I love the staff and the manager of this location is awesome. I was their getting my car fixed and they got it done pretty quickly. The manager is very professional, while i was their a customer came in and had a attitude because, she wanted her oil change right then and their and didnt want to wait her turn so she proceeded to yell and him and use fowl language. He politely ask her to leave the store and was able to keep his cool. I actually was very impressed with his attitude and it didnt change his mood.

LOVE this Meineke. I have been to other ones, but after going to this one, I will not go to any other. There is none of that hey. Shes just a girl, so lets screw her over, because she wont know the difference - which I have encountered at other shops. They have never done the bait & switch with the pricing (which happened at the Wood River location - will never go there again, & will advise others not to as well after what they did). The price is always what they say its going to be. Christian is super nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Always takes care of my car, and treats it as if its his own. He & the rest of the guys now have to put up with me for a REALLY long time, because I wont go anywhere else.

I called for a brake service and Cody was super nice and professional and got me in same day with a pretty great deal on full brake service. I’ll definitely go back for more repairs. Cody and the other guys attitudes were great and fun to be around.

The specialists at Meineke are very good at what they do. I took my 98 Ford Ranger to multiple mechanics who told me I needed a brand new exhaust system and I would be out $1600. Meineke took care of my exhaust leak by installing a new piece of pipe and welding it to my exhaust. Best choice I’ve made on my vehicle, saved thousands of dollars.Thank you!

The best place I’ve ever been. As a young female, a lot of shops try to take advantage of you. But they never do this to me. The shop manager is honest, gives the best deals available, and makes sure everything is working right. I mentioned I was going out of town and he did a full check on everything on my car to make sure it was safe to drive before leaving. So nice!!! I have nothing but great things to say!

Do not get any work done here. Brad the manager is completely out of line and rude to customers on the phone. He should be put out of work. Completely.

I asked them to do a bench job that all the other shops in Collinsville refused.I need a new ball joints stamped in my lower control arms. Pricing for said bench job was great. Manager on duty was awesome. I would definitely go back to this location. Must have made some changes in management. Ive had some issues with this location in the past.

Easily the best place to get your brakes fixed in collinsville. They gave me a fair price and had my car done in a few hours (complete rotor, pads, and brake fluid change) Not only that, but I was given a ride home by Christian, and picked up when my car was done. this place is honest, friendly, and they do great work!

Was in town from Florida, late on a Friday afternoon my Alternator went out. These guys got me in and fixed in 2 hours. They are amazing.

I came in on a Saturday where they did not take appointments I was in and out with a tire rotation and oil change in less than two hours for an unreal price thank you!

Went in for an oil change, when I went to get my car the guy literally said (to his manager) “I lost the screw for the splash shield. What should I do?” And the manager told him to zip tie it.It cracked while I was on the interstate and I had to pull over multiple times and buy duct tape because it was so close to hitting my engine. And not only was the replacement shield expensive, I did not get a refund on the oil change or new splash shield. Most expensive oil change I’ve ever had ($120 to fix the disaster) and I’ve talked to several other people who had the EXACT same thing happen.

I have been here 2 times. The first time was fine but next time I made an appointment and arrived on time but didnt agree to work for me and didnt seem to want to see me. I called for an appointment and waited for 2 days. Very disappointed by the service here

I will never take any of our vehicles to another meineke! I dropped off my truck for a simple oil change. 3 hour go by still no call I tried to call them no answer so I go up there. And they are closed. No one bothered to call me to tell me my truck was done or not to come pick it up. So now my wife has to take off work tomorrow to take me to get my truck and I will be late for work tomorrow because these lazy bunch of you know what’s can’t pick up a phone and call me to get my truck. Not to mention I have a truck full of tools just sitting in their parking lot!

The people that work here are some of the most genuinely nice and helpful people I’ve met. They’ve done a lot of really tough and expensive work for me that I had been previously taken advantage for by other various dealerships and kept my car/life going. Thank you so much guys 👏🤟

I called in a tizzy yesterday because one of my tires was spewing air where the hubcap meets the rubber. The crew here was able to get me in FAST and got me a deal. I was thankful that the man working the front desk (name began with a B... Brad? Brandon?). He told me that he didn’t get into this line of work to charge anything and everything he could out of people. I thanked him and told him how much I appreciated that because I have been taken advantage of before simply because I’m a woman. Class act employees!! One of the mechanics even gave me a ride back to work and offered to come get me when my vehicle was done. I will continue to use this Meineke! They really made me feel like family!

Good place for a reasonable oil change but anything else and FORGET it. Wanted $250 to do the disc brakes with ME providing all the parts. GET REAL. I wouldnt do that for half that price.... Its a very simple job anybody can do and not charge a fortune for. Now this isnt supposed to reflect on the people who run the store. This is a corporate thing. But when I asked the guys at the place if there was a coupon that I could use for the brake service they told me no and when I checked the website there was most certainly a coupon that I could have used and I doubt they didnt know about this period while I was sitting there I wrote this review and when I went to check on my Van I was scolded for walking into the shop and I thought it was a bit harsh because I was just checking if the tires had been rotated since they were up on the lift already and they had come down and not been rotated. This was an important thing because I was driving about 250 miles to day. A few minutes later my suspicions were confirmed when the mechanic came in and said thanks for the 2 star rating and explained to me that the prices were set by corporate and they had little to do with it which I already knew. But I didnt think there is any need to make me feel awkward about by decision to post a review when all things considered I think it was due. It took them an hour and a quarter to do the job. I dont care if it is a reasonable oil change I likely wont be coming back and Im pretty sure theyre happy about that. lol.

IT PROBLEMi love going to meineke for my oil changes and other minor repairs, but i noticed that when you schedule an appointment online a week in advance for an oil change upon arrival the technicians usually didnt get the notification of the online scheduling. I love the online scheduling because of my crazy schedule, but wish the online application would communicate with the exact location.

They stayed 4 hours past quitting time on a Saturday night to finish my car. I have no family here, no other car to use and need to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday in a couple of days. Wow!

First time going there but definitely will not be my last! I had a problem with my van surging every time I had the air on and before they looked at they guessed it was the air compressor. After they hooked to up to their machines, they found out it was an easy fix. Told me if I bought the part, they would put it on. When I asked how much theyd charge me, I was told to just buy the 3 of them something to drink. So the job cost me a total of around $40. Thanks so much guys for the awesome job. Definitely just made a lifelong customer and I will definitely be telling everyone I know!!! Brandon, Robert, and Lucas are amazing!!

Had a flat tire & it needed to be replaced. Explained to them that I had a very important Drs appointment in St.Louis & if anyway possible if they could get me in right away. I was very pleasantly happy that they did. I even got there 20 minutes early. Hats off to Dobbs.

Had a walk in today - I thought my antifreeze was leaking. Turns out so much more was going on with my car. Luckily Sam, Andy, and Rodney were able to help get the majority of it fixed while showing me exactly was going on. Super funny and sincere men. Took my fiance car up to get an estimate on new tires and an alignment. After knowing the price I came back a week later and got the same great customer service they provided me and got all the work done within the hour of me arriving. Also showed me potential problems that are coming up and gave me a quote for a future visit. I am very impressed with this store and will be going back there to get her car finish with and my cars future work. Great workers and awsome customer service. Took every initiative to take care of my car while there and didnt forget about me like other places tend to do.

Needed brake pads replaced on a minivan before a long trip. The guys got me in and out and saved me a ton of back ache in replacing the pads quickly, and tightening the lug nuts properly (they were way overtorqued before I came in.) Cant say enough good about this shop. They also checked a couple other issues that my van had and resolved them (I thought there might be a problem and they resolved it without extra charges.) I will go out of my way to visit this shop in the future. Thanks guys.

Greedy money hungry place. Shady work. Employees will be friendly but you are much better off going to Dobbs. The hole meineke franchise in Belleville and ofallon are ran by the same person. When they work off commissions you get charged more.

I took my car there on June 23rd to have the air conditioner checked needless to say the quote was over $2000.00 & now Im having all sorts of problems! My battery cable wasnt connected securely so my car wouldnt start & now I have tons of problems popping up on my message center! I NEVER had any problems until I took it to the Meineke in Collinsville! This was a horrible job done by your so called mechanic! Thanks Meineke for causing more problems with my car! Ill be going to Dobbs from now on!!

I called ahead to make an appt to get my oil changed and the guy said I didnt need one. so a little over an hour later I showed up and he asked if I had an appt, I told him that I was told I didnt need one. He gave me a bit of an attitude but squeezed me in. But not only was he rude to me but he was also rude to the UPS guy that walked in a few min late and also to an employee who I assume was new and still getting the hang of things...all I can say is Im glad hes not my boss! And after I was fixed up he talked to me about some more work that needed to be done on my car, some of that work included a tire rotation...on brand new tires that arent even 2 months old...and $800 worth of work on my brakes that this is the first Im hearing of a problem with them even after getting new tires. Although I am grateful that he was able to get me in with their busy schedule I will not be going back until they learn some bedside manners.

Hey All! My coolant system in my 2011 Chevy cruze was not working and the car was over heating. I just so happen to break down at Subway, next door to Meinke. I asked Donnie if he could come take a look, he was extremely courteous and helpful.I was able to get home and took my car into Donnie to check it out. Now we all are a bit scared when we do that. Are they going to rip me off! Come back with more problems and a higher bill.Donnie called me just a few hours after doing his research, the problem was small fix for only $40, so I told him to fix that and tac on an oil change..... The service was wonderful, the honesty was appreciated. I recommend them highly if you want honest work..

They demonstrate great time management, they are honest meaning, they dont try to sell you something that you truly dont need. I will always use Meineke

Not happy to say the least. Appt was at 130 and to start off they told me they were late because of short staff. Then 45 minutes into what was advertised as a 15 minute oil change, I was told they didnt have the right size oil filter. So here im sitting here an hour later for a 15 minute oil change and its still not done. The point of an appointment is because I have things to do but apparently my time isnt that valuable. Will I use Meineke again or recommend them to anyone else? First impressions are big and this one flat out sucked. So no I will not. My wife suggested I go to Valvoline and I thought Id give Meineke a chance but now I gotta admit to wife that she was right and I was wrong.

I knew a friend of the owners, he tried to charge me some outrageous price and false amount of labor time, something like 4x the time it would of taken. I went down the street to Oreilys and they helped me for 25 percent of the price and time. I dont recommend coming here and the owner is just a rude/depressed/non people person kinda guy. Just dead and it shows through their pricing and attitude.

Terrible service. Had an appointment set, on arrival we were told there was no appointment in the system the. When returning 3 days later employee apologized for having to cancel admitted he lied about the scheduled visit. The screws on the oil Pan were cross threaded. Employee stated that this was our problem and additional cost for correcting this issue. The oil in this vehicle was last changed at this location meaning that they cross threaded it. Not sure why we went back after paying for an alignment that I am positive was not performed but we were charged for. We will never go back and will report to the BBB. I can only imagine how many people are being taken advantage of at this location.
