Excellent place for a quick stop. As with all buffets, it is difficult to keep the food from losing moisture, after being out for some time. However you have a good selection of items along with a great dessert bar. I find their soups are among the best, especially the gumbo on our last visit.

Oh WOW! This place is TOO GOOD! Everything was fantastic and so tasty!! So I liked everything and ate too much. It is very clean, I think it was around $14 plus drinks. Can’t do this everyday or I’d getSuper-stuffed!!!

I dont want to scare anybody away from this great restaurant. Sometimes things happen, but thats when management should be notified. We like eating here, so thats why I wanted to clear that up.

Very clean. One of the smaller Golden Corral restaurants but still had nice selection. I love Golden Corral salad bar, but this one didnt have eggs, olives, or real bacon bits when I was there..

There between lunch and dinner rush so not all things available. Fried catfish was great as was my chess pie. Other items not so good. Heat beneath buffet is not consistent so some item cooled quicker than others.

Can always get a well done, not burnt juicy steak here. BEST salad dressing, bourbon street chicken & brunch!

This IS my favorite Golden Corral. Pleasant atmosphere and good food. I just am disappointed with their o delicious chocolate pie. I would happily drive to a Golden Corral just for that.... I dont know why they changed it, but it needs to be changed back!!!!

I love this place, they have something for everyone. I really enjoy the family ambient I get when I walk in and the staff is always friendly. The only thing I dont like is the soda, I feel like it doesnt have enough gas, or I dont know but it doesnt taste very well. Everything else is amazing.

Great fresh veggie and meat selections. Sugar free desserts and HUGE salad bar.

Im from the Dallas area and have been in the Bastrop area for about a year and a half Ive eaten at sever Golden Corrals in the past and my brother in law was working in the Bryan TX area on Aug 3rd I believe it was the staff the restaurant and the food was the best Ive seen in years I used to love Golden Corral but I quit going cause it was going down hill and now if I want some Golden Corral my family and I will drive the hour and a half to eat at the Bryan location the manager was the best Ive seen as well in many years. Keep it up You just got my business when Im in town

After a long day doing community outreach we came here to eat and fellowship. This particular location has, the sweetest staff ;always friendly and smiling. The food is standard Golden Corral style. Always fresh and plentiful.

The place is clean. The food was hot and fresh. Go at a time when its the busiest...guaranteed to be hot.

Its a buffet of basic american foods, with an emphasis on southern style dishes. They have a decent, if not expansive, salad bar, always close to a dozen meat choices, including fish, and many vegetables, if a bit more done than is currently en vogue. Also, plenty of desserts, from ice cream to cake to my favorite, bread pudding without the raisins!The big plus, besides the variety, is the staff. They are attentive and friendly, and add to the enjoyment of a visit considerably!

Clean place excelent personel at the tables, but kitchen people cooking steak makes wait the customers and go slow on cooking steaks like 15 minutes they need to have little more steaks this is a buffett and customers cannot be waiting this muchI see 8 people waiting on a well done steak, thanks this issue can be fix at no time simple and easy.

Most of the food was not over cooked, which is the danger in bulk/buffet cooking.The meatloaf, BBQ chicken, and pulled pork was very fresh and good.Salad bar was broad and fresh.Desert bar….hmmm. Think sweet, but unflavorful commercial products. The soft serve and toppings were just fine.

They had a new buffet and the fresh fruit is AMAZING. Would recommend for anyone with a big family.👍

The food here is all pretty good but its definitely not the best at anything. The reason I give so many stars is because there is a really good variety of different options to choose from. Its a really good place to go when you and your friends cant agree on something or you yourself just cant decide what to eat. This is also a really good place to take the kids, my five year old absolutely loves the dessert bar! Lol. Lastly dont forget to ask for a discount if you or anyone your with is a member of the military.

For $12 you really cant beat it again I dont have great expectation but the food is above average and better than fast food and you can get in-and-out of there real quick lots of options to choose from so for a quick bite to eat if youre really hungry this is a good place to go

I think this is a case of false advertising because this establishment is CLEARLY a campsite. I was doing my normal thing: paid the entrance fee, pitched a tent, and unpacked all my stuff for my 48 hour retreat inside the Golden Corral but not even 2 hours later the entire staff t-posed around my tent and told me to pack it up! I hadn’t even collected enough wood for my camp fire! Go camp somewhere else they don’t respect our kind.

Ive been to several different golden corrals, this one, by far, is the best, all the food was good, all the way down to the dessert.

The food was good and the staff was excellent. My only problem was finding what I wanted and the time it took to scan the many selections.

I have never been to Golden Corral and was totally impressed. The stations are well organized, with each section having a theme for easy finding. They are also placed for maximum flow. Oh and the food never stopped flowing. I really love that the bathrooms have sanitizer on both sides of the bathroom door, and that the door itself swings outward.

I have been to many Golden Corrals...some I would never go back.....but this one was by far the cleanest and friendliest....the food choices and display were awesome... not to mention that the food was yummy....I just wish I lived closer.....and that our Golden Corral in Conroe TX was as good....

Very surprised and disappointed on the lack of protection of Cov19 1st server came and wiped our table with the same towel that she wiped all the other tables with 2nd hardly anyone had on mask (including workers) food was behind barriers but not protected from flies( found one in salad dressing told server should have told the manager) REALLY DISAPPOINTED in GC i spent 49+ for 2 adults and 3 children

Clean, plenty of seating for social distancing. Service staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive.The only thing that prevents me from giving the 5th star was the fried clam strips, which were inedible. I pulled the breading off and saw clearly that they were freezer burned.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a big group at lunchtime. They were very busy but still found us enough tables in the same area were we could sit together. The food was good and had plenty to choose from. And they even had Santa walking around talking to people and giving out candy.

I am very deathly Anaphylactic and have to be careful where I eat, what I eat and read labels of EVERYTHING! I had not been able to go to a restaurant in years to have a hot sit down meal. They dont use too many red seasonings nor red sauces within their restaurant. Was able to eat a variety of foods that I love without having an allergic reaction! I loved it all and the waitstaff was very courteous and polite.

Waitresses were very nice and freindly. Food was hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable. I plan to go back with my family.
