobile service over to Spectrum. Upon entering I was greeted warmly, which is always the first step and a must. However, the greeting felt more sincere than usual. While purchasing my service and new IPhone XR all my questions were asked and answered. Most of the time my question, which were an abundant amount, were answered before I had the chance to release them. I have never seen such professionalism in my entire life. Even during my purchase another lady entered that ONLY wanted to speak to Monique. That was a sure sign that this unique and highly professional induvial was a “fan favorite” at this store. Having not finished deciding on what phone I wanted, I decided to let the lady go ahead of me while I finished deciding. When I say it was majorly apparent as to why she wanted to speak to Monique only I was amazed. The lady was taken care of quickly and Monique reassured her over and over everything was in good standards/hands. I told Monique at the end of my transactions that I saw why she was the manager and in charge. I was shocked when she said she wasn’t the manager. Overall, this sales representative (Monique) was the best interaction I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and interacting with. She deserves her own store in my opinion. Charter was my only option for 6 years until another communications company became available to the area. As soon as I became aware of this, I switched providers. Charters channel display and navigation feels out dated, it felt like I was stuck in the 90s. Internet speed was slow but I had no other option. Only when I called to cancel service with Charter, did they offer me any deals/promotions. They also tried to tell me that fiber optic was not available in my neighborhood while I had just had my new service set up connected to fiber optic.There must be lots of other people like me canceling service because I have been receiving mail from Charter advertising new deals and offering a start up speed of 200 mgps while other providers offer 50 mgps start up. The thing is, 200 mgps is not necessary for most homes, unless you live in a mansion with a very large quantity of square footage. I have no complaints with the 50 mgps start up speed in my 3 bedroom, 2 bath house.Even if they were to offer a better deal than my new service, I would decline the offer out of lack of trust.
