Kazs was highly recommended by parts manager @ dealership for excellent workmanship and they live up to this reputation with OUTSTANDING results! My 1999 Chevy Suburban required rather involved repairs and they readily took on the challenge, despite the service advisor at the local dealership telling me my 22yr old vehicle was too old for the dealership to work on. Kazs also performed my oil change while they had my Suburban and ALL of the work was completed in LESS THAN 24 HRS from the time I dropped off my Suburban. FANTASTIC experience and results ! ! !

The individual who answered my call didnt want to accept the work I needed done which was relatively simple work for a properly equipped shop. He was very short with me on the phone and apparently uninterested in earning my money.

So friendly and helped get me in for a quick oil change on a holiday weekend when I needed it to get out of town!! I would recommend them to anyone!

I was in Collierville visiting my sister when my engine light came on. The dealer couldnt get me in for several days so my sister suggested Kazs. They were so nice and even gave me a ride back to my sisters house when I had to leave it there for repairs. They fixed the issue, didnt overcharge me or fix anything unnecessary. And when I had a similar issue with the original fix several months later, they helped me get reimbursed for warranted part. I highly recommend Kazs.

My husband’s driveshaft fell off on the interstate. We had it towed to one ship that had it for 3 and a half weeks with no resolution from the very first day. My mother recommend Kaz’s and had the truck towed to them and they had it fixed in ONE DAY!!! What we waited 3 and half weeks for was done in ONE DAY!! After spending 3 days and $2,000 at ANOTHER shop and the problem still not being corrected, this place was recommended to me by a close acquaintance. I am pleased with the overall experience as my SUV drives normal again and they had me in and out in a day!! Theyre not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and they seem to stand by their work. Customer service alone had me sold as it was pouring down rain and the owner took me to work without question so I wouldnt have to Uber. Thank you guys!!!

Kazs Garage was very professional when I went to them for help. I brought in my Dodge Charger because it makes weird noises sometimes. They were able to find the issue and fix it. I felt like they were very professional and fair. They even drove around with me so I could show them what it sounds like and point out the issues. All in all, I think this is an honest repair shop and Im thankful my friend recommended them to me. Looks like I found the place to take my rough- riding Dodge Charger!!

I wish I could rate higher. Me and my husband took our BMW for oil change and routine Maintenance; we knew there were some more issues, and gave the guys at Kaz’s permission to fix them for a total of $2,200. I pick the car up on my lunch, drive the 23 miles back to work, and it ran fine, but when I left 4 hours later to go home my car won’t run. We had to have it towed back to Kaz’s where he had it another 4 days, and had to re-do what he’d done the previous week because after they’d changed the oil they didn’t realize the screen wasn’t in place to filter the oil. So oil had leaked all over the engine. Something that would not have been our fault since they’d performed the last oil change. They expected us to pay almost another $700 for this. Which is completely unfair since this was no where near something we’d done to the car in the 23 miles I’d driven it since picking it up. They knocked it down to $400, but still. I don’t think we should’ve had to pay a penny since it was their fault the screen had not been put back into place after they did the last oil change. And then they tried to say it’s our fault for the vehicle not being properly maintained. Granted we were a bit over on the oil, but not to the extent they were making it out to be. We should not have had to pay for the work they had to do bc of the mistake they made. I wish I could leave a better review bc I know they are good people. But this was not a good experience.

I love the philosophy of this place! The same mechanic will receive your vehicle, do the paperwork, and do all the work on it, and then you talk to him when you pick your vehicle back up. Wonderful personal experience, and well deserving of its place on Main Street in the Collierville square!I had no power brakes and usual idling in my van I use for work. I towed it to Kazs garage Monday morning and Bill took it in and ran the diagnostics on it. Turns out I had bumped a vacuum hose loose when I was replacing the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, and I just couldnt see it when I looked. Bill re-seated and all was well! One day turnaround (I picked it up that evening). And they charged less than half what just the diagnostic would have cost at another well rated garage chain. Wonderful and knowledgeable service! Best garage Ive ever experienced, hands down.

I was referred to Kazs by another well-known established auto shop in the area. Apparently my brake job was so severe that No one wanted to touch it, but Bill at Kazs took on the challenge. When Bill said, We can fix anything but a broken heart. I was sold! It took a while to complete my brakes because of the corrosion and rust, but the mission was successfully completed! My brake man was a quiet and reserved person, but diligent and determined. During my stay, everyone was hospitable, offered water and coffee and Bill suggested a great lunch venue. They are also reasonably priced. This is why I rated them a 5 star!

Ive been taking my truck to another place for years. Im not auto-literate so was pretty sure they were taking advantage of me, but being short on time didnt really have a choice. Started having an issue with my high-mileage Truck a few months ago, the old place quoted me $2000 to fix it! More than the truck could trade-in for. Issue started getting worse, took it to Katz one day. I had a pretty good idea what the issue was at this point. They took it in, called me and quoted me the exact same thing I suspected. I asked them if they could fix two other things that i knew were bad. All-in-all, they charged me less than $300 for three repairs when the other (chain) shop was going to charge me $2000 for one repair. My truck sounds better than it has since Ive had it, can actually hear someone now on speakerphone while driving, they even gave me good advice to go with it. This is my shop from now on!

Worst experience at a car repair shop ever.Extremely rude and unprofessional. I picked up my vehicle after they tripled their initial quote to repair front end damage on my car to get another estimate. By that time they already had it at their shop for 4 days. After I picked it up I noticed rear end damage and busted tail light that wasnt there when I dropped it off. Kaz denies any responsibility. He first told me that I must have caused the new damage after I picked it up, then changed his story and said that the damage was there when I dropped it off. I obviously dont know for sure who caused the extra $1500 damage to my car but wish I would have picked a more trustworthy mechanic to begin with.

It was really hard to find honest and reliable car repair place. wherever I moved around finding decent car center was the hardest task. ( I lived in Wisconsin, California, Virginia, and Collierville TN ).I think finally I found one and this place is great. I like their honesty and the reasonable price. Believe me I called every place around here. Well ! My car ended up not need to be fixed but they didnt need to tell me that. Since I already gave them a permission to replace the parts I thought it was broke. However They checked and found it is not necessary, then Let Me Know about it. I can easily assume other place would just go ahead and replace it, arent they?I appreciate not just I could save the money,but I find place to trust when my car really need some work. Now I know where to go. Thank you.

I have had various issues with my vehicles because I dont by new ones all the time. It seems like I am forever frustrated with mechanic shops because I feel like I always get the runaround and it always takes way longer than they say it will. Kazs always accurately diagnoses the problem and gets it fixed quickly. Usually if you get it there early in the morning it is done the same day. I will always bring my business here.

I go here for my everything car fix-it needs. Do I need an oil change? I go here because they will give the car a general all over listen to while they are at it. Is is a brake problem? Take it to Kaz. I chose Kaz because I had been desperately trying to find a shop like this for years. I Found Them!

Not only does Kazs Main Street Garage have very reasonable pricing and do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it... but they always seem to go above and beyond or provide a little something extra. When anyone says they are looking to get some work done on their vehicle at a place they can trust, I always highly recommend Kazs.

My parents were in town, so I asked them if they could bring my car somewhere to get the Air Conditioning fixed, as I have no time to bring it anywhere myself. I had been warned many times that AC repair is the worst and everyone is going to take you for a ride..Well I couldnt deal without an AC since I have an infant son and this is our only vehicle. I looked up a mechanic at random on google maps and thank God we found Kazs garage! Price was great, didnt take long at all.. Everything working perfectly.I will never take my car anywhere else as long as Im living in Collierville or the Memphis area.

Yesterday, I dropped my vehicle off to get the heat fixed. I asked them to call my husband to explain what was going on; they called him and told him my heater core was out and they would need to keep my vehicle till today. My heat is fixed and my air conditioner works better. They only problem with my heat is now it works so good I feel like I am in the Tropics hahahah. This work was done at a very resonable price since the dealer wanted alot more money. We have found our mechanic for our cars. Kaz even drove me to work :) thank you. We found you by the reviews.

Kaz replaced a Timing Belt, Water Pump, and Thermostat for me in no time and at a very reasonable price. ****Update: Was 5 out of 5, but called for a simple quote on replacing the front shocks and the employee that answered was rude and said theres no way he is giving a price quote unless I bring the vehicle in. Had the work done through another shop who had no issue providing a quote over the phone.

This is a local mechanic shop, not dealership or firestone, dont expect good customer service, they are always busy, they dont have time to BS with you, you better well-prepared talking about what you want before u speak. With that said, they are very professional, price is very reasonable. I had my brake and rotor replaced and the mechanic even remind me not slamming too hard on the brake for the first 100 miles. I will definitely use their service again.
