This is a terrible company. The pool water is very bad. They use poor quality chemicals. I do not recommend anyone to work with this company. Your pool water will be cloudy and green. And also control the write-off of money, I was charged more than the contract was.

This family Operated business impressed us big time! We are new to South Florida and doing a medium size project with our pool in stages. Mr. Patel personally visited our home and consulted with my wife and I. Weeks later when we went forward with the project he not only honored the previous estimate but it actually went down a little bit. His family and team we’re amazing throughout the process. Highly recommend!

We just had our pool resurfaced and re tiled. They did a beautiful job.Tosh, the owner was hands on and very professional. Would recommend them highly!

Dave the service manager came out to fix my pump. He was professional courteous and went above and beyond to fix the issue. I highly recommend Dave and his team to help with any issues you have!

First concern was about half the staff was not wearing masks or requiring customers to wear a mask. Not safe by todays standard.Owner was there at this time and was wearing a mask.Received my water analysis and salt showed way below normal. Recommendation was to add 200 lbs of salt ($10 a bag). My salt water chlorinator shows salt level at 2800 and I keep it at 3500. They have shown my pool as needing excessive chemicals on many occasions. Ive gone to Pinch a Penny on 441 near Yamato with the same sample and received a much different analysis, consistently a lower chemical requirement. Ill now go to 441 location where prices are much lower for the same products. Coconut Creek location will rib you off!

Pinch a Penny is great! Staff always helpful.. They answer all questions on pool/spa issues. Water testing keeping my pool water looking crystal clear.

Be forewarned if you choose to use this location. The owners wife chooses what they will and wont support apparently. I had an issue with a Hayward product and after contacting Hayward support and them diagnosing the issue Hayward referred me to this store directly as being a Hayward authorized repair location. Despite me providing my purchase receipt as asked on my original call validating I was within manufacturers warranty they refused to help me get a replacement part at I waited 3 days to hear back from them. I contacted Hayward again who said they would reach out to them on my behalf they refused Hayward themselves. If you ask me this is no way to run a business. I would think you would be willing to help a customer and make a lifelong customer out of them but instead Ill take my business elsewhere, perhaps you should too.

I love this store!! My husband and I recently moved to Parkland and we bought a house with a pool not knowing a single thing about a pool. The pool was extremely swampy, the service technician came and now its crystal clear. We came to this store and the entire staff was extremely helpful, I was greeted nicely, and they helped me understand the basics of the pool. I have also been bringing my pool water to get tested, and they tell me what I need. As of right now I am taking care of the pool, but I will get back to work soon and have them do the pool service, since they offer reasonable prices! I will always recommend this store to anyone who has a pool!

My only regret is that I waiting so long before changing to Pinch A Penny.My pool has never looked so clear. The equipment they sold me works amazingly well and most important their staff is truly professional.Im a fairly demanding guy and these guys are GREAT!Frank RParkland FL

I needed a one time clean up for my swimming pool and contacted Pinch A Penny. There store associates were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me with my clean up and charged a reasonable price to do so. I really appreciated the service and experience I had with Pinch A Penny and will be looking forward to giving them my business from now on for my pool.

I have been a customer of Pinch A Penny for years. Recently they moved to a better location on the main road. Im happy for their increase in business but as with most businesses, the customer service hit new lows. There used to be a high school or college kid to help load chlorine jugs in my car. For the past few months now Im left standing there with my few dollars tip in my hand and no help. I went there today and a cute little girl put the question to me; do you need help with that?, of coarse I said; no, I got it!. What ever happened to the good old days when the kid said: I got it and grabbed the heavy purchases? No pride in personal service anymore. Im looking for a new pool supplier.

Very helpful and the right price! Even the other customer in there offered to help me with the salt and sand that I bought. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Pinch A Penny, North Coconut Creek location is the best swimming pool supplies store in the area period!! Store offers a free water test by extremely knowledgeable and super friendly staff. You can always catch up on the latest with Nick if youre a sports fan as another added benefit to an already pleasant experience at the store!! :-))

The first time I walked into Pinch A Penny in Coconut Creek I was very impressed how neat, organize and clean the store was. Everyone is friendly and very well educated about all the products they carry. The pool service staff is great and dependable; I recommended this store to all my friends that have a pool or a spa :)

Ive been coming to this store since they had the location on the other side of the rode and I will continue to do so! They offer great service and explain to me everything that I may need for my pool that I do not know of. I bring in my water test every 2 weeks and my pool has never been a mess or unbalanced because of the helpful staff. They are all so kind and help me carry the chlorine jugs to my car since I am unable to. I have never been to a better pool store then this one. Highly recommended to anyone having difficulties with their pool.

Wow! Just bought a house and didnt know anything about the pool. I came to the store with water sample. Staff at this store is really great... They went thru the entire process one by one... Dint even try to sell me anything new.. My pool turned blue in one day after being really green for long time... My kids can finally go in to the pool and enjoy..... In July, I drop my pool navigator off to get a estimate how much to fix. They called a few day later and told me $90.00. I said okay but Ill be out of town for 5 weeks. They call me on August 15, which I called back August 17, and told them I will be back to Florida at the end of the month. On Saturday Sept 5th I received a message to remind me to pick up the navigator, which I called pinch a penny Monday September 7, to let them know I will be there the following day. At that time they told me they didnt have it any longer. When I went into the store the owner told me she throw it away. When I question her it didnt make any sense, since they invested 90.00 to fix it. Then she said they only hold items for 30 days. I never received a receipt when I brought the item in. I feel this bad customer service and plan on dealing with BBB. I got a message on Saturday and by Monday afternoon is done. Been going there for years the previous owner were so professional. Needless to say I wont be doing business there anymore.

Great store, I am there at least a few times a month and they never let me down. Everyone there is always very attentive and friendly. This is the place to go for your pool needs.

I live all the way in Boca Raton and I pass 2 Pinch A Penny Stores just to go all the way to this location because their customer service is phenomenal! I bought a pump and I was in desperate need of one and the technician was very helpful and came all the way to my house even though I live quite far. They were very helpful.

BUYER BEWARE !!! Used Returned Equipment Being Sold as New!!!Walked into this store to purchase a Hayward AquaNaut pool cleaner after it not being available at my local Pinch-A-Penny. Was promptly attended by Herb and he rung up the sale for $454.74. When I arrived home and opened the box I found a used unit with parts in a plastic ziplock bag, dirty hoses and bent wheels! When I contacted the store and informed them I was told by Herb that a customer had purchased that unit and used it for a couple of days but did not like it. When I mentioned to him that he did not sell me the unit as a used unit he told me correct. What do you want me to do. When I told him I wanted a new unit he told me he would not give me one that I had to talk to the owner and the owner was not in! I promptly contacted my CC company and disputed the charge. See Pictures below. This is no way to run a business!
