I found this company online with an excellent review; I did not doubt to contact them. They were responsive and scheduled and diagnostic. Well, they showed up and said that they would check and then do the job right away. I found it ok. However, they didnt give me any estimating cost. The technician left and went to buy the parts and completed the job, but my surprise was that another person showed up in the middle of the process; I didnt mind. But the bill showed that they charged me the technician’s time when he was looking for parts and the second person which arrived later. No consultation.Thats not all, a couple of weeks later the faucet which was repaired started leaking again. I called them and they scheduled a visit. A person showed up and again checked the leaking. They said that the part that they installed was bad that they needed to replace it. The technician left for at least 45 min. My big surprise was that I got charged $200 for the job they did wrongly the first time, including the 45 min that the guy was looking for the parts (at noon, maybe went for lunch). So I ended up paying twice for the same job. I called the company and complained; they said they would get back to me and never did it.

JBG Plumbing came to fix our clogged kitchen sink. They tried a few things to fix the issue but after 2 visits it was still having problems. I was frustrated and when I called to speak to them about it they were so nice and responsive. They sent Jarrett out the next day and he was able to completely fix the clog at no extra charge. Jarrett was very professional and helpful. They handled it so well I would definitely recommend and reuse them again in the future.

JBG is currently my go-to plumbing contractor. Over the past year and a half, I’ve had them out for both water and gas issues. They found and repaired a gas leak that even the gas company technician could not find, and also ran a new gas line for me to a pool heater. Their price for the gas line was much better than a competing contractor who has also done quality work for me. On the plumbing side, I’ve had them repair a faucet, replace shower valves and install a new tankless water heater. Their response time is great, and their technicians have all been prompt, pleasant and professional. I’ve felt that their prices are fair, and I’ll be calling them again in the future when I need plumbing/gas work done. Recommended!

He knew exactly what to do and completed the work (which included silver soldering a new piece of copper pipe in place) skillfully and quickly. My mother spent all day taking apart her toilet and trying to replace it. She also had slow flush problems and the drain needed the roots to be removed. Joseph came out exactly when he said he would (2hr time window) and took the time to answer the ton of questions my mom asked him.He also noticed that the new toilet parts were inferior and recommend we use the new after market parts she had also purchased recently that were better quality.I would request Joseph again and again.

We were having issues at our house with the water from the washer and the toilet backing up into the tub. My landlord called JBG plumbing and they sent a plumber over to fix it. All he did was run the tub and the washer at the same time for 10 minutes and it unclogged, or so we thought. We paid $175 just for that. A week later the water from the washer started backing up into the tub again. Our landlord called ask if the same plumber could come over to fix the issue. A new appointment was set up until my landlord asked for some type of discount since the charge was so high the prior week and the issue wasnt fixed properly. The tech that works there automatically cancelled the appointment without my landlords agreement. They said theyd send someone else to fix the issue but that wed have to pay the same price over again (possibly more depending on the time to fix the issue) plus an extra $195 to use the camera in order to unclog the drain.Needless to say, we spent $175 for an unresolved issue and they were rude by cancelling the appointment when my landlord simply asked about a possible discount.

Being an electrician, I know to stay in my lane when it comes to professional work. So I hired professionals and I wasn’t disappointed. The work itself was done in a timely manner and was clean cut. The fact that a “Made in USA” water heater was installed was icing on the cake. I would recommend their services if you need professional help.

Hard to understand the other reviews. We had to wait 2 weeks after the pipes broke before they could come out. On the appointed day they failed to show up and never contacted us at any point.We rescheduled for two days later and then got a message that the were “on their way” five hours late. We we really looking for a reliable and professional plumbing service to do some minor and major work with. Looks like this is not the place.

We were stood up by another plumber from Bryan on a Saturday morning after waiting for him to come do the repairs all week. I was very frustrated as I havent had a washer to use in a week. So, I got on Facebook and posted in the BCS buy sale pages that I was looking for a plumber. The owner of the company, responded to me and even sent me pictures of their work. I also was comforted by reading the reviews on the webpage and other people recommending them as well. We have terrible luck getting people that know their trades these days. Well, I was blessed by this company for sure!!!! I decided under the circumstances to not wait any longer and to pay the weekend fees versus waiting. It was worth it to me to not have to take off work in order to tend to this situation. Joseph was our on call plumber and he did an OUTSTANDING job! The owner was described our issue over FB conversations and he prepared him with that news so he brought over everything he needed to get us completely fixed. There were 2 other people telling us our pipes in our 1970 home had collapsed. When I told Mr. John Bradley Gause (the owner) what the others had said, he told me I think you may have been misdiagnosed. Sure enough, he was correct and it saved us $$$$$$$$$ not having to re do pipes that werent messed up. They were just clogged. Not only did Joseph get us flowing properly he had to fix some pipes that the other plumber had cut off. I will only use this company from here on out for any other plumbing issues. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I am a super picky OCD customer who wants things done right and I am on a teacher budget!

A hot water line had ruptured in our garage ceiling during the deep freeze in February, water spewed in our garage. Outstanding service. Friendly efficient technician. My problem was solved in less than 24 hours from the time it started, during a crisis period when other plumbers couldn’t get to me for several days.

With the winter storm affecting a great deal of people in Brazos County, I called JBG to quote me on replacing a 50gal. water heater on the first floor of a garage. I was told a repair person would be out with a unit to replace the faulty one. When the technician arrived, he did not have a heater to install and quoted me $200 more than was quoted originally. I declined, and then received an $89 bill for the technician to look at the faulty unit. After my experience, a representative from JBG contacted me and followed-up on their service. That individual apologized for the communication errors and made an attempt to remedy the service issues; I was also issued a refund for the $89 fee. Although my experience was less than ideal, I do believe it was an outlier that resulted from a communication mix-up; every attempt to remedy the mix-up was made by JBG.

During snowpocolipse 2021 my rental home had a busted pipe in the garage, my tenant was so scared. I scheduled with JBG online and they were somehow there within 4 hrs and exactly right on time, fixed the leak in 15 minutes and we are so grateful!! Will definitely call again!

I called Brad Gause and told him about the city coming out twice over a couple month time frame and them claiming I had no leak. He advised they were pretty swamped and would respond as quick as they could. The following day i was notified they were on their way. They had the leak fixed and also let me know the city meter had two leaks that they city said they didnt have. The city responded quickly as well and Kason with JBG plumbing explained to them where the leak was . This isnt the 1st time I have had to use JBG Plumbing and wont use another company ever...GREAT SERVICE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

He installed three faucets, added some flex lines, checked And adjusted the water heater in the attic and was finished in about two hours for a very reasonable price. Very prompt, knowledgeable and the sinks look great. Also, I called Friday afternoon for an appointment and had a following Monday morning time slot. Left the hole uncovered to dry out and came next morning to check for stability and re-cover everything, and did a really good job of cleaning up what he could around the area where the dirt had made a mess. JBG came to fix my water heater and left me with a new heater that did not fit the recess box and is too big. I can not fit the covering over the box anymore. Now, I am left with a heater that is too big and I need to hire someone else to fix the improper and substantial job. JBG, please contact me to resolve this issue. This plumber is awesome! My kitchen sink stopped draining last night and I needed a plumber ASAP to get my kitchen functional again. My regular plumber couldn’t come until TOMORROW afternoon (can you go a day and a half with no kitchen sink?!) so I started calling around for someone who could help me sooner. I called JBG at 8:30 a.m. and they were here by 10:20. They sent a text to inform me they were on the way.The technician was very professional and gave me a quote before starting the job so I knew exactly what I could except to pay. He finished the job fast and explained exactly what the problem had been and what he had done to fix it. I am confident I won’t have any more trouble. I got a follow up email with an invoice and description of the work that was done.I am very happy and will be making this my regular plumber!

There were some issues where they didnt have long enough equipment for my major plumbing issue. But they come back timely and resolved the issue quicker than I expected. They were super nice plumbers and were very patient dispite the difficult issue. Came to a very reasonable total price. Would completely recommend to anyone hiring a plumber. Called JBG plumbing to unclog the air conditioning drain line in my rental duplex. While he was there I had him run the tool down the drain line at both residents. He unclogged the drain no problem. He did however forget to put the drain line from the air handler back into the main drain line. Good thing I went into he attic to double check the work or I would have had water leaking all over the ceiling. Everyone is human and mistakes can happen, but that is just getting into a hurry and not double checking your work. Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Second time we have used this company.GREAT SERVICES! Upfront, honest and fair pricing! Jason found our clean out pipe! He jetted our main drain clean and camera inspected our pipes inside our house and out to the street to figure out our issues. Apparently our pipes are very clean for being cast iron, and not the issue. The issue is when we connect to the city. The city pipe joints are busted and have giant balls of roots in them. Causing dirt to back flow in to our line, and stopping up any TP that we flush. So we were advised to call the city and have them come fix their pipes. All and all our issues were fixed and now its a city issue. Jason also installed a new shower valve in our guest bath to restore the hot water pressure. He was very aware of the cleanliness of his work area, saying he would workout the issues inside our home, before getting dirty digging in the yard and tracking it inside. Quality of work is excellent, cost of work was superb. The tech who came out was so patient with us and answered all of the questions we had. There were another few gentlemen who came to help out as well. Everyone was so professional and kind. Thank you so much for helping us, we couldnt be happier. 100% recommend this plumbing company!

On Friday at around 1:15pm, I called these folks with an emergency water break on a main line serving about 50 people in my business. An answering service answered and the lady assured me someone would call me back very quickly. It is Saturday at 7:45pm and not one person has called me. This is as poor a service as you can possibly get. I can’t rate the actual service because no one called. All I can rate is the customer service, which is the worst I have ever seen. I ended up calling someone who actually cared about my problem. If you need something in a hurry, look elsewhere. I wouldn’t give these people the time of day. Would rate a 0 if it were available.
